I had a very good experience purchasing a 2014 Toyota Prius C from this Koons location because of Paul Diberardino. He was very good to work with from test drive & throughout the process. He ensured that all the terms of the deal were completed. This included bodywork so he arranged a loaner car during this time for me (a brand new Prius which I loved). The car is exactly what I was looking for at a fair price even when used cars are supposed to be so expensive. I would recommend working with Paul when you wish to purchase a new car.

My first time ever leaving a bad review, Horrible!!!They are money hungry here if you ask any question about there vehicles as far as cosmetic, ETC, the sales rep would immediately brush off your question and say what’s important is that the car is mechanically running good, if I am asking a question about a vehicle, it is your job to answer my question I am the buyer you are not I need to know what I am getting myself into prior to purchasing a vehicle!!!! I transparently feel like the sales rep tried to take advantage of me because I am a young lady and did not expect I was going to ask as many questions prior to purchasing a vehicle, to make his end of the day commission!! Which would had been oh so great for him!!The manager belittled me and tried to pressure and intimidate me into making a decision that would be financially favorable for Koons. He would treat me like I was incompetent by continuing to explain in different ways the same offers which i had already understood.The sales rep name is CARLTON I had a very unprofessional horrific experience with CARLTON! He was so loud as if he was calling for attention so another sales rep would hear, Which another sales rep did bump in and quietly whispered another vehicle so that CARLTON would look it up on the computer to show me the VehicleAt the end of the day I did not end up buying the vehicle which they were highly upset about and did not give me the same energy as they gave me when I walked in. instead, they mugged the heck out of me it was very uncomfortable as I was walking out and did not say nothing at all to me!! it was the worstexperience that I have ever had at a dealer!!Koons Used Arlington, stop sugar coating that you love my ethnicity as well. That will not still make me buy a car from you.

I had a great experience purchasing my used car. Michael Blocker, and his trainee Martin, were nothing but courteous and attentive. After a long drive from Richmond, everything Id been told and read online about my car was spot on with what I saw in person. They were even willing to take my unannounced trade-in, a decrepit old Subaru, off my hands for what I thought it was worth.The reason I took away a star is because I had to wait for a finance coordinator for well over an hour and a half. I waited in air-conditioned comfort, and Martin waited with me, after hed taken care of the car details (fueling, washing, tags, etc.), but it was a long wait. Apparently, Saturday afternoon is a busy time to buy a car. Once inside the finance office, everything went smooth and I was on the road in 20 minutes.When my family is in the market for another vehicle, we will definitely check Koons website!

I had great help and it was managed great with nice people. The only reason I gave a 4 out of 5 is I had recently had surgery and had called ahead so they would be prepared for me so I could get out as soon as possible. Then when I showed up they had half of the paper work ready but not the financial forms ready so I had to sit for about an hour waiting for the financial person to get to me. Sitting normally wouldn’t have bothered me but right after surgery it was painful and uncomfortable. Other then that one thing I really enjoyed my experience.

Tony helped us have a great experience buying our used car.Edit - the car had a minor oil leak 32 days after we bought it from a faulty oil change performed at Koons prior to purchase. The car is fine, and Im glad the oil leak was minor. There was oil on the driveway, and oil dripping from the bottom of the vehicle when I checked underneath. The dipstick showed an ok oil level. I called to say we received our registration several weeks after purchase and mentioned the oil leak and was asked, who told you the car was leaking oil? The question and tone were inappropriate in context. I recommend that anyone who buys a used car take it to a mechanic they trust for evaluation. We didnt buy any extended warranties and I had no expectation that Koons would cover this. My edit would have been closer to the original review had I not been questioned whether or not my car was leaking oil.

I been trying to reach management for two weeks about a problem. I told them the A/C wasn’t working right during the test drive. I have no problem with the service department but they can’t do anything until upper management gives them permission and I can’t get a return call from the used car management after leaving countless voicemails for the last two weeks. I would not recommend to spend your hard earned money with the used car dealership of koons of Arlington.

I purchased a used vehicle from this car dealership a few days ago and I am completely satisfied with the purchase and service provided by my car salesperson, John. Before arriving he told us that the vehicle was available for purchase and to ask for him once we arrived. A hour later we met John but was also met with the news that someone else was about to purchase the same vehicle I inquired about. John asked if I could wait, just in case the other party’s deal fell apart and it coincidentally did! We signed the paperwork, and went through financing in a matter of 60 mins. I even didnt have the full down payment available at the moment but the dealership was willing to let me pick up the vehicle the next evening with no hassles at all! The stigma of “taking all day” to buy a car is nonsense! As long as you go see John at Koons Arlington Toyota!

I was not in the market for another vehicle, however, life happens. While searching on the internet for a vehicle that was within by budget, I came across a Honda Pilot that was appealing. I called the dealership and was greeted by Mr. Manderville. He invited me to come for a test drive, see the vehicle and when I did arrive, he was just as friendly and professional. I left with the Honda as well as a better deal than what my personal credit union offered. I will definitely return to Koons Arlington Used Cars for future purchases! I recently purchased a used car from the Koons Arlington Toyota Used Car outlet. My experience there was absolutely horrible. When I was first purchasing my car the finance person lied to me about how much the extended warranty on my car would be. My boyfriend was there and we both were there to witness him tell us our total amount for the extended warranty would be $1,500. We asked for him to review all of the charges with us thoroughly but he brushed over it. Later after everything was done when I was reviewing the paperwork, I saw that the total amount for the extended warranty totaled to $4,000. I went into the office to cancel it 4 days later and this same finance person was incredibly rude. He asked me why I wanted to cancel the warranty and I said Sir I just want to cancel and he responded saying my response was rude and I could fill out the paperwork myself. So I was sent outside of his office and I filled out the paperwork. Then once I was done and went back because I needed some more information, he tried to justify his actions and convince me to not cancel. I reiterated I just wanted to cancel and he again accused me of being rude and said I should leave his office and finish the process out in the lobby so I did. Im glad that I was able to get this cancellation form signed. I will absolutely not be recommending anyone to this Koons location ever. I hope the other locations dont allow similar practices or behaviors.Edit: Four weeks later, I followed up about my warranty since my principal balance was not updated and it turns out this dealership never filed the cancellation paperwork and so then I had to call toyotas corporate office and all the warranty holders to ensure that the policies were finally cancelled. Completely unprofessional.

Tony Nunez was very friendly a little pushy but very nice for the most part. The financing department is very slow had to go up to the new dealer lot to finish paperwork. I live in Maryland so after everything was done and trying to finalize my inspection and get my tags the communication for the dealer or anyone from the dealership wqs scarce. They barely returned messages and dragged their feet on everything. It was like now that the sale was done they wanted nothing to do with me to finish their end of the commitment made.

Well, let me start by saying this ... Tony is an awesomely sneaky son of a gun. What do I mean by that, throw the usual shmarmy antics of typical “used” cars saleman, and the pass around to this manager and that manager, out the window. If you want that, go somewhere else. If you want a relaxed, informative, and easy going car purchase, Tony is the man to see. Hs is sneaky because he doesn’t make you feel like your sitting around, waiting for awful or good news. He takes the anxiety out of the buying process. Now, they will give the occasional blurb about how they don’t negotiate pricing because Carmax doesn’t and blame Carmax. Well, ignore that... the truth is you will get a good deal and great treatment. I don’t care if your credit is terrible, they will treat you like you have a perfect score and that is where it counts. We sold a car and traded in another and ended up leaving with a great loan, an even better interest rate than what we had on our trade in, and a gorgeous vehicle. Those gentlemen (Oleg included), did a fantastic job. I don’t think you could do better elsewhere. They told me on our way out the door to promise to buy only Toyota from now on, while I can’t guarantee that, I for sure can say we will be loyal Koon’s customers for as long as we live in the area. So if you are in the market, or nervous about your situation, I urge you to reach out to Tony and the team there. They will take care of you. Thanks Tony, Oleg, and the entire Koon’s used car dealership team. We are so grateful and thankful for the beautiful Tacoma we now call ours.

The worst place ever. They wanted us to get an old car with two accidents while refusing to show us the car that they promised to initially. They made us go all the way to the dealership promising us to show one car. Even when I called up on my way they said both cars were available and on reaching they said it had sold off like an hour back. Which clearly was hard to believe.They were terribly rude and definitely do not recommend this place to anyone. Especially the guy named Paul.

TERRIBLE. Don’t bother coming here to trade or sell your vehicle — they’ll just waste your time. Carvanna and CarMax offer more.They reached out to me after I priced my car on KBB, I told them upfront I had a $16k offer from Carvanna, and they said they could beat it. When I arrived they agreed the car was in perfect condition, and then offered only $14k. Complete waste of my time! Why lie to me just to get me in? Pathetic.

I visited Koons used cars to look for a newer car. My experience from the beginning wasn’t very pleasant. The sales team seemed to only care about selling the car and would tell you what you want to hear to make the sale. I ended up purchasing a car but it was a headache more than a happy feeling. I would not recommend this dealership. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the experience I was hoping for walking into a car dealership to buy a car. They do not value their customers. To say the least, the manager was not a great person to talk to when I had issues with my car/papers documents. He was very rude and spoke with attitude.

DO NOT GO THERE!!!! We went to look at a truck we liked . And decided we wanted to purchase it . While we where filling out the application papers, they where showing the exact same (it was the only truck there) truck to another couple. They had them ALSO fill out and submit an application for the SAME truck. It was very unprofessional and very uncomfortable. They ran our credit for nothing and proceeded with the other couple, saying they couldn’t find ANY Lender for us. Which is funny cause we went to a different dealer and got a Brand new, more expensive truck for a better deal and with a LENDER . Sooooooo I’m thinking they lied to us, and gave the offer to the other couple for what ever reason. Don’t go there if you don’t want to be scammed .

The parking lot is small and cramped. The sales staff was very professional, and even though I wanted to negotiate a bit more my friends got a decent price on an SUV. I believe the cash purchase helped speed things along, but it was still over an hour. So, maybe streamline that process a bit more @Koons. Overall, it was a good experience.

Very unsafe. Many of the employees not wearing masks all the way. Salesman left us with someone else, never told us there was only one set of keys for new car. Sold us on built in navigation but is missing the 200 dollar sd card so it does not work. I do not look forward to other things they omitted. I give a 2 star because pricing is better than most places, no haggle. I am starting to think it is that way because they are scamming you on the little things anyways. I do not recommend.

What was introduced to me today was someone with arrogance and a nonprofessional. They dont follow COVID-19 protocol, they make promises they do not keep, they continuously feed you lies, you have to call and email the entire team to get one simple question answered. Terrible after sales service. When buying a new car I also purchased a prepaid maintenance package which I wanted to cancel the week after. Four months later I am still waiting for a full refund. Also the APR on a car loan I was offered here was way higher than what I got from my credit union. The only upside was that they helped me get a decent offer on car insurance.

I came in to test drive a car while being explicit with the sales person that I wasn’t planning on buying the car immediately. I asked for number estimates and was told I needed to “put my information in” to receive a quote. As I was filling out my information and their system was asking for my social security number, I asked if I was submitting an application for credit and told them I wasn’t planning on buying the car yet and didn’t need to put in an application yet. The sales person reassured me that it was just to get numbers, not to apply for credit. I asked if it was going to do a hard inquiry on my credit unnecessarily and I was reassured 4 times that would not happen. After I finished putting my information in, I got an alert from experian saying a hard inquiry was run. I asked to speak to the manager after being very clearly lied to and the manager blamed it on his employee being “new and inexperienced.” After I told the manager that I was leaving, he had the credit application I had just filled out printed With my FULL social security number printed on it and nothing censored out and it clearly said “credit application” across the top. He asked me to sign a sheet of paper “authorizing The credit inquiry” even though I already told him I wasn’t interested in the car or doing business with them. I asked to take the papers with me since my social security number was fully printed on the paper and they had lied to me multiple times. He tried to take the paper from me and refused to let me have MY information and still wanted me to sign a sheet of paper authorizing a credit application for a car I explicitly said I WAS NOT BUYING. Overall, the manager and the sales employee added to the stereotypical sleazy used car salesman. Way too pushy and shady for me to ever recommend them to anyone else. Beware that if they ask you to “fill out your information for a quote” that you are in fact applying for credit from their finance department as if you are committed to the car already - before even showing any pricing.

Way too careless about customer service and basic consideration, even for a car dealer.1. Made me go there to see a car they did not have. Called to ask about a car on a Monday. Scheduled visit for Saturday. Called again Saturday to confirm the car was there, which they did. The car wasn’t.2. Did not allow my mechanic to do a prepurchase inspection. Second visit (Sunday night) and the car was there. It had damage reported in carfax. I ask if I could get the car inspected ASAP in their place and committed to buy as soon as the mechanic rules out any major problem. They asked me to delay it until Wednesday. Arranged the mechanic visit for Wednesday. Call to confirm and they told me there was people going to see the car next day and I better buy it. Rearranged the mechanic to go ASAP. Dealer did not coordinate with mechanic. Mechanic arrives Tuesday morning, after waiting some time due to other clients seeing the car. Starts inspection and dealer asks him to stop because other people want to see the car. The mechanic has to go. The day after there is a lot of lack of coordination to get the mechanic there. It was too much for me so stop trying to buy the car.Tony and Joseph there had good “bedside manners”, but the overall management of the transaction was inaceptable. Wasted my time, my mechanics and theirs (they could have sold me the car a week ago, and is still in the catalogue)

Kori Sepin helped us buy a car from Koons. We were calling from Kauai, HI and wanted to get a FaceTime tour of the car. He was very accommodating. Then he drove the car to a friends home so she could test drive it for us. We bought it! But thats not the end of the story. Everything had to be done virtually because we were not due to move back to MD for another week. Kori drove the car to our daughters place of work in Rockville so it could be driven to the airport to meet us. Kori was so helpful and patient with the process and so was the finance department! I was looking for a Toyota 4Runner and found one at this dealership. I took it for a test drive and fell in love with it. I was going to trade in my truck and purchase the 4Runner. I came in and filled out all of the paperwork, everything was signed. I thought it was a done deal. I even had my credit card on the desk for a down payment, which they never took. When I looked at the 4Runner, I noticed that there were some light scratches and I asked them if it could be taken care of before I purchased the vehicle. They said that it could be buffed out the next day. Well, the next morning I get a phone call from the manager letting me know that the 4Runner has been sold! I was beyond shocked! They said that they were going to look for another vehicle for me, which hasn’t happened yet. Oh, and they still have the title of my truck and the registration. The manager said that they have FedExd my title. That was last week and I still haven’t received it. I’ve called and texted the manager and he seems to be giving me the run around about the title being mailed.I will NEVER buy a vehicle from this dealership, let alone Koons!!!!Just do yourself a favor and shop for a vehicle elsewhere!

Went to see a car that was on the website that was clean,spotless on the website.Went to see the car the wheels were filthy with many scratches on all four.A very visible scratch on the rear bumper that they said had been repaired before I went there.multiple nicks on the hood of the car.Obviously not the same car on the website.If the show you a car in that condition you might want to think twice before going there

I purchased a 1999 Lincoln Navigator from this dealership in May of last year. The car reminded me of my childhood so it was more of an emotional purchase. The truck has been absolutely great! i have done all the necessary maintenance as its needed to be done and this truck is still running strong. My only complaint would be i was promised a full tank of gas and only received 3/4 of a tank, but other than that i would certainly buy a car from Koons again.

Alonso Daniels was our sales rep through the whole process and made buying a car as simple and smooth as it could be. Very friendly, up front and honest every step of the way! My agent was at Alonso Daniels he went out of his way a couple days after I had come in to find a vehicle for me in my price range that was like the one I wanted I fell in love with the car and I purchased it. Bought a 12 Camaro manual... Less than a month the clutch wears out and I had full warranty but they wouldnt cover it at all...not 50/50 or anything saying it was a wearable item... Either they dont inspect their vehicles or they knew the clutch was going and still sold it to me...

The finance department is very bad and cheat you if You do not see all the transaction or paper work. They add all additional costs and hide you without your consent . They only show you monthly payment if you do not see in detail. They missed up my paper work after and waste my time.

We recently began our car search with two main criteria:1) Only look for vehicles at Koons locations, and2) Pre-owned.My wife and I test drove vehicles at several Koons dealerships in Northern Virginia. Two vehicles, from two different locations, made the final cut. Alanso Daniels closed the deal.Mr. Daniels was professional, informative, and friendly. Most important to my wife, he was not condescending towards women and was not overly aggressive nor pushy.We would definitely buy another vehicle from Koons Arlington.

Annapolis Koons on West St. It was a horrible experience. Car broke down after only 10 days, had to argue to get them to pay for it. Staff unresponsive, finance dept was very pushy and the mechanics are at best very inexperienced. In the 3 yrs I owned the car, I had to make over $5,000 in repairs. All I got (eventually) was a $25.00 gift card and a short letter of apology for my misfortune. Would give them zero stars if possible.

Overall, a good experience and close to home. I bought a 2015 Prius 3 from Dave King and Henry Garcia at Koons. Got a tiny price concession, but I agree with others that theres not much negotiating room. They know their cars and the competition. Still, based on my online check I think I got the best price w/in 100 miles for a Prius of my year, condition and features. Took it for an independent check and Koons immediately addressed the (very small) issue the mechanic’s test identified. Because it’s a (highly reliable) Prius, I skipped the nearly $3K they proposed for an extended warranty. This Koons is a decent dealership with a staff that represents the world, which is nice and they will work with most people. But do your research, know what you want and can afford to pay. Go in with eyes wide open. It’s a business, not a public service.

First I am not writing this to make look the people bad but the service that I have received here is not what you can expect with the exception of the finance manager which explain everything and fellow up with us couple times after the transactionBut everyone else that we have interacted was lying and when you confront them they don’t even say sorry sometimes people make a mistakes and it’s ok I was not expecting 100% correct but when you see your mistakes I am expecting you to take a responsibility and accept it.I wish I can post the text messages that we have exchange so the people can see what I am talking about when I show the pictures of documents that they where telling me they didn’t write and keep telling me they checked my file and it’s not there I have sent them a copy of it they just said ok ....They manager is even worst Because when I told him what is the problem he have being just talking with nonsense I have to tell him just forget everything else and let’s just have solution I have to give him suggestions.Overall it was not good experience but I am not all saying they are bad people I am sure there is great people like a lady that works another place that came to us that said she was sorry what we have to through. If you go there just hope you get the good ones not the ones that make an appointment for you and don’t even show up

We just bought a 2015 Sienna and Alonso Daniels was our salesman. I like him and I dont say that lightly (check my review for Land Rover in Bethesda). This was the first place I went to test drive a vehicle but I was suspicious and unsure of the price, so I left, and spent two weeks running all over the place.Throughout this ordeal, Alonso never pressured me to buy or waved me off - some salesman would judge a book by its cover and assume you either had no money or not a serious buyer. He continued to entertain my questions via text and provide the out the door price (OTD), which helped to narrow down my selections, and accommodate my repeated requests to test drive the vehicles).Long story short, I ended up going back to the place where it all started, and bought the vehicle. Alonsos demeanor was outstanding. The manager, named Al also, went out of his way to let me do my thing and threw in free brand new mats because he didnt like the original. There was also another salesman named Louis who was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to ensure our vehicle was cleaned again prior to us driving off the lot.Overall, Im so far quite pleased with my experience here at Koons Arlington.

I found a nice, clean vehicle with low miles at Koons Arlington Used Cars for a very reasonable price. That was about the end of my positive experience for the following reasons...1. I was purchasing a vehicle with cash. I informed the salesman that I did not want my credit ran due to the hard hit on my credit since I was not applying for financing. He informed me that they would not run my credit since I was paying in cash. He was wrong. They ran my credit due to a law that allegedly requires any dealer selling a vehicle to run the buyers credit. After the fact, it wasnt the fact that my credit was ran that bothers me. What bothers me is that the salesman said it would not be ran.2. The salesman I dealt with, Ken, was helping another customer apply for financing at the same time he was selling me a car. Thank you for your undivided attention.3. While dealing with the tag and title guy he was talking on the phone with a phone company regarding his familys telephone plan. Again, thank you for your undivided attention.4. When purchasing the vehicle there was one set of keys that I was handed. This set of keys had the physical key and the keyfob (the vehicle is older so they are separate). The dealer tag attached to this set of keys stated Set 2 of 2. I informed the salesman of this, who was trying to get rid of me as fast as he could, and he said Yeah it may be down at the mechanics and theyre closed for night so Ill have them send it to you through FedEx! I also asked for a copy of the CarFax that was not included in my vehicle packet that I was given. Across the time span of 5 weeks I called multiple times and Kens responses were...Yeah I sent the key out yesterday! You should be getting it soon!Let me check on it and Ill call you back!Dont call me. Ill call you.Well... Ken never called. So after 5 weeks with no key and somewhere between 10-15 calls to Ken I called the Used Car Sales Manager, Allen. I informed Allen of what had occurred and within 2 days I had a key in my mailbox. Problem solved? No. The key that I was sent was an $8 key that they cut at the dealership that did not include the keyfob that I paid for. And I never got the CarFax, either.On my long drive back to Maryland I had enough time to think about my experience and decided that I should share my thoughts. Overall, the price of the vehicle was very reasonable however I would not recommend Koons Arlington Used Cars. Once they get your money, theyre done with you and dont care a single bit about customer service. If you can find a vehicle elsewhere, you should probably do that.
