I have recently had a 75 in repaired at this establishment and had an awful experience. we had to send it back after they left a peace of tape on the inside of the screen. After we got it back for the second time we had the same problem but on the other side of the screen, there was a peace of tape on holding together the frame of the TV, there where several screws missing from the back of the TV and they made the back light bleeding on the screen 100 times worse. There customer service was awful to. I was told that I was being picky and that I would never be able to get a repair from them again ( Not that I would want to).Over all my experience with this company has been regrettable. The staff was rude and disrespectful and the service sucked.
Home depot contracted these guys to fix my refrigerator. They kept me waiting for months with countless lies and excuses. After 5 months I have up and home depot just refunded the refrigerator. A simple google search would have enabled them to order the parts necessary. Dont use these guys unless you dont want your appliance fixed.
Had my TV for 2 months didnt keep in contact and still didnt fix it.
Fast and friendly service! Hard to find honest people nowadays! I Was told my tv couldn’t be fixed by another company! Five star fixed it fast and at a reasonable price! I highly recommend!!!!!!
These guys are crooks. Pure and simple. Do not bring your stuff here if you ever want to see it again. I brought my TV there for some work under warranty. I was guaranteed that it would be covered. They came to my house and took my very nice and very expensive TV and it has been almost a year now and they cant even find it. They swore to me twice they were bringing back my still broken TV and all the accessories with it and I still dont have it. These guys are crooks and Im about to report them to APD.
I had issues connecting my new TV to some old school equipment. The staff provided clear guidance and assistance. Great job, Thanks.
Lowe’s told me they were the only service center authorized to work on Samsung ovens in Santa Fe, NM, even though they were located in Albuquerque, NM. I called them and left a message but did not get a return call. I persisted and finally got a hold of “Randy” who told me they do service Santa Fe but only come once a week, on Wednesday. I set up an appointment, but did not get a call the day before as promised telling me the time. On Wednesday, I finally reached Randy who told me after several hours wait that they could not come because the part they ordered was defective. He promised he would get someone here on Saturday, but again never called back to confirm or return my calls. So two days wasted waiting for a serviceman who never showed up. My guess is the no-show had more to do with the drive here from their shop, which he said several time was a problem for the repairman, exaggerating the time it would take to get here. I got someone local to do the work and was very satisfied. Judging from the many bad reviews for service they get, I think I was lucky not to have them here.
These people... oh my goodness. They should not be in business. Unfortunately, I can not give them zero stars because the Post button get disabled.
Very bad service always canceling appointments, they came about 5 times and never could fix my washer, their name is a joke shuld be one star service, would not recommend to nobody.
Excellent service on Home Depot protection plan job. Asurion called them Friday, they called me back same day, I told them what part I needed (another appliance repair person had looked at the dishwasher and told me what the problem was). They must have ordered the part the same day because on Monday they had the part and came to fix our dishwasher the same day. I was thrilled, expecting it would take a week or more to be back in business with the DW.
DRYER went out called everyone to get it fixed Five Star came to the rescue did a excellent job very professional and punctual thanks 5 star
My experience with Five Star Electronics staff was remarkably pleasant, especially when dealing with Randy and Roman. I have an older model rear projection 55 Mitsubishi TV that had convergence issues and then it just didnt want to turn on. My wife and I really liked the TV and we werent ready to spend the extra cash for a new model flat screen. Fortunately for us, Five Star Electronics was able to fix it for us within a 48 hour period at an extremely affordable and reasonable price. Randy quickly picked up the TV, repaired it and delivered it to our home with a 48 hour period. I was really impressed with the quality of the repair and how they kept their word on the initial price quoted and repair/delivery time given. These people really know what they are doing and I will definitely recommend and use them again.
I made an appointment with one of their folks to bring my stereo components in for cleaning. I got to their shop at a few minutes before the appointment to see no cars in their lot, and no one answered the door or phone. I waited about 10 minutes, knocking and calling. Very unprofessional. If they had an emergency, a call to reschedule or at least an apologetic note on the door would have been okay. They came highly recommended, but I am highly disappointed.
Get a free estimate and an affordable repair for your tv. Or recycle your broken old tv for free. I’ve done all of the above.
Been in the neighborhood for some years. Long time employees and work is always complete and on time! (Botta BANGGGG!!
Horrible service.! After 2 weeks of being told from LG refrigerator customer service that they would contact me about broken ice maker and water dispenser, they never contacted me. I left countless messages and even when they did answer they said the repair person was out of the office. Then when I finally spoke to the repair person they informed me that they would order parts without even coming to check the appliance. Fast forward 2 months later I finally got a service date. I took off of work to be home for the time arranged for the service date and they were a no show! I cant understand how this company is still in business! By far the worst customer service and work ethic shown by a business I have ever encountered! If I could give them 0 stars I would. Just overall horrible experience!
Five Star was efficient, professional and very easy to work with. They gave me an estimate within an hour and had my TV repaired even quicker than I was expecting. Great service!
I used Five Star Electronics to fix our television. They did an excellent job at a very reasonable price; they picked it up and brought it back, installed it, and helped get the cable back up and running. The staff was polite and knowledgeable and I recommend them highly.
Run as far away from these guys as possible. Unless you like to give money to someone who never returns and completes the work. Good luck.
Picked up my large TV fixed it and returned it in fine shape. Cost was what they said it would be. Seems like a good company to me.
They repaired my LG plasma within a week. They returned it with a line through the screen and gave me a discount on the labor. Then, everytime I tried to access the apps the TV would make me accept the license agreement. This is something that is only supposed to happen when you 1st use the TV or need to perform a factory reset. I called two times to report the issue with no response at all. I was finally able to get it to stop by accepting the agreement through the settings. I find this to be in bad taste and bad business practice. I wouldve happily left them a great review of they wouldve given me the courtesy of a call back.
Excellent business to work with! Been using their services on all my tvs for years. Roman and Randy are friendly and helpful over the phone.
Had a 55 LED TV here for well over a week with sound but no picture. Each time I phoned, I was told that it was being looked at on the bench. Ultimately I was informed it was not repairable. Took it for a 2nd opinion as the TV was only a couple years old, large purchase for myself and google/friends that had same issue advised it should be an easy fix...about $100. Second place asked if I dropped the TV or had gotten it wet and why I opened the frame of the TV. IF this wouldnt have happened, the TV would have been fixable. TV went straight from TV stand to car to Five Star Electronics without being opened or looked at. Unfortunately I have no way to prove this happened at their shop but definitely feel cheated and will not be back. I advise to do the same and avoid.
Took my TV in to be fixed after free estimate received it back in the same condition took it back in for the same repair 4 different times and now he is saying it is something else wrong with it and not what he fixed, now whats more money to fix the same issue. Avoid Five Star Electronics!!! FREE ESTIMATES COST YOU LOTS MORE MONEY IN THE LONG RUN. Also he was very rude.
Our DVD player went here to be repaired. A month later, when we dropped by to see if it was finished yet, it was clear they had not even looked at it since we dropped it off. They promised to call in a week. Two weeks later, and with no call, we dropped by again (we live in the neighborhood). They said they had ordered the part but it was the wrong part, so they were re-ordering and it would be another week. At the same time, however, they were confused, talking with each other, and it seemed that they had not actually done any repairs or looked at the piece in the six weeks it had been there. After two more weeks, and no call, we came by again. Nothing had been done, no repairs had been attempted, and so we took our DVD player away from them and refused to pay the $40 diagnosis fee they had originally charged to tell us what was wrong with the player (since they themselves had excused their non-repairs by virtue of a misdiagnosis). In the two months they had the piece, we were not contacted once by them, and our player was never fixed. How they stay in business is a mystery to us.
I ve been taking my T.Vs ther for years... Ive never had a problems. In fact I going to call them today for a repair....
I have old VCRs and DVDs that 5 Star keeps working at a very reasonable price. When some electronics finally dies, they gladly accept it for recycling.
I went in and said Ive got a broken TV. A guy said pit it out front. I put it out front. The end.
I dropped off my projector on 7/21/2016 to have a diagnostic test run on it. They told me it would be done by the end of the week and I would get a call back. It took them two weeks to give me a call back and I felt like I had to track them down and do their job. Every single time I called to check up on it, no one knew what the status of my projector was and no one would call me back. Then they tried to tell me that they would have to charge me $50 for the diagnostic test, although their website says that they will perform it without charge. About one month later I got a call saying it was finished and all work had been completed; I then called back the next day to see if it was available to be picked up and I was told that no work was done on it and it hadnt been serviced. Honestly, the level of unprofessionalism is astounding. After about 2 months of playing this cat and mouse game I decided to take my business elsewhere, and sure enough my projector hadnt been worked on. I would not recommend Five Star Electronics at all unless you enjoy poor customer service and no quality control.
They gave me a free estimate and it was very reasonable for repair. They did a good job on my LCD. Ill use them everytime I have TV troubles.
Horrible Experience! They lacked ownership and accountability. Every time they made a promise to follow up, they broke the promise. They were not in good standing with LG so they were unable to order the parts we needed. Please avoid at all costs!
Will never use this company ever again they dont finish work when they say they are never return your phone calls when they will . This place will leave you frustrated for the simple fact they dont exercise simple common Customer service, a company should call you back and do what they say and if a deadline is not meet a customer shouldnt have to call four different times just to be told will get back to you and never do . This company dont deserve one star as far as Im concerned .
They never returned phone calls. They kept my tv 6 months it broke in 1 month. broke again 4 months after and they never returned my call inquiring about my options
It was cold and dough like gummy soggy sponge.rotting mushrooms
Bad services ! I bought a range from sears 4 months ago, now controls not working . Then sears contacted with this store but 3 times appointment Never show up
