If this place wasnt inside a library it would have went out of business long ago. This is the first time Ive had a bad coffee from a Sweetwaters, and it wasnt just bad. It was like dishwater and the guy making it took over 10 minutes for the one drink and after all the ice melted he topped it off withore ice (iced caramel latte). Avoid this place if possible. I feel bad for the poor victims that use this library, they deserve better.
Went in for breakfast and the girl was not very pleasant. Quite rude. As I was putting my mask on, she rudely told me to put my mask on before I came into the store. Should have left at that moment. No smiles and she was very poorly dressed. While we were ordering, she received a phone call and was rude to the person on the phone. It was her tone of voice that was so rude. Coffee tastesd burnt and the egg and cheese bagels were extremely bland and chewy. No napkins were offered with our food as is customary for restaurant takeout.
Really good drinks. Sand which was pretty average
Love the options at Sweetwaters. Hot and cold drinks as well as food. Dairy free milk options and usually some gluten free food options as well. Free wifi too. This location is attached to/opens to the library. You can go in from the Sweetwaters entrace even before the library opens to use a work room or play in the kids area. The back library door is closed so park out front if you dont want to hike around to the Sweetwaters main entrance.Add: love this place 😆 (See picture)
Tasty selection of coffee. Also allows the Ann Arbor District Library Westgate Branch to have extended hours. Those extended hours are nice for us regular library patrons. Especially on the weekends when the other branches close earlier
Does not except cash.
Adding a sweet waters to the library at west gate was inspired. The library has become a real community hub on the west side, and its fantastic that a local coffee shop rather than a national chain has set up shop. My kids are learning to place orders and give tips there. Less bohemian than downtown, but a stronger local element than downtown as well. Thanks for imagining this!
This is one of my favorite places to study! Lots of families come here, so its a nice change of pace from most student-saturated study venues in the Ann Arbor area. The coffee is great and the staff is even better, always willing to help and make sure you get what you like.
I like that coffee place. Just so nice to have it within the library. Price are good service perfect drink as expected. One of my fav place in town.
Closed on Mondays!
5 Stars for Quality, 2 Stars for Atmosphere. Im thrilled to have a Sweetwaters in this location, but unfortunately the atmosphere is greatly influenced by the library and the result is somewhat institutional. Sadly, it feels more like a hospital lobby coffee shop than a place I really want to spend a lot of time in. You should still check it out - I mean the coffee is still great and you may not mind! It just wasnt a comfortable environment to me.
Delicious, quick service, and very convenient! I love getting a delicious latte every time I need to drop by the library
I absolutely love this Sweetwaters. Its wonderful to get their ginger-lemon tea & sit in the library. Its also wonderful that the library is open for browsing and internet as soon as Sweetwaters opens in the morning. Perfect for working away from the office or school.
I like Sweetwaters a lot, but for some reason at this one every time I try to use my Sweetwaters reward they say it will go through when I swipe and then I end up paying and still having a reward on my account. I cant figure out how theyll let me actually redeem the reward, because this hasnt happened at the other locations. Otherwise its a cute shop and I love that this one is right in the library.
Inside the public library in the strip mall. Wish the door was marked better. But good coffee, I appreciate the unique drinks and Asian flare.
My wife 8 and a half months pregnant, walked in here today & they would not expect her payment cause it was cash. But they expect tips in cash? How is that even real?
Something for everyone. Great Sweetwaters coffee and tea in a modern library and community meeting space. If the tables in the cafe dont fit your mood slide to the back of the library and grab a chair in front of the fireplace.
I didnt buy anything, this time of passing through, but I know they have great coffee from my past experience. They have a lot of wonderful looking pastries and treats, but the prices seem too high so I had to pass.
Convenient, for sure! Mostly good service. But coffee is never that good, and never good food choices. Too many sweets that are too big/heavy/caloric. Theyve added more savory lunch type options in the last few years, but still nothing I would consider ordering.
My sister and I were looking for a movie at the library and there was a coffee shop right there! Very delicious and made me with that all libraries have a Sweetwaters next door/ inside.
Usually solid drinks when I visit, but the barista today seemed not super into it. Latte was pretty bad, with burnt-tasting espresso, little body, and no foam at all on the top. Still, Ill be back as its generally fine. Location in the library is fun!
Great coffee, lots of books in library location, if I lived in AA would be a goto place for sure
I had a delightful experience with a barista named Isaiah. He helped me select a drink and size, and made me feel relaxed at the front of the line despite not knowing what I was getting. This Sweetwaters has a nice layout and the added bonus of being integrated into the Westgate branch of the library!
CRUSHING IT!! Best bagels, great deli! Theres a reason this place wins all the awards!
I loved being verbally accosted by one of the employees who didnt hear me say thank you when they held the door open for me.
Coffee was very hot but slightly bitter, not sure if it was old or just the bean
Located inside the district library in West gate shopping place. Got great coffees.
Apple Caramel chai iced was delish!
The male baristas working on 9/28 around 10 AM were awesome! Thanks for the Instagram-worthy pumpkin spice latte.
Prompt, friendly service with a selection of drinks and foods.
The sweet waters is a good addition to the library but the pastry always seems to be overpriced.
Always decent when I go here. People are usually friendly. Like it
This is located in the library. Always friendly, love the cappuccinos at sweetwaters.
Nice setting in library. Coffee is a darker roast than I prefer.
I really appreciate the work of the barista, Bailey.
Standard overpriced liquids. tasty though
Quality ingredients, nice staff..
Always fabulous here
I asked hot and fresh coffee, instead I got cold and old one, and I have to leave it.
YUM! Love their tea and coffee.
Love it here, so quiet and great beverages!
Always friendly service with a small.

It is a shop that focuses on sweet coffee arrangements. There is also regular coffee, but the typical menu is sweets such as cream caramel. The cream caramel was a latte with a fairly sweet and thick cream, and I was just fine with the small size. We can also recommend seasonal menus. The price was also reasonable. Besides coffee, we also sell tea and chai. There are also sweets such as scones.Since it is connected to the library, you can enjoy a drink while reading a book or using a computer. There are also terrace seats. The doorway is manual, but there is also a button for opening and closing, so you can enter the store without problems even with a wheelchair.
Excellent
