Mama Jos is such a cute store. There is a wonderful selection of fresh baked pies. They also carry a variety of other pastries and desserts. If you get there a bit early, they offer warm fresh baked meat pot pies that are quite tasty too. Great quality. The store also has some cute, small home decorating items as well.

Fantastic pies. My fav is Bumbleberry - just great mix of berries in flaky crust and not too sweet. French silk too. Great when I can find their pies at Discount Drug Mart by me but well worth going to their Amherst shop. Love being able to choose from 3 pie sizes to give my guests options!

Loved this place, it was our go to pie place for holidays, special occasions and just when we wanted to pick one up just because. Always went to the Medina store, and so disappointed they permanently closed over a year ago. Amherst is just not a convenient location for me to drive to, so we have found another bakery for our pie order for this years holiday party. Still wishing they were here.

I love the original apple pie the best. I also like their sweet potato pie in the large size as well as the banana split as always go to pies. Never been disappointed with any selection I have gotten but I have a few I prefer over others. Many selections and amazing homemade care in every pie.

Quaint gift shop. Smelled wonderful. So many varieties of pie in the cooler. They even have pot pies. Havent tried it yet, but whether you need an old timey trinket for a gift, or have a taste for a fresh French silk or key lime, or want something different for lunch, Id recommend stopping by.

I bought 4 pies from a well known local bakery. 2 of them were terrible and the other 2 were average at best. Mama Jos are the best! Lesson learned! Its Mama Jos from now on!

Dont let the outside fool you, this is pie Valhalla. Ive been banned from going there by myself because I can never decide on just one. No sugar added options available, order well in advance of holidays to be safe.

I work at Tractor Supply Co. which is next door to Mama Jos and the smells are almost as good as the pies and cakes. Its a MUST try for holiday pies. They are made fresh daily and they are delicious. Decent prices and friendly people are a bonus also. Would reccomend to any and every one!!!

Great pies! Call ahead or pre-order if you want a particular flavor--especially if it is popular. They will make gluten free pies by order only and they do need at least a few days notice for those.The strawberry cheesecake pie is divine. Caramel apple pie smells heavenly and tastes just as good. A coworker loves the rhubarb pie. (I know its not everyones favorite, but it is hers. And it is hard to find as just rhubarb and not strawberry-rhubarb.)

When our original dessert vendor went out of business (and didn’t tell us), Mama Jo’s came through in the clutch to save us. They made 160 mini pies for our wedding, which were an enormous hit. From the moment we first reached out to them, the staff at mama Jo’s was super friendly, accommodating, and totally professional. We knew we wouldn’t have to worry about them closing up shop before our big day. They didn’t require too much lead time, and made us four different flavors of pies – buckeye, apple caramel, bumbleberry, and pumpkin - which were delivered on time and in perfect shape. Our guests LOVED them, not only were they totally delicious, but they were super easy to eat at about 3’’ each. The staff even went out of their way to get us a small wedding gift, which totally blew us away. What vendors do that nowadays!? We were so thrilled with the “family” treatment we got from Mama Jos, and cant wait to tell everyone we know with their exceptional service and products, and to go back for more pie!!

Soooo many pies! It was hard to choose. We took a strawberry rhubarb, and a crumb topped cherry. Both were delicious!

I love when other pie shops put up negative reviews. They only use one word to describe what they dont like and use multiple names or anonymous.Ive been to both Mama Jo Pie Shop! The only complaint I have is which Pie to pick. Usually end up buying more than I need.

We bought a small banana cream pie at store appkes and the pie had bad bananas in it and was all cream? Wth???

I like the pies here but was taken aback with the rudeness of a worker there. Older lady was very cut and seemed short tempered especially when i wasnt speaking to her in the first place. Not a way to treat paying customers.

When I bought a bumbleberry pie at the Medina fair I thought I was hooked. Just the right amount of sweetness/tartness. Few years go by, I see the pies at Discount Drug Mart in Medina. I was really happy until I bought some. The bumbleberry was way too tart to enjoy But it was definitely edible.. Just pucker up lol. But then yesterday I got a custard pie. Ugh I had never met a pie that was so bad I couldnt eat it, until that one. It was seriously just plain scrambled eggs in a crust. No sweetness, and the texture wasnt quite right. I had to put it out for the birds and squirrels, and they arent cheap pies! Im going to try another variety and give it a chance... I really want to like them.. Its so convenient for me to buy them at DDM.
