I got a level kit and a brand new set of 20in wheels and tires installed on my 2013 Tacoma. I couldnt be more stoked! It looks fantastic and I think it even drives better than before (my old tires were pretty worn). Would recommend them to anyone. Got a good price and quality service.

They might be good at mounting tires but DO NOT let them touch your lift or do any value added services. They cut off brackets and installed lift components incorrectly.

I wouldnt recommend to anyone, they dump antifreeze in the alley. Its all around the dumpster going down the alley. People live right next to this place, if their pets get loose and get into this it will kill them slowly and painfully. Not to meantion any wild animals. I came here at 1130 for an appointment for an oil change and alignment. Two hours later, they were done and when I went to get into the truck, the door handle came off as it was placed to look like it wasnt broken. I know I left the windows up and saw an employee get into the driver seat and pull into a bay, prior to all of this. I came back inside and spoke with Mike who is the owner and he said the mechanic said it was already broken and if I wanted it replaced I would have to wait even longer. What a joke! Own your screw ups! If $15 dollars is going to break the bank then you shouldnt be in business. Not telling a customer that you broke something and will replace it is horrible.

Good place to get some work done usually. The guys in the shop are cool and if you can talk to them, they give great insight and advise. They guy behind the counter seems like he needs a vacation though. If he knows you he is nice.. if not, he is a little short. Im not saying he is rude.. just not super friendly. He is professional and if you dont mind the lack if friendliness, he is helpful.

A really great shop. I came in a couple of mornings ago after my tire blew up on the 60. I didnt want to drive far on my donut tire so I Google maps searched the nearest places, read the reviews here... Im really happy I came. They were busy and still helped me right away, even better they were really nice to me. I will for sure come here again

I had a good experience at James. Its a family owned business with experienced staff. I went in for an oil change and lube, on time, on budget, and no hassle. The staff showed me a small gasket leak, but there was no pressure to gotta have this fixed right now. The owner is very supportive of veterans and l appreciate that.Id recommend James, and Ill use them again.

They get it done! Mike was competent and efficient, and so was the guy who aligned my wheels. Price was reasonable, and exactly what they quoted me when I made the appointment. I was in an out in under an hour.While I was there, I saw Mike deal with other customers, some of whom had nice, classic cars, others with beaters like mine. He treated everyone with the same respect. I could see the mechanics and techs working through the window, and I saw no shady stuff. Way better than the last shop in town I tried!

As a full time resident of Apache Junction for over 22 years, I like t to do business locally. I saw an Ad for James Auto n the local paper, and since i was in need of repairs, went on line to check customer reviews before making an appointment. My appointment was this morning and I must tell you I havent been treated this rudely in a very long time. After a butt chewing from the man at the desk, Mike?, I asked for my keys back and left. Kudos to one of your employees for holding the door open for me when I left. Guess there are a few gentlemen, with manners, left in this world.

I get my oil changes done a James tire. They are fast and dont try to up sell me. Apparently they are plunity busy. They dont need to push you to get work you dont need. Dont take the counter man wrong. Its not that he is unfriendly. He just doesnt have a personality.

Brought my car in for a timing belt cover replacement/temp gauge problem. They ended up Jimmy rigging a temp gauge wire to fix the gauge. Came home, lifted my good and noticed they forgot to put the coolant reservoir cap back on and had unplugged a head light. Not impressed with the attention to detail or ability to troubleshoot. Would only recommend for oil changes and tires personally.

I WOULD AVOID AT ALL COST. PAY A FEW EXTRA DOLLARS AND GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE!Brought a car in with a problem with the coolant system. Was told the transition line was leaking into the radiator. Okay, new radiator, chemical flush, and coolant fill. Over $400. Drive for around 50 miles and engine overheats. Called and was told they would pay for the tow only if it was related to the work they did. Brought the car back the next day after refilling the coolant and they took another look. No call about the problem they found or what they were going to do to the vehicle. Returned after calling to see if it was done and was told it was a thermostat and that they would only warranty the work but had to charge me labor that was $170 per hour. Okay. Fixed right? 200 miles into our trip home to MN, car overheats.Finally get it to a shop and we are told they would have never done any of this work without verifying if it was a cracked head or a head gasket leak in the motor. It took this guy 15 minutes to almost garentee this was the problem and a $45 test to confirm it.Now I am 200 miles from where I started waiting to tow a now worthless car.If you use this shop only use it for tires as the name implies as they are obviously not competent enough to fix mechanical issues or are just crooked people trying to nickel and dime others.Update: had a real mechanic look at the motor. The replaced thermostats were never removed when the stated the replaced them I was told by the mechanic this would lead to overheating and ultimately a blown motor. A new motor and the car drives great.

Lied to my face telling me when I bought a truck they would warranty the transmission that was in it if I did the labor.So I pulled the transmission dropped it off to them after 2 months of trying to see whats going on with the transmission.He called me and told me he was unable to do the warranty because it was improperly installed by previous owner lol... ((previous owner is part of the shops family the shop knew when I was buying the truck who put the transmission in))So I told him okay Ill be picking the transmission up so I can rebuild it he told me its in parts in Phoenix and hes unable to get it... Do not use the shop you will most likely be ripped off

Found this little place near me and although I’ve only had tires de-mounted and tires mounted an balanced (not sure what other work they do) I’m glad I found it, cheap, quick, close, and all the people I’ve dealt with have been nice.

I needed new tires and was tired of dealership and big tire places. I was always used to my hometown mechanic in NY, so when I moved here I wanted to find a place like James Tires. I did get my new tires, they did inform me of quality prices of all but went with what my budget was and I did not feel pressued to buy up. Service was quick and efficient and friendly. I have used them for maintenance and dont get up selled like at dealerships.

BEFORE YOU GO BUY SOMEWHERE ELSE READ THIS: This is for the dealership not the mechanic shop.Let me tell you about my experience with this place. I was in the market for a truck found a Chevy Duramax on Craigslist for sale by this place so I called Austin and told him I was going to come look at it. I loved four hours away so I wanted to make sure my financing was set up before I went. My bank would not finance because the truck was one year too old. I called Austin and told him, he get me set up with a bank he dealt with and even got me a better interest rate than my original bank offered. I drove down and traded in my expedition and bought the truck. Austin was honest and straight forward unlike most used car dealerships. I drove the truck home and a day and a half later I woke up to a big puddle of oil under the truck. I called Austin expecting to hear well that sucks, it is a used vehicle though. Austin immediately began working with me and figuring out what was going on. I diagnosed the issue as having bad injectors. Austin offered to pay for the parts which was about $1500.00. (not even technically covered by warranty) it was my only vehicle at the time and I was not able to take the time to work on it. Austin told me to bring the truck back and he would undo our deal and fully refund any penny I paid. I took the truck back and got my old vehicle back which even had a new windshield. Great story right? It got even better, I get on Craigslist today and see that same truck I bought and it says in the description it has injectors out and the price was cut. This is an honest used car dealership which in my experience is very rare. And you can bet Ill check with them next time Im in the market for a vehicle.

Ive been bringing all our cars to James Tire for many years and I know their prices and service are unbeatable.

They took me in right away and explained they had the ties I needed. I was pleased with the price. Very affordable and to think I was willing to pay almost 3 times the amount at Walmart. Walmart wouldn’t take my car because I had missing lugg nuts. I went down to autozone and got the two and paid $4 then James and his staff had no problem putting them on. I will definitely keep coming back and will let others know! Excellent customer service!!

I took my vehicle in for a rough idle issue and they told me that they would check it out and let me know . After a day I went in and asked what they had found and they told me the timing was off. I had them go ahead and do the needed repairs to get it running good again and proceeded to wait for it to be done. they told me it would take four hours so i thought i would be able to have it back within a day or two. it took 3 days for them to finish working on it and i went and picked it up and it still doesnt run good at all. I live a mile away and i barely made it home creeping along at 5 miles an hour. very disatisfied and will never go back there.
