I’m so happy to have found this practice! They are excellent at what they do. From the time you walk in the door, to meeting the doctor, the exam and having your glasses made, they provided the best service. These folks know what they’re doing. After spending 4 months at another eye practice trying to get my prescription right, I gave up and walked away losing money and time. I reached out to Acworth Family Eyecare for help and they had me in their office within 2 days. I saw Dr. LaSalle and she quickly figured out what the other eye practice was messing up. I had 2 new pair of lenses that were perfect the first time! The turn-around time was 1 week! Amazing! I’m now a loyal patient and will never go anywhere else.

I chose Acworth Family Eyecare, after meeting Dr. Reach and one of his staff members, Rose, outside of their facility. I had such a positive experience with them, that I decided to bring my children and I, here for our annual visits.The facility is beautiful, staff is friendly, and appointments ran as scheduled!!!We will continue to use Acworth Family Eyecare for all our future visits! Do not seek vision therapy here, or expect caring or knowledgeable health care. The office sent me five text messages after my appointment asking for a review, so here it is. They also asked me not to leave a negative review, which is probably why they have such a high rating.Front desk was very friendly, but did not have me fill out any new patient paperwork even though I arrived early to do so. Never received an email with any paperwork and was advised that sometimes their system is slow to send.Tech who did my initial vision exam was super rude. I didnt catch her name. She rushed through the couple of tests assigned to her and didnt give clear instructions. Talked a mile a minute. Im happy to share the full story with the clinic as I have the interaction on tape, but just know that they will rush you through your vision tests.The optometrist I saw was LaSalle. She was not at all knowledgeable about my eye condition or the advancements made in its treatment, and that was why I specifically chose this clinic. Between her vision tests and the ones the tech performed, they even ended up giving me the wrong prescription (I went to a different optometrist the following week because I had so little confidence in their care). My prescription was off by about 20.Their vision therapist was very sweet but was not able to explain how vision therapy works, give me any patient success stories or metrics, or give me a ballpark cost.I would not return to this office if it were the last one in Georgia.

Called the office in the afternoon and was seen for my eye which was irritated and red. Everyone at the office was caring and concern about my eye. Love going there.

Thank goodness for lousy vision insurance! My new vision insurance plan did not cover my normal big-name eye clinic, so I had to search for a new option. This was the only clinic that could schedule an appointment the same week. The several other providers I tried were 3+ weeks out.Ive worn glasses/contacts for 45 years and I must say that this is the best eye exam experience Ive ever had!First, my insurance never sent a vision insurance card, and it was nowhere to be found on their website. I was dreading the hoops I would have to jump through to resolve this. The staff contacted my insurance, got a copy of my card, and EMAILED ME A COPY! (An hour+ of my life saved right there) When I walked in for my appointment a little early to give myself time to complete the expected thick clipboard of usual forms, I was told that the information I had completed online was all they needed. Whoa. There was no one else in the waiting room which was weird. Most places stack appointments so deep there is no chance of the appointment being kept on time. Lo and behold I was called back at the exact time of my appointment. Thats a first for me.The technician escorted me to what looked like the med-bay of the starship enterprise. It was full of the latest eye diagnostic gizmos that made for a quick and painless experience. All the equipment was sanitized BEFORE I walked in versus being wiped down while I stood and waited (what a great concept). The technician was very knowledgeable and friendly. We had a very pleasant and informative conversation while my eyes were tested, measured, photographed, scanned, etc.I was led to the Dr exam room and didnt even have time to read the marketing posters before the Dr promptly walked in and began her examination. It was not rushed in the least bit. I felt like it was the most thorough and well-explained exam Ive ever had, and the Dr gave me options that I had never heard of or been offered before. This will sound codgerly, but the past few exams Ive had at the other place I felt like I didnt give the best answers to Is 1 better or 2, how about 3 or 4? All changed and asked so quickly in a single breath that I wasn’t sure I gave the best answer. This was a different experience. It was comfortably slow and methodical. In the end I was sure we had the best correction option discovered.I have a super-strong prescription and normally my contact lenses must be ordered, and I wait several days before I can even try them. They had my contacts in stock and I walked out seeing better than ever.A freebie: I also noticed they do vision therapy. Years ago, one of my sons had some learning challenges and went through this elsewhere and it was UNBELIEVABLE the difference it made. To be honest, I thought it was a sham until we saw the results. (FYI, he’s graduating university this year with a 4.+ GPA. Proud dad here.)I guess this may sound like a paid endorsement but its not. Never met any of the staff before my visit. I am just super pleased with Acworth Family Eyecare and cannot give a higher recommendation.

I never feel like I am being rushed through an exam so that they can get to the next patient. They do a stellar job of seeing to my eye care needs and going the extra mile. EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM IS AMAZING!!!They went well above and beyond to make sure I was well taken care of and fixed my issues with a smile. I will never go anywhere else for my glasses or contacts. My first visit was 09.19.2020.Extremely comprehensive eye exam and tests were ran that I never had before, which are considered standard at this practice, and is covered by vision insurance. This place is amazing!This is going to be my family’s eye doctor for years to come.

I came for a regular eye exam and had my 1 year old with me. The facility was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and welcoming. they were sweet and understanding with my toddler and helpful and informative. will definitely be going back for my next exam.

I highly recommend Acworth Family Eye Care! The customer service from the minute you walk in is some of the best. The front desk rep, the technicians, the doctor and all the way to the ladies who assist you in finding glasses to fit your needs are all top notch. I havent been here in 5 years due to forgetting to make appointments for my eyes, but I am so glad I came to their new facility. They really make you feel like family. Dr. Reach was awesome. You cannot go wrong for becoming a patient of this facility. Definitely recommend.

Best optometry experience Ive had in a long time. Despite having to wear a mask, the staff made it a comfortable experience, and the whole ordeal took less than one hour! Dr. Hevesy was quick and, unlike most optometrists Ive seen, very personable. Glasses selection was also incredibly diverse, and the wait area helped me make a choice I loved!

Great service. They adjusted my glasses that have been sliding down my nose for months. Now my glasses fit perfectly. Dr. Hevesy was knowledgeable and I felt well informed at the conclusion of my appointment.

I felt like I had an eye infection going on over the weekend and they were able to fit me in Monday to check it out. The staff was very friendly and helpful checking both my health insurance and my eye coverage since it was a health related matter. Dr. Hevesy really listened to my concerns and helped me out. Will definitely be going back for my regular eye exams.

I have to say, I went in as an emergency with a swollen eye in a hell of a lot of pain. Everyone was so caring and extremely wonderful. Thia office is GREAT! Everyone is so helpful, knowledgeable courteous and caring. I had a medical issue over the weekend and the office was ablw to get me in for an appointment within 30 minutes. Then that was it. Sounds like a small thing, but it’s nice to feel like you’re eye care provider listens to you.

Years after going to these free eye exam places, this eye care group found out I had optic nerve atrophy. Such a professional and attentive group. Always looking out for what is best. And they have Saturday appointments to accommodate you.

He was diagnosed and they implemented a customized treatment program to improve his eye muscles. After 14 sessions, 2 doctor assessments and an online program, he is a new student and loves to read. I began seeing Dr. Reach when he was in Acworth on Main Street and have followed him to the new Acworth location because of the care I get from him and the staff. Acworth FamilyEyecare has been tremendous for emergency consultation during my spouses accidental fall and evaluation of some vision issues I was having while driving with new glasses. My son is 3 and was not comfortable at all with getting an eye exam. Everyone was so nice, encouraging and patient with him. We survived the exam, and I am beyond thankful for the staff that helped us make it through.
