Have gone to this shop several times over the years, always a good experience. Staff is helpful and lets you know exactly what you need serviced. Just had a brake job done last week on my Corolla - they did fast, quality work at a fair price. Will definitely be back!
Owner wanted a $50.00 for a tire change....jajaja
Service was decent enough, nice staff, they did a great diagnostic on my car. unfortunately the labor costs for the repair were about twice as much as the other places I checked.
Revell is professional and reliable and courteous. I had to have a complete check of car. They keep you informed of what needs to be done and estimate of price. since moving to MD 4 yrs. ago, they have been my car care place.
Great place. Guys helped me out in a pinch and pricing was fair. The owner is a great guy who really cares. I’ll be back for any future needs. Thanks!
Five start experience. These guys were up front and honest from the get go with estimates.
What a outstanding place, great service and reasonable prices, and fast! They know what they are doing. Going there from now on, knowledgeable mechanics.
Nothing is worse than coming home from work and noticing a puddle of coolant under your wifes vehicle. On a Saturday at 10am they got me in and had the work done by 3, for what I believe is a fair price.Fast forward exactly 30 days, puddle of coolant again. Call over obviously displeased that there was a leak. No questions asked they took my car in that evening and put it right on the lift. They brought me in the shop to show me the problem; turned out it was another hose, but they didnt hesitate to take a look and I have no doubt that if it had been the same hose they would have made it right. As it was, I had another radiator hose replaced.Prompt service, fair price, commitment to their warranty (which I had no idea about when I called them that second time), Ill pass along a solid recommendation.
Friendly, quick and transparent. Everything youd want from your neighborhood garage.
They saved us! We were on a family trip to the beach when our car got a flat tire. We stopped in shortly before the shop closed on Friday and they happily helped us. Not only were they super friendly and helpful, but their prices were extremely reasonable. I highly recommend them if you need work in the area.
My daughter had her oil changed and was told she needed to have her brake pads replaced. Not sure, so contacted me for advice. I said I will have it done for her and brought the car to my service center. They informed me that the pads were fine (8mm front and 5mm back) and had a lot of miles left on them. Seems as if this place preys on gullible women to create unnecessary work to increase their business. They advertise inexpensive oil change then try to get you on something else, even though it is unnecessary.
Very professional, the staff are experienced master mechanics! Honest and reliable!
SUPER FANTASTIC PLACE! No really, these people are not only great at working on cars but at the same time very friendly and helpful. Ive been taking 4 of my current vehicles here for almost a year now and its been nothing but great each and every time. Fair pricing, great service and a smile to go with it all. Keep up the good work Revell :)
Thank you for saving the day! And don’t forget to watch that documentary!!! Be safe and thanks again.
The staff at Revell Service Center are very kind, professional, and knowledgeable. I had a simple task of switching out my front tires for new ones and they had the job done in about an hour (I work in an office building nearby so I told them to get to it when they could and I would walk back over). I would say the pricing is comparable to other service centers and I will definitely be back again for any other service that I need for my car.
I originally chose Revell because it was close to my house and it had good online reviews. Those reviews are well-deserved...the staff is fantastic! They are professional but not condescending and they are friendly but do not assume closeness that does not exist. The mechanics are very smart & hard working and the man up front always makes me feel like I am his most important customer and that he has everything under control. They stand behind their work, they meet their commitments, and I continue to go see them because I know they will always treat me fairly, repair my car correctly THE 1ST TIME, and will come through for me when its an emergency. In short, this world would be a much better place if every service provider had the same sense of values and level of knowledge of their profession as does the staff at Revell!
Their service is always outstanding. I can count on everything being done the way it should be and maintenance problems found and solved in an outstanding way. Their friendship and attention to duty as well as the outstandingly high competence of their mechanics is greatly appreciated. I am thankful for all that they do. I feel safe driving my cars on long trips, despite their high mileage because of them.
I called to come in to have a head light changed at 7am. They said bring it in when they open the shop area at 8am. I was out by 8:15am. Faster service than a nascar pit stop and very friendly attentive staff at the desk.
Very happy with my recent visit. They did a great job of inspecting my car and recommending needed servicing, but with none of the typical pressure I have run into at other garages.....the always fix it now....dont leave. They provided a very professional explanation of each service and the pricing seemed fair. I would recommend to my friends.
Came outside this morning to a completely flat tire, my insurance sent Roadside Assistance. He was great but unable to get one of the lug nuts off due to Ford screwing them in crooked. I decided to go to this shop since it was so close. They were very friendly and got me in and out, put on my spare tire and replaced all the lug nuts which were stripped for less than $50! Highly recommended.
Beware! Ive taken my vehicles to this shop several times in the past for minor maintenance such as oil changes. I was always leery because theyve always attempted to recommend extra services which usually arent needed and come at a premium price. However, their damaging my vehicle and refusing to acknowledge their mistake was the deal breaker. This time in particular, I brought my vehicle in for an oil change and tire rotation. When I came to pick up the car the brakes were completely non-functioning with no explanation other than brake pedal goes to floor hand written on my invoice. When I asked what happened to my brakes they stated we dont know. I took a closer look revealing that a brake line had become bent along a frame rail causing all of the brake fluid to leak out. It was apparent to me that this likely happened when the vehicle was being lifted or removed from the shop lift. When I advised them that this damage occurred while the vehicle was in their care they denied it and refused to repair it for me. The owner Todd rudely told me I can have it towed and pay to have someone else fix it. I calmly advised him that my vehicle had perfectly functioning brakes upon being left in their shop and that he will have to take care of the problem. He then began to blame the kid in the shop who was the oil/tire change employee. I eventually had to negotiate having them replace the damaged part at their cost (still costed me over $400) before I could drive my vehicle. If you value your hard earned money, vehicles and most importantly safety; please avoid Revell Service Center in Annapolis MD.Im a dissatisfied customer and I approve this message.
First time, great experience.Walked in shortly after opening at 7:30. My truck window was stuck in the down position. Ive had 4 window electrical repairs with this truck in 10 years, so I know there is an ongoing design flaw. They took the truck with no issues, gave me a fair price range ($85 to open door panel and troubleshoot, total $300-500 likely), and promised to call with an estimate before repairs. At my request, they drove me to my job, too! They called around noon to report work complete. Although I never received a call with an estimate, $300 total for a new door master window switch is comparable to my prices at other shops in other states. $115 part, $150 labor, plus tax ($100/hour).Very excited they finished repair the same day. I will be back!
I had two recent positive experiences at Revell having my flat run tires fixed. They fixed my tires while I waited and the total time was about 30 and the cost was about $37.50. The local Mini Car dealership doesn’t fix flat run tires so Revell saved me hundreds of dollars.
These guys are awesome, they do a great job and are very trustworthy.
I have been able to take my cars in without an appointment and have them serviced. pleasant and happy atmosphere with everyone I talk with. fair pricing and and very compitent work. so happy I found such a great place to have my cars serviced!
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. They are with out a doubt the worst service center in Maryland. You’ve got a better chance of a gerbil in a ball fixing your vehicle than this place.
DONT GO HERE!! This place is WAY OVER PRICED. I went in today to get my alternator replaced and I was definitely over charged. THEY CHARGE JUST AS MUCH IF NOT MORE AS THE DEALERSHIP. They initially tried to charge me over 600 dollars to replace my alternator and ended up dropping it down to 595- SOME DISCOUNT! Stupidly I told them to go ahead and start the work, but out of curiosity something told me to call and get quotes from some other shops. I found a shop with excellent reviews called PIT STOP in Crownsville that could replace it for 325 dollars. I told PIT STOP how much I was being charged and they flat out said I was being ripped off. By the time I called back 15 minutes later to cancel Revell said it was too late and that my tab was already at 320 dollars. Really!!?? I called several other shops and even the dealership and they were ALL CHEAPER THAN THIS PLACE!IF YOU LIKE WASTING MONEY GO HERE!!Labor- 272 dollarsParts (Alternator)- 306.76Total: (with a supposed 100 dollars off)- 595.85
I made it to the door. Person at the desk did not have a mask on. So I went somewhere else.
They dont explain thoroughly of what needs to be done until after you have everything finished and the lights on your vehicle still come on
Second time I have visited Revell. This time for tire repair. Very prompt, courteous and friendly. Very fair pricing for services rendered. Will definitely return!!
When I brought my car in for a diagnostic on a problem I had they didnt just simply tell me the problem, they brought me in to the shop and specifically showed and explained what was wrong. Very easy to work with and accommodating. You normally dont have to make an appointment if its your normal oil change, tire rotation, etc. Just give them a call and let them know youre coming.
I was having work done on my car just waiting. A husband and wife where traveling and had a break down with major repairs. They asked how long? Todd knew they wanted to get going on vacation. Todd went out of his way to ensure they could get work done and not have a hotel bill. It’s nice to see some people care about helping others. They where very thankful.
Up there as one of the best mechanics Ive taken my car to. They got everything done right on time and the work is solid. Really great people to deal with. Definitely my go to place.
A great trustworthy place to get my car serviced. They get the job done right the first time the same day. My whole family goes there.
I always take my Durango here for fast, low-price oil changes! I love the professional, kind customer service and will definitely be going back for any and all of my bigger maintenance needs.ETA: I also love that I NEVER feel like I’m getting hustled into unnecessary add-ons. I definitely can’t say that about other oil change places and mechanics I’ve visited.
Fixed a tire stem right away. A little expensive but stuck with the agreed upon price.
I went into the gas station this morning and must have left the light on. Seeing this place a few feet from me, I walked up and asked if I could borrow a jump box for a minute. My car was only a few feet away.I was told $40 . I asked to borrow your box for a minute? The price didnt really shock or upset me. What was said next did. The service person shouted at me LOOK! NOTHINGS FREE! I have been in the Automotive Service Industry for 20 years myself and I was on the way to work at my dealership.before my mishap. We do certain things as favors all the time. Its part of customer service. I get asked for recommendations for shops all the time. I have actually been asked about this establishment before and Said Ive heard that they do good work. My answer from now on will be STAY AWAY in the same shouting voice that I heard this morning.
Fast service for car work. Limited parking and horrible location during rush hours. I never had an issue so far.
I blew a tire enroute to work in Annapolis. Long commute and needed to get the tire replaced before heading home. I had never done business with Revell Service Center but they had good reviews and were close. Brought the car in and got a ride back to work. Four new tires and an alignment completed and they came back to pick me up to get the car. Superb service. Great shop.
I recently stopped by Revell Service Center for an oil change. Their service was quick, friendly, and I enjoyed chatting with the other clients in the waiting room. I had a great visit and just wanted to send a big thank you!!
My experience started when I had broken down a bit off of the bay bridge with a flat tire. So I called the closest towing place which had been Revell, and asked if they had tires for my vehicle. When the guy responded that they did, I asked if they could tow me to their shop and replace my tire so I could make my way home. The guy immediently told me I should get both front ones done, which I agreed to. It would turn out that when they were putting the first tire on and drove around to test it that according to them the other tire blew in there parking lot. Wether or not that actually happened I do not know nor do I particularly care. That is because my inspection was due in a couple months anyway and I would have failed on that tire regardless. I ended up chatting with the guy mentioning that I lived in PA and was just visiting for the summer. He then mentioned how I should get all four tires replaced and if I wanted he could do the other two another time. I told him that since I wanted to go home and aren’t usually around this area I’d pass but thanked him for the advice. After around an hour I was ready to go and left the shop thinking at the very least that they were good people. That had happened a month and a half ago. Taking the advice of the mechanic who had done my car. I took my car to a mechanic in PA to get my two other tires replaced. That was when I found out that Revell had put on the wrong size tires on my car. They had exceeded what was allowed for my brand of car and while they are fairly common tires to have, they would insure I failed inspection as well as mess with my alignment going forward. He recommended I call the place I got the tires from and see what could be done because in his words ‘it’s obviously a mistake on their part and nobody would give me a hard time about wanting what I paid for’. So I figured I’d call Revell and inform them of the issue, get my tires switched out for correctly sized tires when I could on the following Friday when I’d head back. Unfortunate when I called I ended up talking to the guy who did my car, which I recognized from the sound of his voice. After explaining the situation he told me ‘since it was an emergency we needed to get you out so it’s okay to put those tires on.’ I responded with something along the lines of ‘um no, it is not okay for you to put the incorrect sized tires on my car. I had called and specifically asked if you had tires for my car and you had also not even informed me that you were putting the incorrect size tires on my car. Emergency or not, I would have said no and figured out what to do from there.’ He ended up telling me to take it in and he would ‘see what he could do’. When I responded that I’m actually in PA he quickly said ‘oh I remember you, yeah you were talking about how you were visiting the area for the summer’. After realizing who I was he quickly changed his tune from ‘let’s see what I could do’ to ‘sorry it was an emergency so it’s allowed’ leaving me to the conclusion that he didn’t view me as a future contributor to his pocket and therefore my service being wrong didn’t matter. I called back Monday and upon being transferred to another person then after explaining the issue he mentioned that they do that all the time to get people out of the shop. When I said how that was unacceptable and I want the correct sized tires for my car which I had paid for. He then told me how it would still pass Maryland state inspection, to which my response was that I didn’t care about Maryland inspection since I live in PA. He would then tell me ‘just ask anybody that does inspection, you’ll definitely pass a Maryland inspection. Completely ignoring my response of ‘I live in PA and am much more concerned about that inspection, plus I want the correct size tires on my vehicle.’ He would them tell me that there’s nothing he could do since he’s not the owner. Then after I asked to speak with the owner I have been getting flighty responses.
Total for oil change $20.60 tax incl. good price, and done fast. Im not willing to pay more for oil changes. Keep the price and all future oil changes I will do here. Waiting room and restroom was nice, and clean.
Aaron treats you like you treat him! Him and Todd (owner) have always treated me well! I take many fleet vehicles from my work there for routine maintenance!
Being someone who lives on a fixed income, I really appreciate Revells concerning oil changes (buy 4 get 1 free). You guys have truly earned my business! I will certainly be back for future auto service needs.
I had the most pleasant experience, the entire staff was very nice and friendly. Everyone was willing to help in any way they could, appreciate the work ethic and integrity of your employees.
Been going here for 2 years for my BMW and Toyota. Friendly, honest and good work at a fare price.
Had a flat tire, they had us back on the road quickly. Fair prices with quick friendly service
They suck and the owner was very unprofessional.
Never will I ever take another car to them. I usually only use them for oil changes but refuse to even do that in the future. Worst customer service Ive ever experienced. Would not take responsibility for anything. After replacing the part, all the system warning lights were on and they tried to say that theyve been on for at least a month, telling me that my girlfriend was probably driving the car for that month and just refused to have it checked saying I just havent taken care of the car cause the WINDOWS were dirty......seriously.....I guess dirty windows make your car break down these days!!!!! So they personally insulted my girlfriend by saying shes too stupid to take care of her car! Morons!!!! Years ago I took my other car to them for an oil change and the mechanic tried to tell me it needed a serpentine belt. I checked with 2 other mechanics who said it was a lie...NEVER NEVER AGAIN!!! They dont know how to fix newer cars!
I called and brought my SUV in for repair the same day. Was given a ride home, quick estimate and repair. Would recommend.
Lost my business after nearly 20yrs, ever since Bob left its gone downhill. Ive been getting service and oil changed here for all my vehicles and was ripped off today- SAD! All of a sudden, theyre using vehicle specific oil filters and up charging for services, pathetic!! Never Again, and all over an extra $15, thanks for the $5 coupon crooks!!!
They replaced my engine with a Jaspers remanufactured and did a great job. Not much of a harder job so if they can pull off this than they should be able to handle others that are more challenging
Quick service. Friendly crew! The repairs on my vehicle went smoothly. I was treated very well by them.
Friendly service shop, estimates not very good.
Awesome work. Great guys, great price, super fast service.
Friendly and fast!
IN AND OUT QUICKLY. GREAT EXPERIENCE
Revell has reached the highest regard to which I hold companies...they are almost mythical status! One of the best service groups I have ever experienced.
I drove in without an appointment because my turn signals were not working. I was back on the road in under 30 minutes. it was only a lightbulb but I received fast and courteous service.
Replaced bumper and installed fog lights
Every time I go into this facility, the service is just terrific! Their prompt and knowledgeable staff will have you recommending their services just as I am.
NEVER USE THIS COMPANY! NEVER! My wife went in for an oil change and tire rotation. She called while there and said she was told the rear brakes were “metal to metal” and should be repaired. At a cost of around $470. The car has 30K miles on it and we had never heard any brake sounds so I said “no”. I took the car to another mechanic for a second opinion. He called me back and said he could not in all honesty, change out my rotors and pads because they still had half their life left. NOTICE THE KEY WORD HERE IS HONESTY! This mechanic said I was about the third person that had come to him after going to Revell for a second opinion and each time they had been given dishonest information from Revell Service Center. This shop emphasizes the old phrase “I’d just like to find an honest mechanic”. NEVER USE THEM!
Friendly service in a timely manner! Definitely going back again for any car troubles!
Very nice, honest, and timely.
The Revell team is always professional, competent and competitively priced. I look for great service and good prices and I find them at Revell.
Took 2 of my cars in to get repaired. Both times I had issues after the repair. The first time, because of what they had done incorrectly, cost me another $2000. Thinking it was an honest mistake I tried a second time on my other car. They installed a used rear differential and didnt change the old seals. Speaking with several other service stations, they all said they would change seals on any used part without question. Not Revell, 300 miles later they were leaking and they refused to take any repsondsablilty. Stay away from them. They will burn you. I wish I learned my lesson the first time.
Best place in town. Great service and care for customers.
Good and fast customer service
As an out-of-towner, I had to put my trust in an unknown service provider to begin with, and Revell promised to take care of the problem and be completely honest about what needed to get done. What ensued was the most horrendous car experience of my life! In the end, I returned to my home state with the same issue I had taken my car to Revell to fix, AND they created a new problem when they supposedly fixed the initial issue. When I contacted them to try to work with me to refund some of the money, since they not only didnt fix the problem, but created a new one, they refused to budge. I even had my mechanic contact them, as he was as livid as I was at what had been done, and they wouldnt take any responsibility. They just kept saying, if I could bring the car to them, they would remedy the situation. Not only would I never let them lay a finger on my car, I couldnt, living two states away - how convenient for them!
The staff here at Revell are the best; right up there with the select few I hold such a high regard for. I cant thank you enough!
Timely and responsive to all my needs. Thank you.
RevellSS is very comprehensive and thorough. Thank you.
Ran by a bunch of crooks. Do not give them your business.
Got my car in fast! They did exactly what I asked them to do and were very friendly!
Revell is consistent in customer service, integrity and professionalism. I will not go anywhere else.
Issue has been resolved. Thanks
Ive tried this place numerous times and have never been happy. They gouge on price and I dont really trust that what they say needs to be done really does. They are rude when you dont buy their recommended services. Personally, Im staying away!
We had a locked up brake and couldnt make it across the bay bridge, all we asked for was a tool to fix it ourselves or if there was anything they could do. Indian dude said, sorry, cant help you.
Convenient location, prompt, good service.
Prepare your wallet
This place takes care of all my car needs. What sets this place apart from others is they can fix a lite bulb to an electronic problem. Try to find that under 1 roof!
Very friendly
Caused more damage to car.
Untrustworthy
