Had my car inspected here. They were prompt to attend to it, courteous, and the waiting room was comfortable and charming. There are quite a few surly shops around here, so it’s nice to come to a place with pleasant people.

I found this place from a Google search for a nearby repair shops, they had high ratings. I needed my brake fluid flushed. They have the best customer service, everyone that I spoke with was very pleasant, they explained everything that I needed also they were very accommodating for my needs. I’m glad I found a new auto repair shop; I will definitely be using them moving forward.

Community Car Care always puts my mind at ease - they are hands down the most courteous, customer service-oriented, friendly ppl Ive ever taken a car to - and, even more importantly to me, they have never pressured me to get any work done and always seemed more than fair with pricing. Its really nice to be able to recommend a business w/o reservations as I do with them.

Our family has used this shop a number of times in recent history. The turn around time has always been quick. Today there was an issue with seating a new truck tire. The tire it was replacing was successfully transferred to the spare rim. The machine they would normally use was broken and he recommended going to Pep Boys. They were able to get the tire to seat on the second try. The best part was neither Community Car Care nor Pep Boys charged us. We would have continued to use them in the future due to the service we have received in the past. This made us have an even greater respect and appreciation for their customer service. Can not recommend them more.

PJ provided great professional customer service. He was on top of everything as soon I stepped into shop, pulled my appointment up and asked me to sit down offering wifi, water, and coffee. My car quit on me one Saturday. They allowed me to tow it in, even after closing time. I got the diagnostic results quickly (on Monday). Even though my beloved Honda died with over 340,000 miles on it, they didn’t treat it like it wasn’t worth a full review and conversation. They gave me a quote for a new engine (I really wanted to keep it!) and recommended a couple of options. I appreciated their honesty and they could’ve taken the money from me and replaced the engine, but they selflessly recommended I put the money into a new car. After my car sat in their car for a month (while looking for a new car), they didn’t charge a fee for it and even waived the diagnostic fee due to a small miscommunication. I didn’t get much “done” here but based on their customer service alone, I would return and recommend to others!

Great little place! Quality work, fast service, comfortable waiting area, and they wont rob you blind like the dealerships. I love being able to go in for an oil change and not have to deal with someone pressuring me to purchase unnecessary and costly add-ons. If theres something that absolutely needs to be done to your car at that moment, theyll let you know and pull a quote for you on the spot. If its something that can wait, theyll still pull a quote so that youre prepared for the work that needs to be done on the next visit. But I do recommend calling to schedule an appointment ahead of time. They can get quite busy, but I guess that speaks to the loyalty of their customer base.

Rip-off alert!!! My wife brought her 2007 Scion TC here for replacing rear brake pads and rotors. They charged her $680 for parts and labor. Meanwhile, all other mechanics in the area charge around $300-400 for this type of job. I recommend you do your research before bringing your car here.

I came in for an oil change/courtesy check up. All of the staff were very profesional and kind! I wasnt pressured into buying anything other than what I came for. The waiting room had a restroom, water, coffee, and a tv.

The manager, PJ was very professional and friendly from the start of my initial conversation with him about the service I was inquiring about. This was my first time using them. Also provided detailed info in what was involved in them performing the service I wanted. Gave me an estimate of the low to high cost of the work to be done. Contacted me about other things they noticed in performing my requested service, which I appreciated. They also stayed in the price range I was quoted.The shop was very clean, and an organized set-up.

While staying with my girlfriend in Alexandria, I noticed a flat tire on my 2020 Dodge Challenger. I am actually a Service Department Director for a car dealership in Maryland. Knowing it was not a food idea to try and make it back for repairs I contacted this facility on the recommendation of my girlfriend. They took me in without really having an appointment, repaired my tire and got me back on the road in a very reasonable amount of time. Joe the advisor who checked me in was very knowledgeable, they charged a fair price for the tire repair and they were very particular in how they treated my vehicle and made sure to protect the rim when removing the tire. I would highly recommend this facility for work on any vehicle. Thank you again Joe for getting me back on the road.

These guys are very very friendly, but that’s how they get you. I took my car to four different places in order to get quotes. However for the work that I needed it would take a couple of days because most of the auto care/dealerships were to capacity. This place was the only place that could do it the same day. So originally the price they gave me was fair. However, when it came time to pay they added additional labor time and charge me an extremely high price that was doubled all of the other auto care companies. This place is a total rip off in my opinion and hopefully somebody will expose them in greater detail. I will be filing a complaint with other agencies just to make note and document their practices.

I had a Groupon deal for an oil change and called to make an appointment. When I called, the person at the other end was very pleasant and got me in at a convenient time.When I arrived, the customer area was very clean and the person at the counter, who may have answered the phone was very pleasant and professional. They had me in and out in a very reasonable amount time.When they were finished I asked what I owed him and he said Nothing, you had a Groupon. Ive had a Groupon before, for an oil change at another place and there were rag disposal fees and other additional fees.When I got home the print out showed that they had also checked fluids, belts, hoses. Everything from lights, battery, filters. 12 items in total. So long story long, I was very impressed indeed. The person at the front desk was super polite and talks casually. That’s the kind of encounter that’s shows the kind of service they provide. They took my Groupon for an inspection and emissions check without any issues. They were quick so what more could I ask for.

I have always had a great experience with Community Car Care. As a person on a fixed income, the price and quality are worthwhile. There is never a long wait. If so the companys transport service is quite beneficial if I have another appointment. I am so glad I have a dependable service close by.

I have stopped here a number of times and was very pleased, at first. However, the quality of the service seems to be deteriorating. When you go to book an appt on-line, it asks you to enter your 2 most-preferred dates and times. So, I did that. You get a nice confirmation email that someone will contact you to confirm. Heres the thing, they dont. This isnt just a fluke either because it happened the last time I wanted to go here. I love the idea of the on-line calendar...hey, if you all are busy, no problem. Lets find a time that works for you and for me. But instead, nope, they just dont respond. Now I have to find a new garage...because whos going to take their car to a garage they gave a bad review to?!

Community Car Care is the auto shop for my car Oil change and maintenance. But, I asked for spark plugs replacement for Toyota and its cost me $222.57 without taxes. After replacement is done, they told me if I bring my own spark plug, its gonna cost less because they charge as dealership price. This is not the way you care your community or customer. At least they should give notice or explain well to customers before decide.

Community Car Care is my go to place for service. They are always honest and reliable. I trust them to consistently give a correct diagnosis and a speedy repair. I like that they to not try to sell me on services my car does not need! Great prices and great service!

I just did my oil change and this shop did a great job. The waiting area is clean and have 6ft distances for chairs. For the price I paid it is really really worth it, since I am new to this area I probably coming back. Thanks Car Care for a great job☺️

This was my second time to have my car inspected for state emission and gladly it passed. Last January I was advise to put more miles on my car when they checked it for emission test. That time I wasn’t charge for the service they’ve done and it was highly appreciated.

I came in today for a nail in the center of my tire. Knowing we are in a pandemic and a lot of car repair shops are doing by appointment only, I was super appreciative of both Joe and PJ for allowing me to come in today to get patch work completed. Not only were they fast, professional and reliable, but PJ gave outstanding customer service! I regularly have used Community Car Care in the past year and have had. I complaints. I highly recommend!

I scheduled an appointment for 3 pm. When I get there they said it booked foe someone else. The guy called him manager he did not offer me a condolence neither any alternative. He said I can not threat him with a review.

I got my inspection and emissions and the service was quick. The gentleman at the counter was very personable and knowledgeable. He even chatted with me and made my wait time go by very quickly. I will definitely return.

Although I only went to CCC to get a safety inspection, you better believe Ill be back. Joe at the front desk was very helpful and quick to sign me in. The waiting area was very clean and comfortable and looked like it had coffee and water available. I waited about 20 minutes which was wonderful for just walking in on a Saturday morning. I felt as though the mechanic was trustworthy and honest, which is so key to a good repair shop. I will be back whenever I have an issue with my car!

Went in with my 06 Honda for safety inspection and emissions testing; they replaced a few lights that were out for a great price and had me on my way in less than 1 hour. Highly recommend this shop. New to the area, I found Community Car Care on groupon.I had the oil changed and my car looked at for a trip to Tennessee. It is an old car and needs TLC (97 Honda).It was for sure the right move! This business is outstanding. They are friendly, professional, trustworthy, no long wait, and the work was thorough. I also got a detailed written break down of work that would be needed in the future with estimates - and with no heavy sales-pitch. Great experience!

I’ve been going to this place for almost 7 years. The customer service is top notch. The prices are competitive. They perform quality work. If something isn’t right after you visit, they make it right. You can’t ask for more from a business.It’s hard to find a place to trust with your vehicle, and I’m glad I found it.

PJ was great. We brought in 2 cars at the same time for the state safety inspection. One car was done in less than 20 minutes, without an appointment. The other car had a 9 am appointment on a Saturday for the standard scheduled maintenance: tire rotation, oil change, filter check. They gave me an estimate when I called: $57 oil change; $24 tire rotation; $20 state inspection and 1.5 hours. Nothing was up charged and I was out of there in less time than anticipated. While they were busy, there weren’t a lot of customers around. We waited outside in the shade on a bench just outside their lobby. They even recommended a synthetic oil that would go longer in terms of use:mileage and didn’t push the option on me despite it only being a few dollars more. (I took their advice).Pro tip: if you check in on yelp you get the tire rotation free with any other service.

Convenient visible location, plenty of parking, clean spacious waiting area with indoor and outdoor seatings, the latter good for social distancing. Just grab a Keurig cup and catch some rays on the outside benches while waiting for services. Speaking of which, customer care was thorough and generally good. Theyre often busy so its best to call or make an appointment ahead of time. A no drama place for regular auto maintenance and overall pleasant visit!

I’ve used CCC multiple times for basic things like tires, inspections, oil changes, batteries, etc. They’re honest, courteous, and they don’t try to sell you things you don’t need. They have a nice waiting area, and in non- pandemic times they’ll give you a lift to the Metro or home if it’s not too far.

The guys were great! I brought my truck in with a persistent engine light, they tracked down the source and fixed it right! I had tried dealerships to get that fixed with failing results multiple times.Their mechanics are the bomb, and they simply fixed my long standing issue and Im good to go.

We have been taking both of our cars to PJ at CCC for years for both routine maintenance and specific repair jobs. We have always had an excellent experience, including after one of our local car dealers did some dishonest and underhanded repairs on an engine. I would trust CCC with just about any car issue, and plan to continue using them as our primary mechanic going forward. They are honest and straightforward, give solid advice/recommendations, and dont push work if it can wait.

I have been bringing both of my vehicles here for 5+ years after a referral from a friend. Staff is always super friendly and honest. PJ is a true asset to the business. They could be a little pricey for certain services, but I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for. Will continue to bring my vehicles here as long as I live in NoVA.

Decided to try this local place for an oil change and very happy with the result. In and out in just over an hour of my appointment starting. Making an appointment is especially important, or calling ahead. They have a strict policy of first-come-first-serve with some services to ensure fair treatment for all customers. There was always someone at the front desk near the phone so it is easy to reach someone, unlike many other places.Middle-ground prices compared to other places in the market but you receive superior quality service in return. At certain times of the year they have good promotions (especially in January) that make it even more worth the visit.Most importantly, even though I am female and am not well-versed in auto mechanics, I did not feel at all pressured to purchase any of their additional fix-it’s they found during the oil change. They just shared the information on my car’s status and even told me they’re not urgent fixes. And the results were all in the invoice I got at the end. I‘ll be back!

I dropped in for a safety inspection without an appointment at 11:15 Friday. The counter man told me the inspector was busy but could do the inspection after his lunch, at 12:30. Came back at 12:30, was taken care of immediately. Waiting room only has three chairs, for social distancing. Employees wore masks. Very good service. Will return.
