Last week I stopped by to see Jimmy about my car and was shocked that he left. He’s a great mechanic and had a team of good mechanics in his garage and charged reasonable prices. Does anyone know where his new business is located. I asked one of the mechanic but he did not know?

I have been going to this place for YEARS. Great pricing and always did a good job. I was shocked that Jimmy is no longer there and really didnt want to work with someone else. Mechanics are like Doctors. Its hard to find one that you trust. I am glad that I was able to find him at All Import Auto Garage in Arlington.

Anytime I have ever had a car issue, I go straight to this place and deal with Jimmy. The dude is awesome and he knows what he’s talking about, and his prices are hard to beat. Before I discovered this place I would go to big companies such as “Midas/Firestone/Pepboys” they charge you an arm and a leg for simple issues; especially if you aren’t knowledgeable about cars. I needed my A/C fixed and took it to those places, and was told it would cost me $1,000 to fix. I took it to Jimmy, and I got it fixed for under $200. Big companies charge you for “their name” not the services. I have also had my brakes and rotors replaced for under $300. I have also had my ball joints replaced on another vehicle for under $200 a piece. This place is a go to if you want honest prices from honest people!

In my opinion, car repairs can be as scary as going to the dentist. Going into the shop you dont know what to expect, you might just need a filling or the whole engine repaired. This is where the trust factor comes in (mechanic or dentist:) ). Pro Care is one of the few places I can trust to let me know what is wrong with my car, give me recommendations to choose from ( quick fix, permanent fix etc. ). Jimmy is very approachable, he will answer any questions without giving you that look that makes you feel less than human :). I have 4 cars, different makes and models. He can work on any of them. Great folks, great place.

Only place I will take my vehicle for repairs! Honest, reliable and fair pricing. Took my car once for one thing and ended up having them other stuff because the original issue wasn’t an issue.

Great service and price, this auto repair center has been my go to shop. I have a 2001 Ford F150 with over 350,000 miles and my truck runs just as good or better than when I purchased it over 19 years ago.

About 10 years ago, a guy at my oil change place referred me to Jimmy and Pro Care for an engine light. Was very pleased with the price and service. I have been going back to them ever since. Today, they are fixing a throttle body and oil sending unit on my 2007 Avalanche. I had it towed there yesterday and they expect it done today (24 hour turn around). I have turned on all my friends and family to this place. So many shops take advantage of the naïve; this is not one of them. Good work Pro Care!

I have used them for 4 years now. In the beginning, I always called around to get estimates from different mechanics for the job (if I knew what was wrong with my car) and they consistently beat on price. Now I just pretty much just take my car to them. I have never had a problem with the quality of work they do. They are much more expensive than my hometown mechanic, but that is on par for any mechanic here in the city. For a neighborhood mechanic, I would recommend them.

Okay so, Ill preface this by saying Ive been coming here for around 10 years (occasionally, as in I had new cars that didnt need fixing for around the last 6). Just recently ended up in my grandads old truck after a wreck and in time it began hesitating on me. Thought it was the transmission starting to fail as it was shaking real bad on occasion (maybe once a week), etc. Took it to my trusted shop. Had them diagnose the issue for $80 which is when I was informed that the fuel pump needed replacement (my boss and I had placed bets, I lost) along with several other things wires, plugs, lines.. a full tune up is how Jimmy referred to it and that it would cost $450 after the diagnostic costs (total of $530). Few weeks later I come back once I could afford (or my brother rather, bless him) the repair. Drop it off and he does the work over the next 2 days. Get the truck back and it works fine for 2 weeks (one of which I was bed ridden).. Then, again, the same issue starts up. Call Jimmy up and ask him hey I know we replaced the fuel pump and did that tune up. Do you have any idea what else the issue could be? His response being yeah not really sure but if you can bring it in, well take a look for you. Okay, cool. Bring it in and over a week later, I give him a call and he still hasnt looked into it but will look at it tomorrow. Guess once they had my money, expedience wasnt a concern but okay, theyre looking at it for free I guess so no biggie. Next day comes around, apparently its a vaccum leak.. $40..... Alright cool. If it fixes the issue, Im happy... It doesnt. Ask Jimmy why the running lean codes are still popping up on the computer and he finally comes clean and lets me know he didnt replace the fuel pump. When I ask why he tells me that there were so many misfires that he couldnt really diagnose whether the fuel pump needed to be replaced... That doesnt explain why he told me it needed it in the first place, why he didnt include the other $450 in the quote, or explain that it wouldnt include the fuel pump I was told it needed. Another $150 later and a days worth of my time replacing it myself, the issue is fixed and the codes are gone.TLDR: this place may work for you but get everything in writing. Neither I nor the people Ive referred will be returning as our trust in Jimmy and ProCare Auto have been broken.

I didnt like anything about this shop. My truck was leaking transmission fluid and he charged me 76 dollars to fix the leak. Five days later I noticed a leak again and I took my truck in. Once I came back to pick up my truck he told me that I had to pay another 45 dollars because he had to put in a new part. I asked him why didnt he tell me that he was going to charge me and why didnt he use this new part the first time? I then asked what did he charge me for last week if he didnt use this new part and he could only tell me that he used a ring. If you are in need of a mechanic do not go to pro care automotive.
