I did like the truck. Went to look at a used vehicle and the inside was great. But looking underneath, saw an oil leak coating the underside. Looked closer and saw the power steering pump was leaking also. Took it for a drive. Lacked power for something of 150k miles on it. Power steering didnt work some of the times and a safety issue. They wanted 16, would only go 14,5. Salesperson tried to steer around issues of the truck and tight lipped about other possible issues. Very disappointed. I know that its a used vehicle, but a very bad experience with the salesperson acting like I was missing out, I was missing out on a few thousand in repairs.

Travis went above and beyond to get us the best rates possible. Kenny was very helpful and knowledgeable up front and honest.No stress experience. My husband has no patience and got through it painlessly.Thank you so much guys!

Didnt offer me a test drive. Arent very good at financing people with poor credit. On a side note, they dont have in house financing like carmax does. It is handicap accessable, and the salesman gave me info about my credit/ previous dealership that were both truthful, and at times blatant lies. Didnt have a good time their, keifer nissan of corvallis was way better.

I went in to look at getting a used car today and spoke with Dan. They ran my credit and found that it was lower than I had expected it to be. They were clear and upfront with me about it, and even said that they thought it shouldn’t have been that low and had advised me to not go through with the purchase since my payments would be too high.They were all very professional and didn’t try to pressure or hassle me into leasing the car. I would definitely come back and be a customer in the future.

I really love my car. I will never go back to Hertz. High pressure sales tactics. I fell for the maintenance agreement pitch and it covers pretty much everything that isnt going to fail. I thought it would be peace of mind. They are nice when they sell you the car,after that its just straight for your wallet. I will never do business with them again.

Nice people. I just want people to do their homework before buying a vehicle. Also please take a vehicle you might buy to your local mechanic. They might say gold standard. We bought a 2500 Ram from them on the last day of March. The test drive was great. When we picked it up we took it on a trip and the truck shook a bit and it pulled to one side. With reluctance the dealership took it back to do an alignment. When we got it back it shook still but it was significantly better. The service department said it wouldnt ride great because it had mud terrains. They said they rotated the tires and adjusted the air pressure. Its now the end of May (less than 60 day later) and the shaking got significantly worse. It felt like we were re-entering the earths atmosphere. I parked the pickup and looked at the tires because it just didnt feel right. The right rear tire had begun to bulge. So we put the spare on it and drove it to our local tire store. The tire expert told us that those were the cheapest mud terrains on the market. He said sometimes dealerships mount those type of mud terrains to make the vehicle look good and also save money. He also told us that the dealership overinflated the tires and that those particular tires werent even rated for the 2500. He also told us that if the tire blew out it could have been catastrophic. I am partly culpable for not taking the vehicle to my local mechanic prior to purchasing it. I dont think I will purchase a vehicle from Hertz again. It is a sad testament on business when money is more important than safety.

I had bought a Corolla from them after my Mazda broke down on the freeway, then I was in an accident recently went back in and they had helped me fight with some lenders to get a new car financed since it was so soon from getting my other vehicle. Both times fast service no pressure to make the sale and will work with you no matter the situation! 10/10

I purchased a car here on Saturday, November 2nd. Everything went well. The salesperson was new, but we got through it. The only thing I really didnt appreciate was being told it was a soft credit pull and it turned out to be a hard credit pull. I paid cash and Im not a terrorist, I dont understand the issue. Otherwise, Im happy with the experience.

Everyone was very nice to my fiance and I. We couldnt get the car we really wanted because it was too old, however, they suggested something else. Do not purchase a vehicle through Hertz. They will offer you financing and then try to change the terms after the “purchase” is finalized. This is illegal in the state of Oregon. If this happens they are required to return any trade in or anything of value when you return the vehicle purchased. They will not return cash down payments immediately, it will be sent to their “corporate office” where a check will be cut to refund your down payment. Meanwhile you are unable to purchase another vehicle because they are holding your money. When this was brought to their attention they hung up on me. Beware, following the law is not a priority for this dealer.

We went in there for a car we saw on the website, they didnt have it at the Albany location but they drove it up from Medford so I could test drive it. The paperwork went very smoothly and after I took it home I found some stains etc. and i brought it back a few days later and they took care of it. The check engine light also went off and they fixed everything overall it was a great experience. Bud was a great person to talk to and he did everything he could to make sure we got what we wanted. I saw online that the Albany Hertz store had a red jeep renegade available and I had been obsessing over this model and color for a long time. I called ahead of time to make sure it was in stock and spoke with Dan Williams. He informed me it wasnt available yet and was in transit to their store. Once it arrived at their store Dan called me to let me know and I rushed down as soon as I was off of work that evening. I test drove the jeep and was instantly in love. I worked with Dan and Robert Benjamin and received excellent customer service. They were very professional, fast, and a joy to work with. Most importantly, I am happy with my purchase!

~WARNING~Guy in charge, Dan Williams deploys unethical business practices.So this Hertz employee named Carl, called my wife about a van we had posted online to sell (the price was under blue book) and we own it- title in hand. On the phone he said that they wanted to buy it and that they liked the price, but buying it was dependent on how it checks out once it is here. And so, of course were happy, so she gladly drives the vehicle 45 minutes to get there to do this. Once she gets there, she hands someone the keys to have it checked out. Carl is not present. Dan then asks, how much are you selling it for? She replies with the same price that was acknowledged on the phone. So then, Dan asks for the keys and said he needed to get some numbers off of it and would be right back. He comes back 35 minutes later and offers a ridiculously low ball offer- over a 30 % reduction. Of course, my wife says Ill have to speak with my husband. She collects the keys and leaves. Dan then pretends to be kind and opens the door for her to exit, saying have a nice day.I am not disgruntled about it not selling. I am disgruntled about how they went out of their way to take advantage us and wasted more than 2 hours of my wifes time with this shady strategy.Dan deployed what Id consider to be very unethical business practices.I have bought two different vehicles from Hertz back to back believing that this Albany Hertz Car Sales was a stand-up place to do business. However, it clearly is not.If we ever go back to do business with them in any capacity with that Dan Williams still employed there, then shame on us.We would absolutely make future purchases from Hertz only after Dan is long gone. Hertz would benefit greatly in the absence of Dan!

It was one the worst decision in my life to spend time to go there. I was selling my car (2010 nissan versa) on Craigslist and one of their staff contacted me and said they were interested in buying my car. He never talked about their offer and he was very serious to buy the car. They even asked my full name to prepare the paperwork before I went there to make the sale easier. I interrupted my work at school and spent 30 mins to drive there. The manager checked the car and told me that the car has some small scratches this and that (very small issues). He offered me $500 for the car and I was selling it for $4500 :) They are quite rude and insulting people. I would recommend everyone to stay away from here.

They purposely wasted hours of my time trying to finalize the details of my purchase after I talked them down to a reasonable price. They also tried to deceive me by claiming that the vehicle they were offering was the only one in the area at their price range. Obviously I looked in advance before going there, so I knew better.Buyer Beware: They dont follow through on any of their promises.Like other people I fell for the claim that I could purchase their special care service and theyre supposed to handle oil changes and light vehicle maintenance such as tire rotations. They dont respond to calls, or they are always busy.Ill be reviewing the terms of my contract and possibly pursuing legal action for a breach of contract.

Went through the car wash with my car that isnt even a month old and it scratched my rear bumper pretty deep. When i called, i asked for their policy on damaged vehicles caused by the car wash and they told me that i could come back and they might be able to fix it. If i thought it could buff out, i would do it myself and not care. You just damaged my car, why would i want you to do anything with it? When i told them that it wasnt much of a policy, they changed tones and said that they actually dont take any responsibility for damages caused in the car wash and there is a big disclosure in the front. Not even a refund for my 12 dollars! Thats what i get for going to hertz! You guys will hear from my insurance :)

Loving my car! We came in pre aprroved through our bank, knew our limit and they worked within that for us. They had great attitudes, we had a bit of back and forth on the price and I am very satisfied with what we got. We did go with some of the extras, I do like that you can cancel them if you want. It did take a long time for the paperwork but it always does. I gave them an almost impossible task for the perfect car for me and the only thing they missed was the color. Out of all the places we went to find a car they were the least stressful and took care of us.

Came in and left with exactly what I wanted. DJ was most definitely the most non pressuring car sales man I have bought a car from and also didnt seem to mind my screaming 1year old. The Finance guy John was also awsome to work with. Definitely would highly recommend both of them!

I bought 2016 vehicle and w/in 4 days of having it...noise started. Took it back factory warranty fixed it. After the fix it still makes same noise. Lassen Chev wont help me because Im a Hertz customer...Hertz was willing to sell different vehicle however would run my credit AGAIN and would not pay off the vehicle full price what I just bought. In three weeks Ive had vehicle in my possession 6 days. Shawn is a GREAT employee he was honest and really tried to help. Jon rushed me and kept downplaying issues and even wrote a note saying: Ill let service know....and did not. Terrible expirience will never buy from Hertz again. Now...I have the loaner car yet again....

Went back 4x to close car deal. They kept forgetting stuff. And ran our credit literally like 20+ times. Took about a month to be done. A little crazy but they filled the gas tank for the hassle.

The purchase was super difficult. I was handed off to 4 different people to help me. I stayed until after 9pm to sign papers, thinking I was finished. They called me the next day saying I needed to come in again. Where I re did the entire process with an entirely new 5th person.In my deal they promised me 4 brand new tires and to install a hitch. They also promised me a loaner car. Well today I went to drop my car off (for a half day service) which they are saying is going to take 2 days. And the loaner car they give me is a Hertz Sales car with logos all over it AS WELL AS being so filthy I almost want to puke. What stuck out most of this nasty loaner car I now have to drive around town for two days..... cigerette buds all over in the back seats. Dirt and filth all over the steering wheel, all the mats and filthy to touch the outside when closing the door. Like my hand is almost black every time I close the door. I don’t need much but I mean What the heck??I DO NOT recommend hertz to anyone at all. Not for sales and definitely not for service or auto care. This is the worst I’ve ever experienced. Plain gross too!!

Went in the a few weeks back to look at a newer Ram 1500 they had in stock. Asked about what warranty remained, sales person, told me Full factory warranty...is on the truck. I wanted to do a pre-purchase inspection..they refused to let me take the truck...so I took the VIN off of the truck and went to Lithia Dodge, to see if and what warranty remained on it...they said Dodge products previously owned in Canada, the warranty was null and void! So, the Salesperson lied BIG TIME. So, I ended up buying a 1 year old Ram 1500 from Lithia, for $2500 less, and it was an American Truck with a full factory warranty. BUYER BEWARE and do your homework, most previously owned Canadian vehicles do not come with any factory warranty. I then get a call from someone named Ken(?) to ask if I was still interested, and I told him what happened and he tried to tell me that I was wrong...and I told him so, and said NOT SO, this truck is Canadian! No factory warranty. He said they offered warranty on them for extra, and I told him again, I bought one already then said, not only did I buy a year newer truck, for less, but did not feel forced to buy an extended warranty on it, just to have some kind of peace of mind on it. SO BUYER BEWARE, they sell shady trucks there, possibly cars. These vehicles are obviously not retired rental cars...but gray market Canadian cars full of rust too!

We have got two vehicles from hertz and have never been disappointed. They work with you on financing, making sure you have all the paper work in order, and that you feel satisfied with the whole transaction.
