My car notified my husband and I that we needed to get new batteries put in our fobs. We went to B P B and the very qualified and pleasant technician replaced two of them for us in less than 5 minutes! GREAT SERVICE at a reasonable price. YEAH, BABY!

Edit: After completing their survey and posting this review, I was contacted by the store. They were very polite and were able to process the refund over the phone. I would say they did everything possible to remedy the error, so I am changing my rating from 1 star to 3 stars.Original review:I purchased a car battery online and was also charged $18 for the core. The store was supposed to refund the core charge when I dropped off the core and picked up the battery. I asked the cashier to verify I would be receiving the credit. As his answer that I would be receiving credit was not very convincing, I waited 12 days and checked my credit card history. I was not ever issued the credit. I called the store and they said I would have to go to the store to get the core charge refunded. I then called the online number and was told they could not help me and I would have to drive back to the store to get my credit. It is wrong to not refund the core fee, and wrong to make it difficult to correct when I identify your error. Based on this experience I am not at all likely to recommend Batteries Plus.

Service was quick. Was treated well by sales personnel. Had two watch batteries replaced. Took no more than 5 minutes to complete the entire transaction. Will find out in a year or so if the lifetime battery replacement works as expected.

I recently had an issue with a defective battery, and these folks went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. They SHOWED me that they appreciate their customers. My man Billy! So today I went to pick up my iPad and like always excellent customer service. This is my store to fix iPhones, and iPads. So I jump into my Jeep Wrangler and it would not start. Now I know that the battery needed to be changed and have an appointment with my mechanic to work on it.Now how lucky can I get that I’m in the parking lot of batteries plus. I go in and Billy greets me again thinking the iPad was not working. This is the part that amazed me the most, without hesitation he checks the vehicle and in 20 minutes he cleans the contacts, installs a new batterie and I’m on my merry way. This is only the 2nd time i have been here. Had a problem the first hop around also. But today, they said it would take 45 mins to an hr to replace my battery. I came back in an hr and a half and it still wasnt done. And to top it off... when i drove 20 mins back to my house, i realized my camera didnt work anymore. I had to go back there 2 more times to fix that. No apology. No discount. Just problems. All. The. Time.

These people are great,they did everything they could to fix my cellphones. After putting in a new battery it worked for a short time but after lots of updates by cellphone companies it would no longer work,and they bought the battery back and gave me a full refund 2 different times!! They have helped me with other battery related issues and bulbs and have gone out of their way to be helpful cant say enough good things about them!!

Fantastic experience today at Batteries Plus Bulbs. I ordered a new car battery online with a coupon code and got a great deal, Then just 10 minuets later I was at B+B and getting the battery installed by one of there technicians. Less than 20 minutes I had ordered and had it installed in my Toyota Minivan, I will be recommending to all my friends to try Batteries Plus Bulbs and will be ordering a new battery for my other car today.

This store helped my friend get a battery for her phone. She told them she didnt know if it was the phone or the battery. It was the phone. When she tried to return the battery. The told her the couldnt return it because I paid for it with my card. Why couldnt they just call me I could have gave them the numbers over the phone, because I live three states away. She mailed it to me. It got lost in the mail. Now they refused to refund me the money. Called Corporate headquarters. They told me they couldnt make the store refund the money. So much for customer satisfaction. If I would have had it here in 14 days, wouldnt be a problem.Work on your customer support when things just dont fit within the box.

I opted for the free installation of a battery I had purchased for my 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander. The staff were outstanding in their willingness and ability to get it installed. The location of the battery, plastic shrouds, and other obstructions made the installation frustrating and time consuming. The staff was great! Because of engineering there is no such thing as a simple battery installation in todays cars. I am a new customer to Batteries Plus but because of my last experience, I may be a customer for life.

Was easy to order online and pick up. Customer service in the store could have been better. I asked the associate a couple questions. He cut me off before I could finish my sentence like he was in a hurry. Then I asked if he was able to check batteries? He told me yes, finished my transaction, then called over the next customer. He never offered to check my battery in question so I left.

I bought 2 AGM batteries to replace the house batteries in my RV. My original batteries, and the hardware that kept them in place, were completely corroded. Tony was the technician that helped me out. He did a great job of helping me resolve the issue and installing my new batteries...which work great by the way. I definitely recommend Batteries Plus Bulbs in Ankeny and will continue to take my battery and bulb business there.

Had the battery I needed for a decent price but the people who work there are morons. One forgot to put all the caps on the battery figured that out when I got home with acid spilled in the box. I ended up taking like 5 trips there just to get there mess up replaced.

I ordered online and was sent an e-mail stating it was ready for pickup the next day. not so-took two weeks to get. It might have been sooner but I never got another e-mail. This is NOT the stores fault; whatever Batteries Plus uses to generate delivery slips is badly in need of revamping.

I took in my IPhone 8+ which was completely broken from front to back, come back out with a brand new phone! Most definitely recommend.

I have an old Crafsman drill and saw combo my kids gave me for Christmas over 20 years ago. The 18v batteries gave out and you can’t buy new anymore, Interstate battery in Ankeny rebuilt them both for about $50.00 each and they turned out better than they ever were. Thank you! Sorry wrong site!😱

If i could give this place 0 stars I would. I needed to get my phone screen fixed but it seemed as though the workers had no idea what they were doing. They told me that they were not able to fix my phone because of how much damage was done (they said my phone was bent and it was definitely not bent!!!). Seriously such a waste of my time scheduling an appointment and driving all the way there! Unprofessional and did not even try to help me, 100% do not recommend. Ended up going to the mall and got my phone fixed at a stand!!

I just bought a battery for my motorcyle from the ankeny iowa store, super nice guys working there and great service and very helpful.

The online purchase was simple, I got an email when it was ready to pick up very quickly, they had the battery ready to go on the counter for me. It was a great experience as far as battery purchasing experiences go, other than the GPS in my truck when looking up BPB by name it listed the address as it being on Delaware when it is actually on Oralabor road!

I took my iPhone6 in about 5 months back and they guaranteed my new screen for 6 months! I should’ve purchased a new case “being on my2md screen” but didnt. Again my Turrible iPhone case didn’t hold up.. and they pulled my warranty and fixed it for free!!! They will only fix one time in the six month period. They did a fantastic job and I paid the money for new case. Very friendly and helpful!!!

Really poor service. Came in to schedule appointment to get phone screen fix. The guy at counter was in rush and he said yeah this home button will not work after we put screen in take to Apple. And did not offer any other help or tid bits, than he went to next guest without anything else. I left frustrated and looked across street and saw phone fix it place in that mini strip mall. I decided why not get second option. The guy at other place said yeah this is no problem and it even cost less than at this batteries plus place! Was in and out in 40 minutes. I would not be recommending this batteries plus place to anyone at all! Had coworkers who have had similiar situations happen. So wasn’t just a one time deal eitherOwner: no I will not waste my time calling just to talk. I had the appointment and everything set up and the person didn’t even check me in or anything. Than I get email said I missed the appointment and to come back. Heck no I won’t. Have good day.

I was told that they had to get the battery from the Urbandale store and they would have it the next afternoon. When I arrived after 4:00 p.m. they didnt have the battery. They called the Urbandale store and told me that I would have to wait amother 45 minutes. When I came in to see if they had it, the employee went to the back, brought it out, sat it on the floor and said there it is. I told him that when I made the purchase online it was to be installed. This did not seem to make him very happy that he may have to work. I am not sure that I will do buisness with this store again.

3 stars because they did have the battery for my motorcycle and I was able to get it. They lost a star when I ordered the battery online the night before and paid, then went to the store at 11am after getting an email at 826am saying my battery was ready. The battery was not ready (stopped before going to work) and the guy disappeared for a minute after saying oh I just had that comes back out and casually informs me that they have to fill that specific battery up. Confirms and finishs the transaction. Gives me a reciept. I had to ask how long (he didnt offer and acted like it wouldnt be a big deal) and like it was no big deal he says oh just like 45 minutes to an hour. I explained I couldnt be late and said Ill send my friend a picture of the receipt and just have him come pick it up. Confirm this with the counter rep. Cool. Lost another star because when my friend stopped by an hour and a half later they then tried to charge him again something about a core? My friend didnt pay it but come on. I ordered online for a reason and RECIEVED a reciept before leaving. It wasnt the end of the world but when I take time to order online which is encouraged by a business. These issues shouldnt happen.ThanksZach

The worst place ever they repair phone screens but yet they dont even know how to put it on right, and when they hand it back it is disabled when it was not be fore i handed it to them. also it was a Iphone 7 and the 3d touch does not work on it now do they not know what screen goes to what phone can they even tell what model of phone it is would never recommend any one to go there.
