Sometimes an appointment is actually an appointment and sometimes it’s not. Front desk is polite and I’m sure the service is just fine. But sit here for hours after your appointment start time with your car untouched in the lot (enjoying the sound of constant unanswered ringing phones) and you start to wonder if they aren’t a little optimistic about what they can squeeze in to a day. If you have alternate transpo and can leave your car all day perhaps this location can meet your needs.

My car was damaged because they did not use the correct jacking point to lift the car. Very upset. What is more troubling is the attitude of the workers when I talked to them about the damage. They were like this is my car’s problem, not theirs and things like this happen. I have my car lifted at Costco many times and never had any issues. Only once at Discount Tire and now it is like this.

Great helpful staff. We didnt have an appointment. Ended up needing new tires. Got us in and out within 2 hours. Im sure it would have been quicker if we had an appointment. Made sure we were satisfied before leaving.

I had an appt at Discount Tire yesterday and when I went in to pick up my vehicle, there was a gentlemen at the counter being very rude and condescending to the staff member behind the counter. KUDOS to the staff member who remained very calm during the customers temper tantrum. Dont know that I could have contained myself the way this customer was acting. REDICULOUS! The staff member remained calm and collective through this customers screaming and acting like a 2 year old child.

Bryan saved the day! I was having trouble making sure I got all of the labor day deals on time (entirely my fault for taking so long), and he went above and beyond to help me out. He saved me about $200. Thanks so much! Awesome customer service.

Excellent customer service. They will work with you to get you back on the road as quickly as possible. Appointments are recommended if you have a deadline. If you dont mind waiting, it can be about 2 hours or less for a full set of 4 tires with TPMS to be replaced.

Tried to take off for a trip and got a flat close to home luckily. Called and stopped in, was taken care of extremely fast and back on the road in no time. By the way we had a dog a baby and full luggage, they took care of us while we were in the car no problem!

Called 8 times and got no answer, went in for a tire patch and was told it would be 2 days before they could do it. I sure wish they had answered the phone instead of making me drive all the way out there to be disappointed.

I had a set of 17 aftermarket wheels that I needed tires for. Everywhere else wanted a lot more for a simple set of all season tires. In and out in less than an hour, with an appointment. Good doods.

Came in with a tire that was losing air and was expecting either a new tire or rim. I set an appointment online and dropped off early. They were helpful and even got my car done early.I received a text and a call when my car was ready. They told me that there was only corrosion on the rim. They cleaned it- no new tire or rim. Free of charge! I offered to give them money anyway for their time and they said no- just come back when I’m ready for new tires. I will definitely be back!

Well it started off with a COOPER TIRE RECALL. When I called to check procedure on what to do, the counter man said, just bring it in and we will check them. Well I dropped everything and drove right to the store were I bought the tires, then when I got there the counter man said we dont have time to look at them right now. So I made an appointment for two days later. After waiting 1.5 hrs the truck was almost done. They had taken the tires off and started to put new tires on, even before checking if they were the tires to be recalled. During the process a pressure sensor was triggered and the lights came on. So what should have been a 15 min. Job, Took Two hours.

This place is great! Highly recommended. Courteous staff, kind and professional service, very well organized. Chris, a awesome part of the staff, even explained my kids who were watching from far how the tire patch was done. This was a fantastic example how you can attract customers!

Had to have the air pressure sensors on my car replaced after 13 years, and this location was not only helpful in setting up an appointment, working hard to getting it accomplished quickly, effiently and professionally. Fast professional service, even in this COVID Christmas, start of winter season. Drove my car up from NC with bald front tires, was okay for a few weeks, but the storm that hit Thursday evening almost caused me to lose control on I-94. Was desperate to get new tires ASAP! This Discount Tire location was just awesome in helping me out of this jam, even upgraded my tires for free. They went over and beyond what they had to do to being better! I have a slow leak in three out of four of my tires Which I bought at discount tire. I made an appointment and brought my car in. They were very busy. When I got my car back they told me it was the rims on my car. I could tell they never even took the tires off the car. It’s funny when they sold me the tires they didn’t say there was anything wrong with the rims. Pretty sure they were just being lazy.

I have brought 3 cars here in the past few years, and have had a good experience with all. They will fix tires for free and are honest rather than just trying to sell stuff. They even mounted a scooter tire for me!

Scheduled an appointment for 4:45. After 30 minutes I asked why they hadnt taken my car yet to put on the snow tires. Was told by an employee If you make an appointment then well usually take you within an hour and if you dont make an appointment then you usually have to wait two to three hours. When I spoke to the manager and asked the same question he stated Thats how its always been. It usually takes up to an hour even when you make an appointment. I then asked why doesnt it state that on your website when you make an appointment and he just said I dont know. Had to wait for over an hour.

Wonderful service, friendly staff. They have great precautions in place for COVID-19. Thankfully its a beautiful Michigan summer day, and they put their indoor chairs outside in front of tree for shade. Its well thought out, and you can tell that they really care about their customers. I brought my car in for a free tire rotation and balance, but if I ever needed service in the future, this is where Id go.

Can never go wrong with Discount Tire

They are always busy.There is a reason why.I try to buy all my tires from them and they help me out with an occasional screw in the tire.They are a good deal and always have been.

People are nice but had a negative experience. Looks like my wheelswere damaged due to the tire installation. Of course the manager denied it and had the nerve to state verbatim that he was going to refund my money due to the experience but since there is no way the machine could have done that he wasnt...seriously....?! I didnt even ask for a refund and Im certainly not pressed over $80.... Just wanted the damage issue addressed and wheels balanced again since the wheel started shaking after tire install. Needless to say I dont recommend coming here and if you do take before pictures of your wheels. And maybe the manager should have more tact when talking to customers and not be condescending.

Pros:- good covid safety procedures, felt safe the whole visit- techs listen to Disney music and some sing along, 10/10 stars on this since I got to enjoy it sitting in my car! Include songs from Moana, Frozen, and some Broadway tunes too for good measure.- reasonable prices.- got to watch the work from my vehicle.- guy who checked me in was really nice. Thanks Nathan :)Cons:- took longer than expected, even with an appointment scheduled >7days before.- not very clear communication about covid procedures (though the procedures themselves are good)- please dont ask about the warranty, no one wants it.My vehicle didnt get into the bay until 50mins after checking in even though I was a few minutes early for my scheduled appointment. The actual time spent in the shop was pretty quick, ~25-35mins for a total visit time of ~ 1:15 - 1:25. Would rate 3stars based on the annoyance of not taking prescheduled appointment seriously, but the Disney music in the shop is alone enough to bump it up a whole star.

My husband came in for a flat tire. They didn’t have any space to change it that day but they kept the tire to repair and told us to call the next day to see if they could fit us in. We mostly spoke with Brian, who was fantastic! The next day, I called to see if there was any time I could bring the truck. Brian said to be there close to 4. I pulled in at 10 til 4, one of the mechanics immediately came up and told me to pull into the bay. He already knew who I was and as soon as I pulled in, he rolled the tire over and started changing it. In and out in 5 minutes, it was incredible! Very knowledgeable, friendly and expedient staff and will be returning here in the future!

Really great place to get tires from. Have been here for two sets of tires and never have I ever had an issue. The gentlemen that I have always had assist me have been extremely professional. I recently got a screw in my tire which I bought the protection plan, which was inexpensive, and they fix the tire in 20mins. Really nice kind caring folks there. Highly recommend this shop for their top quality services that I have always received.

You can trust this place. Belle Tires on Carpenter Rd told my elderly mom she needed new tires due to dry rot. We came here and they said the tires were fine. They were also good to my dad, replacing a tire for free after he hit a curb. Honest, knowledgeable, and good service. We will go here from now on, even though it is on the other side of town.

They scratched 3/4 of my aluminum wheels when I took my Civic in for new tires. Scratches from the tire changing machine around the outer lip. How they manage to cause this kind of damage when tires are the one thing they specialize in is beyond my understanding. They probably wouldve compensated me in some way had I complained, but my wheels were already beat up and I planned to have them refinished/replaced anyway. But if you have new wheels or just dont want your wheels mishandled, do not take your car here.

I price shopped them with Cost-Co and they were able to beat their deal. Have been a go to for my 5 vehicles. Very thoughtful covid countermeasures at their stores.

I pulled up as a walk in at 11 with a need to be out of there by 130. After it became obvious that it wasnt going to happen, I asked if there was anything they could do to expedite my car and was happily surprised that they accommodated! I would have been okay waiting if I didnt have to leave at that time. Since I was a walk in, and had only waited for 2.5 hours, I was impressed. The customer service was above and beyond my expectations. I will definitely be back to this location for my future tire needs.

In and out with 2 new tires plus balancing within 30 minutes. Super friendly. Super professional. Great prices.

Good fast service the second time around. First time around the tech didnt know that aftermarket rims need hub rings. Took the car back for a horrendous shake and found out the weights were not right and the other tech said 95% of the time aftermarket rims require hub rings. They had them in stock and was only there for an hour.

Its a tire shop, not much else to expect. Able to get what was needed.

These guys do an excellent job and are very friendly. The only bad thing is that they take a long time to service you.

Tom at this location was awesome! I purchased tires at another non discount tire location and was within the 45 day test drive window and was not happy with the ride quality of the tire. As a 25 year old women I am never excited to walk into a male dominated automotive company to get something fixed with the fear of getting played or paying too much. Tom was an amazing help. My experience was so good Im actually writing a google review about it. Ive never dealt with a more friendly and professional staff at an auto service place. I called ahead, they gave me a quote no problem and said they would squeeze me in before close. Even though they were very busy they took their time when they got to me and gave me a few options to choose from with tires. Didnt try to sell me much and were totally fine with my decision to only get 2 tires instead of 4. After that, they were fast and when I rolled out they made sure everything looked good while driving too. Ill definitely go back.

Not helpful, long wait for anything

Had an issue with my tire - I came in close to closing time after work and they took my car right in, looked at it (no cost for them to take a look!), and found it was a valve problem. Since nothing needed replacing, they just fixed the valve at no cost. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful and I would recommend anyone here.

Best place around to get new tires or have your tire maintenance done. Best prices I found after calling multiple places. Sometimes the wait can be long but I wont let anyone else touch my truck.
