The proprietor is a devotee who clearly puts his heart and soul into everything he serves. His enthusiastic explanations of techniques and flavor combinations are as much of a treat as the drinks themselves. Me and mine have never been disappointed with anything from their menu and agree unanimously that they have the best pour over coffee in the city.

Love the well-balanced flavors here. The chai (19 drips tea?) taste like it was brewed from real tea and spices instead of sugary powder, and did not taste too sweet! The coffee and espresso drink are so smooth and pleasant. I dont consume caffeine everyday but always enjoy getting something from here as a treat :)

The 19s Tea is the absolute best! Theres nothing like it around. I highly recommend it both hot and iced (though iced is not the traditional way to enjoy it). The mint tea with cardamom is also unique and refreshing. Dont forget to grab a honeycomb to enjoy while sipping your coffee or tea inside or outside at the cafes tables.

A delight for all five senses! Trade the noise of Stadium Boulevard for a warm, clean ambience that calms you the moment you enter. The quiet music is excellent for studying, thinking, and creative productivity. Forget that acrid burned coffee smell from Starbucks and enjoy a gentle aroma of perfectly roasted coffee beans. The tea is as pleasing to look at as it is to drink and you absolutely must try their house blend. I will be back!

Probably the smoothest, best tasting espresso drinks I have had in Ann Arbor. Nice, simple, not crowded ambiance. Great staff. They have house blend coffee beans which I got to try at home. Absolutely amazing in my espresso machine and my French press.

This is my favorite place in town for a chai latte, and my daughter says shes never had a better iced vanilla latte.

Today I tried a vanilla white chai and Ive not had a better cup to this day. Ive searched since I was a teen for an actual GOOD cup of chai and so far, 3 of my top 5 favorites Ive discovered here in Michigan. 19 Drips is my #2 pick for sure, they deserve your business!The barista was knowledgeable about every tea and coffee he had in stock which I find is rare now-a-days.I also had a pour over that hardly needed the cream and sugar I put in, flavorful, full of body, and definitely worth a try.

Best coffee in the area, hands down. You can tell they really care and know their stuff. They only charge like 15 cents extra for a pour over too, A++. They also have coconut milk, the best alternative milk for coffee for my Fiances drinks. If you havent had a coconut milk latte, youre missing out, its the creamiest.Super nice guys, family owned and theyre happy to offer free (knowledgeable) car maintenance advice :DDid I mention that they do everything by weight, even the syrups? That leads to ULTIMATE consistency, every drink comes out perfect. They also had temperature controlled kettles for teas/pour overs so every variable is accounted for (no brews at boiling or 180 degrees here!).I know Ill be back.

This place is awesome, its unique and authentic. They have the best coffee and tea. The father and son team that own this place are really good guys. I just moved into town and they treat me like family. They specialize in tea from Adeni Yemen called 19 teas which has an exotic mix of blend. I highly recommend you to stop in.

Wish I lived closer to this coffee shop! I was running errands in the area and drove by this shop.. Decided to drop in and am completely in love! The barista was an absolute gentleman. I couldnt help myself and ordered more pastries than I should be eating, but no regrets. Their seasonal apple cinnamon muffin was delicious. Had to try their popular honey bread and it was so yummy. Prices are so reasonable. My coffee was made fresh. Like... fresh fresh. Beans were grinded right before it was brewed. Cant wait to go back here!

The young man making drinks was super friendly and happy to serve up an *amazing* 19s (Chai) Tea, coffee and the Honeycomb pastries were to die for. Family atmosphere

I was looking at exploring a new coffee shop on a bright winter afternoon and fortunately I came across this place on Google. Its the best hole in the wall kinda cafe which serves great coffee! Ive been obsessed with oat milk iced lattes lately and theirs is the best in Michigan, no doubt!

I’ve driven by this place a bunch of times, but have never stopped in. Wish I had tried it sooner! Great coffee and really nice people. I’ll be back!

My favorite treat to myself is a soy latte with caramel or vanilla. Ive learned that I have to choose carefully where I get this -- so many coffee shops suffer from burnt espresso, over-heating the milk, or *way* overdoing it on the caramel/vanilla. When my partner brought home a latte for me from a shop I hadnt been to, I was skeptical. O.M.G. This is one of the best lattes Ive ever had.

I went in because the owner used to work at my old mechanics shop and was always very kind looking out for me as my car grew older. I went in because of my fondness for him, but I was blown away by the coffee! I had the pour over drip coffee and it was absolutely WONDERFUL! Great owners and great coffee! Ill be back for sure!

I’m 12 years old, and went to 19 drips coffee and tea with my parents and 9 year old younger brother earlier today, and was very happy about how great it was. The pastries are excellent, and far better than the average coffee shop pastry. We tried the honeycomb and sabaya. I tried the 19’s tea and it was delicious. The atmosphere is very calming and easy to work in. I’m quoting my little brother here: “I don’t usually like tea, and I love this tea.”

This is a great new addition to the Ann Arbor coffee scene. To start, the space has a lot of natural lighting and has a warm decor. There are quite a few tables/chairs and soft seating.The baristas (father/son) are really nice, friendly, and make a great coffee. The pour over is well-executed and the prices are more than fair.Hours are great for studying and right beside a great tamale place - what more could you ask for? Highly recommend.

I love having a small, locally-owned coffee shop (with actually good drinks!) over in my corner of Ann Arbor! Saeed and his father are incredibly friendly every time I come in, and everything Ive tried so far has been delicious. Im currently addicted to their 19s Tea, or Adeni tea. (I believe its a recipe for chai from the city where Saeeds father is from.) It has been great to walk over to this little café, have a yummy drink, and get some work done in the quiet ambiance.

Great coffee and wonderful service. The cafe is modern and cozy. It was not crowded at all. The barista had in-depth knowledge of coffee brewing and growing practices. I have had issues finding a cafe that serves good fair trade/otherwise-ethically-sourced coffee and this is my new spot! The barista said that the coffee is sourced directly from a family who owns a farm in Ethiopia. I ordered a pour over and it was worth the wait! I was also excited to see Sabaya on the menu (a layered bread that is great dipped in honey or maple syrup) though I didnt have the space in my belly to try it this time. I will definitely be going back.

Ive stopped by here twice and both times the owners were friendly and happy to talk me through their coffee and tea selections! Ive had a cafe con miel and a cardamom latte, plus my husband got a cafe au lait. All were delicious - not overly sweet, but still flavorful. Im not an expert, but I really like the coffee here - it isnt too bitter. The cafe is clean with comfortable seating, pleasant lighting, and good WiFi. I think it would be a nice place to study or do some work. I came once with my toddler and the owners were very kind as we walked him through the cafe. The prices are right on point and, compared to some other local options, are even a bit cheaper for what I feel is a superior product. Highly recommended!
