Good friendly people. Mike Sr Kelly and spike took care of me and my vehicle. The technicians knows what theyre doing It only took 2 days for my auto start to be installed. I would recommend MGM if your looking for good reliable source.
Best audio. alarm, and many other services shop in town. Mike and crew are the best.
If you plan on getting your auto start fixed for the 3rd time already, dont bring it back to this shop. Super unprofessional with consideration for time and minimal effort to get tasks done. Dropped a truck off at 8:30am and it took them 8 hours to get started on it
MGM is reliable. They work quickly and very professionally. I enjoyed their service. They went above and beyond what was expected.
I had an auto start and alarm installed but had to return for further work. Mike took excellent care of me and my vehicle. The company is very professional, clean, knowledgeable and courteous. I would recommend MGM Vehicle Services for all your automotive needs.
Wonderful customer service. Came in yesterday with an auto start remote issue. Mike was extremely knowledgeable, and was able to get my remote back on its feet again. For all your auto repair needs, this is the place! Thank you MGM, I will return!Susanne
Was given information on pricing before anything was done. Fixed what needed to be fixed and for a very reasonable price. Will be back tomorrow with another vehicle that needs some TLC
I brought my truck to MGM with an electrical problem. I warned them it was a tricky one that had stumped other shops, but they were sure they could fix it. In fact, they convinced me not to try a workaround, and to go after the root problem instead. After three visits and several hundred dollars, the problem still isn’t fixed. Even the workaround wasn’t done the way I wanted.Sometimes a shop needs to start working on a vehicle to know what’s wrong with it. As long as it’s clear what they’re doing doesn’t come with a guarantee, fair enough. But that was never made clear to me, until it was too late. Instead they kept talking about how good their technicians are, what work they had already done, what I did and didn’t know about my vehicle, and what I would have spent at other shops. None of that fixed my problem. They charged me anyway, and wouldn’t provide a refund.Bottom line, I wouldn’t go to MGM to get any work done.
These guys go above and beyond. Hooked me up with a flexible rugged ridge driveline and rescued my Jeep in Fairbanks mid winter after I broke the stock one I had in snowstorm nenana hills. Long story short these these guys will have our business for life.
Amazing customer service! Managed to get a new remote for my vehicle for an affordable price. It didnt even take that long to install the remote, it was fast and easy. I would definitely recommend shopping there!
I took my Jeep Compass to have the remote starter reprogrammed. I was told there was a 55 dollar up front fee for programming the remote however sometime it works and sometime it do not. The service Tech came back and told me he was unable to program the remote and that my system was not working anymore and I will need to purchase a new unit. Long story short, I took my vehicle somewhere else and a simple $69.00 remote resolves my problem. Update! After taking my car to a different auto start shop, they was able to see that the MGM Tech had unplugged my system. All the new shop did was connect the system back together and matched a remote to my original starter kit.
I ordered Weathertech floor liners from MGM Vehicle Services, they came in in just 3 days, much less expensive than online direct with Weaterhtech’s website, I also saved a huge amount on the freight. I have done business with the crew at MGM many times. I have never had a bad experience with the product or the service at Spike’s company. Thank’s again for the great service.
I had originally recommended MGM to my family, friends, and coworkers.I will now recommend that no one give any business to this company ever again.I originally had a remote start installed on my truck about 20 years ago, when MGM was located off Arctic Spur (I believe). I have always been happy with the remote start. So when my in-laws needed a remote start on their car a couple years ago, I went to MGM at their current location on Commercial Drive. (I’m still not sure if it is the same owner from 20 years ago).Mike Lasky, the current owner talks a good game about great services, cost savings, etc. So over the next couple of years, I had new headlights installed in two of my vehicles, and then even mechanical work completed on both vehicles because Lasky bragged about the abilities of his mechanic, and again the savings he would provide. When receiving the bills, I didn’t see any savings. We spent thousands of dollars on services.I have since had to spend thousands more at another shop to fix what Lasky’s mechanic supposedly fixed. The aftermarket headlights leaked, allowing moisture inside and causing them to fog. I took my truck back once. They kept it overnight while they supposedly repaired the headlights. Once again this last winter, one of the headlights had standing water inside and was completely fogged up. Upon closer inspection, I found that MGM had broken a piece off the top corner of the lens, allowing water to run inside. They had obviously put a little silicone around the edges and called it good. (All of this required two days, because they needed to dry out the headlight and allow the sealer to cure).I tried to call Lasky the other day. I was advised he was “on the phone,” and would be for quite a while. This appears to be something Lasky tells his receptionist to say, because he’s seems to be on the phone every time I call. I said I would hold for him, which I did for a long time. After several minutes of waiting, the receptionist came back on to say Lasky would be even longer and need to call me back. Not surprising, he never called me, which he has done before as well. I wanted to find out what the product warranty on my headlights was, because I don’t feel that headlights that cost me several hundreds of dollars should have ever leaked when brand new. (Not to mention the installers of these headlights then broke one while supposedly resealing it, still did not fix it, and never told me, the customer that they had broken the headlight.I removed my own headlight at home, used a sealant other than silicone that will hold up better, and filled in the broken corner. (All things that MGM could have done had they taken some care in the product they provide). This has been a hard lesson learned, and has cost me thousands of dollars. (I know of at least one friend that had the same issues with them over aftermarket headlights).I will discourage anyone from using this business. The services provided have been disappointing, and the customer service is horrible.Addition to this review:MGM finally made this right. Although the new lights they offered did not fit my truck, they replaced the leaking lights with new OEM lights for my truck, with a higher quality light output than the original lenses. They also upgraded my light bulbs, so when its all said and done, they made this as right as they could make it.
Good place to go for moose lites
Best service Ive had from anything dealing with Automotive. Easy to work with and very knowledgeable. Dealerships could learn a few things on service from them.
Went for a reset on the auto start and lasted only 3 starts
Expert aftermarket installers. This is a local business that you can rely on to do the job right and to understand your specific needs and offer solutions.
They promised me they would have the key fob I needed the next day. Next day I called and asked if they had it, they said yes. Drive from Eagle River to Anchorage just for the to say they didnt have it. Then were rude, and made no apology for the inconvenience. Go to Distinctive Rides in Wasilla instead.
Horrible customer service. I spoke with them on the phone about a replacement remote start key fob and they agreed to price march the competitors. I went in to pick it up and they forgot to tell me that it was out of stock but they were putting in an order that afternoon, and I again had to discuss the price matching and the girl behind the counter remembered that she heard someone agreed to that.Well a month later I got the call that they had come in and they said I could either come in at 8:30 or 9:30 to pick it up and get it programmed. When I arrived 20 minutes early I was told by the owner that there are no appointments and it is first come first serve. Also, he told me that he was not going to honor the price matching and no one would have quoted me that price. I simply laughed and said I would just go to Best Buy since that was who they were price matching anyway.Small locally owned shops, this is the type of poor customer service that makes me not want to deal with your price gouging and drives me to shop online or at the big box stores.I will be telling everyone I know the way you treated me and will never go back to MGM truck accessories
Its a good place nice polite PPL
For all of your auto or truck needs, viper alarms to stereos great place and Mike and Steph will take care of you right
I so badly wanted to like this shop. I used them on a ‘91 F-150 years ago and had no issued. In the last year or so I’ve brought 3 vehicles to them. Lots of work on each one. Very decent pricing and quality parts. One of the reviews said that this shop quotes you on something and when you come back it’s all different. That’s dead-on accurate. After a while I learned to never trust what they say but to come in for an invoice and STILL let them work on my vehicles. I had a sedan, a mid-size truck and a full-size truck. My full-sized truck had actuator issues within the dashboard. Brought it in, paid a heafty price and left. Just barely out of the driveway the same sound came back. Mike said he’d take a look, said something about my heating system went out. “But why does it have the exact same sound?” He couldn’t answer me. I had a Mid-sized truck that we got all new breaks and shocks on, $2000 bill. Same day we started hearing and feeling friction in the drivers side wheel. Brought it back, he said the 4-wheel drive was going out and quoted us another $1200! I got suspicious and brought the truck to the dealership. They said that whoever changed the breaks filled the breakline with the wrong differential fluid. The truck was fixed after $140 ($125 diagnosis + $15 to change the fluid). Saved me $1200! The sedan I brought to him also had to go back to the shop after they worked on it for alignment issues and cv shaft work. Bottom line, after I noticed the pattern of having to bring back my vehicles for more work after the initial repair (and the additional $1200 quote to the Tacoma) I decided to quit going there. I feel like he knows what he’s doing and he has new customers all the time that have no idea about the scandalism. I referred several people and my family to this shop. I’m done with them. Good luck!
VERY BAD BUSINESS!!! Go to muffler city where you might spend a buck more but your customer service is guaranteed. Horrible experience twice in a row. The owner along with his employees that follow his bad business are not worth your time or money. They take your money and then play games with your time. Everyone knows how frustrating car problems can be but when youre a money hungry shop like MGM there is nothing grand about that name trust and believe. Make sure you record them when youre in there because they will tell you one thing give you and invoice with an agreement and then change that agreement when you have to call them because you havent heard anything. Also another thing to look out for with MGM and Mike is that they will sneak charges onto your invoice and say they told you about it. He charged me multiple freight charges that were not mentioned initially at any point.
Awesome customer service. Get you what you need / want.
Worse customer service Ive ever had. Had to take truck back several times to get headlight aligned, new $200 headlight failed after 2 months, no warranty no service no integrity
New discs, new pads all the way around rock between disc and pad on drivers side front after job was done less than 8k miles and bolt falls out of caliper on same wheel do not take your vehicle the these people
The customer service is very cordial and I think they are good at their job the truck is working well the automatic ignition.
