These guys are AWESOME. Our bus broke down (we’re not from here) and they were able to take us that day and were super friendly and helpful. They were really really honest and fair, even helped recommend other shops when they couldn’t fit our big repair into their schedule. We cannot thank them enough, I wish we lived closer so we could use them as our regular mechanic. Highly recommend!!!!!!

No matter what the issue with any car, Phil and John always find the right repair the first time. Always on time and usually under budget. If there is an issue that needs more time we get a phone call with an easy to understand, clear explanation and estimate of cost involved. We worked with them in Concord at the Chrysler shop and we followed them to Central St. Acton. No one comes close to their ability and honesty.

Not sure where the negative reviews come from, really. Being there for a couple of years. Recently had my 6 fuel injectors of my BMW replaced there. They had no problems replacing injectors that I purchased from ebay, which saved me lots of $$$. They have no problem installing tires from tirerack either. Very cool, honest and no-nonsense guys. For problems as small as squeaking power steering or fill up steering fluid, they charge nothing that I feel compelled to give gratitude. They know their stuff and as their business name suggests: they take good care of imports too. The rate they charge is very fair and they dont charge you replacing anything that is not needed. Stop wasting your $$$ taking your import cars more than 3-5 years old to stealer and instead supporting our local honest business here.

These guys are my go-to. They are very competitively priced and their experience and honesty cant be beat. Of course, sometimes a mechanical job doesnt go perfectly on a car -- its the nature of the machine -- but that hasnt happened to me yet, and Id trust them, their advice, and their work over most dealers and chains. Plus, theres a good vibe at the shop.

I took my car to the dealer for the suggested 60,000 mile service. The dealers price for the service was outrageously expensive. At the suggestion of a friend I took my car to Import Domestic. The guys at Import Domestic significantly beat the dealers price and even provided a free shuttle service so I could get to my work on time. These guys took the time to explain exactly what they did in terms that I could understand as I know nothing about cars. Very honest guys that provide service at a great price. I was told that the garage was under new ownership and these guys went out of their way to ensure I was happy with the service as well as their pricing. I would highly recommend them as this is now my garage of choice. Thanks Phil and John!!!

This repair shop is for people who know nothing about cars and for those who know all about cars. There are two honest hardworking guys who really impress me each and every time we have a problem that we cannot fix. And believe me, I can fix a lot of things on a car! They are not cheap, but they are honest, and very little escapes them when it comes to fixing some of the knotty problems that come up in todays complex computer controlled vehicles. If someone gave them a bad review, it might be because cars today are complex, and even the best repairmen need a second day to really get down to what the issue might be with a particular repair. In many peoples busy lives, this would be unacceptable, but it happens even at really big and impersonal shops as well. Phil has been doing repairs for me for many years. Nice guy.

Ask for Phil Muirhead. Hes been my mechanic for years. Honest, reasonable, reliable. The guys a rare gem in the seedy world of auto mechanics.

Good quality work, honest, helpful and very reasonable price.

This place is overpriced and does not even deliver.After failing my inspection due to rear brakes, i brought my car here. They performed a small maintained for about 100$, after which it failed again. Then they replaced (without consulting me about the price) everything from brake lines to calipers to disks, for about $ 900-something. Upon picking up the car and being outraged at the bill, i was told that id have to pay to have them put the old parts back on (a few hundreds worth of work).After the car failed again, for the same reason, they (for free this time) tuned it to get it to pass with the lowest score (ie it would stop on the dyno in the maximum allowed distance).The car failed again in 2 years (the next time that rear brakes are tested), even though i drove it only in summers in between and garaged for the winter.They did not know what they were doing so they replaced everything they could, for an extreme amount of money for the job and ultimately their solution did not even work. I am extremely disappointed with this place and urge everyone not to bring their car there.
