Great school need to update their merch...
Yesterday there is a chance I did viewing this campus. The campus is completely empty. The students have a way of being noticably rude. I ask myself why did I decide to come to this particular campus? Most Universitys have a safe well welcoming environment but this one needs some updates. I will not be returning.
Very expensive for no reason
Albany State University is a great school. Despite what some say, ASU offers a lot to its students in comparison to other campuses. Students go on to do great things after graduating. It is a catalyst in the community of Albany, Southwest Georgia, and the state.
My daughter has moved in a Freshman this Fall 2015 semester and so far so good. We loved the university my husband and I met at our alma mater an HBCU. We are very happy to send her to this school. They have been very helpful and extremely nice, warm, and informative. Cant say enough about the experience.
Id like to start off by stating that Albany State University is the #1 Public HBCU in GA (US News & World Report). As a Honors Program student at ASU I highly recommend this university. Here, I have always had someone in my corner who was willing to help me get to where I want to go.. if I was willing to help myself. The Honors Program here is excellent. The directors equip us with whatever we need, and are like a family-away-from-home. The classrooms are smaller, so there is more interaction There are 50+ organizations on this campus that are about community service and peer mentoring. Albany State has a rich history, and I dont see myself anywhere else. I think Ive found some lifelong friends here. Just like at any other campus-- its all about how you make your experience here.
ASU is the BEST school in Doughty County, Albany. I am looking forward to go there and I know I will enjoy it.
Nice bookstore. Didnt get to see all of it though
Too many negative african american people. They do not like to help others succeed and they are very slow in everything that they do. This has been the worse college experience and I would not recommend anybody to go there. A lot of people transfer after their first year because of the people and the experience. They overcharge on tuition and you wonder where your money is going. They have lost their accreditation with many of their programs.I could go on but please DO NOT attend this school.
Any easy school to get in but expensive as heck!!! I would go to a more affordable more diverse school
I have never attended but I have nothing negative to say I support all HBCU
Ridiculous how expensive they are for things kids need. My son paid $15 for a $5 charger.
So so school emphasizeing race based grades
Administrators and frats hate white boys, but the girls like them
Great school.
