Super nice people work here! Food in the hot plate looks good but we just bought some kalo to plant at home.

Daam, Daam Im from San Jose. Born in American samoa raised in San Jose. Came down to visit family. Yes people are nice but nice is not good enough for yaah to make up ur own price.i spent over $100+ food not good at all. Poasa is way better reasonable good food. With this store Ill never gonna come here no more. Sell me a thin as football mask for 12 I even givem tips. No wonder why samoa support China store I rather cook my own. I thought after $100 atleast throw in a pie something just saying.

I tried to support this place but time and time again they keep disappointing me. The last time I was there their Turkey tails and pork sausages were overcooked, and looked they were sitting in the warmer all day long. The luau was way too salty. The chopsui was bland. I been there so many times but never again. I try to support my peoples but if your not gonna put out quality food then why do yall even bother to sell food then? Dont wast yalls money going here. Go to island poly grill in Carson or poasa too but not here.

Despite this, they leave a fairly small footprint in our area and it takes some tracking down as some restaurants and steam tables have closed over the years.One place to find food prepared daily is at the back of a very nondescript strip mall on Western Avenue in Anaheim, once again proving the point that driving too fast is not only dangerous but a good way to miss the good stuff.The shop sells colorful printed shirts, bags of chips and candy from Australia and New Zealand that must be available in Samoa, some fresh produce, and flags and other memorabilia. The main focus for us of course was the steam table and prepared foods, of which they have three sizes of meals depending on how hungry you are. The already gigantic lunch ($11.99) is technically the smallest but feeds three (non-islander noobs) and consists of taro and banana under a sausage (sosisi) on one half with lamb over a base of sapasui, or Samoan-style chow mein on the other.

Havent been here in a long time and was so stoked to find out they were still here! Its under new management and theyre real cool people. Theyve got a bunch of neat stuff but for sure you gota try the pineapple pie, its amazing :)

Really good food and the works are nice and friendly...they always have the newest samoan movies first and music to...nice designer clothes...the price is not bad but I love this place.

Not much variety at all to buy but the girls were friendly and helpful. Im assuming the guy there was there Dad and the Owner. The girls quoted me prices then when they rung me up it was $25 more than they quoted me because the guy was standing there. I didnt say anything because I felt Im half Samoan, thats my donation for there buisness.Then I thought about it and got mad. The guy judged me by the color of my skin and gave my cousin who is full Samoan a free pineapple pie and spoke to her with a smile in Samoansaying here have this on us.its fresh out the oven and thank you for coming in and looked at me with a blank stare. I understood eveything he said and realized that blank stare was Your going to pay for all the pies I give away today and maybe they will write a nice review to fix the bad review on the half moon pies here. Guess what? she dont like those pies and its my favorite. I understood you and she didnt. Judging a book by its cover is wrong and your predudice judgemetal self will hurt your business do to lack of wisdom and heart. Ripping people off and not having much in stock as well not welcoming to everyone is not a good business call .I drove 45 minutes to go see your store and brought my cousin and family there just to get ripped off and deal with a racist was a horrible experience .I strongly advise everyone not to waste there time going.

Ok I really dont yelp... but here it is.. Today was our last day in socal. And I asked my husband lets go and checked out a Samoan store on our way back to San Francisco and we ended up at this store... and let me tell you.. we open the door and there were 2 young women and a gentleman that we serving the food.. as we walked in they had greeted us with a beautiful smile and a gentle smile. And my son wanted a hat, which he got and my mother in law and husband got a matai plate and my mother in law got her a lamb and taro.. sorry I wanted one but blood pressure issues lol.. I had to turn it down.. but anyway my husband is very hard man to please and he loved it.. and even my mother.. they said it doesnt look appetizing and its so good..I got 2 German buns that um going to wait until it get home and warm up and eat..My mom always said to her kids.. its not the food that people get full from its its your smile.. and I always believed in that.. keep smiling thanks for the great experience.. Love this place we got the Matai special thats alot of food.

My hubby and I normally visit Poasa whenever we are in California for business. This time needed to find a store closer to our hotel and this was the first we visited this place. Spent over $100 and the pie fala was mafu. The owner said it was the flour but 2 both pineapple pies were rancid. So I guess we will make the drive to Poasa. .😕😕😕

I came from AZ my cousin actually told me about this place I thought it was good n all that but wen me and my family order the food it wasn’t good the chop sui taste weird it looks white and the turkey tail taste hella bad, anyways this will be the last time to come to this place the customer was actually rude she looks like she had a bad day or something I mean who knows..

The food was horrible. Some of the food we bought was spoiled and couldnt return it due to their all sales are final. I would never return of recommend this place.
