5 stars is simply not enough to describe the quality of service I received with K&G auto repair! It was excellent from start to finish. I spoke with Sasha over the phone about cost estimates for new breaks. She was incredibly pleasant to speak to and assured me top notch quality service and she didn’t disappoint! I originally brought my vehicle in for the front breaks, but after inspection Sasha called me and informed me that my back break pads were wearing down as well and recommended that I get those taken care of also. I always appreciate thoroughness as we don’t get enough of that in the world of customer service. My car was ready in no time! And the cost was much cheaper than I anticipated 😁 Kostas, Sasha and the rest of the team are a wonderful bunch and truly make this establishment what it is. I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone with car issues in the Alexandria area and beyond. You won’t be sorry!

I can not say enough about the establishment. I was having trouble with a check engine light that randomly came on. I googled repair shops in my area and K & G Auto Repair and Detailing showed up.I contacted this shop inquiring about the problem and if they would would be able to help me with this issue. I was greeted on the phone by Sasha who was able to relay their availability and said they would be able to fit me in the next day.Once I arrived at the shop I was greeted by Kostas (Owner) who said they would do a diagnostic on the vehicle and tell me the issue. Honor where honor is due, and the team at K&G deserves only the highest! Ive used these guys several times, and they have been consistently outstanding. Ive brought in a 2014 Genesis sedan (before I sold it), my 2014 Equus, and my wifes 2012 Audi TT.Although the Audi sleeps inside the garage, it is parked during the day in an area that gets a lot of sun exposure, leaves, tree sap, and bird droppings. While I tried my best using clay bars, and all kinds of waxes, the paint was quickly deteriorating, and the car got a couple of dents that I was unable to repair.So last week I called Kostas, and he asked me to bring the car on Monday (yesterday). When they took a look at what had to be done, they asked if they could keep it for two days so they could get it perfect. I told them to keep it for a week if necessary!Well, when I went to pick it up today, the car looked magnificent, seriously, inside and out, no dents (thanks to their partners at Dentless repair), and the quality of the detailing was outstanding!Thank you Kostas and team for the phenomenal work, my wife LOVED the car when she saw it, and if shes happy...! :)

After some thorough research for automotive shops near my work I decided on K&G Auto Repair & Detailing. It was close to work and my car needed attention ASAP. With a low tire pressure light on and some light steering wheel jerk, I knew it was time that I needed service. I was greeted on the phone by Sasha who was pleasant and polite, and able to get me scheduled in for the next day hassle free. I dropped off my car, they gave me a ride back to work, and I was able to pick up at the end of the day...alllll for a VERY reasonable price. After reading several reviews, I chose K&G auto Detailing. My Black Camaro had many small scratches, as well random patches of stains in the paint. I wasnt sure that some of the marks could be removed. To start, when I made the appointment, it was very quickly confirmed and a reminder was sent. When I dropped the car off, Kostas, the owner, went over the car and made some recommendations. The office is clean, the associates are polite, and they are all knowledgable and professional. When I came to pick up my car, I was honestly shocked! Literally looked like a brand new car. The most important part of this interaction was the incredible work ethic and desire of the owner to live up to his great reputation. They used a more expensive procedure to remore the scratches because they didnt want to give me the car back without being perfect. I wasnt charged for their extra efforts. Now in this day and age, how many businesses would do that? My car looked brand new inside and out. The price was very low compared to other detailers. I will definitely bring my car back for detailing, and service, and I highly recommend K & G Auto Repair and Detailing.

Kostas and his team did a full detail on our beloved Prius! Like many fellow Alexandrialites weve suffered through bad flooding (thanks junk Mayor!!!) and required big work including removing the full interior and carpet. Fair price and GREAT work from K & G!!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would, I needed a repair on my engine and paid over $1,000. Less than a year later I’m paying another place to fix the same problem. My new place informed me that the issue was patched and loaded with grease, not replaced. This is absolutely unacceptable, I would recommend finding another shop to work on your car.

I went to K&G for detailing and was greeted by such friendly and KNOWLEDGEABLE staff. There was a woman at the desk, Sasha, who was so friendly and sweet it felt like I’ve been going there for years. Very inexpensive and very professional.I brought my Crown Vic in here to repair it after two other shops failed to give me a reasonable price, they did for 1800 what other shops were trying to do for 3500. And they did it well, my new transmission works great.

Every since my BMW warranty ran out, I started taking my car to K&G auto. I have received better service than any dealership ever gave me. But most importantly, K&G auto has given me the peace of mind knowing that my car is in excellent hands and with competent and honest people. I usually wash and wax my own car because I am very meticulous about how my car looks but I couldnt get around to it before Winter 2014 came around. So I searched out places who could do this for me. I took a chance with K&G and did the overnight drop with them so they could get my car washed, waxed and vacuumed the next day - its nice they are open on Saturdays! They did a really great job. They vacuumed all the dirt out of the tiny nooks and crannies that you can never seem to get out with a regular vacuum cleaner! The wash and wax job turned out very nice as well. Im very pleased and will consider going back to them again.

I was in D.C. for a business trip and was in need of an urgent brake job. Googled some repair shops around the region and made some calls. My car had to repaired within 4 days, when I was leaving D.C.I talked to the owner and told him what I think it needed, asked me to bring it as soon as I could. First thing that impressed me was the that the garage was clean and organized - a complete rarity in non-dealership shops. Left the car called me by end of day and provided a list of items that were in need of repair. I was kinda aware what it needed so I was very pleasantly surprised that he didnt try to oversell me services. I asked him to proceed. He told he needed a couple of days, while I expressing to him the urgency to have it completed by the date. To my surprise that was done by end of next day.When i picked up the car, he went over the work and he also told me he checked out some other parts of the car and told me I should be in good standing for a while.Overall a very positive experience - especially for someone from out of town and not a repeat customer - shop was clean and organized, courteous, friendly staff, and I have to say honest.I only wish I could find a shop like this were I live! Id be a customer for life.

We experienced car troubles from out of town. Initially we took our car to a dealership in town. After they quoted us $2500 we sought out a second opinion. Thank God we found this place! They took us in immediately and got is looked at and fixed for $850. We drove it all the way back home with no issue. The service was quick and the people were so kind.

Now that I have saved over 500 dollars as a K&G customer, I can confidently confirm the high ratings are an accurate reflection of the service you can expect to receive here. I love this place! They helped us choose which of our two cars to sell or keep. Then on our keeper car they flushed all fluids, did complete brake job, replaced leaking valve cover gasket, repaired front end and detailed car from bumper to bumper for a very good price. I’ve been taking my Audi to Kostas at K&G for the last 18 months. I initially brought him the car to repair something that another mechanic had repaired twice and it had broken again. Needless to say he fixed the problem, explained why it happened again and remediated it. In all my transactions I’ve found them to be honest, transparent, communicative and timely. My car was in horrible shape when I dropped it off to K&G. I have a 170lb Great Dane and his dog stench and dirt covered the inside. Not to mention the fur...EVERYWHERE. They took it in for a full interior/exterior detail and the result was incredible. I dont know what kind of magic they used but they made a disgusting car look and smell brand new! Thank you K&G!!

I have owned a Honda Del Sol, Dodge Stratus, Ford Fiesta, Volkswagen Golf and a Honda Accord. Each car has seen Kostas exclusively. Aziz, his front office manager, is extremely helpful and always keeps me informed of what is going on. With the Del Sol, I was worried that some serious engine work needed to be done. Turned out that a engine mount needed to be tightened. 100 dollars later, I was out the door. Yes, anyone else would have given me a song and dance but Kostas and Aziz were honest. Take your car to them or dont. Just means that they can work on my car more often ;)

I was referred to Kostas 15 years ago, at a time he was working in a different auto repair shop. I needed to have some serious repair work done on my 94 Accura Integra back then, and I had done my research with the dealer and other repair shops in the DC area before I went to the shop Kostas was working. Immediately I was impressed by the personalized and expert advice I received from him, so I decided to have him do the work. He took personal care, delivered on time, and in the process he saved me a few hundred dollars. Since then, I have been going to him for everything. I also began to get to know him and learned about his work experiences. He started working on cars in Greece at a very young age. Then he moved to Germany where he received formal training and work experience. Finally he moved to the DC area and started his family.His personal drive for exceptional customer service led him to open his own business, K&G Autorepair in Alexandria, near Rt. 1. (Actually, I left for Europe for 3 years, and when I came back I looked for Kostas in his previous work place, and found out that he had opened his own business, so naturally I found him, and my wife and I started to take our cars there.) Kostas, the owner, and Aziz, the manager, are always there to welcome you to the reception area, which looks like that of a hotel! The shop area is so clean and organized, its ridiculous! I have never seen anything like this anywhere else. Kostas and Aziz are passionate about order, cleaningless, and customer case and satisfaction.
