The buying experience is the worst but service is the best. Give that services manager a raise. Kind, friendly, courteous service. Excellent service quality.
One star only because you have to put a star.Service Department is horrible, when I purchased the car I was told that they would take care of everything. Even if they have to come pick it up themselves. Vehicle has 24k miles on it and I have had it there 3 times for awful sound coming from engine compartment. Was told it was due to cold weather. It was brought to them during summer and was told it is a normal sound, maybe for a vehicle that has 240k miles on it. Asked them to come get it and fix it with the response of bring it to a Honda Dealer??? This was my first Acura and could be my last. Will most definitely be my last anything from Bergstrom.
Be careful with their service department. They will say additional services are needed outside of what Acura themselves recommend. Most recently I was told that I needed to have a brake cleaning and adjust which is only done on drum brakes. Acura hasnt had drum brakes on any of their vehicles for at least 20 years. Please dont let them rip you off with their deceptive and dishonest practices.

Recently, I bought a TLX from Bergstrom Acura. Joel and Bryce made sure that the entire experience was seamless. Joel answered all of my questions and gave me his email address and cell phone number so he could respond to my additional questions promptly. Bryce picked me up at the airport and we drove to the dealership. Joel had everything ready in advance of my arrival and we quickly completed the paperwork. Bryce helped me set up the car, phone, etc. and I was on my way home. The vehicle was spotless and exactly as advertised. I want to thank Joel and Bryce for providing outstanding and friendly customer service from beginning to end.
The staff really try to understand each customers concerns and make things right. Tried to get Acura of Appleton dealer mentality to rub off on Acura of Pembroke Pines. It didnt work, neither does my 2012 REMOTE Start. If anyone likes this 2012 Acura remote start please comment. Worst product and Acura of Pembroke Pines have no idea how it works. Appleton understood my issue and tried to explain to Pembroke Pines but Pembroke Pines is not like the great, understanding Professionals at Acura of Appleton, WI. I have visited Bergstrom Acura a few times in the past few weeks and I have found them to be very friendly and accommodating. They allowed me to test drive the vehicles I was interested in and answered all of the questions I had. It has been a good experience so far.
I would leave 0 stars if I could. The manager and sales associate lied to us about issues with the vehicle. They omitted the fact that the vehicle had a damaged wheel and a cracked windshield when I specifically asked both of them to explain and send pics of any and all issues before driving all the way to the dealership. They also flat out lied about the vehicle being serviced before they marked it for resale because when we showed up the 4 wheel drive system and the fuel system were both damaged. They tried to blame the problem on bad gas. Who do they think they were talking to? Ive been driving since I was 14 yrs old and have never put bad gas in my car. Were talking about a 45-50K SUV here that was supposedly serviced the day before we arrived by a cerified technician. Since they initially lied to me I drove from 3 hrs away with my pregnant wife to buy this vehicle. When the issues were discovered I presented several options to make things right but they werent interested in helping out a decived customer. They insisted we still pay full price, give them a few days to fix everything, drive the 3 hrs home, back, and then back home to purchase a vehicle that they could have just been honest about in the first place. If they werent lying it was just blatant employee incompetence and inexcusable for any reputable, legitimate business. Unless I get a call from upper management (Jason and Chrissy both have my phone #) I will continue to tell everyone I know that this dealership does not care about their customers and should be avoided at all costs.Sean Olson
The problem was the compressor on my air conditioning going out when the temps were in the 90s. Worked with Rob and the service team to get a new compressor installed. Sure, Im not happy that I had to pay for the work on my car, but the service team was professional, friendly, and quick. I always appreciate the use of a loaner car so I dont have to suspend the things that I need to do, and when my car is returned its always freshly washed and vacuumed.

I had an issue with my remote key slot...when I turned the car off it would say remove key, i already had. I could not lock my doors or use the remote...besides it draining my battary, someone could had easily robbed or stolen my car. I drove to Appleton to Acura and they checked it out and to save me over 400$ to put a new slot in they deactivated it but asked me first of course. Then did not charge me ths 145$ for diagnostics. So i said ill buy a remote battery to make sure its good, they gave me two at no charge!! I could had cried at the amount of kindness the staff showed me, and I am not an emotional person. Im so thankful for Bergstrom and the staff. I didnt even buy the car from that dealership and i still was treated so well!!! I recomemd this location to anyone...And again Thank you to the staff❤

If you want to buy a car at Bergstrom Acura in Appleton you MUST see Jason Smith. My wife and I recently purchased a 2012 Acura TSX from Jason and I kid you not, he was the most relaxed non-pushy salesman I have EVER dealt with. There was a 2009 that we looked at that was much less that we were considering and he did not for a minute try to up-sell another more expensive car to us. He simply wanted us to find the car we liked the most. When my wife and I had questions he did not know the answer to he said he didnt know but would look into the question and get the answer and he did. My wife and I are VERY busy with our jobs so we had to return on a Saturday, unannounced, to see if Jason could help us figure out some of the options of the car and he didnt hesitate for minute to run out to the car and walk us through EVERY step. Ill stop there with the review but I must say the Appleton Bergstrom hit GOLD when they brought Jason on to be part of the team. I recommend the dealership over-all. Next car I buy will be from Bergstrom Acura.

I went in for an oil change yesterday on my 2008 Acura TSX and was greeted by Robert Broeren. At first everything went well. Robert came up to me as I was sitting in their waiting room and showed me a dirty cabin filter and asked if Id like to replace it. Of course with a dirty/filthy filter, I said yes. About an hour later, the car was serviced. As he showed me the invoice, I was charged roughly $185. Robert went on to mentioned, the cabin filters usually need to be replaced about at 30,000 miles. That was when I started questioning him since I just bought the vehicle from them a few months ago and have put less than 5,000 miles on it. At that time I was pretty upset and I realized I was being ripped off by Robert Broeren. I asked him if he doesnt believe me to look the vehicle up. He did and must have realized the mistake he made. I didnt even get an apology from this dude. This isnt the first time, Ive been treated poorly at Bergstrom Acura in Appleton, Wisconsin---broken passenger mirror & dead fog light! With that being said, the car wasnt washed and was poorly vacuumed. Stay away from their service department. I waited an hour or so for an oil change, the car wasnt washed and it was poorly vacuumed. On top of that, Robert Broeren tried to rip me off! Im never going back there again. Be careful folks because you can be their next victim. I can not sit back knowing your employees could do this to someone elses grandfather, grandmother, father, mother, son or daughter in the future. We just purchased and picked up our 2016 RDX from Bergstrom Acura. The experience was great. Our salesman, Anthony, was one of the best salespeople I have ever dealt with. Not pushy, Not condescending, Not arrogrant, just a good down to earth person who took his time and answered all of our questions. We never felt we were being pushed into buying one on the spot. The finance experience was excellent also. We were shown the variety of add ons but once we said no there was no pushing us to buy anything we said no to. I know it is their job to try to get you to buy additional warranties and services and I really apperciate it when you say no they stop pushing it. We were in and out of the F & I department in a very reasonable amount time and Brad was very helpful and friendly. I would recommend Bergstrom Acura to buy a vehicle from.
We had a difficult experience with Jim Weiss/Acura sale man and his management today. We will need to write a formal letter to Appleton Chamber of Commercial and John Bergstrom.We bought BMW X3 6 years ago. We wanted to trade in for 2013, Silver Acura MDX. Pricing and terms were agreed over the phone. Jim called us last night and asked us to come down to the dealership and to take the delivery. We were very exited, took a day off to close this deal. Only to find out....Jim presented us with a difference vehicle with high mileage and less value. We walked away from the deal. Off course, Jim said he never agreed to this deal. If this makes Jim a good car saleman, it is only servced the business as short term.Lack of business intergity or TRUST.Lession learn: have sale purchase agreement in writing prior to taking the delivery if you are out of town.We will find some other trades. Difficult to get appointments for service. Doesnt matter that its a warranty repair, window seal, dead battery, no emergency goes with speed. They seem to care more about selling cars rather than servicing them. Time has to be on their side, mine is wasted trying to get to and from service.
Parts department is hard to reach, at times. Have had to leave multiple messages before getting a response.
