They have things no one else has. Found stuff couldnt find elsewhere... bracket needed to install outside light, cap for outside stovepipe, screws, even clothes (shirt, sunglasses, boots), etc. Learned go here first! Plus staff is super Helpful, Friendly, & knowledgeable! So much better to patronize local businesses vs big box stores! Best part is they have stuff that big box stores dont have or are out of stock of!!

Such a great gift giving selection! I stopped by for a last minute party gift amd the women went to the back to find a bag and cute tissue paper and even assisted helping to get the price tags removed. This is why shopping local makes all the difference!

Professional sales staff, we knew what we wanted and the appliance center had it in stock. We purchased the Speed Queen washer and dryer off the floor. We experienced damage to an angled Maple step each time the appliance dolly was used to and from the upstairs laundry. Four separate gashes on the nosing of the step. Our report included photos and explanation. Our complaint was received both verbally and by email. There was never a follow up or return call. I’m a professional woodworker, my custom home is a woodworking marvel. I will repair that damage, I would never allow another to attempt repair in this home. I am disappointed my complaint was ignored. I will follow this no further. You might suggest more caution to your delivery staff.

When you were a little kid dad would take you to the hardware store with him and together both of you would gather up the nails, screws and braces you needed to finish your class project. And the crew at Home Hardware made sure to help you. Now, those are what makes a good store part of the community.

Incredibly helpful staff!! I needed to reverse the ball orientation on my hitch. This would have cost me about $90 in tools that I wouldn’t need after the one use. They let me borrow an old set and I got the job done in the parking lot. Highly recommend!!

Great selection here. The man who assisted me quickly and enthusiastically helped me Macgyver together my busted fertilizer injector. Along the way he was full of tips for making it solid and water-tight under pressure. I can see how this place has survived on the same street as a Home Depot. Support this business.

Not impressed with the appliance service department. Dryer repair lasted less than 3 month @ $154 and now find out labor is only a 30 day warranty. When I mentioned its cheaper to buy a new dryer I was told okay, I understand. Let us know if you change your mind. Home Depot here I come.

You can find just about anything that you are looking for here, or they will find it for you. Very sweet and helpful staff. For a small store, I am usually pleasantly surprised by the good prices. We try to shop here whenever possible. The only downside are their hours. For some reason there have been a number of times where I needed something last minute for the house, but they are closed and I am forced to go to home Depot instead.

UPDATED: Over the past couple years, we have purchased a washer & dryer, a bedroom set, and most recently a refrigerator. We have always had great experiences until the most recent purchase. Weve worked with both Paul and Rob on the sales side and they were wonderful. Ron has always helped make the deliveries and he is also wonderful. When he delivered our fridge he noticed the doors were damaged. He didnt try to hide it, instead he notified the office right away. Here is where the problems began and why Ive changed my rating to 1 star. The service department is an absolute joke. It took FIVE MONTHS for them to finally replace our damaged fridge doors. We were initially told they were ordered. Then a month later told they needed more information to order them. The amount of runaround we got is pitiful. Then, when they finally replaced our doors, they disconnected the light in our freezer and did not turn it back on. When we called to get someone out to fix it, we were told by Mary that she would get ahold of someone and call us back the next day. She did not. We called her days later and she told us he might be there Monday at 3 but I cant guarantee it. That is terrible customer service.I have trusted Ron to be in our home even when we werent present because that is the type of person he is....but I would not trust any of the people in charge of answering the phones, updating customers, and scheduling the services. That section of the store needs serious work. I really hope you can make improvements because it is important to us to buy local but you are making it difficult.

They have everything!

This store and its legacy is an Ashland treasure.

They are good with personal and business transactions - timely, helpful and always have the parts and products that I cannot find anywhere else. However, oddly, with 2 transactions on behalf of non-profit organizations - one a church and the other another non-profit org - they were EXTREMELY late with delivery, promised in 2 weeks but it took almost 2 months and then the installation had all kinds of problems. And for the other, items were back-ordered and then the back-order was back-ordered. I am not saying that this is an overall pattern but strange that it happened twice with me. I give them 5 for the former and only a 1 for the latter so averages to a 3.

In a word...SERVICE! I cant say enough good about this business. I was hooked years ago when Mike Ringler took me to the workbench to help me replace the handle on my splitting mull. I just came for a part, but he helped me complete the repair! Sure, some of their prices may be a bit higher than other places, but youll never get that kind of service anywhere else.The other day I actually went to start looking for a new dishwasher. The employee (who I will leave unnamed for fear of repercussions for not making a sale...Lol) actually directed me to a cleaning agent that fixed my problem. He literally walked me from the appliance building to the other building to show me exactly what to get...talk about service!!Im really excited to see the changes underway by the new ownership. They are also great people who desire to serve our community. Im excited to see them build on this successful business with positive momentum for the future.I highly recommend and encourage supporting this great asset to our community!!

My parents purchased two very expensive lazy boy recliners in 2017. Soon after my mother passed away and I was given the recliner. I needed the paperwork to show for a warranty issue. I called four times and was told the invoice would be emailed to me. NEVER HEARD OR SEEN IT!

When this place was under the name home hardware, I was looking at some corkcicle canteens. The 25 ounce ran around $37 before tax. Im glad I was a little short and couldnt get the canteen I originally wanted because I wouldve regretted it later as it wouldve been money out the window 💸 because when I came home, I found that same exact item online for only $23.99 and its authentic. No tax, free shipping. It pays to shop online 📲. I personally use eBay for nearly everything shippable. When shopping on eBay, youll need a PayPal account and with PayPal, an active credit or debit card. That way, when you check out, its smooth and seamless. The better a customer or you are, the higher your rating will become. This requires being able to actually pay for your items instantly and have them successfully shipped to you. Prevent porch pirates from stealing your packages by staying home and tracking your packages. Happy shopping!👏😃👍
