However, the Technician diligently work out a solution that we are very satisfied with so far. We like that ADT sends the same Tech who is familiar with any system problems and has the opportunity to troubleshoot for the right solution. Thanks ADT!

I’ve never had a worst customer service experience in my whole life. The tech has no idea what he was doing and when he decided he didn’t want to come to my house 30 minutes past his arrival window, attempted to “walk us through” the fix for AN HOUR before I just Googled it and fixed it myself. Seriously considering buying myself out of this contract and going with another company. Save yourself some time and energy and go with ANY OTHER COMPANY.

While ADT rep was super knowledgeable, the last three contract employees were not and wasted lots of my time with scheduling visits! Adt seems to have a new goal in providing poor systems where their customer is constantly paying for upgraded cameras and systems when ADT knew or should have known that the ones purchased were inadequate from the start and of poor quality!

ADT - I sold and moved from my home in mid-April 2021. I canceled my account in mid-April and my ADT Pulse account was disabled at that time. However, I just realized I have been charged for 4 months. I have now been on hold between multiple departments for 30 minutes to try to receive the $300+ that was taken from my account after cancellation and after the new owner had already activated their service, thus ADT is billing two families for the same house! This is crazy. Please fix your billing and your call center support and this is being followed up w/ a BBB complaint.

09/14/2021 Update: ADT is a rip off. I update my system and had cameras install. The cameras do not work properly and the doorbell does not ring and this is after the second technician. Now I just want ADT to come and get this equipment. I have placed several phone calls for ADT to come get this equipment that does not work out of my home. Why is it taking so long for someone to call and come get this equipment? ADT is refusing to properly install the equipment and now ADT does not want to honor the 6 month guarantee.I want ADT to come get this equipment ASAP. When I got the new system it took them one week to come and install. Now I cant get them to repair their mistake after 3 weeks. ADT will not return my calls.DO NOT USE ADT FOR HOME SECURITY. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR SAFETY ONCE THEY GET YOUR MONEY AND STICK YOU WITH A CONTRACT.I was unaware of a $25 charge. I was not shown a summary of services and not made aware of a charge. This was a second visit to fix the update that was required by ADT. The service was suppose to be free. Why should I have to pay for your technician mistake?

Kerry was awesome. He was tireless in his efforts to find the battery box. He eventually moved a three-drawer cabinet to find the battery box. He replaced the battery and everything is fine. Very personable and knowledgeable.

All of the techs were great. Dallas Holmes, Tyler and a very nice tech with the red beard did a great job. . The customer service and follow up from the management team sucks! Very disappointing!!!!! The company does not communicate with each other which creates unnecessary frustration for the customer. This was by far the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Danielle needs training! She lacks a pleasant attitude and knowledge. Customer service is the face of any company so I will just pray for this one. I don’t have to spend my money with this company.

ADT is the worse! I changed to command panel December 2019. I was able to talk to Alexa on the panel. The blueish green line came across i asked her to change thermostat, the date, etc. Then about a week ago i tried and she is no longer there. I only upgraded to this panel for ring doorbell and Alexa. I paid $237 for installation and my monthly rate increased almost $25. Now of course i signed i think 3 yr contract and they would hold me to it or pay if changed but yet they didnt hold to what they promised and reason i upgraded. I was told by tech that ADT and alexa split june 2020 and i was lucky to have it as long as i did. Well then why is Alexa still on panel and voice command shows Alexa. I feel cheated by ADT and want some refund. I will see if ADT comes thru. I doubt it.

I cannot stress how impressed I was with my installation process. Andrew and Joe were simply perfect--truly. Joe made the best of a tough camera installation without an ounce of complaint. Even updating my order on the fly. Andrew was exceptionally patient. Andrew went through each room with me with recommendations and patiently waited as I texted my wife pictures of our ideas for how wed set up the system. It significantly increased his timeline, but he was great about the entire experience. It would have been easy to stand around and wait for us to make a decision, but Andrew continued to offer his expertise on a myriad of ways to position the sensors giving us more options than we could count. Kim was easily the most thorough rep Ive ever worked with, and her tenacity and flexibility are second to none. She continually looked out for us as at every turn and was always a phone call away. This entire experience was absolutely wonderful, and Kim, Andrew and Joe are the examples ADT want representing their company. I couldnt be more pleased with this experience.

After 3 hours on the line with corporate I still don’t have access to the AP for my system and they had to send a technician out for my main home to resolve that issue.They lied and told me my call would be escalated to an emergency and someone would come right out only to call me the next day and schedule a time for me.

I would like to speak on Sade’, one of the most amazing sales representative I have met in a long time. Sade’ has been apart of my life from the beginning of installation on the actual install date not only did the tech come out but I got to meet Sade’ in person to make sure everything was going well and even going beyond by get breakfast for the tech. It doesn’t stop there I was part of government shutdown Sade’ made sure I was able to get on a payment plan and any way Sade’ could save me a penny she did. When my bill was incorrect I called Sade’ and things got straightened out. Sade’ has reached out just to make sure I’m good and that is going way above and beyond and I appreciate and I am very thankful and ADT should be honored to have Sade’ on their team.

First, please be aware that this review is for ADT Corporate not an ADT Dealer and yes there is a difference. When most people contact ADT sales they will most likely be talking with an authorized dealer and NOT corporate. Based on my experience when you contact a dealer its caveat emptor. Although dealers can offer you better deals more often than not youre going to pay more in the end. After a REALLY bad experience with a dealer (Defenders), ADT Corporate came to my rescue. Months after I had sunk a lot of money into a system I could not use, Kim Cainion of ADT Corporate sales heard about my situation from a colleague at another security company and immediately contacted me to see if she could make things right: she did just that! I now have the functional system I paid for at a monthly rate that is reasonable. To put icing on the cake, the service tech that reactivated my system was a jewel. Carlton was extremely professional and courteous. When faced with some unique challenges that stemmed from the previous cancellation of my service, he kept a positive attitude while keeping me informed and managing my expectations. In the end, his awesome technical ability surmounted the challenges and he provided me with a fully functioning system.....all the way down to the Ring doorbell which apparently is no longer an ADT installed product due to the termination of their partnership with Ring. Carlton also noticed that my automated door lock was not operating properly and made necessary adjustments including changing out the batteries; the issue wasnt noticible to us until we saw the difference after he fixed it!!! I truly wish ADT Corporate would have been the sales team I originally contacted; I would not have had to go almost a year without my home being secured. The saying that what you dont know wont hurt you is absolutely not true in this case....not knowing that ADT used authorized dealers, some of whose practices are questionable, caused me harm in lost time and increased risk concern for months. Im so thankful that because of Kim and Carlton I didnt lose my investment too.

The technician assigned to address my issue with my ADT equipment today was Chris Hames. His service was outstanding, beginning with the courtesy call he made to me letting me know he was on his way. When he arrived he promptly and appropriately identified himself. Chris was very professional, very knowledgeable, and very patient with explaining and demonstrating answers to all of our questions. Before leaving, he ascertained beyond any doubt that our ADT equipment and services had been completely restored and fully functional!‹

WORST COMPANY ON EARTH !!! . I do not know who is giving them 4.7 stars, if it is up to me I can call everybody and ask them, I am continuosly having problems with ADT Commercial for about 2 years BEFORE that almost 2 1/2 years with used to be PROTECTION 1 and they still cannot get it fixed, they work at a Tortoise speed when your cameras are down and every time it takes them more than a month OR 6 weeks to order cameras. I am on a service contract for 4 1/2 years now and I wasted so much time keep calling them and then keep calling the Headquarters in Kansas city, they are nice people but they do not have any control over Atlanta local office. Only thing they can do is send them an email. In the first year I had problems because they did not put INSULATION on the wire going into the cameras & water was getting in, then I am always been having loss of signal coming into my DVR, It took them 2 years to figure out that wires are too long & that is why I am losing signal strength, since first installer put the wires naked up on the roof so after 2 years they starting to get cracks & break then it took them long time to rewire & cameras started to go out one at a time, Water was still getting in some cameras because of weak insulation & it took them in some cases 2 months to order the cameras. Just this Jan 2020 they put some kind of BOOSTER and POE switches in only 4 cameras & left 2 more cameras to keep suffering. This morning I had a service call at 8 a.m. to rewire the rest of 2 cameras with new cameras & booster after 6 months for the job they started in Jan, so I got up early and came here at 10.45 because I knew they were doing outside wiring first but nobody was here, I got shocked because nobody calls me it has been almost a month and CS told me last week that they will have new cameras with them, I called CS & left a message for Local service manager to call me at about 11.30 a.m. or so but all day is gone but NO PHONE CALL because they do not care about their customers. IN SHORT TRUST ME ..... DO NOT GIVE THEM SERVICE CONTRACT FOR CAMERAS & U WILL BE STUCK FOR 5 YEARS LIKE ME. FIND SOME OTHER COMPANY, I can write MORE pages of my VERY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH COMMERCIAL ATLANTA ADT BUT JUST TRUST ME, I WISH I CAN GIVE THEM ZERO STAR BECAUSE I DO NOT WANT TO GIVE THEM 1 STAR EITHER. .................... ........ BEFORE they left the site they do not even bother calling me and letting me know that I do not have to come and waste my time, I am a business man & a property owner, they know I got other business to handle too besides sitting here all day waiting for them to call me back............ I AM SATISFIED WITH THE ALARM SIDE OF ADT !!Now I am stuck here for 10 hours today since THEY DO NOT CARE, I am a DIABETIC & I ate breakfast in a rush and got ready in a rush so I can meet them here but NOBODY was here ..................... I recently had the pleasure of Kim Cainion’s assistance with transferring ADT alarm monitoring service from one residential location to another. Kim expertly guided this complicated process by communicating with a number of different departments and coordinating the installation. Kim also reviewed my account and was able to price-match a competitor that we were using at the transfer location.In addition, Kim was always available when I need with speak with her and I didn’t have to navigate an automated phone system in order to get in touch. This personal, one-on-one interaction provided a level of customer support that I feel a lot of big companies are missing. For this reason I’m going to be transferring additional properties to ADT when their contracts expire. Thank you, Kim! I truly appreciate it!

I did not know ADT had health alert systems. I purchased a system for my grandmother recently because she lives alone, and loves her independence. I was very worried about her being alone, mainly because she had hearing problems. ADT’s health alert system is really loud so she’s able to hear, and she has a really cool sleek watch that she wears. The system and the watch will alert police or ambulance in the event of an emergency. Last year she slipped in her kitchen, and hurt her feet so bad she couldn’t get up, she was there for hours until a neighbor came by to help her :( My family felt really bad, because she was unable to call us. We didn’t know she was hurt. I wish I knew ADT offered this last year, but it’s not too late. I’m so thankful for the sales rep Mr. Kris Goodson for recommending this for my Granmother. He took his time explaining all of the features and even came to install it for us. My family is able to sleep at night knowing our grandmother has a sense of security and still able to maintain her independence.

I am appalled at the poor customer service! Avoid this company! I knew I would be moving within a year of setting up this service, and the sales person who setup the service assured me multiple times that I would be able to cancel my service for a nominal fee when I moved — I clarified numerous times that day, to make sure I wouldn’t be on the hook for a lot of money when it was time to move. Now that we’re moving I’m told there’s no way I can get out of the contract unless I pay OVER $1,000!?!? Even when I explained that I was basically lied to, I was told “so sorry, it’s company policy.” So it’s company policy to lie to customers? Even if I did want to transfer service to a new address, I have zero interest in being an ADT customer ever again. Worst customer service. I’m telling everyone I know to avoid ADT, because all they want is money, not loyal customers. Lost my faith in humanity a little bit over this. Very poor.
