Had the brakes on my Tundra done last year and back again this year because of rotors. Last year they didn’t identify that the rotors would need replacement before long. When you get both front and rear brakes done you’re not expecting to be back a year later for more work and would like to have that option rather than leave trusting that all the needed work is done and your good for a few years.Now, they no longer have courtesy rides that can be prearranged. They attempt to arrange Lyft once you’re there. Lyft was non existent and they had no Plan B. So I had to wait for them to find someone to drive customers in a van around town. The driver had no priority for who was dropped off first, just those that were closest/easiest…not the one person who was late to work and missing meetings due to their unprepared service department. I would have scheduled the service work for a different day had I known they were this disorganized and not capable of coordinating rides. When their Plan A fails, they don’t have a Plan B or C prepared in the name a good customer service. Between suboptimal brake work and customer service I would discourage using Kendall Toyota Service Department.
Wife scheduled 100k service on her car last week. Told them it also needed tire sensor looked at and a oil change. Was quoted abt $650. Took it in before 8 this morning. When she picked it up. They had done the oil change and told her she needed the tire sensor checked, coolant flush and cabin air filter replaced. The last 2 should have been done in the 100k service. When she complained to the manager his comment was maybe they did not have time. Final bill was for an oil change that we could have gotten cheaper at Jiffy lubes and had it done in 30 minutes not 5 hours. Wont do that again.
