Went in for a Free Brake Inspection since my “Check Brake System” light came on. It turns out it was low voltage on my car battery and affecting the sensors. They went the extra mile and called O’Reilly’s across the street and checked the warranty on my car battery I bought from them. They had a new battery delivered to Brake Masters and they installed a new battery that was under warranty and I didn’t have to pay for a new one.But, I also had my rotors replaced since I was there and had not had a brake service done on my 2014 Ford Explorer before. Definitely will come back to this location when I need them again! John, the owner, is a really nice guy!

I’ve been coming here for quite a while with several different vehicles and they always do a good job and are considerate with my time. They do oil changes on diesel and gasoline powered engines. When it’s time for an oil change I always call Cat at Brake Masters # 167 in Apache Junction. It’s never been unpleasant.

I recommend this location mainly because of John the store manager. He is very knowledgeable, helpful, professional and goes beyond expectations. On time service at a competitive price and quality.

This shop is pretty good, been there 3-4x and always feel they are honest with me plus they let you use multiple online coupons for each visit which is great savings!My only complaint is the tRump 2020 & tRump 2024 dollar bills posted on the wall behind the register lol but family & I discussed the shop is still very worth it & honesty is such a big deal at these businesses so we will forgive their tRumpublicans mistakes!(Obviously we are a blue state now & everyone is entitled to their own opinions-we feel the benefits of savings & honest mechanics outweigh their lack of judgment! Again its all IMO which means I can be wrong & right at the same time!)However I have recommended their shop already to a friend & am about to schedule service for another vehicle with them!

I came in to get an alignment and got quoted just for that. Some issues came up and they ended up replacing my tie rods and doing the alignment and they honored the original quote. The manager was very friendly and extremely helpful. The workers were more than willing to help out and explain things as needed. I was told that I could get my vehicle in right away and that it would take a half hour. While I was sitting there for an hour and 20 minutes, I heard the same promise being made to two others. They also got frustrated with being there longer than they were told. The girl at the front counter even got visually frustrated when one of the customers asked why it was taking so much longer, even raising her voice.When the mechanic came in and told the girl at the front desk that my truck was ready, it still took her another 10 minutes for her to call me up to the counter to pay for the work and get my keys.I was there to get my front end aligned and they did a good job. My truck now drives straight without pulling to the right. I have brought my vehicles there several times over the years and have always been happy with their work. Im just hoping that maybe I hit them on a bad day.

I have been coming to this location for years. Most recently, I bought a used car and decided to get a tune up and make any necessary repairs. There were quite a few things that needed to be done (the car is 18 years old), and John got me the best possible price. He and the mechanic who spent the whole day working on my car stayed an hour and a half after close just to make sure I got my car back that day. The bottom of the car is rusted and they had to painstakingly remove anything that was on that part of the car. They took great care not to damage anything. Aside from just doing an excellent job fixing my car, they were honest, friendly and even came to pick me up when the car was done. This is why I dont take my car anywhere else. Never disappointed. I brought in my 07 Honda Accord into see John and his team.Car was making noise, John took care of the noise and noticed that the rear brakes were at maximum wear. John also advised how he could save me money by doing them now before I ruined my rotors and would have to replace them. John actually showed me where the wear was and why they should be replaced. They repaired my car and so I did not have to wait in he shop, I was provided a ride home. Excellent customer service.

I have to say that I am so happy I came back to get my brakes fixed. These guys are under new management and John was great. He took fantastic care of me and did right by me. Wow... these guys are good. Had my entire front end rebuilt and a water pump installed. Had it done by end of day Saturday. Fair prices and John is very knowledgeable and great customer service. Came in for an oil change. Customer service was great and they didnt take long to get started on my car. My 2 toddlers were with me and they had coloring stuff for them while we waited and were super understanding when they made a little bit of a mess with the snacks I brought for them. Would definitely recommend and Ill be back!

The manager here was great. I had originally gone elsewhere for the oil change but they couldnt remove the plug. I was able to get an appointment quickly. These guys are great. Made recommendations but no sales pressure.

They were very helpful, and really cared about my experience with them. They kept me up to date on what they were doing, and worked with me on the pricing. They made sure to explain everything what was being done so i understood it. I really felt well taken care of and it made me feel important. They didnt try and sell me something I didnt need. Had my truck checked out for steering problems John tatum had it diagnosed within minutes which was my power steering pump also had noticed my water pump was leaking he had them both fixed in a timely manner with a fair price and great service I highly recommend bringing your vehicle here.

I had the pleasure of having my vehicle serviced at Brake Master on Apache Trail in Apache Junction, AZ. The upper radiator hose came off and the wonderful folks at this Brake Masters were able to not only work me into their very busy schedule, but the performed the work very quickly.

This is an update from 5* to 1. You can read my previous review below. After I received service (brake pads, rotors and oil change) I noticed my oil level was still at 15% and it didn’t reset to 100%. After 2 weeks of driving, my car didn’t sound right so my husband checked and showed me that there was no oil (only thing I regretted was I didn’t take a picture to show at brake master and post here). They never gave me an oil change service and I was charged for it. My car totally ran out of oil. I took the car back to brake masters to tell the story and get my money back. They couldn’t refund the money and said can give me a free oil change next time, they made a lots of excuses and swore they did the oil change. At that point I just wanted to get the hell out of there. The Manager Mr Tatum came out to explain. It took them 45 minutes to give my car back which is about the right amount of time to complete a decent oil change. I will never go back to brake masters not even for a free oil change and I don’t recommend their services. Logan was still being himself, tho._____Parts are pricy if you get it from them...like double compared to the auto parts store but the service is excellent and Logan is very helpful patient and professional.

Week and a half ago I put $500 into my truck with these guys that included a battery. Went to start my truck this morning and nothing. Checked the battery cables and I could turn them by hand. I thought great what else is loose on my truck, oil plug or filter. Dont think Ill be going back.

Very honest --Thought my truck needed a brake job per routine maintenance, its been over 3 years since . They checked everything out, tightened and greased up a few things and explained to me that I still had 75% left on my pads / No charge. Could have told me anything - and since I am not a mechanic, I would have not known any better. Much appreciated Brake Masters!

I took my truck in for a repairs they said they would diagnose and give me a call. I received a call later the same day with the estimate and estimated repair completion time. I agreed to the estimate and went in today to pick up my truck. Upon arrival I was explained what my repairs entailed. We went out inspected the truck and it was as clean as when I dropped it off. Absolutely love this place! I got there about 10 minutes after they opened to get a wheel alignment on my 72 gmc jimmy, they got my car in within 15 minutes and was done in less than a hour. Car drives straight down the road. Most places that I called said they couldn’t cars that old. Will be doing business with them from now on. Thanks again!

Been getting my oil changes here the past few times and like that I can be in and out quickly. They also do specials sometimes on oil changes which I like. Last time I was in they recommended I replace my front brake pads which I already knew I needed so was surprised again how quickly they were able to get the oil and brake pads done. Thanks!

I had to make some time to say thanks to the team at Brake Masters in Apache Junction. They were referred to me by a co-worker. I was a little hesitant at first because I live 20 miles from their shop. The ride was well worth it. I went in because my A/C stopped cooling. I knew I had bigger problems because I had tried 2 a/c recharge kits. Mike, the GM, and his team took the time to properly diagnose and repair my vehicle. These guys were professional, transparent and patient. Theyve earned my business and I would refer them to my friends and family. Thanks guys!

Very disappointed with Brake Masters today. We have been going here for over two years and have had no issues. Today to get a simple oil change it took almost 2 hours. We made an appointment and were there 15 minutes early; 7:15am. We did notice a new guy working the counter and a few new guys in the shop. After about an hour we were told that we needed a new air filter. Ok, we said do you have it here or do we need to wait longer and he stated we have it. About 20 minutes later a parts driver showed up and the front office guy ran from the back shop out the front door to meet the parts delivery guy with the filter he said he had LIAR. Wow did you think we were not going to notice. Then to tell us that its cheaper here we did our research, you told us $21.99 after being told it would be cheaper then if we went to any store and at Auto Zone they are $13.99 so yeah you saved us a lot. Also we have a car that is a 2001 and in immaculate shape and never been to a shop for any type of repair just reg maintenance. The guy in the front proceeded to tell us that the cars maintenance schedule and making a point to say you need to get this done. Well we are well aware that our car is in perfect shape and does not need maintenance as we have kept up on everything. Please stop lying and overselling. Your way too obvious and you suck at it and we will NEVER return.

Let me start of by saying, I dont know whats true. I dont know what was put in or taken out of my car. I can only go by what I was told. I really wanted to like these guys. For most of the experience, I felt they were trying really, really hard. I planned on bringing them a cake to say thanks once the car was actually fixed. But I took my car to a specialist because the last time I picked my car up from BM (after over a month of working on it) it was worse than ever. The specialist claimed that the drier was in backwards, the expansion valve that was supposedly replaced (twice) was old, burnt and had debris in it and the numbers on the compressor that he took out didnt match the numbers on the invoice BM gave me. So who am I supposed to believe? This whole deal, from the dealer I bought the car from, to spending hours and hours at BM, to the warranty people, to the specialist that might have fixed the ac but may have messed up other things, has been a nightmare. A complete and utter nightmare. Bottom line, you just never know what youre gonna get. There are proobably plenty of people who have had good experiences with all the companies involved. Just not me.

I have been coming to this Brake Masters for over 8 years. Previously, they had done great work on my vehicles and I recommended them to friends and family. Now, they have been bought out by a corporate entity according to their manager and no longer have any qualified mechanics. I made the mistake of having my wife come here for her car and they have done such poor work that the car has a multitude of problems now that it did not have before. They will not refund any money, discount anything, or even offer a rental vehicle when they keep your car for 5 days from their own mistakes. Have had multiple chances to fix the vehicle and will not. The District Manager DARED me to sue them in small claims court. He has absolutely no customer service skills and is directly rude and offers no solutions, only excuses. Unless you want your car broken, your time wasted and your money lost then avoid this company at all costs. Save yourself the headache.

I rue the day the tow truck dragged our broke ars Jeep in this place. We were traveling thousands of miles from home. Both rear brakes were worked on. We took it back once before we left AZ because the new brakes never quit making noise. . . Ever. Three weeks later the back tire locked up. Another tow truck ride. We were long gone from AZ and BrakeMasters area. Now at home we find out through smoking rear tire the caliper was faulty and locked up. Another repair bill. If youre a traveler do no use these people. They state they will cover a 77.00 shoe of a 600.00 new bill.
