Good place but a mistake on sales item, not satisfied during this visit. Maybe, I was one day late for a clearance item, which was a Maytag dishwasher.

Overall, It use to be great... USE to be. I have been coming to this location for over 7 years... I will no longer support The Home Depot. 90 day return policy... apparently you need the box, wrapping and so forth to do an exchange on a tool that you had for 4 days and it malfunctioned. What happened to bring it in and exchange no questions asked. This has happened numerous times of late. This year, too many returns. Quality has gone down the drain. Customer service representatives skipped myself & another guy waiting in line to help a random person that just walked up. The kid said he just got off the phone, but this is the same kid that was scared to help me because I didnt take his excuses from a previous visit. In which the manager sided with me in the end. Regardless of all this, was great while it lasted. Looks to be time I go back to Lowes & enjoy the hassle free life again!!

If you arent carrying it out of the store yourself, just keep walking.Appointments mean nothing and there isnt a single employee who has a clue as to what is going on. Despite what i can only assume are the best efforts of management, nothing lines up.Employees are happy to sign you up for mysterious contracts they cant explain or provide you a copy of. I would question everything that comes up on the prompts and was met with no answers. I was expected to simply sign a contract without being aware of the terms or capable of examining what this contract entails.Sounds like a nightmare to me. I can only imagine what is on the credit card contract they push.Dont hold your breath for a call or any indication as to what is going to happen.

Big store hard to find stuff. It was also pretty hot in there. I got what I needed. It would help if the parking lot was level so my basket with 50lbs of motor didnt roll away.

Dont go to Abbott Loop Home Depot due to bad sales practices. They have a sales tag on, but a female employee told me that they are out of stock and not selling the demo one either. I wasted my time for the trick.

There to pick up a curbside order for daughter. It was near the end of the day. Was fortunate to see a guy deliver an order to a car next to me. He took a picture of the order and in about 10 minutes delivered order to my car. Michael provided fast and efficient service - with a smile. Great job from a great employee.

Every Home Depot retail prices are same, but the clearance items are different. If the item has a clearance price in yellow, then you can buy the demo. I learned this from an employee of HD.

Syper biased and seems to treat everyone as if theyre a thief. So if i have time and im bored and i feel harassed by the staff, i will spend the next couple hours window shopping and making it seem like im being shady. If they really bug me ill check out with $4-500 of merchandise to only realize that I forgot my wallet.

Always had great experiences here. Staff has always been available to answer questions and assist in locating what I need. Don’t forget to shop their clearance throughout the store! I cannot even tell you the number of times I have found what I needed in one of the clearance sections - who doesn’t love savings! If you are looking for paint, Deanna is the sweetest, and always helpful.

I was hurrying to make it there by 10:00 because they close at 10:00 and I made it there at 9:57 and walked up to the front door at 9:57 to see the guy coming up to lock the doors and told me as I was standing there in front of the door (in the pouring rain) that they were closed. If you close at 10:00 then you should t turn customers away at 9:57. Poor customer service. I will not shop here anymore. Their competition just got a new customer.

Would be great if the garden center was open when its supposed to be open, when asked why it was closed, answer was, we dont have enough cashiers, but 10 cashiers were working opposite end of store.... not helpful

I’m pretty disappointed, I called to buy a lawnmower a riding lawn tractor I live six hours away from Anchorage they could not run my card so I said will you hold it for me and I’ll come there and get it they said they would hold it but when I arrived they had sold it.So I asked is there another one that I can buy in the state the lady said yes there’s one in Kenai alaska so I bought it on May 28, 2021Today June 8,2021. I haven’t heard from them so I decided to call they couldn’t find it and now 9 o’clock at night I get a phone call and the lady said they couldn’t ship it so they sold it in Kenai.I ask for my money back and told the lady I would buy one somewhere else!Very Poor ran business !

I always seem to find the person who explains and finds what I need here. I always prefer to come here vs the one on Tudor. Today the window guy was super helpful as I am planning some window replacements.

Home Depot has always been a great place to visit for my home projects. the staff are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. they have NEVER failed to know what aisle the items I need are in.

Blinds cutting machine is always down or no one knows how 2 operate it..alot of unfriendly employees there.

Great for the latest in lights for the home remodel!

A very nice lady named Fili in customer service at the Abbott Road Home Depot in Anchorage is a real credit to the store. She assisted with an online purchase of a scale after I encountered glitches in the system. Fili was polite and patient and made sure my purchase was successful. Im grateful for her help.

Good luck on trying to get a hold of anyone if you call! Day #2 of trying to reach the blinds department. I waited for 38 minutes on hold Monday, finally left a message for Becky, whom I was told would call me back after her break. Its Thursday and still nothing. Been on hold for 16 minutes today and still nothing...

They were very efficient and courteous and prepared for the transaction which quite a contrast to my local HD.

I didnt, but what if I did? Even attempted to look a little lost by a couple to see. Nope. Nothing.I have horrible experiences with Home Depots in Anchorage. They usually have to order appliances and then it takes forever to arrive. They may say its free delivery, but you find out later they add it to the cost of the appliance. If I can I wont shop here again if I can find it elsewhere.

I absolutely HATE shopping at this store. I can NEVER get any assistance -even after hunting all over the store to find 3 different associates to request someone to help gather - for example 10 pre-hung doors and ready to pay over $1000.... you still sit in aisle 23 for over an hour... as I am at this very moment. This seems to be the case at Every Anch Home Depot wherein Ive waited 2 hours for them to gather flooring that was supposed to be ready at Will Call or as a 54 115 lb woman trying to load sheetrock into carts as they walk right in by, nonphased by your struggling and never offering to so much as hold a cart thats rolling away from you. I buy and sell foreclose homes and spend up to $70,000 in rehab costs and cringe every time Home Depot is the store Im forced to go to

Typical big box hardware, materials, tool store. They may have a bigger selection and variety than Lowes though 🤔

I like home depot a lot. Home depot seems like the Sams club as Lowes is to Costco. I like Sams better because I can get what I need and not stand in line long.

They alway have the home repair equipment we need and there staff is pretty knowledgeable about questions u might have.

The customer service here is poor at best. The product knowledge is all but non-existent. Good for bid you ask anyone for help. They might have to actually stop talking about movies with other co-workers just to help you. What was I thinking. Even the cashier was to busy talking to someone else and made mistakes. So I guess it is an inconvenience for the employees to wake up and come to work. I understand this generation of younger folks dont have any ambition to succeed. They still wont $15 an hour and think they work to hard. I better stop before I get to crazy.

Its the McDonalds of hardware and lumber. The location is convenient with good parking. They have tons of inventory, however, there are times when Im not in the mood to wander around 1,000,000 square feet of big box. I mostly wind up here when AIH is closed or a smaller joint doesnt have what Im after.

Home Depot has always had decent stock. I question their desire as a company and this stores desire to deliver customer service much less service at a level that would make me leave my Military Discount at Lowes. They also didnt care as a store or company about my issues with the company who runs their credit card.

Found what I need!

Romey Diny and Matt all provided great customer service. I rarely shop Home Depot, and have never been impressed with the prices or service. Today, these employees and changed my opinion. Id happily shop this Home Depot in the future.

I cant speak on other HD stores; but, I can about this one store in Anchorage Alaska off Abbott Road. I LOVE THIS STORE!! I shop there so much that most of the associates know me by name.The workers dont always know the answers to my questions, which is okay with me; I dont know anyone who knows everything. But, the workers at this store will stick with you until they find someone who may be able to answer my questions and not leave me standing in a isle waiting on a worker to find additional assistance (that usually never shows up to assist in other stores) and I have to find someone else to assist and they also get lost like the 1st employe that I first encountered and they ever come back to assist me.At this HD, if the 1st person dont know, they will get on a computer and get an answer for me or find a product I looking for, even if it means sending me to another hardware store that does have what I am looking for rather Im looking for answers or products. If they have the product in the store and I find it cheaper elsewhere, they will try to price match or let me know where I can go and get the product at the lowest price.Since the store first opened, I have never had a bad experience in this particular HD Store or any of the employees.Keep up the excellent customer service; I appreciate hassle free shopping and this HD does it with style, thanks for all you do especially for those of us who are Veterans

I came here for the D.I.H. class that they hold every third Thursday. We made awesome decorative rope shelves. The people who work at this location are great! They are friendly and knowledgeable. They raffled off prized during the class and I won a very nice BBQ grill and accessories. Needless to say, I was thrilled! I will make this my local Home Depot store.

I’ve used this location and others around town for lots different projects and they continue to disappoint. Home Depot in general needs to figure out how to make its computer system reflect what these store actually have stocked. This store in particular is HORRIBLE about restocking their supplies. Almost every time I come in I have to show the employees that the website shows they have an item and the either find it in the back or don’t.Today was the third time I’ve come to the store looking for something that the website shows in stock but after a lot of wasted time looking and waiting it’s not there.I’ve place picked up orders that went unfilled because they were out of stock of the item. But instead of informing me upfront on the websiteor even when I called to check on the order I got the run around for days.Today was the last straw when I go in to find an item that shows in stock online but is no where in the store. The sign for the item was there, amongst the others that were in disarray, but the guy who looked for it said they hadn’t stocked it for years. For years! There was no offer to order one or even bothering to check the other stores around town. It’s a vacuum belt. A very common vacuum belt.Home Depot has piss poor service and a horrible system in place for its employees to succeed. Save yourself A LOT of time and shop local or online.

Diney and Manny were two of the best staffs that I’ve ever met in any hardware stores!!!! They were above and beyond helping us out in finding what we need. Exceptional service, supportive and very informative throughout the process that made us pleasantly surprised these people still exist.We were looking for a Honda generator 2200W from the other side of the town. Since the other location didn’t have it, we were referred to come to this location but we couldn’t find it here either. Manny and Diney approaches us offering help. They were trying to find the product but was unsuccessful after attempting it for the first 15 min. They got our numbers and told us that they will keep us updated. Many people fail to follow up after this point. However, Diney kept us informed about the status and reminded us that she didn’t forget about it and still searching for it. She also called us soon after once she found it and we were able to purchase it right away!!I was very satisfied that she kept us updated with the status. We felt valued. Truly appreciate their hard work. I recommend this location of Home Depot for anyone looking for first class service. Thank you!

Hit or miss with the employees if they speak English or acknoweldge you. Rarely do they know where something is located. Go to Lowes not much better but the dont ignore you as much lol.

Great staff even on July 4th. They had just what I needed and they were very helpful in finding it.

It sucked. Looked for sales person for 10 min. After finally finding one was told I had to wait until she was done getting down an item. I waited 12 min. Looked for Broan range hood myself. Store website said aisle 28, bay 4, 8 available . There is no bay 4! I saw no Broan range hoods. Finally left. Couldnt find any help after 35 minutes and left. ZERO STARS
