I was told the repair would be covered under my Carmax warranty and the total would be $360 with a $250 deductible.When I went to pick up the car the total was $612. They had done extra repair work without calling me for permission. They would not release the car until I paid. They were dishonest and deceptive. Please save yourself some money and grief and go someplace else for car repair. Very disappointed.

I am so happy to have found the Cooper Pit Stop about 10 years ago. It was recommended to me by both of my sons-in-law Chris and Don. Been here twice for major costly repairs. They are always way below my first estimate from other garages. They are friendly, accommodating, and go above and beyond for their customers.

AVOID THIS PLACE. If you have a vehicle problem go somewhere were there are competent mechanics. The mechanics here convinced me my engine would explode if I drove off. I was eventually coerced and charged for something my vehicle didnt even need. The next day, I drove off in the same condition i drove in only with a bigger headache. Avoid this location.

A/C went out, all of the Freon had leaked out due to small holes in the A/C condenser. Vehicle takes the new r1234yf, very expensive. Priced the repair for parts/labor with the dealer, total bill would have cost over $1500. I was told if I try to go somewhere else they wont be able to fix my A/C and I will just be sent right back to the dealer. This was FALSE. I had also priced this repair with Firestone, quoted $900 with a promotion that could reduce the cost in 2wks. I was then referred to Cooper Pit Stop. The gentleman quoted me $800, and would have the part the next day. As the temperature outside was growing hotter and hotter, and I couldnt wait 2wks for a promotion to lower the cost, I took my car to Cooper Pit stop. A/C was repaired the same day. Afterwards, I even received a message from the business asking how the repair was going. I definitely will use Cooper Pit Stop in the future for repairs/services and recommend to others.

The guys that serviced my vehicle were very through with my vehicle showed me my problems and fixed my issues with fantastic customer service. By far the most honest mechanics ever. They do an amazing job to service your car and I have never had a problem since going to them. I had the biggest issue with my car and the other mechanics I would go to would fix the problem yet it would just come back 2 weeks later. After one visit to Cooper pit Stop, my car has never had that same problem and now a lot of my family and friends go here and receive the same amazing results!

I stopped by Cooper Pit Stop Saturday 1-30-2016 in the late afternoon. I needed my serpentine belt replaced due to squealing. Although they were busy, they still got my vehicle in rotation to be serviced quickly. I was able to watch them work and ask questions. Blake Grimes did the work and very patiently answered my questions. I highly recommend Cooper Pit Stop. Excellent customer service and very fair prices.

I took my car there 3times for the same and he didnt fix the problem so I had to fix it myself.

Did good, cheap work for the most part, I went to them for over 2 years for all my car needs.But they failed to properly tighten bolts to a drive accessory on the motor causing minor damage. When I took the car back to them to correct the problem they denied liability, lied to me and argued it was my fault even though I never touched it.At one point they tried to say that the bolts loosened due to motor vibrations explaining that quote, “the bolts may losses over time because we do tighten everything up but not always to factory specs.”When I did decide to have the car taken to another shop the owner, Nigel, hung up on me and refused to take payment over the phone when I called back for towing my car from my house to his shop three days earlier. So once the other tow truck driver showed up to pick up the car, Nigel refused to let the car go because I had not paid him for the tow.After another 45 min of him stalling the truck driver he finally took a cash payment and let the car go.

I can give 5 star if they solve this.I am regular customer of this place. I’m driving Hyundai 2007. One day my transmission wasn’t working and i took my car here as i am regular customer. They replaced it and i paid 1400$. They gave me 90 days warranty. After 20-30 days transmission problem start again. I went there to solve that and additionally with another power window problem. They fixed the window but forgot to do transmission box. And their place was far from denton. So i thought let me go some other day. I went again but they didn’t have a time bcoz I couldn’t reach there as per scheduled hour. Then after 20 more days i went there again. The guy who did my transmission box was went on vacation so they told me to come back again. And they pour transmission flui as a temp solution. As There was leakage somewhere. So after 10 days again i went there and they put die in it to track down the problem. And they got to know the problem. And he pour fluid again and told me to best time for come again.Now warranty period 90 days passed. I went again Last week he told me that now 90 days passed so I’m not sure how can i help you and Still let me see what can i do? And he was supposed call me back after two days. It’s been 5 days.. i called him but most of the time he’s out of the office. So now waiting for him to give me call back. As a student 1500$ is not a small thing. I hope he understands. If he doesn’t then i would recommend not to go there for major work.I realize my mistake to trust them.Heard back from them after this review on very next day and going to solve this problem by next week.

NEVER USE THIS SHOP!!! I took my car to this shop in order to have the AC fixed. First they advised me that it just needed charging. They did that and still no AC. Then they said I needed a ac condensor fan. Paid to have ac condensor fan installed, which they just jammed the fan in and didnt install correctly. And still NO AC. Then they told me I needed a ac pressure switch. I advised them that I will cut my losses and pay for the fan, but nothing else. The manager got into a physical altercation with me and the police were notified. The police man stated that this is not the first time something like this has happened. I paid the shop $360.00 (so they would release my car) and walked away with NO WORKING AC still. They use jack leg mechanics and dont know how to properly diagnose an issue and will charge you despite the fact they do not properly fix your car.

First off, this place is fairly difficult to find. They still have the Kwality Kar Lube sign from the previous management. I went in to get an alignment done. Apparently, I had run over a nail on the way to the shop so one of my tires was just low enough to throw off the alignment once I got the tire patched elsewhere. After talking with other mechanics from Firestone and Jiffy Lube, I learned that it is indeed standard practice to check tire pressure before an alignment. These are supposed to be professionals. If you do happen to get an alignment from these people, make sure to go in with full tires and ask for an alignment print out.
