Jack, the owner of auto fitness in Ashland is very knowledgeable. He was willing to check out our vehicle with almost no notice as we were traveling to Canada from Columbus. We heard a sudden rattle, stopped by his shop, and he took care of us with honesty and proficiency. I would highly recommend his shop to anyone who needs auto service.

Im not sure how this place has has received the reviews it does from anyone. Here are a list of problems that I had with him over the course of a MONTH:1.) Initially took two weeks for my car to be fixed, the first week I called to check about it and he had literally ONLY started the car then followed to ask me what I thought was wrong with the car (when he is the mechanic?)2.) Went to get the car on week two. The car experienced the same problems AFTER A WEEK of it being fixed.3.) I called and left him a voicemail about the issue, a couple days after we go in to see him sitting in the office to which he told us he had received the message and didnt call back (when he is supposedly too busy with everything).4.) Left the car with him for about five more days to resolve the issue fully, he tried calling me one day after and telling me it was some hose and to come get it. He explained he had no hesitation when driving it and it ran perfectly, I had him keep it for the extra days to be positive it was fixed.5.) Go to get it and upon start up it still had the check engine light on immediately (as it did when delivered the second time). I drove two miles down the road to Mifflin and 42 and the first stop it comes out of it misfires/hesitates and almost shuts off.He tried explaining that the time that it took to work on it was due to him firing an employee, but several actions lead me to believe it was just his unprofessionalism and lack of knowledge of vehicles to take a month to not do the job right. He did offer for me to bring it to him a third time, but I dont have another month to wait for my car to not be fixed so I am going to pay another shop to fix my vehicle. I could probably have it done cheaper than 370 dollars and have it fixed correctly that way. You can do what you want, but I would avoid this facility.
