Completely inconsistent relative to the downtown locations. Random things like bacon egg and cheese not available while being readily available and warm in pretty much every other location. No toaster so the sandwiches you get must be heated up in a communal microwave…during COVID. Drinks come out looking different/ mixed differently depending upon the location. Staff seems clueless that their offerings are coming up short of the various other locations. As a long time fan, I made the mistake of coming to the Plymouth road location. Don’t do this. Go to the one on Washington.

Love this loccation, the lobby is always clean, several different places to sit. Amazing staff as well, theyre fast and give great service. 10/10

This is q great coffee shop in the Ann Arbor area. Its an enjoyable place to grab coffee, a specialty drink, a smoothie or something small to eat. Their selection is quite nice and everything tastes pretty good. Ive enjoyed this location for getting some work done and a great pace to get out of the house to. Id recommend this place and love going there myself.

Love this place...great space for reading, writing, or whatever you have to work on. Its nice and bright but no visual clutter to distract you. Staff is friendly and helpful. I really like their Ice Dragons and the ginger lemon tea is so good. The pasta salad is good, too.

Visiting from out of state and found Sweetwaters to be inviting and welcoming. I went in twice and the staff was very friendly and helpful in explaining some of their beverages to me. When I wanted a house blend coffee they were very accommodating in giving me cream on the side since I don’t know how I “take it” at their shop. I also had a delicious scone and coffee cake on my visits and am looking forward to returning for more. Thank you for the great experience.

Consistent performance. Clean, well-lit, airy environment thats not particularly noisy. Very nice outdoor seating (season permitting) in two different areas. Dedicated parking lot with slots regularly available by the entrance.

The French toast muffins are fantastic! The chocolate chip cookies might be even better...

I am so happy Sweetwaters Plymouth Green re-opened. The cafe is newly renovated and beautifully designed. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable of all the products. I was unsure on what to order, and a lovely barista guided me through the menu. I ultimately decided on the Dreamy Cold Brew. She explained how they made the cold brew. They let the coffee steep in cold water for 18 hours in order to achieve a smooth and slightly sweet coffee. Let me tell you, it was the best cold coffee drink I have ever had. I will certainly be coming back again soon. Additionally, I love the diversity of the menu, customers, and staff members. The global / diverse aspects of Sweetwaters Plymouth Green is what makes it great!

I had a coffee and it was just like Tim Hortons, good stuff.

Having never been to a Sweetwaters before I wasnt sure what to expect. The Great Pumpkin Latte I had was really good, but the White Chocolate Mocha my friend had was one of the best I have ever had. I also tried the blueberry crumble which was excellent as well. The staff was friendly and inviting. Music was just loud enough in the background to be relaxing but not enough to make you have to shout to talk to someone next to you. The store was clean, saw staff quickly clean up after patrons left. The prices are in line with what you would expect for a coffee shop but the flavor was on another level. I would definitely recommend stopping in for a coffee, tea or both. Wish we had a Sweetwaters down in central Florida!!

Service was fast, accurate and hygienic. Prices in-line with expectations.Beverages were good.Bu those and some food items lacked some disclosure of ingredients, so ask if you have some allergies.

These folks are awesome!! I called them from Albuquerque NM to place an order in an effort to support small local businesses. They went the extra mile literally, putting together a Christmas gift bag and then delivered it to a very special person for me. I cant thank them enough. Their personal touch is what makes small businesses like Sweetwaters Cafe so great.

My family and I came here for a sweet treat on a Sunday morning. The cafe was very accommodating when making hot chocolates for my kids as the temperature was not too hot. We also tried the coffee that is blended with ice cream which was so good. The only criticism I have of this place is the price ($4 for a cinnamon roll, $6 for a slice of quiche, $6 for a coffee drink, etc.), but that’s kind of expected in Ann Arbor. Definitely a nice change of pace from your typical Starbucks fare.

I have enjoyed this cafe in the past, but was extremely disappointed today. The employees seemed completely incompetent. They got every aspect of my order wrong and did not apologize for it. Why am I paying money to receive the wrong orders and then be treated poorly when they were the ones who got it wrong? It baffles me. Coffee tasted...well, not like anything: so diluted, almost just like hot water. After they got my first pastry order wrong, they replaced it with something straight out of the refrigerator, so it was cold and hard.Furthermore, the employees did not seem at all concerned about staying sanitary. I saw the cashier handling cash and coins, and then go on to touch cups, lids and pastry goods without sanitizing/washing her hands. During the midst of this pandemic, that is disturbing. I will certainly not be returning. You can get much better coffee and baked goods at Plum Markets Zingermans just right next door.

Great staff, great store, always great coffee!

Coffee is very good and staff are friendly and courteous. Only issue is the food prices. The sausage egg and cheddar is $9. You buy it cold and then have to warm it up in the microwave yourself. $9 for that is way out of proportion. I would like sweetwaters to comment and justify the price.

Not a huge coffee person. This place is expensive and often the price doesn’t seem worth it. Not bad stuff just overpriced.

Not feeling the toast it yourself center. Too open and not covid friendly. As well customers need to be advised while ordering so they can make that determination to proceed or change selection.

Their frozen drinks are great, but their hot drinks (not teas) taste like lightly flavored hot water.

Decent coffee but very good food and snacks. Environment is perfect for a cafe, fireplace and quiet atmosphere, great if you want to come and relax, get work done, or just enjoy some Java.

They dont offer my salted caramel snowball anymore 😭 but they have plenty of other drinks I enjoy. They have a fireplace, comfortable chairs, a quiet atmosphere. Private, unisex restrooms with baby changing tables are available in the back. They also offer catering when you order ahead. Have a beautiful time 😁

Nice to see this place open again! Very convenient, local, good hot coco and friendly counter staff. This place is almost like a community gathering site for people who live around here. I thought this place would be gone for good but I’m glad they’re back in business!

Really nice local coffee shop. Plenty of room for. Small meeting, to get some work done and study, or to just sit and enjoy your drink. There is outdoor seating as well. I like that they have multiple brews ready to go all of the time.

Love the coffee, teas, and pastries here! Very friendly staff and the ambiance is so cozy. I love to come here to get some work done or to meet with clients. Good news for U-M students, staff, and faculty: I hear that a catering menu is now available and that its likely that this location may soon be able to take U-M shortcodes.

I got off the highway looking for a Starbucks and found this place instead. Wonderful coffee! So glad I happened upon this nice shop.

They have the best Thai Iced Tea I have ever tried. They also have a variety of yummy pasties and their coffee is way better than Starbucks.It can get a bit busy but its definitely worth stopping at to give it a try.

I like this location. The staff are nice and every spot is a window seat. Plus their espresso is still the best in town. Not bitter like you get pretty much everywhere else. Smooth and delicious.

Really good. I had a cappuccino and a piece of broccoli cheese quiche. The quiche was really cheesy with chunks of broccoli. Great crust. Cappuccino hit the spot. Will be back.

Lucked out to be staying close by to Sweetwaters during a visit. Nice selection of baked goods and sandwiches, great espresso drinks. Nice cozy interior space.

Cute place. I really wanted to like it. The taste of the lemon tea was over poweringly sweet. The cookie and pastry were very old and stale. My husband had a latte that was great. Just stay away from the tea and baked goods.

I love this place. Its my go to for majority of my meetings. They have a good selection of teas and coffees. I enjoy their french Vietnamese au lait and cocoa cappuccino. I like that they offer a variety of seating spaces. The big table with barstools is where I usually sit. Good number of charging ports. At times it is difficult to find space. The toilets are very clean. Ideal for a corporate meeting!

My favorite coffeeshop in all of Ann Arbor. Their drinks are always delicious. The environment is pleasant and welcoming. They never fail to exceed my expectations. A great place to study, grab coffee with a friend, or stop by for a quick treat with your sibling. 5/5!

The coffee and food is great. The Vibe is fantastic. The Wifi works! You can tell the owners care about making a wonderfully warm place and a great social local addition to the area. This place is my favorite spot for working and hanging out with friends.

Very chill place to get some reading and quiet time in with a pot of tea. Tables could be a bit bigger though and the chairs arent very comfortable for long term sitting. Staff is kind and polite but nothing exceptional can really be said on this front. Good overall experience and would suggest trying it for yourself.

My go to place to work on my assignments every week. Like their assortment of coffees and teas. Their Cafe Aut Lait is my all time favorite.

I like the atmosphere and their muffins are delicious. There are about 6 chairs around the fireplace which are super comfy but I think the rest are little uncomfortable especially if you plan to stay for more than a hour.

A little expensive but worth every penny. Try the Napali Brew and your life will be better by leaps and bounds.

This rating is for their catering. I ordered boxed coffee two hours in advance. Upon my arrival 30 minutes after the scheduled pickup, the coffee had not even been made.
