My go-to place for tires and an alignment in Alexandria/Pineville area. Great Staff, Quick Service. If they dont have a tire you need, they can find it and get it in quickly. And the most important thing about any service in the automotive industry, TRUST. I truly trust this place with all my tire and alignment needs. If I need a patch in the tire, they will tell me. They wont try to sell me a whole new tire like some other places. And 9/10 if find a tire somewhere else for cheaper, they can find a better tire within the same price range. Great tire buying experience!!

First off I’m here out of town for work I’m very perticular on who I let work on my car mechanically I prefer to do it myself but when it came to the situation at the time I choose to drop my car off here after talking on the phone had a great knowledge of the problem and was ready to get it fixed for me it’s was pretty fast for the job and price was fairly cheap but they did a excellent job I will go back without a doubt!

The service is grade A, when you walk in the door you are greeted by two angels with open arms and an abundance of hospitality! I highly recommend this shop, Im a hard person to please and they done it so easily!! Thanks again My Tire Place👌🏽

Bought tires on 9/22, tires are wore down to slicks. Would not replace, tried to sell me new tires. Took car to another shop, after checking # on door, wrong size tires on my car. Obviously, they don’t know what they are doing. Gave you a chance to correct your mistake, you should have listened. Good thing the BBB listens.

I usually do business with D&J, and I went in today thinking I needed a new pair of tires. They went out to check my tires and told me they were good and didnt need to be replaced (saving me about $300 for now) when they could have just sold me the tires and made a sale. The next set of tires I buy WILL be from D&J.

I was so pleased with the service here I applied for a job while I waited for my tires to be put on.

I bought 4 new tires for my F350 truck which was the biggest mistake of my life! When buying the tires, the owner seemed very nice and was all about customer service. He told me that Falken made tires for Goodyear and sports car tires but just a couple years ago they started making truck/SUV tires. It turns out that they have been in the truck tire business for more than 7 years, lie number 1.The first problem was when they installed my tires they used a tire machine from Bunkie because theirs was broken. It put 4 sets of 2 holes each in my Alcoa aluminum rims which looks horrible. Junk equipment in the shop! Then at high speed my trucks shook so bad that I had to remove everything from the door pockets that could rattle. That says they really dont care about getting your tires balance properly.When I left D&J Tire my truck rear felt like it was going to pass me. When going around the south traffic circle I almost wrecked my truck. I pulled over and called D&J tire back to explain the situation. He told me they put 85 psi of air in them and to lower the pressure to 55. I did which helped tremendously but in a curve would still get loose and want to come around.After running off the road 4 times in 3 weeks I decided that was enough so I would go back to get the tires changed. When I talked to the sales manager at the Masonic location he told me without even looking at it that the only way he would put more tires on is if I paid for them. I asked him to call the owner in Ohio but he said they cant reach him and he wouldnt answer, lie number 2. First it was the front tires that needed replacing that has 10,000 miles on them. Then he tried to say my front end was messed up but I had changed the ball joints with alignment that week trying to make my truck drive better as a result of some second rate tires. Then it was alignment and then he said a rear tire can never cause a truck to sway on the road. Tell NASCR folks that and they would laugh you out of the place. After 15 minutes of BS with the young hit headed,smart ass sales manager that barely knew the front of the truck from the rear, a very knowledgable mechanic came over to help. We went for a test drive but he was a little scared to take curves at high speed. Finally we got up to 55 it finally did the rear end sway for him. He said it was shocks which I an changing this week before a return to the store and do another test drive.Bottom line is my truck drove like a dream before I got new tires from D&J tire and now its a death trap. The only thing that change was 4 Falken tires!I plan on returning this week for another test drive. I would not recommend going to D&J Tire in Alexandria or Bunkie for even a bicycle or wheel barrel tire repair. I will update after my follow-up this week.D&J Tire in Tioga is NOT OWNED by the new ownership so this review does not apply to them.
