I visited all the local studios in anchorage and this one is hands down the best! Such a cute shop with many options in jewelry, prints, paintings, clothing, and more. Plus the owner is a local artist with several of her own artworks on display. Something for everyone here! A must visit for anyone in search for local Alaskan artwork!

The items in this shop are absolutely stunning. We are visiting from out of state and I always try to find something that is a bit different. There is art, art prints, jewelry, towels, sculptures, and various other handmade items.Its great store that supports local artists.

Really neat shop with some very cool Alaskan goods. We picked up some really neat gifts for our girls. The 2 girls working were wonderfully sweet. Nice variety. We enjoyed browsing the art and the otters wearing clothes were very interedting... my wife almost got one and may regret not getting it now. So just buy the otter dressed in clothes.

Very nice Alaskan craft boutique. Some reasonably priced and some one of a kind pricing... But not crazy expensive. Beautiful metal prints and unique wooden floor lamps.

Katie Sevigny is such a fascinating artist. I have literally never seen a single other artist that has such a diverse range of work where each piece is so completely different in style and execution. Artists normally have a distinct look to their work that is identifiable and unique to some degree. I honestly cant pin Katie down though. Its almost like she is 100 different artists in one. Thats really fascinating dont you think? What could possibly be the plainly obvious explanation? Hmmmm...real head scratcher.

This is a great art studio if you want to go local! They provide art from so many talented Alaskan artist. The staff was wonderful and welcoming and answered all of my million questions! Would recommend to anyone looking for variety of Alaskan art and a welcoming environment.

I always love to see what is in this store. I am a travel nurse and this is my 3rd time working in Anchorage. I have bought a few prints, jewelry, a tote bag and other items over the years. I am sorry to say I had a bad experience my most recent visit. This was my first time checking out the newer location. I of course easily found a few things to purchase. Total came to $58. I checked out and there was a problem with the computer. The card machine said it went through but the computer seemed to have froze. I pulled up my bank account in the store and it showed I was charged but I was told by the man working it most likely did not go through. The man helping me out said this had happened before and so I trusted him and used my card again. This time, it processed on his end. I was given a business card and said to call if I did end up getting charged twice. I gave it a few days and the double charge remained. I called the store and they asked me to email them a copy of my bank statement. I did as asked. They then asked me to call with my cc info to process the return. Again, I did as asked. I was then told they had to wait to get approval from someone specific before they could process the return and she wouldnt be in until Monday. This was Thursday or Friday(?). I expressed this was a little inconvenient on my end as it came from my debit card and it was their error. The man I spoke with ended up touching base with the person who needed to approve this and she came in that day but said she could not approve the refund and that I would have to call my bank. They did not see it as a double charge on their end. I waited until the next day to call my bank as they were already closed. They informed me it was showing as a double charge, I had to file it as so, and that I would be refunded within 10 business days. I am sad to say I will probably not return because of the hassle this situation created. Because they did not credit my double charge that I showed them proof of, they have lost my future business, which would have easily surpassed what they should have credited me.

LOVE this studio with all my heart! The workers there are nothing but positive and helpful in anything you do, being a tourist they really helped me find local spots and things to do there and the best restaurants etc, definitely somewhere I would stop even if you aren’t a huge art fan... there is something for everyone there!

Excellent art but awful management and customer service. I echo many of the other poor customer service reviews.1. We purchased four pieces of art. Within 5 minutes of leaving the store, we realized one item would not work for our intended purpose. The store would not accept the return because they were “protecting local artists” and it was difficult to process a return.2. Meanwhile, I really liked a particular artist’s style. I asked the store for contact information to inquire about a custom piece. The store refused to provide contact information and stated all communication must go through them. In my opinion, this is the opposite of protecting local artists. Second, why am I going to work through the store, on a custom piece, when a return is too difficult?To the artists - phenomenal work!!! Make sure your brand/name are on the art. The studio does not appear to have your best interest in mind.Lastly, the store makes many claims about Alaskan artists, yet they sell items from Georgia 🤔

Lovely studio which is bigger than it looks form the outside. Variety of interesting art prices, baubles, and local wares. Some items are duplicated at other shops but a few are unique to the studio. Much better than most of the tourist traps, come here for something really Alaskan and interesting. Can be a bit warm in the summer.

I visited from Denver and loved everything about the artwork and staff. I was looking for a store like this all around Alaska and found exactly what I wanted. The artists were from all over the US and mostly Alaska which was so cool. The staff was so nice and profesional. I would highly recommend this studio to people visiting!

So over the last year I purchased 5 different pairs of earring. The employees that I purchased the earrings from (at 3 different occasions), told me very clearly that the earrings we pure gold. Well several months later the earrings started to tarnish. I called ahead and the employee told me we understand well do what we can. This was said after I described the employees that sold me the earrings. She knew who I was talking about. But the employee I described no longer worked there. Because of this once I arrived at the store, the same employee that seemed so friendly on the phone told me that she couldnt return them because I paid cash and there wasnt a paper trail. So she accused me of possibly stealing from them. What a joke!!!! I described everything to them. How is it my fault that they lied about your product then wouldnt even back its quality. Im allergic to metal besides gold and silver. So these earring made my ears red and I always assumed it was the weight of the stones until they started to turn from a gold color to a greenish blue tarnish color. Bummer I waisted a ton of money. I will never shop here again. What a joke of a store. I dont look like a broke thief. They clearly cant afford returns even if it is a manufacture defect.... So buyer beware!!!!!!!

Very poor management and customer service. It’s such a shame because the artwork is beautiful.To Consumers: please consider buying the artwork directly from the artists themselves. In my experience the studio is not at all looking out for the consumer... or the artists for that matter.To Artists: please ensure that your label is on the artwork so that consumers can find you directly. Or perhaps find an artist run studio. The studio intentionally hindered my ability to find you.

Fun little gallery. Enjoyed stopping in for First Friday. Excellent musician playing. Liked most of the art. Obviously, different things appeal to different people but it seems the inventory covers all of the different folks.

As a travel agent:Here you can purchase posters from Alaskan artists. Choose a moose, beer, deer, or another Native American animal to decorate your home. The frames dont come with the prints. There are many choices of art and souvenirs to choose from. I did find a pair of earrings that I really liked. As I waited by the register to ask for help I received an attitude. The employee at the register actually told me NOT to interrupt her while she conversed to a fellow employee. Not wanting to bother them in the midst of their personal discussion, I left.Id fire them!

Staff was so helpful and welcoming. Prices were reasonable and some good art!
