AWESOME is my word of choice!! I locked myself out of my Jeep there in Ames. I call Hansens and they were there in 15 minutes to unlock my car!! THANK YOU SO MUCH Mark!! They are on my list as top notch in service!!

Hands down the best place in Ames for all of your auto needs. They are honest and very reasonable!! I have all of my auto work done at Hansen Sinclair and Mark Hansen Cars. They have done everything from replacing motors to oil changes. I will not go anywhere else. 5+++ rating.

If you are looking for an honest mechanic, I highly recommend Hansens Sinclair. They didnt oversell me on things that could be done, but focused on the issues at hand. I also felt that the cost for repairs was fair. Give them a try and I am sure you wont be disappointed!

Im not sure what to think about this mechanic. Needed to get a blower motor replaced on short notice and they got me in and had time for brakes and an oil change. Price came in under what I expected. Now for the reason I dont know what to think. After they serviced the car it only blows cold air out the floor vents. I took the car back and they said they couldnt get the car to replicate the problem. I picked it up in the afternoon and had to go pick my kids up. Less than 15 minutes (about 20 miles) into my trip home the blower stoped blowing hot air and started blowing AC cold air. I should mention Im from out of town so given the time of day I was unable to turn around and take it back. So it makes me wonder much time they actually spent trying to replicate the problem.TL;DR:Nice peopleNot sure how much I should trust them.

Have taken my vehicles there countless times, never had a bad experience. If it doesnt need to be done you can trust that they wont force the issue. At this point I have blind faith that the repairs and pricing will always be good and fair. Would recommend to any/everyone. If I ever move away from Ames this will be one of the places I will not be able to replace.

I used to live in Ames while attending college. I always took my vehicile to Hansens to be serviced and to fill up my tank with gas. It was amazing to drive through my old town this past week and see many of the faces from 10 years ago! The employees are always friendly and HONEST! I would definitely trust them with your vehicle if you find yourself needing to get it looked at.
