Don’t be fooled by the restoration photographs these are late model mechanics not car builders. I took them a vehicle that was of very high sentimental value and was honest that it needed a lot of work. I was prepared to pay up to the the value of the car for repairs but after having it for a week I was contacted by Eric who advised it would be too difficult for them and they would “have to pass on my business”.He recommended a junkyard! They were however nice enough to offer me my Iowa State 10% discount on the double tow.

These guys are experts! Came in for a unsteady idle and they not only solved that problem but another problem I was having with my clutch. There arent a lot of places that will work on a car from 1990 but these guys are professionals. Work was done quick and they gave frequent updates about the progress. Highly recommend them if you need work done for any reason.

I had been reviewing places to take my car to replace the door handle that broke off, I purchased the handle myself and I needed someone to put it on..long story short, I contacted a few places and customer service starts from the time you first answer the phone. Campus Garage were/are polite, and quoted me best could without seeing car, didnt seem bothered or put off that I had my own parts. I called twice before making appointment. Great experience with campus garage. Eric was very patient with me because I didn’t know much about cars but had many questions. He was very honest with cost and didn’t ask me to do anything unnecessary. The repair was covered partially by my insurance, so he worked directly with the adjuster and save me a lot of time. Power steering pump needed to be replaced. The garage always seems busy, but they got me an estimate the afternoon I dropped off the car. The first pump was faulty so it took an extra day to get a replacement. A positive experience all told.

I left Denver and was headed to Minneapolis, and was taking an Ames Iowa exit for fuel when a heat shield that had been removed and re installed during routine maintenance prior to leaving Denver had fallen off and lodged itself into the front side of my rear driveshaft (all wheel drive vehicle) which ended up damaging the real wheel drive portion of the differential due to my mechanic in Denver’s negligence not tightening the shield correctly. Eric and Charlie at Campus Garage were the ones that assessed the situation and made an emergency repair to my vehicle removing the rear driveshaft allowing me to continue to Minneapolis and then all the way back home to Denver.The professionalism and effort put into my vehicle in nearly a moments notice was something I’ve never seen before at a shop / garage available to the general public. If Campus Garage wasn’t nearly 600 miles from where I reside, that is where my vehicles would be worked on or receive regular service consistently.Thankx guys ‼️

Installed a side mirror for us and fixed a leaking tire. Work completed as stated. Convenient drop off of vehicle. Small campus so they pack the cars in when busy and they make it work. I Never directly dealt with anyone in person but my son who’s vehicle it was picked the car up and had no complaints. We will definitely use them again.

Fixed the problem in a day and sent me on my way. Very professional and efficient. My fix was pretty expensive but they fixed it for $500 less than another quote I got. They explained everything and knew exactly what they were doing unlike the other shop I went to.

They were upfront and honest with me about my car every step of the way and didnt push me to get any repairs that I didnt need. They were also quick to get my car checked out, despite being booked for the whole week. Ill definitely be going there again!

Eric and his mechanics Are very Knowledgeable and trustworthy. I have had them work on 3 different vehicles and have been very satisfied. No surprises.They do honest work and that is everything..

They said it would cost me $100 to open my engine to see the problem and when they found out the engine and was to broken to be repaired they didnt charge me. They also let me keep my broken car in their lot for a week.

These guys diagnosed a check engine light as 2 cylinder misfires, and had the spark plugs and ignition coils replaced within 4 hours. The man I spoke with, Charlie, told me that my car was throwing another error, told me how much it cost for them to fix it for me, how necessary it was, and also how to fix it myself. Im electing to fix it myself because Im a poor college student, but Ill be damned if this isnt the first place that Im sending people to when they have car trouble.

I highly recommend Campus Garage. While the service can be more expensive, it’s completely worth it because the workers are awesome and they do a great job. I have only had positive experiences here!

From the first phone call, I could tell Charlie knew what he was talking about and was looking to not have me spend unnecessary funds. A transmission replacement elsewhere turned into just needing transmission fluid (a LOT of it) at Campus Garage. The other place hadnt even checked that!He was busy (another good sign) and the car was going to have to sit for about 10 days.... He called me the next day and said it was fixed!Charlie made me a customer for life with this first experience.

Took my car there and told them what was wrong with the car and described the noise it was making. They diagnosed my car in under 2 hours and told me exactly what was wrong and did not try to upsell me on a repair. Everyone was very friendly and would highly reccomend this shop.

They fixed the power steering on my Nissan that I could hardly even turn when I brought it in! I rolled out of the parking lot so seamlessly after I brought it in. I really appreciated that they looked at it first, gave me an estimated price that they stuck to! I drove home nearly in tears! I was so happy to be anxiety free driving my vehicle!

Ill start with my conclusion... Im sure they are not the cheapest place around for some jobs, but Im happy paying a fair price for quality work. Campus Garage seems a gold standard in this respect. I intend to use them for future major repairs and maintenance.My experience... I had Campus Garage work on my 2011 Hyundai Sonata a couple of times this year. Both times, I was impressed with how straightforward and competent they were. Each time, they precisely diagnosed my issues within a few hours, and clearly communicated details to me along with a repair plan. No pressure was given for followup with them, nor extra repairs or services. While the repairs werent cheap - ~$2000 in total - I dont feel like they ripped me off. I certainly feel like the quality of their work was top notch.Equally impressive is their organization. They seem on top of things, despite having a rather full parking lot of vehicles to work on. (Thats probably a good testament to their work!) Never did I feel like they were overwhelmed or distracted by other work when they were engaging me. Also, they always seemed to have done their part researching my vehicle and its particular problems - much more than Ive experienced with other general garages.All in all, if youre looking for a competent garage/mechanic that doesnt pull punches nor over-inflate their worth, I think youll be happy with Campus Garage.
