Had a pretty bad experience with online orderWe had a birthday cake orderedThey called 2 hrs before pickup time saying theyre out of cakes! UnrealThey offered a refund which is obvious but the birthday was ruined without a cake. Anyways for customers in future be careful with cake orders.I have usually have had good in person experience but this definitely made me give a low rating - totally unacceptable

The 3 girls working have no sense of urgency. while there is a line pretty much out the door they are standing and talking to each other and not helping any customers. this is horrible customer service and the manager should be notified.

Sadly, youll need a bank loan to pay for ice-cream at CSC. We just paid $13.65 for two small cups (w/ no mix ins) in the like it size. You know what we dont like? THEIR PRICES! Never again.

While waiting to be serviced by the employee present, another employee comes out of the bathroom, picks up utensils off the floor and sticks them in the water in front of the icecream. She never washed her hands or put on gloves. You are nasty and disgusting, the only thing the manager could offer is an apology??

I hate this place I was hung up on by a rude man. I just wanted to order a cake so that I could honor my dead parents.

I just tried to call this location 4 times and kept getting a ringtone without a response, on the 5th try I was finally able to get ahold of someone and was hung up on while trying to get the correct info for them. Very unprofessional and rude! I hope this isn’t normal operations for Cold Stone. I am highly disappointed!!!!

#franchise owner take note!!!! Cold stone is always yummy - this store is always super busy whenever I am there. I ordered an ice cream cake for a birthday a week in advance and they lost the cake. After me and my daughter were left sitting around for an hour while they looked for it, they did give me a free cake from the freezer and my money back so I appreciate that. It was a disappointment but we will just be more careful next time and call and triple check they have it before pickup. Staff was definitely apologetic and frankly they were understaffed. Franchise owner take note that staffing has tendency to be in the weeds.

They tried. When I got there, another couple and myself were asked to stand outside because of the number of people. Then 4 other people walked in after us and nothing was said to them. Im in my 50s, and disrespect and I dont get along. I felt highly disrespected by the employees for putting us out but letting the other younger people stay. I will never go back. And the ice cream is not worth the price.

Uhm.... my cake was perfect until the cashier offered to write on my cake. I assumed he had the skills, so I said yes. All I wanted was Happy Birthday. Attached with this review, is a photo of the cake. Ill let you be the judge. I didnt have it changed because I didnt want the cake to go to waste. (We were going to eat it anyway it looked.) But for a $40 cake..... I dont think it was okay.P.S. If youre the manager of Cold Stone, and you are reading this, please have your employees practice writing for cakes, on paper BEFORE they have to write on cakes for customers.

If I died shortly after having their ice cream, that would be just fine by me. Absolutely delicious ice cream. Tastes homemade, great texture. Very accommodating for my gluten free allergy and my sons nut allergy. This is totally worth a drive from wherever youre coming from in the greater capital district area.

I am an African American single dad trying to enjoy a day out with my daughter at cold stone when one of the workers shouted the “n” word as we were leaving. This situation happens but needs to end and is why I am speaking up to boycott cold stone with new management!!!!!!

Yum. Cold Stone creamery has excellent ice cream and a few outdoor tables and indoor tables if there isn’t an ongoing global pandemic. Service is aimed for a fast pace to ensure you’re in and out with ice cream in your hand.P.S. The ice cream I always get is “Founders Favourite”, it’s a mix of Vanilla, Pecans, Caramel, Hot Fudge, and Brownie. You won’t be disappointed!

Stale waffle bowls, over priced ice cream. Store is clean and smells like candy

One employee is absolutely miserable to talk to and extremely unhelpful. We received two wrong orders, one without a waffle cone and two were smalls when they should be mediums. Their excuse was that the only medium one we received was “made bigger”. We were still charged for 3 regulars evens though we only had ONE. Awful service.

It was my birthday celebration and I received a coupon of buy one get one free. Me and my Fiancé got the LOVE IT sizes of our favorite signatures. I love Cold Stone! And the staff are very friendly.

Love this place - love the concept of an ice cream bar with a cold plate. They also serve ready made ice cream, desserts, and cakes. My only is qualm is its way too small. Not enough seating although there are some spots outside and the line gets really long and busy but theres no where for people to stand.

Quick, clean, and delicious.It is a little bit expensive, but thats the chain overall. A small cup is plenty of ice cream though. Do feel staff could be a little more attentive, and the idea of the cold stone ice cream style has lost its cool over the years. But overall a good stop for a quick bite.

Ice cream is sooo good

This is one of the best ice cream places in Albany. They make the ice cream on a cold stone and mix it up with any ingredients that you want such as cookie dough and chocolate chips. There is usually a lot of people that go here in the evenings on the weekends.

Ive had the icecream its great and Im sure the cake is too,but when I ordered the size for what I paid was bad. My friend got 2 lg. Cakes for just 10 more,she got the better deal. Was not happy paying paying $75.00 and getting nothing

The best ice cream ever!! If a cold stone creamery is in your area you have to stop. If your an ice cream conasore you have to go to cold stone creamery. First taste will have you feel like you have never had ice cream ever before. Thats how good it is!!

They have very fine confections and very good ice cream, but I found it difficult just to get a simple bowl of ice cream without all the add ons. A most excellent vanilla, but the young woman taking my order tried to put in a brownie, the cookie dough was a little vexed that I just wanted ice cream without any of the 49 toppings they add to their signature dishes

Absolutely love the ice cream! Prices are crazy expensive. Their new electronic point system is junk. I miss the old punch cards. I have been here 4 times since they switched to electronic points and have only been able to earn points one time. Super annoying.

As soon as we walked in the three workers gave my family and I the death stare like we just walked in at 9:59 pm. We walked in at 9:25pm they still had a full half an hour left till they closed. Once we got in one took our order but there was two others that didnt stop staring at us and one of them was extremely rude and almost ran in to myself holding my daughter. I was very disrespected and will probably be calling to speak to a manager tomorrow.I have worked in customer service for a very long time so I understand the want for no one to come in late or even close to closing time but we were a half hour before they closed and werent even the last people to walk in. We also were only getting two ice creams, not a lot.

This place has the best ice cream I have ever had before. Their signature collections are truly amazing. The staff take a lot of effort to do it and give it to yu. My all time favorite is surely Chocolate Devotion. I go there almost every fortnight and get the ice cream for the whole week. A definite 5 star place.

Great ice cream. Poor sanitation practices. 1/5 employees wearing gloves. Scoop handles they touched with their bare hands came into contact with ice cream multiple times. No attention to allergens; refilling nuts and spilling them onto the cold slab while other employees made orders.

The ice cream was delicious per usual. It was just the customer service that ruined my experience. My friend and I both had coupons off our total price. Mine was 10% and hers was 15%. After the checked out first she passed me the 15% off coupon to use and the cashier started yelling at us both, trying to humiliate us for going to use the same coupon. So after the awkward situation I used my 10% off, only spending a few cents more without the extra 5%. Extremely ridiculous in this economy.

I have not been to one in years and it was okay, I am only giving 4 stars because the staff was friendly, but ither than that everything was really dirty and they did not wear gloves when getting my ice cream or my friends toppings which slightly grossed us out. Afterwards I had to take a shower because I had random sticky spots all over myself.

Great ice cream, pleasant workers. Only downfall is its a small place so limited seating and on a nice day the lines go out the door! Also I would ADVOID the shakes unless you want to eat it w a spoon anyways or have a anerisim trying to sip it thru a straw.

Ice cream was excellent! Cold stone is always good quality. Servers were unprofessional, they were having an inappropriate personal conversation while helping customers and were not attentive. Id go back during hours when those two female employees were not working.

I had lite vanilla and hubby had chocolate. Both of us were disappointed - Stewarts and Perrys have a better ice cream. Not worth the $12 for a single scoop in a waffle bowl.
