This is the home that was to be my forever home. I’ve never had such low quality work done ever. The dishwashers was installed crooked, the shelves in the refrigerator fall off, we were missing pendant lights and bedroom ceiling fan, they forgot my columns the flooring lifts up and the quality is super cheap. When homeboys of Spokane told me all my issues on the check list were manufacturer issues I wrote a letter to Clayton homes there were wall’s that weren’t painted, all the outlets stick out or have a hole above them. Believe me when I ordered it to be the last home of my life I never knew. . Covid came in November and I let it go a couple months. We had had our current residence smashed in October thinking we’d be in the home probably November. We finally took possession of the home this July. Wrong to think anyone would do what they say they’re gonna do. We lived in it for almost six months the camper. Partially my fault waiting on subcontractors to do their work. I now know that this home will never make it in till my old age . Now Covid came in oct-November. I got the Old line of the factory wasn’t done due to covid. I called the manufacturer and learned it went into production that day. That’s almost 15 months from my purchase date with and my installments were in cash. I hope to hear from Clayton homes.
We stopped by to see a couple of the homes for sale. There were two that I would have in a heartbeat. The rooms were spacious and well thought out. The kitchens were configured for more people to work comfortably, a one butt kitchen is a deal breaker in our family. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable
Good buying experience. It was delivered last July and eventually most of the repairs were done. I was SO surprised though when the Springtime sun heated it up too hot -- even when the outside temps were chilly but bright! Must open windows early to prevent stifling heat buildup, but leaving home with windows open is bad. A high of 65 degrees outside will give me indoor temps in the high 70s if the sun shines! And thats with the furnace OFF! Ill probably have to install air conditioning on this oven. After a 1 year journey to get my dream house, its just too hot! So sad. I had such high hopes.
I am a land owner with cash on hand, ready to pay cash for 4 small single wides (investment property) AND an additional 250k home WITH A MORTGAGE APPROVAL. I was referred to this location after speaking to another Clayton rep previously. I called this business and Adam answered, asking me if I had land or where I was in the entire process etc. Yes, I own land in Nevada. No, I’m not looking to buy an Oregon home to be installed in Nevada. There are plenty of establishments closer with better customer service and comprehensive assistanceAdam informed me that I should go to the location in Idaho as he “Only does business for SERIOUS home buyers,” and “they are closer to NV. He was “all booked up for the day.” Talk about inept customer service, lacking comprehensive understanding and assistance abilities. I answered his question about my land but that doesn’t mean that’s my only option or need.Regardless, to deny me an apt and to be shot down and informed apts are for “serious buyers only” is absolutely asinine. How much more serious does one need to be to get proper service from this location? With an approved mortgage and cash on hand ready to order (4) single wides..... they lost a customer and an opportunity to make upwards of 220k CASH MONEY TODAY.Adam made me feel as if my money was not good enough, so I can guarantee you I will NEVER purchase a Clayton home, and will take my needs and money elsewhere. Extremely disappointed.
First off, these are not mobile homes, these are manufactured homes.Single, double and triple wide homes.Only reason they have that designation, is the width and length of the house for transport. Its like a stick-built house only, on wheels until it arrives at your location.Gone are the aluminum-sided monstrosities, with little or no insulation. These homes have amazing floor plans, decks, master suites, and some even have hidden pantries. If you are in the market for a house, check these out.You will be surprised.Cheers
My experience with Clayton Homes was better than I could have asked for. Functioning through this pandemic is hard enough so imagine how nervous I was to be buying a house during it. I told our sales rep, David, that Im at high risk and he gave me the reassurance I needed. I was very impressed with how they were handling the pandemic and safety. Appointments were made prior to see a rep so I felt safe going in knowing there wouldnt be tons of people. Everyone wore a mask, kept a safe distance. And of course their houses are BEAUTIFUL. They dont even look like manufactured homes. I usually dont write reviews but it was a great experience overall.
If they run there business like they run the self insurance business look out. We were rear ended by a Clayton home’s vehicle in May while waiting to make a turn at which they were recognized by the state trooper to be 100% at fault. That being said they are slow rolling this claim and still have not paid our insurance company for the repairs done to our vehicle and it’s been 7 months. Since this claim is still open we can not get decent quotes from other insurance companies because it’s not closed.
What a great experience! Bob was informative and knowledgeable about the homes we looked at. There was no “hard sell” and he did not push or try to “up sell” us. We know we are going to buy a manufactured home and this place is at the top of our list.
I enjoyed looking and dreaming of a future home to call home. There are so many styles and layouts, I want a little of ea. Built into to one. I would be in HEAVEN! GREAT PEOPLE TO SHOW YOU AROUND.
We are considering purchasing our first home and have gone through extensive research on what the best route. After a candid conversation with David from Clayton Homes I have decided we will go the manufactured home route. He was so patient and courteous in answering all of my questions and concerns. Thank you David for this amazing experience we look forward to working with you soon.
Was impressed with the bi-lingual and authentic customer service I received from David. He took his time to explain the process for the purchase of a home and followed up with me when I had additional questions. He is a pleasure to work with. I will be going to Clayton for the purchase of my new home due to Davids outstanding service.
Nice people. Was with my mother and father while they were looking for a nice mobile home to put at the beach. They were extremely happy about their experience there.
Great service from David was a real pleasure went in to get information on a new purchase he provided all the information without pushing me to buy that day. David has excellent expertise on the buying process and provided a wealth of knowledge and guidance. Will definitely be reaching out to David when we are ready to purchase.
Ive been working with David these past few months and I have nothing but excellent things to say. He has been amazing! Being a first time home buyer, I was definitely a little nervous with the whole process. David made me feel so comfortable and excited to start the journey. Any issue to arise was quickly solved and he made sure to keep me up to date every part of the way, keeping my mind at ease. They really took the time to give me the house of my dreams. I would highly recommend David and Clayton Homes to anyone.
I would not rate one star if I could write a review without having to. Our experience was not good. Started off they lost the initial form we filled out and we had to do it again. We walked around with Alexis which informed us during the walk that she gets paid the same whether she is showing people homes or just sitting at her desk. Classy. Then after we found a home and were sitting down with her to make changes she got right up in the middle and went to help another customer. After she came back she pushed the $500 deposit telling us we could not get a price without it. Then she finally agreed to email us a rough number but said she didnt need to keep the floor plan notes we made and that she would remember all of them. Right. We received one email from her pushing the $500 again with no rough numbers. We responded and never got a call or email back. So she was absolutely correct, she must get paid to sit there because she doesnt care to sell anything.
Use Bob Williams. He is a five star rating. Others move much slower. The homes are beautiful and energy efficient. Unless you are buying the most expensive homes a few others that work there will neglect you. Two people sat on our paperwork for a month and a half doing nothing. I hear Bob moves much faster.
Took a day off of work but found out they are only showing homes by appointment.
Love the atmosphere! I feel very welcome walking in and they make the home buying experience enjoyable!
If you dont mind paying for a product that will not be what you paid for and you will not see for an unknown extended period of time, these are your guys. The sales office in Chehalis is absolutely awful as well. They have no communication skills and can hardly give you any information about the house. I feel like I have just paid a lot of money at a used car sales lot full of impounded cars. This factory is very similar to the sales company, they do not communicate or give you a completion date which makes permitting and planning life a difficult task in its own. If you make the choice to shop here be prepared for having to babysit the whole process. They dont even give something as simple as a contract or receipt until you ask for it. We are 15 weeks past the completion date the sales in Chehalis gave us and a 5 weeks past the factories time. The only answer I get is Im not sure, Ill have to find out and call you back. Obviously I strongly suggest not going here for anything. We were recently given a date by a representative of the company. The date has passed and the representative is not answering or returning calls. I strongly encourage everyone to take your business elsewhere.
I left a bad review here a few months ago based on the bad service that I received on my visit. I was disappointed in the selection and style of homes with comparison to their price. I chose to go with a competitor. Since then I have received a 1* review on my own business in retaliation from someone named David. David has never been a customer of mine and never had any interactions with me. Sorry for the bad review, but this just made it worse with a retaliation review. Wayne Harder I would love to hear from you.
The sales lady was condescending. Homes werent as nice as Homes Direct.
Sales person was friendly and helpful. Have not purchased here but the quality of these homes seems much better than the other place we visited. I appreciate that each home can be really customized.
Loved walking through their tour of homes! Gives you great ideas on how to decorate or remodel your home! No pressure sales!
Willing to work with you to get everything you want in a home
My husband and I had a great experience with Clayton Homes especially the salesman Bob he got us into our Dream home within our budget.I felt like he genuinely cared about our best interest. We are more than happy with the quality of our home and the service Clayton provided.
Great selection. Wonderful and friendly. Made sure I had all my questions answered.
The sales person David we were doing business with was horrible at communicating and poor in keeping in touch with us. (Worst customer service). It had gotten so bad we pulled our deposit we had put on our home and decided to go with another company to buy a home from. Now it’s taking longer than expected to get our deposit back, Our experience with this sales person was beyond the worse experience ever!! Very displeased!!!!
Very nice visit of on-site homes. Office staff very knowledgeable
Staff was pushy, we wanted to just start looking without being bombarded about buying. We were thinking about buying a manufactured home, we hadn’t decided yet we went there to see if it was something we would like and they made us feel like we couldn’t look until we decided to buy one!
The best place to buy a manufactured home, ever! Best customer service, quality and price. 😀
I feel we struggled to get timely help, and I had to be the one pushing along the process. After a lengthy several month long process (including Clayton and a recommended lender) I decided to request my earnest money back which I was informed is always $1000. At the office they were unable to process $1000 at once so we paid two payments of $500. The person who helped us was very hard to get consistent communication with and some weeks later just $500 of our money arrived. When I questioned him about their 14 day refund policy he said something to the effect of oops, my mistake I didnt see both transactions. We are still 2 weeks later awaiting the rest of our earnest money...and feel they knew we paid $1000 as that is the typical amount we were told customers needed to put down for earnest money. Its been frustrating to feel like I wont get our money back unless I make a huge effort to hound the office.
Excellent house store with great options, helpful staff, and a welcoming environment.
Caring, kind staff who guide you through the process of a new home.
Mike was outstanding the quality of their home was really great and were looking at buying one
Very nice people who show you around and anwser all questions you have
Good people but prices are higher than anywhere else
Nice people, no pressure to buy, very informative, good quality product
HALF WAY THROUGH ARE WANTING TO BYE A HOME FROM THERE WE STARTED GETTING THE RUN AROUND BY ONE OF THE SALERS, NAME ????. I WILL NEVER GIVE THEM A GOOD NAME .....I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED, MAKING US THINK, WE ARE GET TO G A HOME, THEN NO......😠VERY SKETCHY. ...
Super helpful friendly staff not pushy
If I could give negative stars I would. We went into Clayton Homes and found a home that we thought we would be interested in. After the sales men talked us into adding a bunch of extras in he insisted that we put in a $500 down payment to lock in our no obligation quote. After looking at other homes we asked Clayton to refund our deposit. Initially we were told it would take 28 days to process a refund. After 28 days passed an no refund was sent we called again to ask where the refund was, this time they were insistent that we should come back up as they could sell us the same unit for less. We again asked that they first refund the money, as they already promised they would, and then we might consider coming back up.Four more weeks have passed and they still have not refunded the refundable deposit. They refuse to take our calls so we can only leave messages for them that they do not return. We are still fighting to get our deposit back from these crooks.
Friendly staff. Nice homes
Good place to shop for manufactured home.
They were knowledgeable and very helpful.
Super friendly very helpful no pressure
Loved their homes
Great homes and helpful staff
Beautiful homes, helpful knowledge staff
Decent selection, very helpful sales staff.
The sales lady I talked to was very nice and accommodating but the sales manager was rude and condescending. I wont be going g back.
Great homes for the money.
The tour was amazing
Great info & knowledge!
Nice models
Large selection of manufactured homes to see.
They focus more on quantity than quality, and theyre always pushing people to be faster and faster and their management style is to threaten the workers with losing their bonuses and jobs if they arent fast enough.
I forgot to update this. Dont buy a home here. Overpriced and the staff just doesnt care.
Love the homes
Great experience
Drove up from Florence and wanted to look at new homes. Was turned away and told we can only see them by appointment. Really? Guess selling homes isnt that important.
