It is a lot cheaper than Walmart and a lot more laid back. No rude cashiers or self checkouts which I like!

This year more Veterans are able to shop at there military Commissary locations. I have been waiting for over twenty years for this to come to pass. I thank the powers that B for bringing this change.

Love to support the Military anytime that we can.

Ho hum military commissary, nothing special. Pro: good meat selection. Con: New to market items not stocked until much later than they appear in civilian stores. Pricing somewhat lower than outside but not at all suitable as a veteran benefit.Fort Rucker has a much better commissary and would serve well as an example for this store to emulate.

With badly needed renovations taking place, normalcy is impossible. However, what keeps the Commissary with higher marks during this time is its staff/employees. Many items are not available as there would ordinarily be present, but this is to be expected. I still come to the Commissary for my major grocery needs and always will.

Coming from Lejeune this place is very small and under construction at the moment making it even smaller. Publix or farmers market is your best bet for produce. The commissarys is not that great. Meat is cheaper but we have gone twice so far and they were sold out of chicken the first time and 2nd was pretty slim Pickins. We only shopped at the commissary while at Lejeune and unfortunately I dont see us using it here very often.

Notice prices went up on almost everything in the store I can get things i need at Wal-Mart for half that price. Lot of nice employees but you got them same two or three that act like they mad at the world I love the commissary but got to go cheaper

Meat best thing going for them

Many shelves were out of stock. Commissary has discontinued many items that we use to buy there on a regular basis. The only brand of bacon available today was Oscar Meyer which has always been their most expensive brand.

It was very expensive! They have went up on a lot of things in the grocery dept.
