Great store, great staff, great selection. Overall, great

I used to buy some text books here when I was a student years ago, it was convenient because it was right on campus instead of going downtown to Maryjanes

Pricey pricey pricey! But it is a university bookstore, so I guess its to be expected. Staff are pretty good, availability of items is alright. I dont have any major complaints! This store makes it easy to order your textbooks and return them, but fair warning, lines get LONG. I did notice their selection of other items has gone down in the past two or three years with the construction going on on campus.

They pretty much have all the text books that are needed. And then you can pick up youre campus gears ( yeaaaa,school spirit!!)..active wears and such. Or pens and notepads. There is also candy around the register area,for your craving needs.

As usual for a university book store, its slightly overpriced, but youre paying for the convenience. It does have a lot of small things that come in handy, like ibuprofen and headphones, again, if youre willing to pay a bit extra for having a store in the middle of campus.

Great in that theres always books stocked for any class you need on campus. Never use for convenience food or supplies unless its an emergency. Very overpriced like any campus bookstore. Check Walmart in Albany before buying clothes there for the same reason. Theres a website to shop through them too. Never wait until the last day in finals week to hand in your books or youll take an hour or two out of your day.

I enjoy wasting money. Thanks to the ualbany bookstore, their insane profit margins let me waste so much money, even when buying a single textbook! Thanks Barnes & Noble!

Great for books. East tons of staff to help you out. School supplies though have a high mark up.

Terrible customer service. Staff are incredibly rude and lifeless. The people who work at this waste of a store only care about themselves and it shows. Save your money and buy online or elsewhere because the Ualbany bookstore here has not only horrible customer service but overpriced prices on everything. I came into the bookstore to purchase a couple books I had rented. Immediately I was met with oh just go online and do it yourself. What? I then proceeded to say that I came to the store for a reason. Boy the employee did not like to hear that. After trying to purchase the books myself the employee then proceeded to tell me that I was charged already. This presented a problem of itself because I explicitly told the bookstore that I planned to pay for the books in person. The guy then told me: well, you could work it out with your mother. I swear the people you meet on this campus are some of the coldest people around. Dont waste your time on this store.

Its a bookstore. Just like every college bookstore. Little nicer than ours.

Expensive!! I would wear more gear if I could afford it. Instead I just have one sweatshirt I got on sale. Also, getting books through them is usually more expensive.

Typical school bookstore that gouges students and parents on merchandise at MSRP prices like youre trapped in a theme park. dozens of different style of caps, but nothing fitted.

Geesh could they make parking there anymore difficult? Alumni might actually stop in if they could park close and not pay a ridiculously high fee.

Has price matching for those more expensive text books. Sales almost constantly and employees are always nice-ish.

Overpriced, better to try and rent from amazon if you are strapped for cash. Handy for when you forgot something that you need to do an assignment, or want to grab some quick food, but youll pay through the nose for the convenience of it.

Prices high but what College Book Stores arent with cost of Books and Tuition staff very helpful and polight. Which makes for a postive visit and security for a parent sending their child away to college. Thanks

I realize I had items on my receipt that I didnt purchase! 😡, not an easy fix, because I have no way to prove it.

Just picking up some books for class, actually came out cheaper than Amazon. Employees are less than enthusiastic about assisting customers.
