While in S New Mexico traveling recently my check engine light came on in my 2007 Volvo S60R. Jimmy (owner) analyzed my car on the spot, found issues and overnighted parts. He repaired y car next day, very fair pricing, excellent work and got me back on the road. Drove back to Colorado in perfect shape. Fabulous experience all the way around! I was looking for a shop to service my 2008 Mercedes C300. Stopped in and talked to James (Jimmy). He was courteous, professional and knowledgeable about the car. I scheduled oil and filter change, along with Cabin air filters. Also had a tire pressure sensor replaced. All work was done as promised on schedule, timely and at a fair price. Very happy I found S.H. Automotive. They will be doing all my work on my C300 in the future. Highly recommend them!

Took a 30 year old Corolla to them for timing system, a tuneup and a long term intermittent start problem along with transmission service and other nitnoid basic maintenance items. Everything was perfect right off the bat….until the replacement starter failed a couple of months later. Called the owner and he got it re-replaced right away since it was under parts and labor warranty and it has been running great ever since! These guys are very busy, they told me up front that they aren’t the cheapest in town, but they are about quality of work, and after using them, I believe they are among the best! Jimmy was honest throughout and good to his word! And he washed the old car both times before I picked it up! I will use them for all my other automotive needs.

Jimmy and Andrea were SO nice!! They helped my Son resolve an intermittent AC issue. My Wife and I are thousands of miles from Holloman AFB where our Son is stationed. Peace of mind is EVERYTHING to us, literally — Jimmy explained in simple how to address and resolve the AC issue, and now the 2007 Honda Civic Si is a freezer!!! Haha! So awesome! The most welcomed and cared for Ive felt at a mechanic. Im traveling around in my Honda and the check engine light came on. I called in, stopped by 20 minutes later, and was out the door in 15 minutes with a simple solution they said I can do myself and feeling much more hopeful than when I came in. I offered to pay for the time and they said it wasnt necessary. I didnt catch their names, but the owners were fantastic and very warm. I kinda wanted to just sit on their comfy couches and chat all day haha. Thank you!

I bought a new bmw that needs a lot of work and after having someone work on it that didn’t have any knowledge of what they were doing, I was feeling pretty hopeless until I found these guys! They were busy, which is understandable but they got the work done in a timely manner and were completely transparent about everything that needed to be done. Overall great place to go for maintenance: lovely and gorgeous receptionist, knowledgeable workers and just all around great people. Not many places will give you a ride home after you drop your vehicle off. That alone puts them above others. 10/10 would bring my car in again.

My e46 M3 was having overheating issues nonstop. I had everything replaced and couldn’t figure out what else to do. These guys instantly diagnosed the problem (turns out it was my radiator) they ordered a new one and installed it the same day and now my car runs like a dream with no more overheating problems. Bottomline upfront: I use SH Automotive for everything.Fantastic business and mechanic team. These are the only guys in town I will take my Range Rover to. They are experts in working on European vehicles, especially high-performance. They do better work than the Land Rover Dealership and they’re local. Truly everything I could ask for in a mechanic. There has been nothing they couldn’t figure out so far and that’s difficult to say on a Land Rover. They work quickly, honestly, and don’t cut corners. The proprietor, Jimmy, is an exceptional troubleshooter—he just has a talented mind for anything mechanical. If he doesn’t know the answer he’ll tell you and then figure it out. The guy is bating 1000 so far. Take your European vehicle to SH, you won’t be let down.

I took my vehicle there for a repair after getting an engine light code. They actually did a great diagnosis and found the car actually had a different issue than the engine code reported. They sent me an estimate via text which opened an app that allowed me to see the different services I needed. Bi followed up with a phone call and they were happy to explain what was needed with the car even though the estimator app explained it. Prices seemed fair and the service was fast. Car is driving great now.

Ive had two oil changes from them, the second time I had an oil level sensor put in, both times they were very nice, quick and professional. Car was out same day i dropped it off and running great.

Jimmy knows his stuff well. He and his crew are very friendly and nice. I towed my car there, they gave me a ride home. At the end, we found that the problem on my truck is covered by an extended warranty offer by the manufactory. Jimmy told me that I should have the car repaired by the dealership, and he didnt charge me for his check on the truck. Highly recommended.
