Great service. Mike Lopez with whom we are working is very helpful. Returns calls promptly. Seems very concerned that we are satisfied.
Home had final walk through about 2 months ago still needed flooring pice put down in the kitchen pantry door has a hole in it and the outside lights doesn’t have power going to it had a water leak a month ago from the house not being properly inspected it was missing a seal they came out and fixed that quickly but haven’t fixed the water damage or anything else from the walk through have called and left Multiple messages nobody ever answers or calls back
1) Shilo, Hitch and Jeff (the service tech)are fabulous;Hitch worked with my husband and I for 2 1/2 yearsAnd didn’t give up on us. We would change ourMinds numerous times and he would never get upsetHe was fantastic.2) Shilo was also great in helping us sort things outWhen there were issues.3). Jeff (service tech): talk about awesome. He wouldWould explain what he was able fix and not fix.He was always up front with us. That is whatI really Appreciate about him.4). The factory: the quality control department need toStep up there game. HUD regulations leave a lot tobe desired. We learned a lot from the book we got.If at all possible due a factory tour and a final walk through before leaving factory. We never had the opportunity due to Covid! So if you want a home from Palm Harbor ask for Hitchand let him know Sue and Wayne sent you.
If your looking for company that goes over and beyond to make your dream home happen.these guys are our choice. They are amazing, friendly courteous, (even if your just looking) they are by far the best for your money, in quality and service
DISGUSTING! If you are looking, please keep going! Terrible home, WOULDNT buy another! Not even BBB rated, sure wish I had done my homework!
This tour was most helpful. Gave us a good idea of what to expect.
The homes are their lot are beautiful, but the customer service, not so much. We went here and found a home that we fell in love with, and promptly secured pre-approval and put down a deposit to lock in the price of our home with the promise we would get a floor plan and final pricing with the adjustments we wanted. Fast forward 10 weeks later, we still had not received pricing or a new floor plan and meanwhile the price of the home had climbed $16,000 and our deposit was about to expire. In that 10 weeks we received no communication from our sales rep without reaching out to her first and even then we sometimes did not receive return calls or emails. We had secured land and were ready to move forward with the process and she dodged questions about the final home pricing, and how soon a contractor could come inspect the land. We began to get the impression they were intentionally dragging out the process to try to get us to pay a higher price for the home. After all this we eventually asked for our deposit to be refunded, which was agreed to but the sales rep was very unapologetic. I would never refer anyone to Homes Direct.
Our salesman Michael is the greatest. We are very satisfied. He is detail oriented, no pressure, and wants the best for the customer. Thank you Michael for making our shopping experience stress free.
After much deliberation I have moved my review from a 5 Star to a 1 Star. Everything was great in getting the home in, but now that there is a problem no one wants to help. The house got delivered in October and we immediately covered the hose bibs outside without testing them. There is next to no water pressure coming out of these bibs. Homes Direct sent somebody out to fix the problem, but he had to pass it by management to get it okd. Thats all done and passed off, but now they cant get someone out to actually fix the problem and no one will even respond to an email or phone call. Ill fix it myself and never do business or refer business to Homes Direct again.
Homes available for touring were great. Customer service aspect was less than subpar. We arrived for our 10 am appointmet with Gail and waited for 30+ minutes. Still no sales associate, so we asked to tour the homes we had previewed previously online. Went out and saw the 4 homes we were interested in on our own. While inside the last home another sales associate with a customer entered and because of Covid restrictions we were very rudely rushed to exit. Not sure of we will be buying from this dealer, but we deffinately found the home we will be purchasing. 2 hours after our scheduled appt. no contact from the person we had scheduled with until we re-entered the office. Not a great start.
The sales portion of the process was fine. The delivery was fine, the set up has been a nightmare!!! No one responds. Our mistake was to pay in full. Since they have our money they don’t care. If we would have financed it, they wouldn’t have got money till setup was complete. Would NOT recommend this company
Me & my fiance Loved the floor model displays we will be buying one in the next 2 years or so. Loved it.
Its a great place to really check out manufactured homes theres no pressure and you can really check out the homes, your usually the only ones in each home at a time. It was very enjoyable and I had my emotional support animal with me ( it was just the 2 of us) and they were very good with her, offering water and AC. Now I havent been to any other manufactured home dealers besides this one but it was a very easy and good experience and Im planning on buying a home from them.
Going there to look at the homes I felt non pressured I did have an awesome salesperson his name is Hitch I would recommend that you ask for him when you go there I forget what his days off are but hitch is very knowledgeable and he has people that can help you get land for your manufactured home needs
This place was absolutely fantastic! The staff there were very friendly and when touring the facility it was very comfortable and laid back. You can either tour alone or have someone go with you, which I recommend. It may be a little out of the way for most but remember it can be a home you may live in for the rest of your life. So well worth the drive and very reasonable prices for everyones budget. Starting at 99k for a 3 bedroom!
Friendly staff, absolutely NO pressure to buy, BEAUTIFUL homes, and all the information one would need!
Very rude staff, dont have viewable models of some of the homes even though they are listed on their website, told me they had not had those models for over a year and tried to tell me that I was mistaken until I showed them. They also had the models on the wall in the office with location numbers on them. They show garages on some of the units that they do not offer either. There are other manufactured home builders in the area that have been incredible to us and we will do business there.
Thank you so much Hitch and Homes Direct for all you did to make our home buying experience the best ever! We spent many months looking at homes at other places and always ended up back a Homes Direct looking at The Sunset Bay Plus. The open floor plan, large kitchen, craftsmanship and no pressure on a sale is what kept us coming back. From the first day we visited, my many phone calls and plan changes Hitch and the team at Homes Direct went above and beyond to help us get our Home we LOVE! Thank you for taking all the time to go over final details and remembering us by name every time we walked the door.
Very helpful and knowledgeable team and great to work with. Homes are beautifully staged and clean.
When you buy a home, just know that whatever they tell you add 2 to 4 months to it. And you better have a big truck to haul away the trash and nails they leave around the house, I picked 35lbs of nails and bolts, and they left 3 very large trailer ends that look like they weigh 600lbs each? Well Ill just sell them for the scrap metal. Would I buy another? I think I would.
Love the look of these homes! Love being able to get out and walk through the modles at my own pace. Staff was less than interested in selling us a house when we were ready to pull the trigger on one. There is a lot of home here for the money, however.... I wanted to see how they held up after they have sat for a while. Not impressed! As a matter of fact... One of their models is very close to where we are building. When you stand back and look at how it has settled in just a few years, I cant believe people live in it the way they do. Its very clear to me these homes require loads of aftermarket maintenance. Their homeowners must stay constantly on the repair job.All in all, there is a lot built into the pricing with these. Tons of BBB open complaints. Loads of aftermarket issues, which add up to a lot of money being spent to support an inferior product. And horrible general reviews. They will wow you at their sales center. Buyer beware... Thats is as pretty as it gets. The only reason I gave them three stars is because they are nice in appearance and they are huge. But you can put lipstick on a pig all day long... But at the end of the day, its still a pig.Pretty, shiny, garbage....
We went to Homes Direct in Albany to buy a new manufactured home. What a wonderful experience! We were greeted by Gail Heimbach who showed us all the homes we were wanting to look at. We selected the Sunset Bay Plus. She guided us through all the interior and exterior options that best fit our desires and tastes. We highly recommend Homes Direct for everyone wanting a beautiful home of their own.
My Wife and I were treated pretty well by Rich, he helped us through the process and had a crew out to our place promptly after the house was delivered to make repairs. if we had any issues at all it was dealing with our contractor who put in the pad, the car port and permits and what not. this company has individual contractors who they send work to and to be honest if I had it all to do over I would take a hard look at the contractors they may offer to you. the one I had was poor at communicating and did allot of lying. it seemed him and his crew did just enough and that was good enough. we have lived in our home for almost 7 months now and have a little bit of cracking here and there and they alerted us of that up front and that we should wait a year before resealing them so as to give the house time to completely settle. but again do your due diligence if they offer a contractor from there list of contractors
What a great place great people.
Do not do business with this company. Our house has been on our property over 4 months and the inside is still not done, not even the crack repairs or the painting. We have filed a complaint with the BBB and are going to go to Arbitration. We pointed out 4 times that the house has mold in it. It was there when the house was placed on our property and Its still there. Sheetrock has moisture damage, Walls have 2-3 different colors of paint on them, you can see between the casing and the door to the bathroom when the door is shut, cracks were not repaired, paint is missing in the bathroom window, Brown and tan paint on white trim, paint on floor and doors, Outside marriage lines were painted in the rain! Not enough breakers in the electrical box, had to add more. We were told If you cant see it, its acceptable. Left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. We are willing to show our house to anyone and share pictures to help others from going through this same experience. We have given them many chances to make this right and they have not. Dave asked for a settlement bid for the inside of the house, we did that over 1.5 months ago. Now he will not even respond to questions about it. We have attempted to work this out so as not to go to arbitration, but no luck. We even waited to give a review in hope that they would do the right thing, but they have not.
Nobody had the time to talk to us. They just stayed in their office and looked through the window. Guess selling a house just wasnt worth their time on our visit. Put our contact information in the ledger but were never contacted. Will not be going back.
Very knowledgeable, open on floor plans. Give you set prices for within 100 miles!!
Can I rate this place at half a star? So yesterday I talked to an employee multiple times about a lot model I was planning on buying from Homes Direct. After finally getting most of the answers I needed I called the construction company for a quote, my loan guy with the bank, and my insurance company for a quote. Today when the guy I originally sat down with who was claiming the commission for the sale called me back he informed me that the home was sold 3 days ago and he had no idea....... so lets go back to my original visit to homes direct. The moment I walked in the door they asked me who i spoke to and immediately made us feel like we werent their customer because ... well... why do you think commission. I am sorry for attempting to do business with this company. After my interactions in person and over the phone its apparent that there is no cooperation, customer service focus, or teamwork in the sales division for this company. The homes were nice but I would recommend clayton, j and m, leisureland, or any other manufactured home company in the area. They not only wasted my time but the time of companies and businesses that answer my phone calls whenever I need them to and Ive had to apologize for wasting their time as well. Thank you for calling to let me know you sold the house Jason knew I was trying to purchase.
Went their to look at a home . Were not the best dressed and sum staff never asked us if we needed help I wanted to ask questions but . Were head in their again when better dressed. We could have ordered 10 home you never know if some one is Rich or not . Treat people like people. Just saying
Sales office was nice and helpful. However this office is not fully connected with the manufacturer across the street as implied. Was told wed have someone guide us through the installation process. I had to do all the work and I am still waiting on getting the home set up complete two months after installation. So disappointment with this process and not fully satisfied with the home either due to sloppy craftsmanship. Hoping there arent major issues down the road but it doesnt look promising.
Excellent selection of homes. What they dont tell you is to budget a minimum of $90k for the delivery and setup of the home and they length of time it takes. We decided to go with a site built home.
Better prices and service at Crown Homes in Sutherlin,Oregon, ask for Gary
Friendly service and a great experience. Beautiful, quality homes.
Would never recommend homes direct. Although I love the floor plan the finish work done on the home is horrible. Siding is falling off, large gaps on countertops and back splash, cabinets look like 12 year old kids in woodshop made them( these are upgraded cabinets), part of the house isnt even painted the rest of the house is patchy. Although they keep saying they will come out and fix it no one ever shows up. It has been a battle for months that now will involve attorneys. Im a disabled combat vet and not physically able to fix myself there for will higher contractor and will sue homes direct to recoup. Far warning if you want a beautiful turn key house do not buy from homes direct you will be sorry.
The finish work on these houses is deplorable and no one wants to take responsibility for anything. Going on 8 months since this thing was delivered and still havent been able to move in. Homes Direct is good at acting like they want to help but very little gets done. Palm Harbor isnt even good at acting like they care. Just this week replaced laminate flooring that was damaged before the house ever left their lot. So many more problems to fix before I can move in. It makes me feel sick to my stomach every day just looking at this mess I paid my hard earned dollars for. My mistake doesnt have to be yours. Just say no.
Beautiful homes, prices listed on each home to get an idea of what it would be, and friendly staff without any pressure. We really liked this place and highly recommend them!
Terrible customer service. They stole 90 prescription pain killers from my mom while doing the set up. They dont return phone calls. Their follow through it non-existent. To top it off she called them with a warranty issues and she was told to turn it into her homeowners insurance. Sad to see them take advantage of the elderly. I recommend taking your business elsewhere.
I would recommend going somewhere else if you can. Could be hit and miss with this place. But our experience has been one headache after another. You will feel little to no importance, there is no sense of urgency. Repeatedly our paperwork wasnt turned in, wasnt overseen, wasnt done correctly (even if it was supposed to be overseen by someone else). Consistently held up our loan process. Right now, we are barely going to close before our appraisal expires. Still waiting on paperwork from Homes Direct. Lets hope they build houses better than their customer service...
Very friendly
Trying to deal with this company (and I tried every location, so its really the whole company) is a terrible experience. We were trying to buy a modular home to put on our lot in southern Oregon. I picked the style, picked the options, sent them the address of the property, and even after multiple calls (and also leaving three messages for the owners son, who manages the offices) still could not get a return call or pricing. This company, I have come to realize, is playing a shell game. They give you an online price which is not the base price of the home, then they will not give you the cost of the upgrades unless they have the opportunity to upsell you. You have no idea what the options really cost. The salespeople are rude and not very knowledgeable. The home itself might be ok, once you get through the bad service, but its hard to know. My feeling was, if they wouldnt even return a call BEFORE they got my money, I could be pretty sure they wouldnt after! I finally landed on a great company that serves southern Oregon, and the professionalism and straightforward information is a great. I would not recommend any location of DirectHomes.
Was working a job ticket here. The manufactured homes were nice.
Nice manufacturer!!
Good variety of manufactured home to view with no sales pressure at all to buy
