I had a wonderful experience here! The doctor administering the exam was thorough and professional. My eyes have changed and his adjustments were accurate.The ladies up front were SO helpful with my frames selection and purchase. In particular a woman named Adrian helped me select my frames, she let me try on so many different styles and colors to find the one that suited me best. She was extremely nice and personable.I left my appointment feeling confident and excited for my new glasses! Thanks so much!

Good selection. Plenty of people to help. Lower prices than other area stores. The only thing I would change is have a sign with information about their 2 for 1 frames. That isn’t clear to customers.

Honestly, Im not sure why this location has poor reviews. Im a picky person, but the ladies working were very attentive and helped me decide on my current frames. They were fun to shop with and I havent had any issues with them so far. Prices are fair and they had a great selection. I would recommend this shop to friends.

We absolutely LOVE this place! They treat you like family here and it is obvious that they love what they do. The doctor is very thorough. The customer service is fantastic and extends far beyond the time of the sale. Katharine has taken a pair of our sons glasses that seemed far beyond repair and made them look almost brand new. Adjustments are meticulous and they arent happy until were happy. I would (and do) recommend them often!

Love this place. I worked with Dr. Megan here (not me) and she was amazing. they gave me a script for my contacts and glasses with no issue that I could shop online. I ordered replacement lenses for an old frame that I love they came in no problem. They were easy to wear and looked great. They helped me with fitting the frames to my face even though I didnt get the frames there. The doctor listened to me and helped me get a really sharp prescription. Im moving to a new town, and I have to struggle to find a new eye doctor. not looking forward to it. I will really miss having this team of friendly eye professionals to help me see better.

Was pretty surprised that they changed my nose pads and adjusted my frame for free. Cause Pearl Vision charged me 10 dollars for the nose pads, and I cant tell any differences between them.

We recently went to get our 14 year old new glasses. They had a giant selection, making it easy for her to find something she loved. The staff was very helpful in helping her find the perfect pair. We will go back for sure!!

Purchased glasses for my husband in December and the dog decided to chew them up...7 months later, they were covered by warranty and we were able to purchase a replacement pair for a deep discount. Very happy with the service we received on 7/20/19 in Ames.

Have been coming here for several years now and the staff is always incredibly nice and helpful. On my most recent visit I was helped by Adriene who was nice enough to help me pick out my new pair of glasses.

This store had unfriendly service with even worse communication. If you enjoy being talked down to, and having to follow up due to a lack of clear communication, this is the place for you. You also get to pay a premium price for the unpleasant experience and inconvenience.There are a lot of options for this type of service in Ames, and this in not a good one.

I had a great experience at the Ames, Iowa Eyemart Optical Outlet store. This was my first time buying glasses so I was overwhelmed by all the great selections they had. Adriene was a great help in explaining their products and very helpful with picking out my new glasses. I highly recommend Eyemart for your optical need.

This is an edited review. The salesperson I dealt with when I ordered my glasses told me they would be ready sooner than their company policy states. I was told by Employee KatA 779 that my glasses would be ready in a week at the latest but when I called to find out if my glasses were in I was then told that it always takes 7-10 business days to get the glasses back and mine were not there. I was upset because I had taken that day off of work to pick them up. Later that day I was contacted by one of the company managers. She was able to track my order and told me they would be in the next day. She also offered to have a salesperson wait for me to come in, even if it was a little past the stores closing time. Their later customer service was very good and the glasses are of good quality. I would recommend them but be aware that it can take up to two weeks to get your glasses.

Their solution to a poorly made pair of glasses is just wear them for a few weeks and see if your eyes adjust. I ordered my glasses on January 29. On April 27 I took possession of a pair of glasses that is mostly correct (I have to tilt my head up for the right eye to focus correctly). In between those 2 dates I had lenses made 3 times and was made to wear glasses that were not correct to see if my eyes adjusted. I will never, EVER buy glasses from them again.

I was looking at frames on two separate occasions and heard sales people mocking and making fun of customers. When I wrote to alert management about this, I was told that their employees dont do that. Unless youre in to that kind of thing, Id steer clear of this place.

Brand new glasses broke the first time they were taken off my face. Company refused to help without me paying for the majority of everything all over again. Customer service was absolutely awful every time I went to the store. If youre going to buy cheap products like this building sells, at least go to Wal Mart. Theyll treat you better

Terrible!I went in after I had a car accident because my frames got damaged, they werent able to fix them but offered to replace them at half the cost. Great! However they didnt write down on my chart which frame it was, so we had to select a whole new frame. That was December 2015.April 2016, I have the 3rd new frame and lens and still cant see properly! I was told my Kami the Manager that they have done all they will do and no refund. SO I have a pair of glasses that I cant see in properly. She told me well we will just have to agree to disagree and we are not helping you any further! Well thank you Eyemart!

I went in to order glasses, I waited the 10 days to get glasses, the pair that showed up wasnt the one I ordered. I told the fellow working that those frames werent what I ordered (the prescription was right), and he told me that that company constantly changes selection of frames. I went to the wall to get the frames that I wanted and showed him, that that pair is what I ordered, and he said that he would talk to the saleslady who I thought was ordering the first pair from.So two weeks later, I think the pair I ordered showed up, though I had another lady check the prescription which seemed to be a little weak, these frames are a little more flimsy than the ones I thought I ordered the first time. Just go somewhere else...
