Wonderful store. I’m there at least twice per week. Clean, great selections, fair prices, and friendly staff.

Had a good shopping trip, found all of the items on my list and a few extra things,the staff was helpful and timely.

I dont know not my fave place but workable. Bought a J Wray and Nephew rum which is made in Jamaica. You can get almost all types of alcohol here. A little pricey. Customer service was ok. Saw this wine that one my friends recommended. Gonna go back n get it

Its great they have a large selection of products you cant find elsewhere. My experience with curbside service was terrible. They never responded to My phone call or email concerning this. Gave me product expiring next day.Waited for over an hour. Today I was overcharged again. Will be more vigilant next time as cashier rings the items up. Disappointing experiences.

Not from Amherst but work there, no Giant eagle in my town, tried to stop real quick to get something on my lunch and you cant even pay with out scanning your giant eagle card at the express register. Makes no sense

They stay open until 9. Dont like the idea that they have too many self serve lanes and not more people working. That takes away jobs. I like their prices are better these days abd that they have fuel perks. Helps us poor people save on gas ⛽

This Big Bird ha ha Giant Eagle is great. From the fresh produce to the fresh meats and seafood are great and great prices and a liqueur store all in one place!

Fruit selection was okay, although some looked rough. Prices are high for the area, and found out too late I couldnt use the self checkout without a giant eagle card. What??? Waited in the 12 items or less line for three transactions that had full carts because every single lane was full with the same. I wont be going back, absolutely not worth the hassel to pay more.

My wife and I received our COVID vaccinations at Giant Eagles Amherst location. The staff in the Pharmacy were incredibly efficient and most polite, taking time to answer any questions we had. It was a wonderful experience through and through.

Its a typical Giant Eagle, nothing to write home about. The location is convenient, the customer service is decent. The deli counter has a cranky old lady working there, she reminds me of the school lunch lady, you know the mean one that hates kids, lol. Shes very entertaining, and knows her deli counter well. But dont get on her bad side she might slice your meat too thick. Lol. Good store, good staff, have fun and visit. Generally clean. 👍❤️😉

I go to this giant eagle all the time. They have a great bakery and the fruits and vegetables are always fresh. Plus a fantastic wine and beer selection! And a good liquor store. Its very well managed.

Nice store, but the restrooms are usually pretty gross. Curbside pickup is nice but the app/ordering process needs work especially communicating out of stock substitution options.

This was our first time at this Giant Eagle and ask for some help finding an item and the employee was very friendly and helpful. The cashier was also so very nice to us.

It’s unfortunate that this grocery store doesn’t comply with the health order mandate as there are exemptions for those from wearing a mask. They don’t care about those who are exempted, their *new policy* is that EVERY PERSON MUST WEAR a mask or face shield, offering curbside as an alternative and refusing to allow good paying customers to check out. I will support businesses that serve both masked and unmasked, as we don’t know people’s situations. People have the right to choose where and how to shop and not be forced to resort to curbside service. There are people who don’t have an email account to sign up for these alternatives or even accept EBT as an option for payment. I really enjoyed shopping and supporting Giant Eagle however I will not be a returning customer EVER again.

Not a bad store, fruit is not consistently fresh though. Make sure you check dates on perishable goods. Quick and efficient chahiers! Good covid prevention protocol.

The pharmacy would order medications they dont normally stock. I had a prescription that needed filled and the pharmacist told me they dont carry and they dont do special orders.

Went there specifically for fresh fish. Fish counter has a sign that says they are open 10-7. Got to the counter at 6pm, and they had completely shut down the fish counter. Thanks for ruining dinner.

Item that was advertised, was not visible. When I asked about it, I was treated as though I was a huge inconvenience to the worker. The butcher left and went to the back cooler. While I waited, a manager, and two workers went by and asked if I was being waited on? The second time the manager came by, he went back and spoke with the butcher. Finally, I got the ribs I wanted, but not once did I get an apology from anyone! If you are going to advertise something, have it out! This is not the first time this has happened.

Good selection but prices on a lot are high. Enjoy the sales and the gluten free options.
