I had called around explaining my issue, no one wanted to help or try, until I called Monro. They wanted to try. Get there and they go above and beyond to at least try. They tried and got it fixed! Not only did they want to try, they got it fixed, and made me feel like I mattered. They will definitely be getting all my future business.
Manager at Anderson’s Monroe was very pleasant and efficient. We were given an appoint which began without delay. Technician explained repair performed with suggestions for needed future services. Great place to get Autotive service!
Went there for simple 2 tire repair and they sent me to tire barn across the street where I had to wait and tire barn said they do it all the time and in Monroe its like 2 kids working in there im never ever going there again

Went online to schedule an oil change appointment, only to go and find out it was never in the system. I was turned away because some bolt was stripped. First experience was horrible. There are tools for everything. I think they didn’t want to mess with me since it was last appointment slot of the day.

I went to get a patch to fix my tire. Spent 5 hours waiting on them to get my vehicle pulled out of parking lot. During the patch one of technicians damaged my rim by putting deep yellow scratches into it. I didnt notice it til the following day and their insurance company said too bad. Not to mention the people that work there look like theyd steal and lie to you. Scumbags.
I unexpectedly lost my brakes in Anderson around 2pm on a weekday. Being from out of town, I had no idea where to go to get issue resolved but luckily I managed to make it here. The entire crew were very responsive to the issue and by 4pm I was back on the road. Had a great conversation with the new manager Aaron and he explained that the previous staff had really performed very shoddy work to many customers that he was trying to correct. It probably explains some of the lower previous reviews.I recommend giving these guys a chance for your next vehicle maintenance. The mechanics seem very knowledgeable and they actually show you and explain what needs to be done. Im pretty particular on who works on my Jeep. I would definitely take it there again for future maintenance.
Within the last 6 months I paid around $500 for a tune up, oil change, two new front tires, and alignment. Everything was great. The guy who took my payment even confirmed I had road hazard. Fast forward to now, blew a tire on a pot hole. No biggie cuz it is one of my brand new ones and I’ve gotten road hazard on every new tire I’ve purchased since I was 16. Tried to go in and get the tire replaced and my husband is told we never got road hazard. And then that one new tire for a Honda Fit is going to be upwards of $300, more if we want road hazard. 3x the amount of the exact same tire down the street. Looks like Bell Tires is getting a new customer.
Went to Monroe today to have some tires put on. One of the Techs discovered that a tire I had had a hole in the sidewall. The manager Aaron took care if me and sold me a tire that was as very close to what I had and also gave me a discount. From what I overheard he is the new manager of the store. He does his best to take care of his customers I will be returning to his business.

Had a list of parts I needed replaced on my truck. Starter, altenater, belt, abs sensors, o2 sensors, and power steering pump. I was given an estimate of just under 1200 before I added the abs sensors to the list after, my estimate went to 1700. I was told it would be a 4 to 6 hour job and my truck has been there for 5 days now. I called a couple times through the week I sat on hold for long, long periods of time 30/45 minutes. The times I was able to speak with somebody through the week Wed and Fri I was told it was up in the air being worked on. I called this morning because I was going to pick it up today and was told it was up in the air being worked on to give him to the end of the day. So, here I am after 5 going on 6 days and its still not done. They are friendly when speaking with you but nothing has been consistent and there is a big difference between 4 to 6 hours and 5 days. There is a big difference between 1200 dolars and 1700 dollars. He said we was staying later to see if he could finish it up but we will see. Last everytime I was told I would get a call back I waited so long that I had to call them and sit on hold for long periods of time. Not trying to be that guy but most of the things on the list are things a rookie could do. I just work so much and was trying to help give some business. I am no mechanic but I have changed many parts on my truck before my work hours increased so much. They just need to do better than that and work on communication.Update- I actually did get a call at 9:20. They told me that they were unable to change the o2 sensors they were too rusty and tight to get them free, isnt that what the mechanic is for? He said they also got the wrong abs sensors and power steering pump. He will try to get those fixed by tomorrow but wont be able to change o2 sensors at all. ONE OF THE FIRST CONVERSATIONS I HAD WITH THEM AFTER I TOOK MY TRUCK THERE I WAS TOLD ON THE PHONE THAT THEY ALREADY HAD EVERYTHING OUT WAITING FOR THE NEW PARTS TO JUST PUT THEM BACK IN. I HAVE BEEN LIED TO SEVERAL TIMES BY SEVERAL PEOPLE IN THIS SHOP. NEVER BE BACK. Overall I am very unhappy with everything about it. To pay that much money and have so many issues its very upsetting. The mechanic should be able to get the o2 sensors out they have tools for that. I hope they knock some of that bill down. Just so many problems here.Day 7- still no truck. Yesterday they told me that they could not get the power steering pump out, they were having a lot of trouble with it. Once again was told the day after I took the truck in that everything was apart waiting on new parts to put back in. I never take my cars to a shop I usually do it myself and now I know why. 7 days to do a quoted 4 to 6 hour job. They also told me that the o2 sensors were for sure not coming out and if he kept trying they would have to replace the exhaust. Bet they would love that huh? No word from company or anything. Somebody get my truck fixed and back to me please.

Had an oil change and received a quote on tires in a very short time. The waiting area is the nicest ive ever sat in to wait on my car being serviced. The young man at the front desk was exemplary in his care and solutions for my needs. Very personable and enjoyable to work with. The service I received was top notch! I will definitely use this Munro store from now on.

Very dissatisfied. I usually go here for my oil change . I went on the 2nd of this month and they were suppose to change it... well still kept hearing the knocking and it got worse checked my oil and absolutely not one drop was in it. Checked the filter and it was not changed either so they got a free $60 out of me. I called and complained, no call back. No money back. And nothing got fixed. I had to go out of my way yet again and go buy a huge container of oil and get it all redone... wont go here again. Another customer lost.
So I came there on Sunday spoke with someone named Aaron who priced all 4 tires at 750Then lowered it to 539 then lowered it to 434! Mind you they only had one brand of tire that fit my vehicle so how the price can dramatically get dropped from 750 to 539 to 430 is beyond me seems like a scam! Then when I go to pick up my vehicle they only put 1 new tire on and put a flat donut on it mind you I am from IL and was promised I would be able to get on the road safely and well clearly after them placing one tire and one donut I was irate! I have two kids that missed day care I missed two days of work all because they had had not done their job properly! Now Monday I call and I raise hell because I am very irritated at the lack of communication, broken promises and the feeling like i was screwed on prices from the beginning! AJ answers the phone apologizes up and down about the lack communication and thePoor service especially when the company prides them self on a 5 star service! AJ had informed me that he had placed 3 of the new tires on on Monday, and that they’re company would be replacing my rim that was cracked, I am still waiting to here back about loss of time worked being a single mom stuck in a state where I am unable to work two full days to provide for my kids! The service I had experienced was HORRIBLE on Sunday(by the store manager Aaron) but thankfully Monday AJ provided me the service and is trying to get me back to IL soI can work, take my kids to day care and have a safe 3 hour ride! I can honestly say although it was horrible it turned out that some people there do truly care about there customers and AJ should prolly be hired as the store manager! Thanks again! Now let’s hope I get home sometime today and am able to work!!!!! If I could rate my experience on Sunday there would be no damn star but Monday my experience was def a 5 mind he had to fix someone else’s mess
Monro Auto ServiceI took my car into the shop because there was some vibrating in the steering wheel when I brake. I discussed with the clerk in front it most likely was the front brakes and rotor. End result was the tie rods one set was replaced according to them. But I had just replaced the tie rods all four last month. Instead of them replacing the front brake pads and rotor. They replaced the back brakes and shoes. Needless to say, the wheel still vibrates as I apply the brakes. They are professionals and should know whats what. These guys are great. Another brake shop told me my rear brakes needed replaced. These guys showed me the brakes, told me I still had at least 50% life, cleaned them up, and sent me on my way. Appreciate their honesty!
Took my car in to get a quote for an alternator and check on the battery. They told me it would be almost $800 for a new alternator and battery because the battery was shot. They also informed me that my brake pads had .2mm left, that I was low on power steering fluid, and that my motor oil was fine. I knew that my motor oil actually needed changed, I found another place that would do the alternator and battery for $400, only to discover that the battery was fine, just needed recharged. They also checked my steering fluid and found it to be fine. I went to change the brake pads myself, and found about a third of the original padding left. It really feels like they are just trying to rip off people that do not know anything about cars. Always call around if you believe a service costs to much, Monroe was a good example as to why.

Having just traveled across the country, they were super helpful and knowledgable about the vehicle. I am really thankful for businesses like this one that understands how to treat customers and had compassion on someone they saw that was in real need of help. I will be returning to them for future service.

I went in because my brakes were making a funny sound. They told me it was going to be $1,300 to fix and if I gave them $1,000 they would fix it. Conveniently another couple was in there and had a lot of stuff wrong with their truck (calipers, rotors, pads) and their bill also came up to $1,300 and he also told them he would fix it for $1,000. I went to an actual shop and they fixed my brakes for $100. I ain’t paying someone $1,300 cause they’re to dumb to realize it’s a cheap fix instead of trying to replace the entire damn thing.

I dont know about this personal location bc I do not live in Anderson but I know that John is the only one I will deal with. Not because the other locations are bad but because of how great his service is to me and other customers. And wait times he gives are reasonable and very accurate I will drive to whatever location John is currently working the drive is worth the service.

So about six months ago I went and had an oil change at our location here in Greenfield IN service was great and oil change was around $47 ... Today I went back (because I was pleased last time) I was asked how much my last oil change cost I told him around $45 weird question, but ok... Well I walked across the street for lunch and when I came back my car was done! Great! I went to check out and I was told it was $86.... Thats right 86 dollars. Excuse me sir.... No call (even tho I just gave them my phone number) nothing. I told them I would pay it but I wasnt happy about it and my husband would not be happy either. Two employees were talking about how they wished my husband would call about it basically just trash talking... So my husband did call. He was met with very rude attitudes and they claimed the computer forced them to charge $86 even tho they looked up my last change, on the same car, and it was $47. Its not about the $40 ... This is about a company trying to pull one over on a young woman, just because they can. Overall very very unhappy. We will never go back... And we will be sure to let everyone know of our experience. After looking at reviews and hearing other first hand examples it seems this company loves to take advantage of young woman.... Well you got me once... But never again.

The staff at this store are unprofessional and straight liars my wife made an appointment for a wheel alignment for 5 pm after picking up our 6 month old baby she called to say she would be 5 mins late ZACK told if she wasnt there by 5 he would cancel her appointment because he wouldnt force his technician to stay late he leaves at 6pm even though there hours state open till 7 pm. so then i call playing dumb and i talk to this zach who says hes office help and i ask some alignment questions then ask how late they do alignments he tells no later then 330 pm and that his technician leaves at 5 so then i call the greenfield store and the guy i talk too tells me hes actually from the huntington store and zach is too and works under him and that there having staffing issues and that the technician does leave at 6 but why wouldnt zach just be honest to his customers and tell them this up front??? dont waste your time or money with these fools like my grand daddy used to say if theyll lie about something small theyll lie about anything i know i wouldnt trust anything they tell me go see T and J tire theyll take care of you right and there cheaper
Will be prices on tires anywhere best place to buy tires very informative about repairs on your car good place to take to find out what’s wrong with your car just not a good place to get it fixed they will sell you things that you really don’t need of course they all work on commission so cannot be trusted with repairs but tires are the best prices you will find
Over and above is an understatement of what they did for me! Long story shory, i needed to replace a tire on my vehicle and it took nearly three hours for them to remove a stubborn whedgenut. Im super grateful they were able to remove it!

Went in for an inspection do to wobbling. They said it was the brakes charged me 900 dollars to fix the brakes,,which were not even hardly worn, they said it was because the caliper was sticking. New caliper new rotors new pads.Didnt touch the problem.Went in again they said it was possibly the wheel bearing had them replace the wheel berring. 300 dollars did not fix the vibration. 5 months later Wheel bearing goes out take it back to them they say I only had a 90 day warranty on the berring. And that they wanted full price to fix it again.This is a solid do not do buisness with these guys.They are nice enough customer service wise but they have no idea what they are doing, do not back up there work. Go to a real shop and just bite the bullet. You will pay for it in the end.
Monro is typically great. But this one didnt tighten the oil drain all the way. Went to a different one and the redid it for free. Watch out for many different hidden fees.

Work u lile a slave and pay poorly. Managment has no idea how too treat their techs.. Allot of pressure sales and rushed work.. The company deffinately has major turnover problems.. They deff dont take care of the people working on your vehicles.. Ive personally seen some very shady work come from monro just watching the horrible backyard mechanics they hire for horrible wages..

I went in for an oil change and felt I was treated very unprofessional, was told if I didnt have an appointment I could drop my car off and he would get to it when he got to it. There was 2 guys in the office and 1 guy in the shop didnt appear to be very busy. So I went to jiffy lube and was out in 30 min.
Closes at 7pm. Refused to do an oil change at 630 pm. Didnt have enough time.
I was stuck in Anderson & they got my brakes fixed the same day, sending me on my way home to Indy.

I took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation and asked them to check one for a leak. They told me I needed new ones so they would not air up the low one or rotate them. And then 2 weeks later my check oil light comes on so I had my dad check it and he said it looked like they didnt change the oil either even though I paid for the service. Will not be going back.
