Computer was zapped when we plugged in at local hotel. Had to buy a new one ASAP and got there an hour before close. We were helped and didnt feel rushed at all. Had our puppy and other dog with us and no one made us feel bad since this was an emergency situation. Although we ended up being there after close picking a computer, we didnt feel rushed. I am giving a shout out to DJ for his great customer service and help that day. The only reason I gave 4 stars is the lack of inventory they had to select from.

Successful search for item we needed to replace at home! We had visited the store last week, but they were so busy we could not get help. Today it was a different story (so glad we went again)! Wonderful assistance by an employee who answered all of our questions, knew his products quite thoroughly, provided comparisons between products, showed us items on sale, and made us extremely happy. Usually Best Buy locations offer good customer service and solid recommendations for products you are interested in. However, I am not convinced that this Alpharetta location is the best one to go to. I was in the market for new headphones and browsed before I asked for help. The 1st issue was that the stock was so incredibly low, you could not even see a quarter of the products they had. I still chose to stick around because if I could simply order, once they get a shipment, to pick it up later and that would be fine. Except there was no one on the floor to ask for help and unlock the case. I went up to the computer station to ask and the man said he can radio someone to meet me in the headphone department. 30min later I am still by myself. So I ask again and the man said I radioed, Im not sure where they are. I literally couldnt even give them my money because no one was there to unlock the case. It was disappointing, but I just went on my phone and bought headphones from the brands website. Oh well Best Buy, couldve had my money

I have been to multiple bb locations and this one tops them all. I struggled to find my receipt for an exchange and the two customer service reps were very patient with me while I figured out where it was. When it was time to pay my debit card kept oddly declining and they were patient still while I realized that I was locking my card when I didnt know. They made me fell welcome and not like a nuisance. This will always be our go to location!

Over the past few days, I walked into Best buy to purchase a laptop and to return two of them because one had an issue and the other, I just did not want. Anyway, I had the greatest experience Ive ever had at this store. Usually, my experiences are just kinda blahh because no one ever asks if I need help, its usually me who has to find an associate to help me, but that changed when I met Zack, John, and Michael. These guys are the absolute best! They delivered on everything that I wanted to experience in customer service! They were friendly, professional, and very patient with me. I had them to repeat certain things a few times because Im just not tech savvy and wasnt quite getting it, and they patiently and politely walked me through everything until they were sure that I got it. Each of them brought something very special that added to my wonderful and unforgettable experience and I left feeling very special and even more knowledgeable, than when I walked in! Thats the kind of customer service that look for when I walk into any store, and it will definitely keep me coming back and supporting the business. John, Zack, and Michael...Thank you guys so much for going the extra mile for me and for just treating me like I matter! I will be looking for you all when I come back.

Excellent service!!I purchased my item online & chose the curbside pickup option. It said my order would be ready in about an hour but I would receive updates via text. I was 20 mins from the store so I just decided to start heading that way.Half way there I got a text saying my order was ready. Checked in using instructions in the text once I arrived. Had my item in hand less than 4 mins later w/o ever leaving my car.Seamless process from start to finish + exceeded all expectations = 11 out of 10 experience for this 1st timer here 🙂Well done guys. Definitely earned a repeat customer today👍

I was in-and-out of this Best Buy in 10 minutes getting exactly what I needed. It was just such a joy. Not only that, Sage one of the customer service reps, engaged me in a conversation about the environment. She saw my name was Momma nature. It was just so delightful. I invited her to hear me speak on the environment September 14th at 7 oclock at Autrey Mill Nature Preserve. So this is the fine quality of personnel Best Buy hires.

Zero stars would be more appropriate.Twice this fall I made appointments via Apple Support for “iPhone battery replacement” at Best Buy in Alpharetta, GA.The first time I arrived to be told “the guy who replaces batteries isn’t here today (called in sick)”. I chalked that up to bad luck - and wondered why nobody contacted me to save me a trip and reschedule.The second time I arrived for my appointment and was told “we don’t have anyone to do iPhone battery replacement on weekends” - despite taking my appointment specifically for a battery replacement. This wasn’t just bad luck anymore.The Geek Squad department manager said Best Buy isn’t provided with (Apple) customer info so they could not call and warn us. Frustrating experience.tl;dr - if you need Apple device repairs like phone battery replacement, do yourself a favor and book the service appointment at the Avalon Apple store that is a couple miles away.

The store was jammed packed full of stuff so bad that it was hard to get around in the place. I pre-ordered my items and while the app said it would be ready in about an hour, I waited 4 hours just to be sure. Got there and had to wait for another 2 hours just to find out that one of the items wasnt in stock after all. All this after driving 2 hours to get to the store that had my item in stock! Highly frustrated!

Best Buy has lost my business due to unethical business practices.I ordered an M1 MacBook air for pickup. This is my fifth BTW. These A*holes automatically added a 3 Month Antivirus subscription to my order for $14.99.Im not sure what brain surgeon over at corporate thinks these kinds of shenanigans are a good idea. Going forward Ill just shop at Amazon or the apple store.

Fantastic customer service. Best buy always provides such an excellent experience Everytime I go. Even if I am just looking I am often asked if I have any questions or need help comparing products. Even when the store is packed they manage to ask each and every customer how they are doing, what they are looking for, and if they need help finding anything. Always quick and efficient checkout and almost always fully stocked. They have a very impressive collection of electronics covering every price range and feature. I highly recommend best buy if you are unsure about what electronic device would be best for your particular home setup. Tv, speakers, smart home, appliances, gaming. Everything. 10/10

This BestBuy location has excellent Magnolia people. Very knowledgable. I visited other locations and the sellers there didnt know what a balanced interconnect was. Here - a different story. They know audiophile gear very well. Once in a while you get lucky on prices for discontinued gear. I got a brand new looking REL S/3 sub for just $800! a $1,200 or more discount. Granted, there was no box, manual or other accessories, but I dont care.Such deal happen seldom, though. May be once every 2-3 years.

Before we made our appointment, we called to be sure they had a screen for our iphone to do a screen repair. They confirmed that they did and would “take care of us”. We show up to our appointment and the guy said they didn’t have a screen. Complete waste of time!!!

I purchased almost $30,000.00 dollars in equipment from Desota Gilmore in their magnolia theater dept for my lake house. This was the single worst experience I have had with a retailer in my life. I placed a single pretty simple order for multiple televisions and Sonos speakers as well as outdoor speakers for my backyard.I received no less than 50 emails from bestbuy telling me either my order has been canceled, reordered and installation dates were being moved significantly later than promised and I never changed my initial order once. Installation dates were missed where no one showed up or called. Everything was supposed to be delivered and installed in 2 days. Geek squad people came with 1 Sonos speaker out of an order of many and had to come back 3 additional times. Technicians showed up without the proper wiring to install the outdoor speakers and they were there specifically to install the speakers, key Sonos components required to attach the system To my existing whole house speakers are back ordered and Mr. Gilmore was aware they were impossible to get but still sold me the other equipment and had the geek squad guys show up any way with no way to make the system work as originally promised. There were components that I never got that I have been unable to get a refund for after a month of trying. I was promised a 2000.00 refund for all of their screw ups that was never paid.I asked Mr Gilmore at least 10 times by phone and text to send me the phone number of, or have his manager call me because Best-buy stores are not accepting outside calls and he ignored everyone of of those requests. My location is several hours away from his store and during COVID I have elected not to make the drive and go in person.There are many other horrific things that happened that I just don’t have time to put hereMy only advise is that if you go in to the alpharetta store and someone named Desota Gilmore try’s to help you run, don’t walk away.

I had a horrible experience. Bought a washing machine on Saturday, delivery was scheduled for Monday. They claim that the truck broke down and had to reschedule it. Today is Wednesday and after 5 phone calls, I still do not have a delivery date, not even an estimate. If you are not walking out with something you bought from them, do not do it. Their logistics department is useless.

I took my ipad in. Only a couple years old and babied but the screen is dying. The tech said it would cost as much to replace the item(s) as getting a new one.He then told me if I went to an apple store to trade mine in, I could get additional credits. No charge.He gave me faith in humanity today and Beat Buy will be my first stop when Im shopping electronics!

Walked around for 15 minutes in the laptop section and couldn’t find anyone so I walked around the store and asked two guys for help, I’m kind of shy, but I said excuse me and even though I was standing in front of them they brushed passed me. So I ask the guy at the entrance for help and he calls over lap top advisor Matt who was not super helpful. I wanted to buy a brand new laptop for work and he points out one and doesn’t really take me through features. He also didn’t recommend any other laptops. He didn’t seem very enthusiastic or like he cared about what I bought. They gave me a $50 discount but It doesn’t really make me feel better considering that I’m not even sure if I bought a lap top that has the best performance for what I want to do with it. Honestly thanks for nothing.

When the sales associate couldn’t help me he sent me to the technical department. The guy was rude and somehow we were disconnected. He had my number and didn’t even try to call me back.

I wanted to write this review today to recognize Marcus. My boyfriend and I went in today around 1:30 where we were kindly approached by Marcus. He was upbeat and I could tell that he wanted to help us - You just ‘know’ the difference between wanting to help and not wanting to be bothered. Marcus was helpful. He may not remember this but we told him what we needed when he asked if we needed help and he offered to walk with us to open the locked door so that we would not have to wait in line. It was simple but it was ultimately his personality that shined through. I appreciated his upbeat charisma and willingness. We had a great experience.

There was nothing wrong with this visit! We were able to easily find what we were looking for, alert an assistant in the area that the product was what we wanted, and get it! Placed an order for curbside pick up at 3pm Sunday. Said it would be ready in approximately 1 hour. Was disappointed it was not ready until the next day since the store was far from me and I drove out there. But understandable with all the after Christmas shopping they have to handle. Once my order was ready, curbside pick up was very easy and took less than 10 minutes.

Went to the Geek Squad section, and usually have no problems with them but did meet an unfortunate someone that wasn’t very polite. Nor gave me time to explain thoroughly what service I was requesting so he did it wrong the first time and a whole thing, I had to wait for them to refund me and do it differently. Camera guys are very knowledgable and provided great service. I didnt know that they provide free classes on DSLR cameras on particular evenings. I have purchased phones, TV and other items from this store as well. Overall no complaints! Weekends and festival time the store gets really crowded so plan accordingly.

I stopped going to Best Buy years ago, when I stopped buying DVDs and CDs. I have gone to them during the pandemic because they have a surprisingly good inventory on a wide variety of goods, and their curbside pickup is quick and easy. They also run some better deals than expected. They have become a suprising go to over the last 6 months!

Very poor delivery service. Three days in a row I received a notice saying my package would arrive that night. The last notice was three days. Best Buy has told me its not their problem. Not getting much help from delivery co. Bottom line i dont have my package that was promised for 5 days agoFollow up. Best Buy resolved my issue. Picked up a tablet at the store. Arranged to return the missing tablet is it shows up.
