Huge Thanks to the machine shop @ Automotive Supply and the rest of the team there. They came in clutch for us and were able to remove a broken stud from a 6.0 diesel turbo. They did such an outstanding job as we couldnt even tell there was ever a broken stud. Thank you again, to the whole team!!

I had a flywheel machined here. I have an enthusiast car and had a very nice conversation with the Machinists about the precise details of the machining. They took time to explain things to me and they obviously took great care to get it right. This will be my shop of preference whenever I have machine work that needs to be done.

I was recommended automotive supply by mechanic in Oshkosh to mill my exhaust manifold. Upon surprise Joe Schaefer offered great service in milling my manifold and had it complete on the spot. He also gave me advice to use wax and lent an extractor to remove two studs stuck in the head of my truck. I had spent 2 days battling one of the two studs and still wasn’t successful. I followed Joe’s advice and I was able to extract both studs in under 15 mins. I highly recommend and value my experience at automotive supply. I will definitely be returning with challenges I have in the future.Thank you Joe and the automotive supply team!

Great resource for special paint colors

Above and beyond your auto parts store expectations!!! I came in for a brake job part, caliper slide specifically, that I broke a snapped a bolt in. The new part wasn’t available from the dealer for a week and was 4x the cost, and big box stores didn’t carry it....period. Sean the manager helped me out and they have a MACHINE SHOP in house that got the bit out and saved me many dollars and days worth of frustration. I’ve shopped at auto parts stores across the country for years and this customer service was BY FAR THE BEST!!!

I stopped there to buy some paint supplies. It seems like they have no interest in helping walk-in customers. The store is in an older building. The retail area is not well laid-out or well-stocked.I went to the front counter and was barely acknowledged. After explaining what I was looking for, I was told to go the paint department. The paint counter man was also rude. I asked if they carried the product I wanted and he simply replied yes without emotion or interest... as if he couldnt tolerate being bothered by such a petty request. Getting more information was like pulling teeth.Once he finally fetched the product from the back stock area, he started asking questions about the application, again with a condescending tone. While I was in the middle of answering his question, he walked away to answer a phone. Once I realized he was going to be on the phone for a while, I started browsing some nearby shelves... rather than just stand there waiting for the privilege to give them my money.He ended the call, yelled another rude comment in my direction and thats when I decided it was time to leave. My order total wasnt going to be much -- about $60 -- so Im sure they wont miss me.Theres no reason for me to ever go back. At least if I order products online, I dont get treated poorly.
