I purchased a used vehicle from this location a couple months ago. Quickly after purchasing it, I heard a rubbing sound in the front end. Since it was a used vehicle and it was not a Honda, I didn’t go back to Gustman to have it addressed. When I got my oil changed for the first time, I had the concern addressed and learned that the “nice new tires” that Gustman put on prior to putting the vehicle for sale were the wrong size! Since this is a safety concern, I’m out the cost of 4 new tires.
I just went in to have my transmission fluid changed. My low air tire light was on, and they found that one of my tires had picked up a teeny tiny piece of grey steel. They took it out, and plugged my tire at n/c. They went the extra mile, and made my day, and they washed my car as well for me! Wonderful, friendly, nice staff. God bless you all!

Richard really listened to us as we described what we were looking for in a new car. Our first time at the dealership we just sat in cars, checking comfort levels, headroom, ease of getting in and out the vehicle; we didnt even test drive. He suggested we look at the Odyssey. Several days later, and after test driving other cars, we came back and drove two different cars. Final decision: the Odyssey which wasnt even on our radar to begin with. The service center is the worst I have ever been to. They have no communication skills. They told us our part was in, and then proceeded to call us the day of our appointment 20 Minutes before hand when we were already on our way to Appleton to tell us that the part for our vehicle never came in. They already previously tried to make up for poor communication in the past by doing our tire rotation and service test for free. But this is actually the 3rd time of them lacking in communication and having to cancel our scheduled appointment. Very upset.

This dealer is awful. The service department has horrible customer service.I had been dealing with an issue with my Honda van for almost a year with them and they just dont seem to want to help at all. They are dismissive and take forever to get back to you with your repair concerns. As a woman, I felt like they didnt believe my concerns even though this was a known issue with Odyssey vans and just didnt want to hear about it. I have had such better service going to Vans Honda in Green Bay - completely worth the drive.
Last week we went to this dealer with an intention to purchase a car as already discussed via email, but after 2 hours of waiting, no papers were processed, as they said no one was able to do it and the car would not be ready for us. So they just took our deposit and rescheduled to process the papers later that week. They didn’t even give us a receipt when we left—we had to go back to ask for a receipt! Anyway, during that week we found a better deal from another dealer, whom went above and beyond—even after hours to make the purchase complete. We then called this dealer for our deposit back but they refused to give us our refund and said they would deduct cleaning fees for the new car. The manager Tim verbally attacked us over the phone, claiming we signed a contract and if they returned our deposit, fees would be deducted. We had to threaten to take legal action because they did not give us any contracts to sign and he needed to prove that, or we’d be taking him to court. So apparently he was not able to prove that so he called us back to come pick up our deposit. I would never come back here again and would never recommend this dealer to anyone because of the way he treated us and try to steal from us. They did not take their time to serve their customer so we took our money somewhere else. If they would have taken their time to give us papers to sign that night, it would have been a done deal. The manager is dishonest and extremely unprofessional. I could go on and quote more of how Tim verbally attacked us—long story short, this dealer lost a customer but Tim acted like a sore loser. Let it be a lesson to your team.

My father purchased a 2014 Subaru Outback from Gustman Honda about 6 months ago paying cash. When the title was delivered by mail it was discovered the mileage did not match the odometer - the title mileage was over 10K miles greater than the odometer.Gustman Honda has indicated the odometer was correct and promised to get the title amended (which is their responsibility per State law) but has not done so. My father has been waiting for this to be corrected but they have made no progress to correct this.
Had to go to oshkosh to get a key cut because they had to order parts to get their mark up even though I have a spare key to be cut. Now I have to get my vehicle towed to Oshkosh and miss work for another day all because of a company policy to get mark up dollars. They do not care about people, they care about money. Thanks to the friendly folks at the Oshkosh dealer for doing something for 30 dollars that these guys wouldnt do for less than 200 due to manufactured labor costs that dont even need to actually happen.Thanks for making my life difficult

I’ve been very disappointed with their service department so far. I purchased my car from them in August 2018. I had it in for a factory recall that was a good experience. This spring when I stopped to get tire pressure checked no one in service was wearing a mask. The person got in my car with no mask and no gloves, backed it up a few feet putting my seat way back so touching another part with no gloves. When I spoke with Scott the service manager the next day he was extremely nice and apologetic saying he’d speak to the service people. This weekend I called when my 2 year old car wouldn’t start. I was told to call Roadside assistance. In 1 hour someone came and jumped the battery saying the battery and alternator appeared fine but something was draining my battery. This went on all Labor Day weekend. After another Roadside assistance call and wait today to get it started I drove to service department. Again no masks or gloves. I had to ask the service guy to wear a mask before getting in my car but no gloves in sight. The waiting room is small and was packed with people so I had to stand outside in the cold and rain. I asked for a loaner car and was told there were none. No apologies offered. After a few hours they called to say the battery was recharged and found nothing when I explained that after recharging it all weekend it would be drained in one hour. So now they will give it more time. Hopefully hear from Scott tomorrow about this poor service. He seemed to be a very considerate person the first time I called. I do not look forward to any more visits to their service department. The attitude is definitely lacking especially in the Covid-19 time.
After a rough round 1 at other Honda dealerships in the area, I was relieved to meet Chad Gehr at Gustmans. Surprisingly he made me feel comfortable and able to focus my energy and attention on the car that would be perfect for me. I am so happy with my 5 star safety rated 2018 CRV EX with an added tow package! If car shopping makes your hands sweat, check out the crew at Gustmans. If they can take good care of me they certainly can take care of you! This isnt a 5 star review because the coffee and cookies were all gone and didnt get refilled the whole time I was there. This review is specifically for the Collision and Auto Body department of Gustman. Not once, but twice now my vehicle has been smashed by a truck. And twice I have had the team at Gustman repair the damages to my Accord. They do a phenomenal job! Seriously, Ken is effective at communication, price quotes and delivering the vehicles as promised. He also does everything possible to make sure his customers are happy. The tech that worked on my Accord is stellar as well (I wish I knew his name). The paint matches flawlessly! You cant even tell that anything ever happened. This is important because my car is 13 years old and as time goes on, paint can fade, etc. You guys rock, keep up the awesome work!!
This review has a lot to do with Scott. I assume he is one of the managers in the service department. I came in wanting transmission fluid and oil change and for them to inspect the entire vehicle because I felt like there was something wrong. He and his team went above and beyond and found a little debris in my vehicle cleaned it up without charging me. They were even nice enough to put my battery in that I brought with. I will be coming back for future repairs and upgrades. Scott was so friendly and dealt with my bold personality and personally called me to make sure that I was included in every step of the process. Fantastic customer service. Thank you.
The sale person was great, but the auto services have poor customers service. Im used to Toyotas great service where the customers service start right when I pull my car into the lot. I dont have to search for an avaliable rep. When I got to Honda, all the representatives sat behind their desks talking and told me that theyll be right with me. After the person look up my information, he told me its going to take a few hours and am I waiting or leaving? I told him Im waiting, but he didnt bother to tell me where the waiting area is. He just turn around and continue with his thing. I have to interrupt him to ask where the waiting area is located. Maybe he assumed Ive been there before and know my way around. I might have to go to the Honda dealership in Kaukauna to see how there service is next time.
Dont take car here for service and people here are absolutely rude they will not take responsibility for any wrong doing to your car.

Took my car in to get my front strut fixed. Bought my own parts so total came out to be $570 something. Picked up the car and drove it not even a mile away and suddenly the driver side window comes crashing down. Drove back into Honda Gustman Service, Rick M. looks at it and says he will give me a quote on how much it will cost. Go sit in the sitting room, Rick comes in and tells me its going to be another $350 to fix my regulator. Blew my mind, before any of this, my car window was working PERFECTLY fine. Nothing was wrong with it, but then it breaks while being in Hondas garage for 2 weeks and then when it breaks, they point fingers at me telling me its my fault and to cough up $350 bucks after I just paid $600. By all means I understand you have to do your job, however how is this any of my fault when I had no access to the car and the car window is broken after being in your shop for the past 2 weeks. Rick just kept stating that we did not work on your window, I understand that as I know exactly what you guys were working on however you cant just tell me the window broke for no-reason and somehow its my fault. It should not be on me to pay the extra $350 for something I did not do. Waiting for Manager Scott to respond. Furious at the customer service and waiting how they will respond to this situation.

Drove 2.5 hours to test drive a car. Car was sold when i got there. The old bait and switch. Talking to other people, they have had the same experience with these crooks. Stay away.
$383 for a paint job that my 9 year old can mirror. Poor job Gutsman Honda and the service guy has no answer for. What a shame! Wonder why I didnt want to go there in the first place. Ive been taking my Subaru here since day 1. This is where I purchased it, new, and theyve been amazing and helpful the entire time. Things go wrong with vehicles, its just life, but they have been as helpful as possible with each bump in the proverbial and real road!
This is my third lease and these guys have bent over backwards every single time to get me into the vehicle that I needed. First time I had minus equity to roll over into a lease from my previous car loan and when other dealerships would not do it this one did without question. Leased a Civic for a year and a half then my job and commute changed so I needed an SUV and they got me into a CRV without any penalties or issues. A year and a half later I wanted to save a little money, have a little more fun and drive a quicker automobile, and get out of the SUV and back into a sedan so they got me into a leased Accord...again without issues or penalties. Basically these guys are always busy and selling tons of Hondas for a reason. I recommend them to anyone who wants a Honda and why not considering Honda is making some of the best cars and SUVs on the market today. Ill be doing business here for a long time and am not interested in giving my business to anyone else.
I had a great experience with Al in sales. Service is good, though I do avoid Bob. Seems that he doesnt really like me for some reason. The other guys have been top notch and super to deal with. I plan on buying future Hondas from Gustman.

Went there a few years ago for service on my old Civic. Normally I avoid dealers like the plague, but I had few options at the time. They were courteous, efficient, reasonable, and didnt try to find anything extra to fix. Just lately my key broke, and when I called to inquire, the price they quoted me was $50 cheaper than my local Honda dealer.
Honda service department is the best I’ve been too! Always service my car in a timely matter and answer any questions I have honestly and don’t try to upsell me anything. It’s nice to have a reliable service department who actually cares about their customers.
HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! Dropped my 12 Odyssey off to get serviced. Called 2 days later to inquire about it. Service writers blew me off by giving me the usual someone will call you back spiel or were busy. My van was their for 1 week!! No one looked at it or even attempted to diagnose it. Only reason I took it here is because my van still has extended warranty and its close to my house. Anyone looking to bring your car in for service. DO NOT bring it here!!! Its not called the Stealership for any reason. They steal your money and time.
Needed an oil change on my vehicle and the dealership seems to be so backed up they cant do oil changes daily. If you need an oil change, Id recommend bergstrom. A service advisor by the name of Bob was not helpful or enthusiastic. I myself work at another dealership and know what to expect as a customer. If you want good service. Dont go here.
I have bought 5 vehicles from Gustman over the past 7 or so years, all of them through Alan in sales. I have also serviced my vehicles there. Gustman is a top notch shop and is amazing to work with. Alan (sales), Brian (sales manager), and the whole service team are great, high-integrity people and are always a pleasure to work with. The sales are no pressure at all, and they have gotten extremely competitive with pricing over the last couple years with their new GM. Our trade in was evaluated and we were offered a competitive price for it as well. We were able to avoid the pushy sales tactics working with Richard and Timothy. They do not deserve even one star...... I had to pick something in order to post this. I wish I could give a negative 100 to Chad and the other salesmen at Gustman Honda. My son really liked an Impala on the lot. Our entire family drove to Appleton on Saturday and yes there was a tornado and the power was out at the dealership. First, the men were outside smoking and just pointed to where the car was sitting in another lot and stated we cant do anything as we dont have power. My sons wife stated as we walked to the car that from a customer service aspect that was horrible and someone could have walked us to the car. Not one of the men working seemed happy to be there and Chad even stated he was surprised that they were still open due to having no power.Well, to get to the real explanation of my review - I wrote out a check for $500 to keep the car for my son continuent on an overview by our mechanic of the vehicle on Monday. The car again looked and rode amazing. However, our mechanic found a mouse nest in the motor, and over $2,000 of work that would need to be done three months after my son would own the car.My husband went back to Chad on Monday with the car and explained this. Chad crossed his arms and stated well with your budget you are not going to get a perfect car. WE know this but we dont expect what our mechanic told us. Our budget is $10,000 cash purchase for a used car to help our son out. This was the start of my husbands fun in trying to get my $500 back. Chad stated that they would remove the mouse nest from the motor and fix the brakes but that is it. So there was no deal and my husband wanted the check back. We wanted all the scheduled maintenance done or $2,000 removed from the price of the car per our mechanics findings.Chad proceeded to tell my husband that my check had been cashed, which the manager told me would not happen while I wrote out the check and handed it to him on Saturday. Chad told my husband to go to the front office, or something to that effect.Several salesman and manager ganged up on my husband and said that they wanted to complete this deal and they basically did not believe our mechanic and they brought out a list of everything that had been done to the car before going on the lot.My husband did reply that he could go get the mouse nest out of the motor now to show them. The manager told my husband not to get lippy with them. My husband felt intimidated and bullied.They then handed over MY check for $500 that was not cashed as Chad had stated. Chad did lie to us as the check was never cashed.Do NOT go to GUSTMAN, please, they treat people like dirt.

When I first bought my car we had the weather shield put on. 5 years later they put it on again. They cleaned my car inside and out really good. Removed some stains that were on the back seat. It was like a brand new vehicle. They did an exceptionally job.

Unfortunately, my first experience with Gustman will also be my last experience with them without even stepping foot on their lot.I contacted them about test driving a vehicle and received an email response rather timely and we set up a time to test drive said vehicle. The next day I was contacted that I could not drive the vehicle because it was in the shop getting new brakes and it may take a few days. My next appointment could not be completed because the vehicle was still not ready. I set up another appointment and then received an email that the vehicle was already sold. What? Sold off the lift or what? I was very disappointed that they would have pulled that kind of stunt on me. They had the tenacity to ask if I wanted to look at a different vehicle. What would make me think that they wouldnt pull the same cheap shot like they did with the first vehicle and sell that one out from underneath me, too? To me, that is poor customer service and poor business practice. Sorry Gustman but your business is only as good as your weakest link.
We always had decent service here. We just had trouble ordering a Pilot here when we bought ours in 2004. The selection is better now, but prices were not competitive versus a better equipped Hyundai Santa Fe when we were in the market in the winter of 2017-18.

I really liked Gustman for service on our Honda Odyssey; they correctly diagnosed a suspension problem that had stumped the well-known alternative dealership in the area. Good work, fast, and a fair price.
We keep coming back to Gustman Honda since we trust them to give us a good deal -- and I think they always have. Dan is very responsive to our needs and we trust him. He doesnt try to pressure us into adding on things we dont want or need. Scott in service is very knowledgeable and we trust his judgement when it comes to servicing our vehicles.
Unsure of having service done here as I havent had to do that, but the vehicle purchase process was quite smooth and easy. The service was friendly and not pushy at all, the dealership really tries hard to find you a vehicle with your wants and needs within your price range.
I absolutely love this dealership. I have been the 3rd person in my family to buy a car from Richard Panske at this dealership. My mother bought a 2016 Accord, sister bought a 2016 CR-V, and I recently upgraded to a 2018 Civic. Richard took the time to go over differences between the different models and made sure I had the exact car I wanted, right down to the choice of color. The service department is great to deal with as well! I had a 2009 Accord before my Civic, and they always took great care of servicing it and never tried to up sell me like most every repair shop does. I even had a coupon for $20 off $150 dollars of service on my old car which I forgot to bring in, and the still honored it the next day when I came back and refunded $20 to my credit card. My entire family has always had such great customer service with Gustman Honda in Appleton dealing with sales and service. They are always looking out for the customers needs and do a great job servicing us. They have definitely made me a customer for life and I cant say enough great things about them. I am constantly telling my friends who drive domestic cars and trucks to go see Richard Panske at Gustman Honda and jump on the import train because they are amazing!

Brought in my 08 accord with a brake light indicator on, and it was a loose fitting. They fixed it free of charge, and its not under warranty or purchased from them. They now have a loyal customer for sure.
We were traveling on vacation and our A/C went out in our CRV, they got us in the very next morning (a holiday weekend no less) and gave us a loaner while they fixed ours. Great service and staff, thanks for all your help!

Jason Davis (the guy that does/did all the final paperwork when you buy a vehicle) was SUPER rude. He explained to me all of the different extended warranty packages, didn’t even ask if I was interested in the first place. After he explained each package deal, I told him I didn’t want any extra warranties, and he said “why?” in a very rude way. I told him that my friend told me it’s a waste of money (and my Mom had told me they were also, and others have told me as well ). And he said “what kind of cars do they drive, what year?!” I told him the type and that it was new from a dealership . Jason proceeded to tell me that my friend is ignorant, and gave me the scenario of how people buy extra phone care for $30 a month for a $1000 phone and that this extra warranty for a brand new car is only $30 a month. I felt extremely disrespected, and felt pressured into buying something after telling him off the bat “I don’t want it”. At the end of everything, he proceeded to tell me that he disagrees with my decision for not getting the extra warranty, but if I change my mind within the next 3 years, they are still available but won’t be the same price as they are when I bought the vehicle. He could have probably made a good prediction on the fact that this was my first time buying a brand new vehicle, considering how young I am. I felt targeted and disrespected. Jason made my first experience of buying a new vehicle unenjoyable.
Only place I will consider taking my vehicle for service. Reasonably priced and the work they do is impeccable.
I purchased a 2015 certified used Honda CR-V Touring today. I had a great experience with everyone from Brian Moard, the salesperson to the Business Manager to dealership managament. I would highly recommend Gustman Honda!

Spoke with Scott in Service Dept. to schedule an appt. for airbags to be replaced due to Honda recall.Scott verified my auto needed airbags replaced on driver side and passenger side. He said he would order the parts, and then he gave me appointment times he had open.Since 1st availability was in 5 days, and my daughter would be working both of her jobs each day, meaning highway travel to other cities, I asked if we could get a loaner.Scott said, “Honda stopped providing loaners for the recall about 2 months ago when it took longer to get the parts.” He lied. I called Honda. Yes, it was naïve of me to not have researched this beforehand, but he flat-out lied. Scott put our lives in his hands. He decided we would be safe for 5 more days. He should be terminated.
I found Gustman Honda to be have better pricing, customer service and be more honest about what is needed to be fixed immediately and what can wait than any other Honda dealer in the area.

Ridiculous service and lack of knowledge. Just got off the phone with Gustman Honda needing an estimate for the reinstallation of a wiper motor. He said you just plug connectors in then youre good to go. I told him that an alignment needs to take place first. He said then he doesnt know but if I come in he will need to do a diagnostic, take things apart, etc... I told him that I know what the issue is already but he ignored me. Watch out customers because this shop will squeeze every cent out of you!

Went there to try out an CRV. Salesman was OK but when I started talking business the manager was a total jerk. He was telling ME why I was trading in my Hyundai Sante Fe Sport and he was way off base. I loved my car and was only trading it in because we usually trade every few years. He kept badmouthing Hyundai and their warranty, which is a very good warranty by the way. They were all around hard to deal with. Where as the Subaru dealership next door was very nice. I will be picking up my new Outback this afternoon.
We bought our 2011 Ford Fusion from Gustman back in January. The service department is refusing to do anything about it and the only way we could drive off the lot with the car is if we got the extended warranty through them. Well now the radio is going out in it and they greased the front end twice and I was told by the service advisor that they put there grease gun directly into the boot. So now were having another issue with the car that once again Gustmans is refusing to fix and look at and they told me he other day that there technicians are not even fully certified for the other vehicles on there lot on the used side they are only certified to work on Hondas. So now I have to call Ford tomorrow to see how much its going to cost me to have them look at the radio issue. I will say this once Ford looks at it Gustman will be fixing it. Im done playing the nice guy.
