My recent service experience was VERY disappointing. Since August 1st I had been calling the service department to schedule a regular service. It wasn’t until the 29th did BMW finally pick up my car for service after several calls to check on my scheduled appointment. After the pick up, I never received communication on the status of my vehicle. Each day I had to call the dealership to check on my vehicle. I was told on several occasions that I would receive a loaner and never got one. I went an entire work week without a vehicle and poor communication. At this point it was nearing the end of the week and I still was calling to check on my vehicle. Victoria said that two guys were on their way to deliver my vehicle, however hours later she called saying that they aren’t able to. She then said she would bring my vehicle after hours and again led me on to think I would be receiving my vehicle and never did until the next day. Not only did I struggle with talking with her, but I also contacted the dealership twice to speak with the manager Gil, however he never returned my calls after the receptionist stated that she notified him of my call. Had they were just honest and communicated with me, all of this could have been avoided! Overall, this experience was the worst I have seen since I have been a customer of BMW for over four years!
My daughter was told to come in today to get her x2 looked at because her brake light was on. When we got there we were told we had to make an appointment. The young lady was very nice and she helped us schedule the appointment once this appointment is complete I will return and let you know about the service in maintenance
All the employees are nice and super helpful! Made things easy when talking prices, maintenance, etc. They did not try and hide anything about expenses. It was a very pleasant exchange!

I own a busy collision center and refer work to this dealer often. Their service department has always done a great job for me and my friends.I recently had a car repaired there and had a core charge on a part (order#149678)They owed me money back on this part. I paid the core charge forward and was to mail back part for a refund.I did mail the part back but never got my refund, $240 and never got a return call. No worries Ill send my customers to Jacksonville.
After keeping my 2013 Mercedes, that I purchased from Albany BMW, for a month in the shop, the lights reported are still on, after having the vehicle 2 months. 4 deep dives, 1500 dollars, for absolutely nothing. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I emailed the dealership last week, and received a generated response. Ni phone call no nothing. The vehicles are beautiful, but I have no intention of ever using this dealership again. Very poor customer service...

Owning BMWs since 1970, and as a professional Army officer, I have used dealerships from Atlanta to Seattle, south to La Republica de Panama. None have measured up to BMW of Albany.

The service BMW Albany provided for my vehicle was excellent. However, the customer service I received from Tori Hardin left a lot to be desired.Upon finishing my service she left a voicemail on my phone that she had made several attempts to contact me + that its our policy for customers to pick up their vehicles within 48 hours of services being completed. This was the one + only voicemail I received regarding services being complete on my vehicle so it was very strange to hear. For one, Im pretty sure I want to get my car back asap so why would I ignore a call/message? Secondly, if this was the case it seems the best customer service would be to assume the customer didnt receive your communication rather than insinuating they are somehow not trying to retrieve the vehicle they are paying money to service.Either way the receptionist + Toris boss Kay were very courteous! I sincerely appreciate their professionalism, and hope most of the staff at BMW Albany is a reflection of their character.

The fluids in my vehicle (specifically the windshield wiper fluid) listed on my maintenance complete read out sheet receipt, were not properly topped off. My confidence that anything really was completed after discovering this was severely shaken and put into doubt. I am going to reschedule another service at home here in Virginia Beach to ensure that my windshield wiper fluid is properly topped off and that all the work noted on the service statement was properly done. I had already taken an L (lost) on the fact that my tires were not covered under warranty after I had just purchase the warranty for them less than or a little over a year ago, which was puzzling, but I reluctantly went ahead with the explanation that the receptionist gave me and spent over $800 on new tires anyway. Just wanted to get back home safe. The receptionist provided good service. I say good and not great because, she originally told me the warranty was sufficient to cover my extreme road hazard event, but after a good period of time called back to tell me the bad news otherwise. Hey, we all make mistakes, but I was totally kicked in the ribs with that one. The tech handling my car seemed to be upset because I needed to retrieve something from my car real quick. Also he had an attitude with the receptionist excepting another customer because he wanted to go home. Broken customer service bearing should not be on display for customers. I just had services done, but I am not confident at all that any of it really got done because during my long journey, 11hrs back home to Virginia Beach after visiting family in Georgia for the holidays, my windshield wiper fluid, which was empty before I brought it, was totally empty for me on the road. All my service with BMW up to this point has been outstanding, above standards, and first class, but this just blew my confidence with BMW nationally. I will strongly reconsider my dealings with the brand anywhere else than locally in Virginia Beach, but may be enough for me to consider other luxury avenues in the future.
Great prompt service. Did a video check in and this helped identify a worn tire that would’ve blown within 50 miles. These guys saved me from being stranded. Gil replies to calls immediately . Top notch service .

My experience was top notch!!From the kind lady named Kay that transferred my call to Torrie in service, everyone was so nice, helpful, and professional!!I called Torrie several times during my car stay, and everytime she was courteous, explained my problems with my car, and made me feel so comfortable. Its quite reassuring when you know your vehicle is in good hands.From the time my car was delivered to the BMW dealership, Torrie followed up with me, gave me a detailed estimate on repairs, repairs were made, and my car was ready when she said it would be, and then it was delivered to my apartment. Kudos to Kay, Torrie, and the BMW technician, they did an Awesome Job!!

I was extremely disappointed by the process of dropping off my vehicle for service. I have been a loyal customer for over 15 years and the service provided was not anything I am familiar with. Due to the pandemic and me being medically frail as well as us having a 12 month old at home my husband dropped off my vehicle. He called while there because he was receiving horrible service from Gil and being treated in a such a poor manner. The tone and the manner in which Gil was handling him dropping off the vehicle is not what youd expect from someone who interacts with customers on a daily basis. Again, we understand the times we are in as my.husband hold 3 Biology degrees and works in dentistry so he has and continues to have best practices to keep himself and others safe. All attempts to interact in order to complete the process of transitioning from my vehicle to loaner were met with an aggressive tone. I have not used a loaner in several.years as well as my husband has never dropped off a vehicle for me so we were not privy to all the new policies in place. We were prepared to adhere to them all. Gil was having a difficult time explaining and determining best course of action being that I was not.the one dropping off vehicle. My husband did state that while Gil was so aggressive with him another customer who was African American arrived and was treated so poorly she stormed off. However, another customer who was caucasian and was visibly treated to the highest level of respect. In the end my husband had to call me.to have me interact with Gil over the telephone to get.the process handled. Again, I have been a customer of Albany Motorcars for over 15 years and this service complete drop off was completely not anything that Id expect my husband to experience. The service tech did perform all service and texted video which I do like the new feature. Upon picking up my vehicle I was greeted by Rob Roy who is a always a please. Gil was able to retrieve my vehicle and handle the turning in of the loaner vehicle. Our interaction was limited and to the point. I do hope that while were globally experiencing this pandemic that Gil and all who have customer interaction will be further trained on proper interaction while keeping themselves and others safe.
The staff is friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to find the right vehicle for us and because of that effort we bought a nice Mercedes Benz from this location.
I found a BMW online that I was extremely interested in, and am so lucky that client advisor Rob Roy answered my call. He was kind, honest, and extremely helpful and thorough. Very knowledgable about the vehicle and was able to confidently answer all of my questions. Derick Davenport was very helpful and prompt through the finance process and answered all of my questions and concerns, as well as let me know my various options. Mr. Goode then delivered my car out of state, and was also very helpful and kind. I am extremely happy with my purchase and the customer service I received from BMW of Albany. At original point of sale we bought an ex warranty and we understood it included maintenance. When we were notified of due service we were NOT told of any cost.When we received the call it was ready and told the cost, it was quite shocking.Your Service Manager was extremely harsh with my wife which I really dont appreciate! I left a voice message w the GM who never bothered to return. My wife also left messages w GM and Sales Mgr. They never bothered to return her calls.Poor way to get return customers or referrals.

I want to share a story that I experienced recently, in which I feel needs to be brought the attention of the Albany BMW management team and those considering sales/service at Albanys BMW dealership...I live in the state of Virginia and recently traveled to Albany to visit family. While transiting through Atlanta on my way to Albany, my 2011 328xi experienced what I thought to be a possible coil/spark issue. I had my wife do a Google search for BMW dealerships in/around the Albany area for a diagnosis/repair upon arrival. And considering our arrival in Albany was on a Friday, near the end of the business day, and that I needed to begin my return trip home to Virginia the following day; I knew the odds were against me, but prayed for the best outcome. My wife and I were very pleased with the professionalism and compassion of the staff at Albanys BMW dealership. From the lady who answered our call while traveling and scheduled me under emergency conditions, the service writers who accepted the car and kept us constantly updated throughout the process, to the mechanic(s) behind the scene who gave my car the prompt attention it needed; we could not have been more impressed! We received the quality of service under emergency conditions, that Ive come to know under normal situations over the past eight years of being a BMW owner/customer. I thanked the service writers for their prompt attention and care given to us and our situation when picking up the car. I would sincerely appreciate someone in management recognizing ALL who assisted us in our time of need. Those involved represented themselves and Albany BMW in a way that brings great credit upon themselves and that of the BMW name and line of vehicles!Its the customer service aspect of BMW that keeps us driving the ultimate driving machine!

Bunch of crooks. Jamie is nice but I think she would be a better fit somewhere else. I would not spend another dime there. There service department forgot they had my car and it took 5months to get it back.
The service department at this dealership is a sorry excuse for a service department, not to mention suppose to be BMW service. We have spent 2 weeks practically begging our service adviser to call us back. We have even left messages for the general manager and still no return call. We will drive to Tallahassee in the future. NEVER making this mistake again.!!The only reason I am giving them 1 star is that is the only way to leave a review!

Was passing through Albany for a business meeting when I noticed that my check engine light was illuminated and the staff at this BMW location was gracious enough to accommodate an immediate visit. Very nice environment and exceptionally helpful staff provided at quick diagnosis so that I could continue on my way. I wish all dealerships were like this one!
Im a student at Darton college and went in for a radiator hose and it took 5 days to fix my car and they were not able to give me a convenience car for the whole week. I called every day including my parents and majority of the time could not reach the service desk. even spoke to the service manager and was not called back with the status of my car! lady on the phone was not helpful and rude to my parents as well. I bought a luxury high end car and expect the same kind of treatment out of a BMW dealership. Will not be returning

YAYYY an employee who lasted longer more then 3 months !! My experience here at this dealership has been horrible. I called for a part pricing and was rude to and when asked what his name was, I was given a name of someone else in that department. I then called service where Brandon Joyner took care of me. I called on three different occasion was told that he was going to call me back. I never received a single call. I had to set up my appointment by driving down to the dealership. My appointment was supposed to be installing the new part and my oil and routine service. I later found out when I arrived at the dealership for my appointment, he never added my oil and service only my part. Luckily it was 8 in the morning and Jessica had time to fit me in. I came back via shuttle after they called me telling me my car was ready. When I arrived I noticed a component of the part I had put in was not there. The job was not finished because that component was being painted and had yet to arrive. I waited two and a half hours until it was brought and installed. I brought my savings card which gives me 15% off that I received months ago. When asked if there is any discount for the inconvenience he responded with what inconvenience and there is already 15%. I asked to speak with the manager since Brandon told me there is nothing he can do. I had to wait another hour due to the managers lunch. After the general manager arrived I was accused of lying when I asked the manager if he had thought that there was some inconvenience. I received a discount of 5% for all my troubles. I will never buy another BMW, ever recommend it to anyone and never do business with BMW of Albany.PS The only person who was not rude to me was the shuttle driver

This place is by far the most unprofessional group of people Ive ever dealt with pertaining to my car. Every time I called about my car, I was told that someone would call me back and guess what nobody ever did. One of the mechanics torn the windshield panel off from its original position and when I asked them about it they told me that its was already like that. To be honest if youre African American I wouldnt take my car there because they are very unprofessional but on the other hand with the other race they treat them with the upmost respect. My overall experience with this place was so bad I was considering sell my car, I will never in my life time take my car to them ever again.
The service department went out of their way to help me with a transmission issue, eventually adding two quarts of transmission fluid at a very reasonable price

New management makes this dealership fall to a NEW LOW. I am not new to this dealership, having bought a couple of cars from there in the last few years. I enjoyed doing business with Karen Smith. While I knew their business was to make money, I felt like I was in good hands and she always followed through with her promises. Allen, Carlos and David are all a pleasure to do business with as well. My most recent purchase, however, has become a different story. Just a few short months after purchasing a certified 5 series, I was informed I needed a new motor due to a defective oil filter housing. Here is where the nightmare begins. A year and a half later, the car continues to be plagued with problems. Fortunately for me, I purchased a maintenance agreement (Thank you, Karen!) so most repairs have been covered. But the blowing smoke, rough ride and constant trips to the dealer have gotten tiresome. A recent conference with new management, where they admit I got a shoddy car, ended with an insulting offer on trade. I am surprised they dont stand behind the BMW name better. Lesson learned.
Customer service is five star! I was greeted at my vehicle with a smile and by eager team members waiting to meet my service needs. They made sure that I had transportation back to work and double checked to see if I needed a ride back after the work was complete. #teamhappyBMWcustomer

Sooooo disappointed with this company. Sales was nice but honestly the car was definitely not inspected like I was told. First I had a check engine light and that was fixed later now 1 month later and 1000 miles later the car is smoking. You would think from a luxury dealership they would sell more reliable cars not cars that has soooo many problems. Now I’m stuck with a bmw that I have to take back to them to repair out of pocket. I continue to get surveys from bmw about my service I definitely gonna let them know how I truly feel about the one I got. Also my paperwork was sent back to Atlanta for my tag so I had to wait for that to be reprocessed. So honestly I’m so disappointed I can’t even rate this as a 1 star . I was forced to select one star in order to write a review. My advice would be please don’t make the mistake I did. Smokey
Service is sooooo poor at this place...after unsuccessfully having my Bimmer serviced, I said goodbye...went down the street and practically gave it away for a Lincoln so that I could get back to the service department at Sunbelt. Go see Robert in the Ford service department...you will have no regrets.
