The manager Lee was super helpful and patient. However he was the only person there working all day. He was clearly doing his best, but he needs more staff to help. Even if it’s just someone to help the front check people in an out.
I always have a great experience at this jiffy lube, we’ve been going for years. Even if you show up and there are lots of customers, even if they are a bit short staffed for it, you can rely on them to take care of your car.Mr. Lee helped me today with a regular oil change and inspired me to come write this review, because their hard work over there at Jiffy Lube is under appreciated!
Tyie and staff are truly professionally based in the heat of the day. I was impressed with Tyies no pressure manner as he went step by step with what else needed to be addressed on my vehicle. I will return. The fact about good service is being acknowledged under pressure and giving thanks;it allows for the next one to receive. The best feature in giving and receiving is we sometimes need a moment to exhale from our exhaust system!

Before a family road trip, I wanted to get an oil change and rotate my tires. I arrived on site on 13 Aug and waited in the car line expecting someone to check me in. I noticed that no employees were helping the cars in front of me so after 20+ mins of waiting in the car line I started calling their phone lines with no answer, despite clearly seeing there were three employees just standing there, ignoring the phone. So, I went inside, but got the same treatment; I stood in line for another 15+ mins, clearly ignored. I saw in their Yelp reviews that poor customer service is an overly common issue here. I even read apologies from two different district managers who responded with their phone numbers. I called one of the numbers provided, and left a message about the issue but have yet to receive a call back…12 days later. AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS!!!
The person answered the phone was very rude and unprofessional. I’m glad I was able to find out early before I gave them my money. I don’t recommend this place at all !

Went in for a simple oil change. My car sat outside the bay for 10 minutes until someone could drive stick to bring it in. They took about 40 minutes to change the oil (should only take 15-20) after they finished my car sat inside, done, for another 10 minutes until they pulled it out. Oh, and someone who came in after me and after my car was being worked on, who also came in for just an oil change, had their car finished and left before me. Would recommend any other place if youre looking for a quick oil change.Two stars because the workers were nice, and my car has been running fine since the oil change. *knock on wood*

Great Service! They were very busy at that time i went. They did try to upsale me on my oil change if i didnt pay attention to the prices i would not have known they also claimed they vaccum my car but they didnt even remove the car mats. Other than that everything eles went smoothly.
Dropped off the car, sat in waiting room with a good book, didn’t add anything that I didn’t authorize like other oil change spots try to, just standard oil change and straight price. Great work guys!
Sat there for an hour and 15 minutes waiting to be engaged. Three cars in the bay technicians extremely slow. A few of them on their cell phones. The worst jiffy lube Ive been to. No sense of urgency; no one was answering the store phone when I called. If the idea is to have customers walk away, I wasnt the only one. Keep operating your business like this. The store will close down.

I took my car to a different jiffy lube for an oil change and tire rotation. A couple days later I noticed something under my car scraping the road, so I took called this jiffy lube since it was closer. I talked to Lee, who saw me right away and fixed my issue free of charge.

My expensive headphones were stolen right from my car today while my car was being serviced. If you absolutely have to go to this Jiffy Lube I would suggest you take your valuables out of your car. I trusted that my headphones would be safe in my car and I WAS WRONG. Worst experience with any business in my life.TAKE YOUR CAR SOMEWHERE ELSE.
Went in on a Friday afternoon. Was pleased to see that there was only a 20 minute wait. Excellent service - for me, oil change and fluid top offs took about 20 minutes to complete. Did not experience any pressured sales tactics to fulfill manufacturer recommendations. If masks arent your thing, can remain outside while work is done, and theyll find you. Still need mask for evaluation, payment and customer lounge. Observed that late afternoon can get busier indicating longer wait times. Friendly staff.

This place is full of hacks. I specifically said only regular oil change and filter. The bill should be no more than $45. The bill came out to $107. They put synthetic oil in and said the vehicle requires it which is a lie because its been running on regular oil since my company gave me the truck. They checked a bunch of other small things like a tire rotation which the vehicle did not need, checked the wiper blades and when I asked why it was their poor excuse is that they have to go based of what the fleet company requires them to do. This is a crooked place full of crooked workersI will never bring any of my vehicles here and neither should anybody else.
Ive used this Jiffy Lube before but today was the best experience Ive had by far. Greg met me as I drove up. He greeted me with a huge smile and a hearty hello. Greg was an important part of this experience. The rest of the staff was wonderful too. They didnt try to oversell any services or suggest services that were not necessary. I would give this crew a 10 out of 10.
We had our cars oil changed at this location. In processing there was a mixup between two cars and we ended up paying another customers bill, they paid ours.Afterward, I spoke with James and Lee on the phone to rectify the situation and they told me they could not process any correction (i.e. no credit card refund + reprocess), citing a general truism that companies that accept credit cards cant process returns, which runs counter to reason and common experience. They repeatedly told me the difference between the two bills was $10 despite the fact that we paid $106 and our actual bill was $78. Because they claimed the difference was $10, the only rectification they offered was a $10 coupon for our next visit (which as any Jiffy Lube regular knows is usually available to all customers).Both James and Lee told me on the call that they had literally PULLED THE CAMERA FOOTAGE of the transaction exchange, like we were some kind of criminals and instead of charging us for services rendered theyd more easily ready a legal defense. James told me I could go through corporate customer service to pay my actual bill but that it wasnt worth the effort because the whole process would take over month and a half. I said if I had no recourse I would write a review online and James threatened me saying, Well dispute your review and get it removed if it contains false information, we have the video footage: you agreed to pay the other customers bill. ....WHAT?!?!? It feels like this location saw an honest, simple mixup and brought out the spiked baseball bat against the customer.In the mixup, Jiffy Lube inadvertently exchanged personal information (i.e. names, full address, phone numbers, email, etc.) between us and the other customer.I would appreciate a customer service representative reading this to reach out to us. This entire exchange is shocking, and unbecoming of a longstanding and trusted company like Jiffy Lube.[Update 3/8/2021: Corporate customer service reached out to us and resolved the issue in less than 5 minutes. The corporate representative was friendly, helpful, and respectful (Thank you!). He confirmed that local shops are NOT able to reprocess transactions, but told me that the local shop should have passed the situation to corporate for immediate resolution.]
DO NOT GET YOUR OIL CHANGED HERE. They charged me 2-3x as much as I have EVER been charged for an oil change - and was in the position where I could not back out due because there were cars on either side of me.I have had my oil changed in many locations in different states, areas, companies, etc. I have even been to other Jiffy Lubes - have NEVER been charged this much. For reference, I was charged $100 for a 5W30 oil change. Looked at past receipts from other locations - between $30 and $50 is standard.I have never left an online review before, but I this one is warranted. Avoid at all costs.
Took more than an hour without a line. Partially deflated at least one of my tires and took the cap/valve for a tire. Ive been here more than once, and wont go to this one again.

DONT GO TO THIS JIFFY LUBE! I had my oil changed and my tires rotated here on Sunday. The first time driving my car after the rotation, my cars traction control, tire pressure, and steering column lights all went on. I took it back to Jiffy Lube and the employees told me they couldnt do anything about the issues.I had to pay a mechanic $150 to recalibrate the car computer. All things considered, we paid over $300 just to change the cars oil and rotate tires. It is a scam. Also, they tried to tell me my car was four wheel drive (which it isnt) and upcharge for my oil change.
My 2 times at this Jiffy Lube have been beyond incredible. Lee, the manager has hired an incredible team. Greg was waiting for me as soon as I pulled in and every one of the guys I interacted with was so kind, down to earth, and was all about making my experience as great as it could be. As I sat in the waiting room watching the guys work, it struck me that everyone was laughing and smiling. Not even the best 5 star restaurants have service this good. Its kinda hard to leave when your car is done! Keep up the great work, guys!!
I got my oil changed here and noticed later that the phone charger I keep in my car was missing. I never take it out of the car and left it in the center console. I will never go back to this location again and dont recommend anyone else do so.

Wonderful experience. Went in to change oil. They checked the vehicle and provided balanced recommendations regarding fixes that make sense to do then, and which ones perhaps later. No “push”, just the facts and let me decide. I very much appreciated the vehicle inspection, information, and recommendations. I approved some, and took note of other fixes for later. These guys are some tricky hustlers, mechanic approached me before even asking my name saying my cars fuel injectors needed cleaning. I just wanted a basic oil change. I declined the fuel injector cleaning, walked across the street for lunch and received a call from them again pushing the fuel injector cleaning and I declined again. Got out of there for $100 bucks, later that day my windshield whippers quit working, perhaps by coincidence... it’s not the first time these guys have pushed a $100 oil change towards a $200 oil change on me. Hope the whippers had nothing to do with it, I won’t be back. Beware...

Gregory and his team were amazing! Gregory ran out as soon as I pulled up and talked me through the oil change process, then walked me inside and made sure I got some coffee. My car is even cleaner from the free vacuuming then it is when I get a car wash! I’ll definitely be back here.
Great experience! I wish I knew the guys names. The gentleman who processed me had nice medium length dreads, the other, who rang me up, had short/buzzed hair. I never felt like I was being pressured into buying something I didn’t need. I felt like dude was being real w me about my air filters and I had no problem getting them replaced. I felt comfortable trusting them. And it was so fast! I thought it would take 20-30min. Nope, it took like 10min. (No one was in line in front of me. It was a Wednesday right at 5pm.) I live in DC but I will gladly drive to this location again. So nice, so fast, so easy. Do it. Go to this specific jiffy lube. (Oh! And the coffee shop next door has good beer and snacks while u wait.)

Sent my son in for a oil change that is all. On a 2010 c300 my son came home Whit a 220 bill receipt I own meny high performance vehicles. An never paid more then 150 100 for a oil change once again the chain jiffy lube taking advantage of a young person not knowing of vehicles an not even doing the job they paid for. They were supposed to top off all fluids. all fluids were not topped off an my power steering fluid was not topped off stay away from scammer jiffy lube find a mechanic that you trust an buy your own oil 😉

Great experience at this location overall. It’s a little hidden in this particular shopping center because it’s so small but is easy to find and I always have a great experience when I go. In and out in 30 or less. I always am convinced by the salesman to buy the oil additive ‘to prevent leaks’ even though I know I’m throwing $20 away when I get it. But the salesman they have is incredibly convincing and very talented at sales. Every time I’ve been to this location it’s the same guy in the evening using the, “well if it’s your wife’s car, you definitely wouldn’t want anything to happen when you weren’t there” angle and it works every time and every time I laugh and think ‘damn he got me again’. I hope he makes commission!

I looked up the nearest Jiffy Lube and found this one in Arlington. I was very impressed!! They were lightning fast. I was in and out of there in 30 minutes. They were professional knew their business. I could see that they they take a lot of pride in what they do. I love that!! I will be back!!!
The manager Lee is fantastic. After I got an oil change, I noticed my check engine light was on. I called Jiffy Lube, and Lee picked up. He told me to come back later today and he’d run a diagnostic for free. Lee helped identify what was wrong (it was unrelated to the oil change) and even recommend a mechanic in the area. This place has great customer service!
I went in for an oil change on Tuesday after work around 5:45 and was done by 6:30. Very easy and pleasant service. I was slightly disappointed because Id also wanted to get a brake inspection - the Jiffy Lube website lists this location as providing Brake services, but the only Brake service offered is Brake Fluid Exchange. Thats more a comment on Jiffy Lube website and FYI for anyone else who missed the fine print, but overall for the services I did receive, 5 stars!
First time to this location. Two other places I wanted to go to were closed. The greeter was super nice and walked me through the process and gave me a guesstimate for what I was there to do. Once my vehicle went in they went over in the computer what recommendations the factory had vs what services they provided. Overall great experience.
Wish I was better with names, but have a mixed review of this location. Pulled in and was greeted very friendly by an older gentleman. He told me the wait was a little under an hour so I left my car there while I went to an appointment close by. I wrote down the services I wanted to have completed. Over an hour later they called me to go over the things I needed for my vehicle to which I responded, “I’d just like my oil changed.” The tech said okay and hung up. 30 minutes later I returned to pick up my car and the technician accused me of authorizing an additional service that I did not approve. I felt like I was being finessed. He became very rude and called his manager. I spoke to him and informed him of what happened and he removed the charge. If you come to this location, make sure you reiterate the services you want-they will try and up-charge you.
Avoid this place at all costs.None of the coupons worked. They rung up as expired even though the expiration date on the coupon was weeks away.They broke my cabin air filter and then charged me $50 for a new one.Aggressively sold me on an engine treatment. Told me a coupon would be applied at checkout. That coupon was no longer valid when I went to check out.

I think they were down a person helping to check out, but still were good to greet, price and get my info to leave my car for an oil change. Was able to pick up in a hour or so with no appointment. Auto place down the street said I could get my car by 5pm if dropping off at noon.
This was the worst Jiffy Lube experience of my life. It took an hour and 45 minutes+ to change one headlight. I was told when I arrived to go to the waiting room and a customer service representative would assist me. This never happened. I truly believe I only got out of there in under 3 hours because I kept asking what was going on every 25 minutes. I repeat - I needed ONE HEADLIGHT replaced. Other cars got to go in front of me who arrived well after me. I was given false time estimates over and over again, told I would be rung up in a few minutes over and over again. Once my car was finished it sat there for another 15 minutes until I again had to go ask a mechanic to let me check out. Terrible. Complete horror in the waiting room. The waiting room told new customers to leave once they arrived if they didn’t want to wait multiple hours which multiple did.
Totally positively experience as soon as you pull into the garage. The staff are courteous and knowledgeable and the technology used is helpful and precise. I will NEVER take my car to the dealership again.
Good service and reasonable price. Took a little longer than expected and they try to sell you all sorts of additional unnecessary cleanings and maintenance. If I didn’t have a spine I’d have spent $500 but luckily got out for $120 for an engine air filter and a synthetic oil change. Not bad for the DC area, overall good experience.
Don’t give them business. Came in for oil change, left with nail in tire. Noticed the nail prior to leaving property upon car inspection, all staff and manager refused to take any accountability. Asked me to leave and cursed at me, saying I came in with the nail, somehow drove an hour on the highway there without noticing, and they allegedly didn’t notice while it was on the rack.I quote, “Sir, it’s impossible we caused it. We don’t have any nails inside this garage.” Laughable.Had to buy new tire (elsewhere) and they refused to take ownership of the mistake.The kicker is, it took an hour longer than quoted time just for the oil change.Please reinforce positive business practices and go elsewhere. We need to teach businesses that customer service and accountability still matters in this generation.
I took my car for an oil change after calling to make sure they had time for me. As a woman dealing with car related issues, I tend to be super nervous since I feel as though I will be taken advantage of. To my delight, this did not happen at jiffy lube in Arlington. They were so kind and gracious and made me feel extremely comfortable. The man who did the oil change expressed that the last person who did it hadn’t done it correctly, but that he was able to remove the piece from beneath my truck to properly change the oil. I left feeling comfortable, satisfied, and as though I had found the place that I will return to each time I need an oil change. Thank you so much!

Ive been using the Jiffy Lube franchise for years. The negative posts about the N Jackson St location are from individuals who probably lack an adequate level of intelligence, or social skills, to successfully navigate a seemingly trivial task - basic vehicle maintenance. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and provided enough information for me to make an INTELLIGENT decision about my vehicles maintenance plan. There is no ripping off or anything of the sort at this particular location. If you go there, see Walter - hell take care of you.

Great service! I’ve been by this jiffy lube twice in the past week to fill up my tires with air because one got a nail in it and the patch isn’t holding due to where the nail hit. This got me through until I could have tires changed this week. I talked to 3 different people in my 2 separate visits and they were all very pleasant and helpful and FAST even with this free service I was given. Will definitely be back!

If I could give zero stars I would in a heartbeat!! I was thinking I would be in and out with the services I needed. Sadly, I was mistaken.. it took over an hour to complete the needed services which was only two things!! Had I know it was going to take that long I would have went to a different jiffy lube. Usually my services at jiffy lube never take this long ever. I’m usually in and out within 20-30 mins tops but nope not here. The only good thing I can say is that the employees were friendly. That’s all. Had to add more. My car arrived before 2 customers but instead they took the 2 customers that came after me before me which I felt was inconsiderate and insensitive. I will never be returning to this jiffy lube ever again.

I brought my car in for an oil change. I had called the day prior to see if an appointment was necessary and they said no. I got there around 9:15am and there were no other customers so I was helped immediately. A nice gentleman met me at my car and told me what could be expected for an oil change. Then the customer service representative informed me of what additional items could be done to the car. Never once tried to up-sell any of the services. Everyone was supremely nice and my car was ready in about 15 minutes. I will 100% return as this was the best service I’ve had in regards to my car! Thanks guys!

I was greeted by Joseph. It was apparent he had a script but it was natural and genuine. I really liked the involvement in the process that I experienced with the shared view computer screen and questions. SCAM! Witnessed one guy show the same dirty air filter to multiple people to scam more money from them. They told me my car accepted a special kind of oil that cost more and had no accountability for the extra hour long wait. I dont think all mechanics are dishonest people. I do think that the ones at this establishment have no moral compass and blame the world for their poor business practices. They prefer to lie and cheat over delivering quality service to other human beings and take advantage of the fact that people need the service The principles at this Jiffy Lube are as poor and misguided as the service provided.
These gentlemen that work here are extremely knowledgeable, efficient, and polite. They have kept my wife and I’s Car running and ready for any season. They have earned my business over and over again! Keep the great work!
