The best store ever! Dave is the GOAT. The best customer service Ive ever had and the funniest dude this side of the Hudson.

What an amazing store. They had the largest selection of Fantasy and Sci-fi books Ive ever seen in one location. They had paperbacks, hardcovers, and even a section of autographed books. I liked that they also had gaming space for TCGs and role playing games. They had an amazing table with an acrylic top that had dice around the edge and Magic packs inside.

I was very impressed by their selection of both games and used books. I bought a big armful of used books, some of which Ive been trying to find for a while, and it didnt break the bank. The staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Please do what you can to support this and other businesses like it during the pandemic. This one in particular definitely deserves it.

Alex was very friendly and helpful in giving me a tour of the store and in our conversations. He showed me where all the books were by category and author. They have a lot of great sales on used books right now that you should check out. We also talked about Warhammer, Pathfinder, D&D, etc. Recommend you check it out for books and tabletop games, and his knowledge was much appreciated.

Best place around for magic enthusiasts

Great store with a variety of miniatures, books, and cards. I always look through the dump bins because they contain many cards that people over look! While the store contains different miniatures they could expand their offerings. The common area had a space to play card or board games and the store also offers unique custom cards. I had a great time here, and getting started in the Magic the Gathering community. Would recommend for anyone.

This is my favorite place to shop. I appreciate the FIV positive cat home and the selection of used RPG materials to round out sets. It is also the only place to go to look for that hard to find Sci-Fi/Fantasy book. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They have spare no effort in making sure I leave satisfied

The store is inconspicuous from the outside. Without Google Maps to notify me that I had arrived, I would not have guessed as such. However, I have to admit this place is a treasure trove of books, specifically from the Sci Fi and Fantasy genre. So if you are looking more for romance novels or non fiction or even the childrens section, this might not be your spot. However, the store compensates by having tons of used books from all the sub genres in sci fi. You definitely get a strong sense of 80s or 90s nostalgia, even early 2000s, by looking at all their collected titles. The only area where the store owner can improve upon is in the organisation. If you are looking for a very specific title or author, tracking it down can be quite daunting. There are no good organisational cues to guide you towards what you are looking for. However, if you are a book lover, this is definitely a place worth supporting and rewarding to visit.

Love how it is open and peaceful. I love seeing the cats it makes me feel welcome. The bins is a nice new way of selling cards good if you don’t have an idea of what to get. Sometimes the workers aren’t that nice but still recommend the place.

GREAT book store with many used, out of print copies. The owner goes the extra mile to hunt down titles for you even if she doesnt have it in stock. Brand new books as well but this store really serves the used book community best. Also a great gaming store as well for Dungeons & Dragons. It has all the books, miniatures, tiles and maps youd ever need as well as a decent dice selection. Give them a try.

My childhood in a room - always have shopped here for magic cards, I love going through the dump bins for their 10 cent cards, Ive built entire decks out of those bins. The store cats are icing on the cake too!

Super friendly staff and Bob the cat said hello as well. Its very much oriented towards Warhammer + MTG + D&D. The used books are like a treasure trove of ideas for your own homebrews. Theres miniatures + painting supplies and scheduled miniature painting tutorials.

I walked in looking to get a Magic The Gathering starter deck for my friend after being denied one at Zombie Planet and the employee gave me three! Also he informed me of many things about the game I did not know myself. This was a very pleasant experience and I plan to return.

Our Pathfinder Adventure Card Game group had a GREAT time. Thank you ! Sir James & Tyler are very helpful and friendly. On a summer night, this game store was just right. Not too hot, nor to cold (A/C). (Some places in the summer are FREEZING with the a/c.) You should SEE what this game store has !

I dont know what I can contribute to the reputation of Flights of Fantasy. It is the ultimate hole in the wall, but at the same time an absolute local icon which has been there for, what, decades now? I go primarily for the Sci-Fi book selection, both used and new, which is Tardis-like in its ability to contain more than it seems like the store is capable of. My kids were with me last time, and found an MTG Guild Kit that apparently youre not supposed to be able to get outside of some big set, and they were ecstatic. Its nerdvana!

Had exactly what I was looking for. Great selection of 5E and Pathfinder books and other games as well. The guy working was really helpful and showed me some stuff about 5E I didnt know.

There was some kid in there completely disrespectful and cocky to the novice customers. I also heard him to tell the woman working (who was very nice) to go do her job while he was going to eat get pizza. My friends took me there to get me something for my birthday, and the gentleman in there made it so uncomfortable for me and my 6 year old special needs child, we decided to tell my friends dont spend their money here and we decided to wait outside because i didnt even want to be in the same building with him.The date was 9/13/17 around 5pm...

Its a nice quaint store, I went in the other night to check it out. They were running a MTG tournament, absolutely lovely experience. I personally dont play but the atmosphere was geeky and fun.Docked a point here though because Im more of a Pokemon TCG player myself, and the selection here was more oriented towards MTG, Yu Gi Oh, DnD, and Warhammer 40k.

Super helpful staff, theyre super friendly and theres a cat that greets you when you walk in. I went in specifically to find a card game that they didnt end up having in stock, however the employee there looked up the closest location and made sure to give me all of the information he could. What more could you ask for?

Very biased rating. I know the owner, Maria, who keeps me up to date with authors books I like, special orders books she doesnt carry, and keeps cats in the store. Bob Twos place is on the counter, where he is sure to get admiration and scritchins from patrons. In general, the staff is friendly, willing to keep anybody up to date on authors, special order books and games, and more than happy to let you scritch the cats. The store also does a lot of business in gaming, specializing in collectables.

Im not into MTG, but they have plenty of Scifi and Fantasy books, as well as tabletop games. The store has a lot of whatever it is your looking for, and I felt like I could ask for help, something I dont always feel walking into a specialty store. Will come again next time I need to get something for DnD.

The store is great I go here every Saturday for my pathfinder group to meet up. The staff is nice and helpful, so are the customers themselves. Everyone knows what they are talking about, you can almost always find what you need. Everyone is so kind. Theres so many books great selections of rpg tools, and cards for other games. Tables to play on, and the employes dont mind you staying as long as you need for a session.We stained a game mat once and lotd of people came toghter to lend us makers the right ones, help us clean it, and teach us the difference between wet and dry erase markers. Never have i felt better in a store like this. Its such a welcoming place. Makes me look forward to every Saturday. When I get to go to the wonderful store with wonderful people.

Its like a hoarded house full of everything Ive ever wanted to read instead of garbage and cats. Theres a Lovecraft shelf, Edward Gorey, Esoteric titles...every game you can think of if thats your thing...the price of used books is very fair and you can find some rarities here for way less than youll find them online...if you can find them at all.
