Where to begin? π€... Black cup Oreo yes! Then a flight of ice cream or a Mooses Tooth root beer float? End with a sorbet? No bad flavors here! This is the best ice cream in town. I use to drive for a trucking company and remember delivering a freezer to them like 6+ years ago off 15th. The nice lady gave me a pint of White Raven for free! Its been my favorite since. Thank you for the great products and the Alaskan service! ππππππ
This place is SO GOOD! The last time we stopped by, they had TWO dairy-free options, which is more than most places have, AND they were both delicious! I love that we can take the whole family with lots of different dietary restrictions and find something for everyone! This is definitely a must-stop while in Anchorage.
Absolutely a must!!! This was one of the recommendations we got for getting the best ice cream..now I know why. Just a warning....this place is Addictive!!! You cant just visit once!!!! Staff was great not only with giving you samples, but telling you more about the different flavors & unique flavor combinations. The ice cream is so fresh, you can taste it, fresh, handmade, with no additives or preservatives. Loved it so much, we visited twice in the short visit we had in Anchorage.
This was a really cute ice cream spot. They had great flavors. I got the campfire one which was great! The downside is, the ice cream was pretty runny. Iβm not sure if that was just our experience, or if thatβs a common thing here, but some of them looked really soupy, and I had to eat my ice cream really quick because it was already very soft when I ordered. Otherwise, fun spot!
Were in town for vacation and stopped in for ice cream. It is amazing and worth every penny. I paid the extra $1 for a waffle cone and wasnt disappointed. We plan on going back before we have to leave!
I wish I hadnt found this place at the end of the summer. I might have been eating fresh ice cream for months. Definitely worth the wait, if theres a line.
ABSOLUTELY the best ice cream I have ever had in my life. I got a single scoop of Sβmores and began to eat as I walked out of the door. Finished my scoop and promptly returned for seconds because I just HAD to have more. The people were so incredibly friendly as well. And I got a T-shirt that is super comfy! Do you ship to Wisconsin?!?!
I was delighted to be able to experience the wonderful flavors of the Wild scoop ice cream. This is a hidden gem that is worth exploring for in Anchorage. The staff was friendly and helpful. The establishment was clean and tidy.
Ice cream is only ok. They have a few good flavors but most sacrifice taste for unique/unusual flavors. Adding beets, citrus or shards of anything rarely improves flavor
The ice cream flavors were fantastic! The employee who took our order was so kind and made it such a fun experience! I would highly recommend Wild Scoops!
The flavors are always on point, and new ones are introduced regularly. The service at this location is fantastic, just like the downtown location. I love the benches and tables set up in the parking lot so that you can sit down with friends and enjoy your ice cream.
If you have allergies and need to see an ingredients list, just ask they have a binder put together for easy access to the info.
When we walked in we could immediately smell the freshly made waffle cones. I ordered a single scoop of the lemon and snickerdoodle ice cream in a waffle cone. It was absolutely delicious! My husband ordered chocolate ice cream and was very pleased as well. I highly recommend Wild Scoops!
I am officially addicted to Wild Scoops Ice Cream!!! They have Alaska themed treats, merchandise and decor. Their ice cream has the right amount of creaminess, flavor and sweetness. Everything is harmoniously balanced into perfect blends of spectacular. Please make your day and go here. You will not be disappointed.
So many VEGAN options! AND they rotate the flavors! Donβt miss this Anchorage gem.
The Baked Alaska add on was amazing! They put marshmallow on top of your cone and then toast it! I had the vanilla pea powder with matcha cookie flavor and it was great!! The only thing is that they have some weird flavors and they dont allow samples. The 3 people in our party just got chocolate because they didnt want to hate their flavor. They did allow you to pay 25 cents to add a sample flavor on top of your order, but if you are traveling and dont plan to come back, that isnt going to help you. It would be very simple to tell the customer they may try 3 flavors and just scoop a little bit on a spoon and allow them to try. They also did not allow indoor seating. When its 40 degrees outside, its really miserable to sit outside and eat ice cream. The service is what made my rating go down. The tea shop next door was super cute - stop in after your visit. They sell coffee and tea and accessories.
Hand made, small batches, local ingredients, amazing flavor rotating ice cream! Its amazing, it will change the way you thing about ice cream. Whether you go to the big shop in mid-town, the shop down town, or their farmers market stall the ice cream will rock your world. Pictured is the baked Alaska Cone freshly made waffle cones topped with vegetarian marshmallow fluff caramelized with a blow torch. Its amazing. Do yourself a favor and get some.
They literally make the best vegan ice cream on the planet. Sweeter than dirt is the best!
What a unique ice cream shop! Definitely visit if youre looking for ice cream thats not typically found everywhere. Worth the wait!
I even bought a sweat shirt to wear here on Massachusetts. I was in Alaska for almost five weeks and I tried many different flavors. All delicious!!
Good ice cream. I know its an Alaska themed flavors place but regular flavors would be too
Great flavors. Each of the ice cream has been excellent. Scoops are generous. Kids love the melted Marshmello cone
Our favorite ice cream stop in Anchorage! The only thing I wish, is that they serve the Yukon Gold ice cream flavor all the time! Itβs our favorite when we come in, but hate having to wait for it!
Incredible ice cream flavors! Friendly staff, great atmosphere
We really enjoyed all the flavors we tried and the waffle cones were fantastic.
Good quality ice cream with out of the box flavor combinations (think potato chip brittle????)
Great ice cream. Sitka swirl and campfire smores specifically. Very good waffle cones.
Delicious! Very busy, but staff was super efficient. Tastes as good as they claim.
Went on the day Alaska 529 was buying the first 1000 cones so we got free ones. The kids like the caramel swirl & chocolate. I had the pretty little planet. Shouldve tipped more.
Not as good as we hoped. Average ice cream and limited selection. Waffle cone was pretty good.
Love to eat ice cream, so my wife suggested we give this joint a go. Wowza!! Plenty of cool flavors, though some just a bit to adventuresome for me(like to the basics). My better half and I both had two scoop waffle cones and really enjoyed the flavors and creaminess of the ice cream. recommend
5 out of 5 for sure. Their flavors are super unique and delicious. We got the sample flight and tried a bunch of stuff, and they were all unique and distinct flavors. We are coming back here for sure.
Favorite ice cream shop in Anchorage!!!! Love the customer service too, every time I come in there I feel welcome and taken care of! Ice cream always tastes fresh and quality ingredients. If I could compare it to anything, it would be the equivalent of the Mooseβs Tooth of ice cream!!! Cant wait to go back again soon!
OMG, best ice cream I have ever had..staff were so friendly which just adds to the experience
Fantastic highest quality and delicious ice cream in great and creative assortment of flavors, including local summer wildflower Fireweed and a vegan sorbet option. They could make a lot of money in other places as well
Got the honeycomb ice cream baked Alaska cone style and it was delicious! The waffle cone is probably one of the best Iβve had too.
The homemade ice cream was so delicious, and the service was great! The homemade waffle cones were also very delicious
Love the anise flavor touch in the waffle cones. Always new flavors to try. Thanks for the outdoor seating!
Alot of times a gourmet dish is a wonderfully clever but small amount of food you are charged an outrageous price for. At Wildscoops the gourmet pricetag gets you a large portion of what is undeniably gourmet ice cream.
Great creamy ice cream! Some very interesting combinations. Worth the visit!
We love Wild Scoops! We go when we need special treats, celebrations, mood lifts, or we have a visitor from out of State. Always a great experience.
Not bad, but odd flavors that didnt sound good. Choc was good, not great
The best ice cream shop in town with fantastic locations, amazing and friendly customer service, and some of the best flavors my palate has ever eaten. Customer for life!
Quick and excellent service the toasted marshmallow cone was awesome
So many delicious flavors, always something new to try! Also the cinnamon waffle cones are amazing!
Love it. Enjoyed the choices. Moose Tooth was great!
Ice cream flavors were delicious! Friendly staff. Well worth visiting π
Creamy, delicious icecream with an equally delicious cone. Seldom had better
Loved their ice cream π¦.
I ordered two scoops in a freshly baked waffle cone - Sitka swirl and chocolate. Sitka swirl was like a salted caramel. For an extra three dollars, on top I had the baked Alaska - marshmallow fluff that was toasted to perfection. They offered a variety of unique flavors, some that I wasnt even willing to venture to try - like garlic. overall is good
Wild Scoops ice cream will ruin your life. All other ice cream is tasteless compared to Wild Scoops. I dream of Wild Scoops ice cream. The weirdest part is their vegan ice cream is crazy good. I am not a vegan but I almost always get the vegan choices because they taste sooooooooooooo gooooood.
Amazing! A must-try when in Alaska..
My favorite ice cream is strawberry rhubarb but was discontinued because it is seasonal.
Love the ice cream there and the place Is great looking
Loved the Spruce Tip and Moose Tooth Root Beer ice cream
Tasty creamy icecream with lots of unique and local flavors
Awesome service. Great tasting ice cream. Would/will go again.
Delicious Ice cream. Great service.
Fireweed and Spruce Tip ice cream is Amazing.
First time! I will definitely go back! Staff had a great attitude! Ice cream was different but good!
Crazy good ice cream. Treat yourself to the baked Alaska cone.
This location is their test kitchen and has more flavors than the downtown store. Gotta get the 4 scoop sampler here!
Amazing ice cream shop with unique and locally inspired flavors.
Fabulous local ice cream with happy, helpful staff.
Must try if you Love ice cream
I was told by a local that this place had some of the best ice cream in Anchorage so of course I had to stop by and check it out. They have your classics like chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla, but theyve also got all sorts of wild wonky flavors they make themselves. I am a huge fan of fresh herbs so I ordered their basil walnut ice cream. It was sweet with little bit of crunch from the walnuts and an interesting taste from the basil ice cream base they used. It was different from any ice cream Ive had before but I loved it! I hope I can visit Anchorage again one day and bring my family and friends along to experience the awesome flavors and ideas Wild Scoops has to offer. I definitely recommend stopping by!
Itβs too bad they canβt offer a sugar-free option something with maple syrup or Stevia we are doing gluten-free why not sugar-free and not aspartame sugar-free
The vegan coconut based chocolate ice cream was great.
Every flavor is unique and delicious. I donβt go very often because it is expensive, but it is a nice treat every once in a while.
Went here after dinner on a weekend. It was not too crowded but steady stream of customers. If you order a double scoop, you beeter be hungry! The scoops were huge, good selection of flavors, and good service.
The team of employees that were working last night were so calm and patient. I visited with my 4 children and being a single father I am often stressed out lightly when a line forms behind us when when have yet to begin ordering. The staff was nothing but kind and patient, allowing each child in turn to ask the questions in their minds and without ever seeming rushed or pressuring my littles. The customers all stayed calm and content as well. Also very thankful for the hours you guys keep, that makes outings possible on a short notice.
Super rude girls working. Also advertised a certain flavor and wasnt available (supposedly quick making it) then gave me the wrong flavor....overall just very disappointing since we drove an hour to come enjoy valentines day with what was our favorite ice cream place.
Super yummy place to get ice π
Just as good as the one downtown that is now closed for COVID. The best ice cream I have had in recent memory. You absolutely MUST visit this place if you are in Anchorage.
Great ice cream and very fun flavors
Donβt shop here, waste of time and money.
If looking for one of the best ice cream places in Alaska, definitely try Wild Scoop located in two different places in Anchorage. Personal favorite flavors: Spruce Tips, Sweeter than Dirt, White Raven
This is by far the best place Ive ever had ice cream!
Wonderful chocolate ice cream
Its become one of those weird, iconic, Alaskan stops up there with Mooses Tooth and Tidal Wave books. The ice cream is top notch, with always fresh and clever flavors. The homemade waffle cones are absolutely perfect. Each bite breaks away exactly the way you want an ice cream cone to break and has an amazing flavor.
Quick, and helpful.
Very good, hand crafted ice cream. Lots of unique flavors. The cinnamon was outstanding as was the rhubarb crumble.
