Good store, staff. I made the mistake of buying the Apple iphone. It was too techy for me. Android is sufficient for me. After I forgot my password and got my account locked for 15 days, bull. I miss the nickel, dime, quarter rotary-dial phones.😃

All of the positive reviews that you guys are reading about this place are correct. I have a Comcast store right down the street where I live in Douglasville, but chose to drive all the way downtown to this store for the customer service. Kevin Pettaway the manager of the store greeted me with a smile and wanted to know my issue and how he could help. He told me to follow him over to Ryan Jones another great employee there and told him that I was not to leave until I was satisfied and he also wanted to know everything that was done to make sure that I was. They took care of my issue in 15 minutes and apologized numerous times for the issue and the wait. I would definitely drive an hour away again for service like that. Your other locations can learn a lot from this crew.

It was great, really. I went in to exchange a gateway. Waited just a couple minutes. They swapped it out, no questions asked, upgraded the model without my even asking. No one tried to sell me anything or suggest I upgrade my service or anything. Just in and out, new gateway, easy.

My boyfriend and I had came to pick up a wifi box we had bought the night before online. Some crazy traffic and a moving day that was already long enough had us worried we wouldn’t get there before they closed and be left wifi-less another day. They helped us within 10 minutes of closing and were so nice about it. The service was quick and they got us together in less than 5 minutes, thank you!

This store is the 2nd best Xfinity representation that Ive experienced. They sent a tech to my home (Anthony), he was actually AMAZING but the phone customer service is HORRIBLE and they (Xfinity) charge WWAAYYY to much for the service, the internet has NEVER worked 24 straight hours in a row.

I was annoyed to be required to go in versus handle this on the phone. After a wait, due partially to inefficiencies, the manager kept telling me service was already disconnected in 2019. I told him at least three times that he was talking about cable and I was there about cell phone service before he listened to me and seems to have closed the account. Im not confident

Pandemic review- they are not playing games in here. Wear your mask and probably even some gloves if you want better service.you have to go in first and put your name on a list. Then wait outside until they are ready to serve you.they send you everything that you need to read & to your phone so that you do not have to touch a thing in there. I dont have a problem with their system and the only reason why I give it a 3 is because the wait is long and I actually had problems with my internet service but not any problems with the people working in the store. It is the nicest and most efficient Xfinity store Ive ever been in.

Top notch service. I went to turn in equipment left by my apartment previous tenant and to pick up my equipment. Unfortunately, they were out. I was told that they would be getting some in this morning. I returned earlier than the suggested time, and in less that 5 minutes I was out the door, equipment in hand. Great job Angela and crew!

I want to say a special thank you to Bruce for being super patient and helpful! We were dealing with a move and some account changes that were a little chaotic, and he was exceptional. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming, and I really appreciated the efforts of COVID safety. There was the classicplexiglass and mask requirements, but there was also someone regularly walking through the store sanitizing surfaces and even clearing the air with some lysol - above and beyond! Overall, this is some of the best customer service in any cell/internet/etc store I’ve been in, and it meant a lot considering how stressful everything felt before I went into the store.

TERRIBLE PEOPLE TERRIBLE COMPANY. They gave me the highest possible rate for SUCH a simple service. Took advantage of a first time customer, do not use this service if you do not have to, not worth the money or hassle. They never answer the phone and when they told me they changed my service to a cheaper one that was the EXACT same thing they STILL charged me full price!Also: Freddie white that works in the Decatur Xfinity location made sure to give me the worst deal on the books.. shouldn’t be a sales rep. Took advantage of me.

I have had Comcast for the past two years and have been very satisfied. My two year contract expired and I called to inquire about a new plan. First of all, being able to speak to a live agent is nearly IMPOSSIBLE. When I DID get a live agent I was told that I could get the same plan that I had before for a discounted price of $113.03 per month with a two year contract. I was happy with that and gave the go ahead. The following day I noticed that the shows I had set to record, from the ID channel did not record. After two and a half hours of trying to reach a live agent and attempting to use the chat and live chat, to no avail, the live agent informed me that the plan I previously had was no longer available so they gave me a different plan that was similar to my old plan. The problem was the new plan had 15 fewer channels, including the ID channel, which I was not told. So after two days and over five hours spent on the phone, I was still left paying the same I was paying the past two years for 15 less channels.

Save yourself from this company! Two years ago I made the mistake of taking them up on inexpensive, same as Verizon, service and ported my number over to Xfinity. That process was a disaster trying to save the 3,000 odd personal and work contact numbers I had in my phone. Finally a saintly Verizon rep saved me. I also tried one of the new larger format phones (against my own misgivings as I am a bit clumsy). Sure enough, a couple of months into service I broke the phone but I always buy insurance. But when I told them I didnt want the same phone, but an older, smaller one, I was told only that phone or a newer one that was actually larger. Or I could use my own phone and receive a check for the difference - so I did bring in my original to this store to have them put my number back into it and activate it. They sent me a check for several hundred dollars. I verified I still had insurance on my old phone because my clumsy knows no size.Flash forward and I cracked the screen on my phone. $30 deductible covers that repair, right? Ive been paying $12 for 20 months or so for that. But they say my phone is the previous new broken phone and my current phone is not covered. They PAID me for the broken phone, programmed my replacement phone and activated it but made no record of the different phone. OK, maybe mistakes happen so just give me my money back. No. Not giving money back not repairing phone. Just blatantly going to take your money. Wont even go into the 3 days of arguing, management escalation, hours on hold and near embolism my blood pressure almost caused!So Im leaving. Go back to Verizon, have a pleasant process moving my number back until they ask for m,y Xfinity PIN number - I dont have one. Cant port service without the PIN number. Nowhere - nothing on Xfinity Website about a PIN number except the Voice Mail PIN, Parental PIN and a couple others that have nothing to do with mobile service. Their Chat Bot is worthless even if it did know what you wanted to find out. Call Customer Service and their automated services deliver you nowhere and then hang up. A search for Customer Service Number on their site gets me a number to some hospital in Phoenix! Seriously, I find this number in multiple places on their site - not easily mind you - and it goes to a hospital in Az. I tried Tech Support and another hour on hold to finally get to a person who transferred me to mobile support - hold again - and then finally someone who tells me I do not have a PIN, they issue it when anyone wants port away a number. The only way to get it, is apparently through hell the same way I did.So I give the number to Verizon who accepts it and says my new service will start in less than 24 hours. 24 hours later no service, go back to the store, 30 minutes on hold with their tech support, who calls Xfinity Tech Sup[port for another 45 minutes on hold to find out IT TAKES THREE DAYS TO PORT A NUMBER FROM XFINITY TO VERIZON. Xfinity is a Verizon reseller - though not the entire network I found out too late. Maybe only 3/4 and apparently governed down. But THREE DAYS. Xfinity is like a a bad nightmare that wont go away. I tried to stop the auto pay to my credit card and you cant delete it. The credirt card company cant stop payment on one vendor and would have to cancel my whole card. IT IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Please, under no circumstance use this company.

When I first first move in to my apartment, my😆 daughters sign me up this cable company. I been with them since 2015, I enjoy every moment of my movie that provides in my package, they have discounts for😉 seniors, plus they close to my resident where I live, walking distance, love that. Nice company, great staffs. So if u in the area, stop in there and check them out, get the hookup and watch u some good movies many other programs that comes with the package! I cant necessarily say that I was a disgruntled customer with Xfinity by Comcast internet service. I will say that for any actions needed to be changed on your account during this pandemic is near or close to Impossible dealing with changes via the phone, web and customer service lines. My issue was to try and cancel my account. First attempt online failed and charge me one more month on my account. Second attempt through phone line and called 10 times to speak to someone over the phone all attempts failed. Third attempt was through instant message through the app redirecting me to call and of course no messages were able to be left and each time I tried the phone line hung up on me automatically. The only and finally option I have whats a visit the store and have someone cancel my account directly. It is going on the 14th day and I still have not gotten my refund from the two months I was charged automatically drafted from my account. I am very displeased with this company ask to the amount of frustration and numbers of attempts made to cancel my service. Handling anything to do with changes to your account it is best to do it in person at one of these stores or it wont get handled at all. Lesson learned but I will no longer desire any products from this company. The gentleman at the store was pleasant and agreeable to my frustration but the heat coming off my body from the rage and frustration point could not be calmed.

I do not like Xfinity and I hate that they they are the best option for my area. That being said the person who helped us in the store was very friendly and got us in and out with what we needed very quickly.Xfinity may be turning things around a little bit, but they will never get there completely until they have transparent and steady billing practices. Their variable fees are absurd.

If you are looking to pick up an installation kit dont bother wasting your time. They only have modems available for people looking to upgrade to their Extreme plan. Also theres no way to call and check or no way to confirm if other locations have the kit. So youll just have to waste gas and go on a wild goose chase for a kit that may or may not be available.

We have had 3 routers in 3 months of service. We have gone to this location a few times and mostly people are kind; however, this last time, we told the gentleman that we needed yet another router and before we could even finish explaining he jumps in with his pitch and suggest to us that if we upgrade our product we might actually get our internet to work. When I cut in to say that I didnt think it was right for us to have to pay an upgrade fee to have our service work he put his hand up and said Let me finish what I have to say. Cutting out all the extra, I dont think that when a customer comes in with a problem for an already premium service that the first thing said should be, oh well if you just give us some more money... Get better sales people at your store.

I have never dealt with a worse company in my whole life. All their employees seem to be trained to do everything possible to cheat the customers and unfairly charge them. I have been a customer for about a week now and have spoken to at least six different managers and representative; every single one of them gave me different information about the same topic. Because of the poor customer service from the very beginning, multiple managers promised to waive my first bill. It was not waived. The rep I spoke to about it admitted there is no one in the whole company that can do what was promised to me by multiple people. They also kept trying to charge me the $60 professional installation fee when the current promotion is to have the fee waived for new customers. only after talking to four people and spending over two hours on the phone was the fee waived as promised to all new customers during that time period. If you have better options than Comcast I suggest taking your business there even if it costs a bit more. I plan on switching as soon as a decent company that is affordable provides services in my area. Do not waste your time with this unethical company.

I dont know why there are so many bad reviews.. But for me, it been a hassle-free transactions. I activate my xfinity mobile this month and port over 3 numbers and all them seen to be no problems. All phone on the website is available there for purchase, no need to wait for order to ship or arrive. In and out within a hours with 3 line active and start using. Me, mom and wife is happy.
