If I could give them 0 starts I would. I was buying a manufactured home. Found one I liked, in the price range I liked. I was paying cash. I went in to finalize the purchase a couple of weeks later and they said that the price had gone up. Fair enough. It could happen. I then picked another one that was still in my price range. Signed everything and came back the next day with the deposit. Oh hey, the price went up AGAIN!!! I ended up with a cashiers check later that day at the day before price. Bait and Switch. In addition it took 2 months to get the exterior paint (joining points) painted. I had to threaten to go after their bond when they said they were too busy. Lo and Behold!! It was done the next day.

Staff were really helpful and answered all of our questions. Lots of variety and the homes were beautiful.

The guy named leeland was a total tool. He started to help us then in the middle of the questions got up and went to another couple that had come in the place. Left us hanging after 10 minutes we left. We might not have all our ducks in a row yet but we still deserve respect.

Leeland is a great person, veru knowledgeable, kind gentle and took us right away of what we ask for it. Is good to count with this kind of people as seals person. Hope to see you soon.

Covid has made putting our home together a nightmare for J & M. Communication could be better. Down the final stretch Sadie did a great job of communicating a timeline to finish. More organization on setup and finish crews could be better planned and coordinated, but overall they did a good job. Loved the salesman Leeland. He returned calls and is very good. Have great repertoire with him. He answered all our questions and helped us modify a home to meet our needs.

We have had an excellent experience dealing with J & M Homes In Albany. We shopped the market very hard for three months and made multiple visits to several lots from Albany to Redmond, but ultimately we found Dan McDonalds caring patient nature and lack of pushy salesmanship to earn our trust. Dan listened and understood our needs, he was straight forward and clear about the entire process so we knew what to expect. Really tho, The entire Albany team worked hard to accommodate our needs. They made a very difficult decision painless. I actually felt good about handing over my entire savings account, lol. When the process was done and our new home was placed, J & M went above and beyond to take care of everything and make sure we were happy with our new home.Virginia McDonald was excellent about staying in contact and walking us thru every step so we could feel confident in the whole process. I am really happy that we were able to work with these guys. This is definitely where I will send my friends and family!

If I could leave a half of a star I would! Very disappointed in the service and all around experience!! Dan Shafer was the salesman and would not return 1 phone call!! I called multiple times, sent multiple Emails and stll he would not get back to me. The only time i got a hold of him is when he was the one that answered the phone. Then he told me finally after multiple attempts of getting a hold of him, that my husband and I only qualified for a small amount that our debt to income was to high and he couldnt tell me more and that if something comes up hed call me. Ya right! We just talked to our credit union and got approved for a very comfortable loan. Although we love the homes at J & M we wont be buying from the Albany lot!! WHAT TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Do they even want to sell a home is my question?? Ive never been treated so horribly. The fact that No one bothered to try to help us figure something else out and actually walk us through it. Where do they find these salesman??

I came to this j&m homes because the one in woodland Washington pranked me pretty good. I told them I wanted a display model so I picked one out and signed a bunch of paper. A week later they told me they sold it to someone else. Then they said come in for more paperwork to make a new one. The whole reason I wanted a display model was because I wanted it immediately. So I went in and signed to have a new one made and immediately regretted it because then he tells me it’ll take 6 months to make a new one. Now I have to live in an overpriced apartment for six more months on a month to month payment because I can’t sign a lease because in hopes that the house will be done early. 6 months later they put the house on the land and charge me 10 grand more than what the price originally was. Of course there was a bunch of hidden fees that they don’t mention when you’re signing the paperwork. Now that I’m living here is when the real nightmare starts. Once I moved in, I notice that the cupboards are made of cardboard and they are only stapled to the wall and the cupboard doors literally fall apart. Also I have to tiptoe around so the floors don’t dent in or collapse. I can’t close the bedroom doors too hard or they will fall off the hinges. The exterior door hinges are screwed in with quarter inch long screws. This entire house is made of compressed cardboard and thin substandard materials. And when I toured the factory I noticed most of the employees are meth addicts and felons. Completely worthless. Also this house is aging in dog years. Everything is just starting to sag and fall apart. Sub Floor will need replaced soon. For the love of god don’t buy a manufactured home. Anything else

They did AMAZING and the house turned out GORGEOUS! very professional and prompt, things were done as requested and came out perfectly!

We loved working with Leeland he was very nice and pleasant to work with and went through all aspects of the process with care.He took the time to explain the process to us during each visit and gave us regular updates and photos during the time the home was in construction at the manufacturer.

Our family had a wonderful experience working with J&M mostly due to their staff their sales rep that we worked with Leland stodder at the Albany branch was great I recommend him to anybody looking to buy a manufactured home he explained everything to us had lots of patience and still calls and checks in on us from time to time

We purchased our home from Kathy at J and M in Albany. She was very professional and kept us updated on the status of our home. I would recommend buying a home from Kathy at the Albany location.

Kathy is very unprofessional and a flat out liar. She lied regarding the listing price and how long the home had been vacate. She said a few months yet county record shows the owners were sent an abandonment notice in January of 2017. When I asked to submit an offer she said she didnt know if the owners would go that low so shed ask them.....which is exactly what an OFER does. She called back shortly after and said that the owners just want to get rid of it so they said that was fine. So I book an inspection but havent heard back the day of regardless of the email and texts I sent her inquiring on the signed purchase agreement. So I had to cancel the inspection 5 minutes before it was scheduled to begin. About a week later I asked for an update and to no surprise she hadnt heard anything, yet stated she thought the owners wanted more for it. How did she not hear anything but knew the owners wanted more?? After 2 weeks of not hearing back I text her and told her that I would be withdrawing my offer by 5pm the next day if they didnt respond. To which she responded there is a full price offer on the house. She clearly doesnt know how to communicate well or do her job. I have never had such an awful experience trying to purchase anything! She is simply out to make a quick buck and could care less about anything else. I highly advise avoiding her at all cost and hope the company decides to replace her with someone who is competent and honest.

I purchased a Marlette and am totally happy and satisfied with the home and the contractor{goodsand} I was treated exceptionally well. I TOTALLY recommend them to anyone I know. The sales department there were professional and made sure you knew exactly what you were getting and wanted. I really liked the no pressure to buy attitudeJoe Taylor
