Recently, I had a problem that my tire pressure was LOW!So I called Acton Ford, and the Service manager could ONLYoffer me an Appointment about several DAYS away!THAT was NOT good enough, so I decided to stop in that SAME day.The manager at the service desk said I am the ONLY one here. Normally,I would check this out, but I CANNOT do it now. So the manager ALSOsaid, If you want to wait in our Service Spot, MAYBE I can get to it soon.So I waited and very soon thereafter, someone noted that my vehicle wasIn the shop and being worked on! Soon thereafter, it was OK and theyONLY charged me for the Labor of the mechanic. I was SO grateful!
Acton Ford was awesome. My car had a recall on it that was causing transmission issues last spring. Sadly the part was on backorder and hard to get so it took about 4 months. However that is not Acton’s fault of course. So many industries have similar issues. Finally the part came in and by then I also had an oil leak and rusted brakes. Acton took my car in and it was done the next morning! A lot of work, but they got my car back on the road! They are wicked nice and even dealt with my monthly calls to check in on the part. Really great service center. Highly recommend if you’re new to area or need a good ford service center. I live 30mims away and have 2 ford centers near me, but more people recommended acton. Excellent service with Acton Ford and my salesman Gordon. We had some difficulty with USAA however Gordon and I were persistent and powered through with it. I highly recommend this dealership and my salesman Gordon. Also and extra plus up to the service department, they are fantastic.
Quick rundown - oil change at 7200 miles:- These service desk folks from seeing up the appointment, to listening to what I requested were efficient, polite and accommodating.- Oil change, check for an exhaust leak and the other normal items took about 2 goes to complete. This seemed to be a bit on the too much time side.- 2 weeks later I looked at the Ford Pass app and there is a message from the Oil Life alert - 25%. Figuring it was just an issue where they forgot to reset the timer in the car I checked the oil dipstick. It was full and it was clean looking BUT it seems darker, and therefore dirtier, than 500 mile old oil should be. The oil filter looks clean on the outside so the oil must have been changed.This has me questioning if the oil change was actually completed.
The Acton Ford Service Department once again excelled at the work done on my 2013 FordExpedition Limited which I purchased new from Acton Ford.They are punctual, thorough, timely, friendly, and experts at all the work they have performed over the years on my Expedition. I would highly recommend Acton Ford for all your service needs.
DO NOT USE THE SERVICE CENTER! Awful customer service. My Aunt’s car was towed here on 6/23 because it was the closest Ford dealership to where it broke down. It is now 7/3 and she was told the person who works on transmissions wasn’t able to get to it this week and will be on vacation until 7/12. What is she supposed to do? That’s 19 days without a car! And it’s not like she gets the car back on the 19th day, that’s just when they plan to begin the work. She was forced to pay $200 out of pocket to have it towed to another Ford dealership that can actually begin the work on Monday 7/5.
Acton Ford was Great! We brought our Fusion in for a specific problem, but Ed, the Service Manager, and his great team noted some recalls on it. They were polite, respectful and truly cared that the job was done efficiently and timely for us. Thank you.

Acton Ford is still great...bought a new Explorer there about 20 years ago...they were great then..recently installed a special kit for an F350 pickup truck and truck came back perfect. Price was lower for this particular work than at 2 other Ford dealers...plus we knew they would do the work properly. thank you

I love my Ecosport. I test drove one 3 years ago and I wanted one then. It took me 3 years to get it.I love everything it does, I cant for the cold weather so I can use the seat warmer.

The staff is ALWAYS friendly and personable. Matt went out of his way to resolve an issue with my key start as well as my Blue Tooth difficulties; he made sure he kept me informed as I waited for the service regardring what the mechanic was finding. Everything was resolved. John Santoro also stopped in while I was waiting, to see if everything was as I needed it to be.I return to Acton Ford because of the service, and I am never disappointed.

Typical dealer service. You go in with a particular item and they try to tack on more. Then overcharge for what they do. I could have had the boot replaced at Midas for half the price. Hate taking vehicle to dealership knowing Im going to get hosed but I had a recall item I wanted to get fixed. Soon as I left the place a piece fell off the car. Never go to a dealer for repairs.

I recently took my 2013 Ford Focus in to diagnose a problem with the vehicles audio system. My speakers would sporadically crackle and make loud static noise and then the entire audio system would go silent. i wasnt able to use the radio, CD, or Bluetooth features. Often, all audio would return the next time i used the car. This was such a random issue, i hesitated to bring the vehicle in, but thought, one day its just going to fail permanently. i was initially dissatisfied w/the diagnosis and cost to replace the audio control module -- opted to hold off. i also came in w/a knocking sound that only happened when i shut off the heat /AC. Again, i was given a very $ quote to fix that too. The car is 8 yrs old and i had just paid it off, so i wasnt interested in dropping $2k into it for issues that i felt i could just live with a little longer. i bought a new battery as i was told my battery was weak. i must admit, i left feeling very deflated and dissatisfied. And when i returned home i wrote an unsavory review . However, i want to highly commend the Mgr, Dan Summers, for reaching out to me both by phone and email and offering to work within my budget. It showed that Acton Ford REALLY does care about its customers and really does want to retain their customers. Because of his courtesy, effort and kindness. i will return to Acton Ford and continue to recommend Ford to my family and friends.
Best Experience I have had at a ford dealership. They got my car in right away. I was able to drop my car off the night before. They communicated with me about the repairs and pointed out my inspection sticker needed to be updated.
The service is quick, the people are great and I like the fact I can make an appointment for work to be done.

They have always fixed my car quickly and correctly, so I was surprised, and a little upset after a recent visit when they fixed an issue unrelated to the problem I brought it there for. Ive had this happen at other shops, and they charged for both the initial visit, and the follow up visits, so I was not looking forward to the second bill I was going to receive from Acton Ford. But not only did they not charge for the second visit, they gave me a free rental! Its so refreshing to find a repair shop with enough integrity to stand by their work, and take responsibility for their mistakes which, to reiterate, only happened once in the ten years Ive been taking my car there.

Acton Ford (9/15/20)Acton Ford provided us top notch service with our F150 & F350 company trucks. They were very professional, knowledgeable, and followed up with every step of our repairs. Our F350 had received a detailing by (Salem Ford) in which they hosed the inside of the vehicle and left large amounts of water in the brake lines and other areas of the truck causing multiple issues. Acton Ford stepped up and handled the problems without hesitation and had it ready for us within 2 days. Excellent customer service. We will be bringing all of our vehicles to Acton in the future!
The staff is very professional and accommodating. I manage my finances very tightly. Although most people view the dealership as an expensive option for vehicle repair, I always have found Acton Ford to be the best option for me.This is in sharp contrast to other dealerships that I have used on the East Coast. The other dealerships might be larger in size and have breathtaking drive in service areas… The other dealerships level of customer service is lacking and you pay through the nose for their lavish establishment.I’ve been with Acton Ford for close to 30 years… They have never let me down and routinely go out of their way to make sure that I’m happy. In my mind, there is no better place to take your vehicle for service or to purchase a vehicle.
I recently made an appointment to have my oil changed. (Acton Ford is not convenient to where I live, but I knew I would be in the area.) No big deal right? Well, I Ive found out that many dealers have trouble cleaning up after themselves. The excuse I receive is that its difficult to get to. My response is, Im able to clean it on the ground and you have a lift. Anyway, I arrive and add a spark plug change to the service. After leaving I notice that they cleaned up after themselves. No burning oil smell, or leaking oil on my new driveway. I hope it wasnt a fluke. I will return and follow up with a review. I would have given 5 stars but I went to the parts department prior to the service where I was met with a comment about my last name. Yes, Its long. Get over it! Were not all Smiths or Jones.Follow up.I went back for another oil change. They cleaned up after themselves, just like my prior visit. A great thing! Who likes to smell burning oil as the drive down the road. Maybe Ford Motor Company will read this and share it with their other dealerships. Keep up the good work guys.

Acton Ford was fantastic assisting me in buying out our lease. They went above and beyond the call of duty when the title never arrived to them from Ford. They also registered the car once the duplicate title arrived. On top of that they were able to change the oil and obtain an inspection sticker with an extremely fast turn around.I am totally impressed!

Went there when my F250 had a steering issue. Death Wobble its called. I was in a hurry to get back to Florida. They were able to get the job done much sooner than the dealer closer to my house. Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable. They understood how to fix my problem right away. I have had no problems with my truck since. I got a new set of tires that they bead balanced for me. Smooths out the ride of truck tires very nicely.
The service advisor, Matthew Maillet, did a great job at getting my car in and out for its 30k service.
Acton Ford has been the best. Kenny in service is fantastic, always there to treat you right and do whatever he can for you. The Service Techs really know your auto and get to the bottom of your problems when you bring it in. For my Platinum F-150, 2020 these are the only guys who will work on it.

The user interface at Acton Ford, meaning interactions with the personnel was fine / normal. I am not satisfied that It took two days to diagnose my 4WD issue and a third to repair it. They were simply working on other customers vehicles and didnt have time for mine despite having made an appointment. It is never easy for me to give up the vehicle I use to get to work, so I feel they dont take my issues seriously.
Acton Ford has been the best. Ed in service is fantastic. Simply the best service experience in 30yrs. The Service techs get to the bottom of your problems when you bring it in.
Good luck with this place. Theyll jerk you around, take a week to do a simple job that should be done in an hour. Then theyll leave a job halfway done and abandon it. I finally had to just take my car like it was. To top it off, all my air conditioning tube caps were missing
The experience of buying at Acton Ford was wonderful. Charlie and Alan were extremely helpful, knowledgeable about the Ford lineup, and not pushy in any way. My wife and I really enjoyed our experience and feel like we got a great deal. It felt like a family run place where everyone got along and had a good time.They were friendly, honest, and calm to deal with. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a new car.
I have never used Acton Ford before. It was recommended to me. However I doubt I will return. I took our Ford Explorer in for two recalls and a couple noises and a possible break job. Pretty hefty bill. They did the work. However they charged a diagnostic fee. My experience at other dealers is once you have the work done that diagnostic fee is taken off. Especially at such a hefty bill. Our bill was over $2K! Also they offer a loaner but you have to pay for it. For a bill this high you think they would have eaten that and the diagnostic fee. That little act would have spoken volumes (and yes I hinted and outright asked and they said no). Plus we ended up with the rental for two days as it took two days to repair but yes it was several big jobs but like I said a little help like hey we will pay for the rental or we will remove the diagnostic fee would have helped. Did they do the repairs? Yes! Was the repairs done well? I guess so.. time will tell..car is running pretty good thus far.
It just cost me $1,700+ to have my spark plugs replaced at 100,000 miles in my F-150 because somebody thought it was a good idea to use bolts that wouldnt last 100,000 miles. Poor engineering, manufacturing, materials used, maintenance schedule, or some combination of the four led me to my issue. $1,700 is incomprehensible. I contacted Fords national customer service center and they were unwilling / unable to provide any financial assistance for the repair even though the spark plug change was a part of their scheduled maintenance for 100,000 miles. I have owned several Toyotas before purchasing this Ford F-150. When we got a boat that Id need to haul, I decided to give Ford a chance. While I have been pleased with the truck in a lot of ways, as a direct result of this incident, and the complete lack of support I received from Ford, I can say with confidence that this will be my last Ford product. Fords response to my request absolutely was a make or break for me. I plan on having a boat, and therefore a truck, for the next 40+ years. I will likely purchase at least four more trucks. Fords response has guaranteed I will not purchase another Ford product. Additionally, I plan on telling anyone that will listen to me how disappointing this has been and strongly encourage them not to spend money on a Ford product.
Staff were great, kept me informed as the vehicle was worked on, provided transportation home, and called during the day with updates as the vehicle was repaired.Once I was picking the vehicle up staff helped me navigate the FORD Pass and got me tied in to the app.Overall experience was great and would not hesitate to bring my truck back for service in the future.
Clear communication throughout the process from staff. A great mechanic took it all apart, found the problem, kept me updated as the big job evolved, replaced the broken part and put it back together well. Now its ready for the next 160,000 miles (or atleast a good portion of it) Highly recommend!

I was looking to replace my 9 year old Explorer that was still running well and looked good. Started at Ford.COM to price out a new one and see what incentives were available. Found an Explorer ST that fit my needs at Acton Ford. With a few more clicks I was approved for credit and booked an appointment to check the Explorer out.Received an email confirming the appointment and a phone call from Elio Espino, that we were alset for our meeting the next evening.Meet Elio and was introduced to John Santoro who would be my salesperson. John and I went over the financing, the incentives, rebated, and interest. The deal was good for me and placed a deposit on the Explorer. We scheduled the following Saturday to finalize the loan and take delivery.On delivery day everything was waiting and order. While we were reviewing and completing the financing paperwork; John was getting the registration transferred and plates moved over.I would recommend John and his team because through the whole process there was not pressure. He wanted to help me with the purchasing experience not just sell me a vehicle.

The service team is great! Everyone is so nice, and they are a huge help! When my car makes a noise, I can bring it in right away, without an appointment, and they drive around with me to listen to it. Best experience with a dealership that I’ve ever had.

I went in to have the Edge appraised, and within 4 hours, drove out with my new Fusion. I am extremely happy with my purchase. There are two things that make an impact on me when getting my car serviced. First is the quality of the work and second is the customer service. Acton Ford did well on both measures. The customer service agents are welcoming and helpful. I feel like they know me when I walk in the door. I have never had any problems with the quality of their work.The waiting area is average for a service area. It was nice and clean which is important. One thing to improve though is parking when you are dropping your car off. There are a few spaces allocated to customers. However when I arrived they were full so I parked on the side of the building. A man who I believe just moves the cars told me I couldnt park there; he told me to park at the end of the row on the right. I didnt mind walking the distance, but I thought there should have been some signage.

My issue is more with FMC than Acton Ford. Have a 2010 Fusion Hybrid. Last spring (2019) I noticed a loss of hybrid battery functionality (battery would never cut in and start from stop had significant lag). Brought the car to Acton Ford who checked it, charged me ~$120 for diagnostic & SW update, but said their diagnostic SW could find no problem. After a year of continued performance issues, I found that Ford had issued TSB 20-2142 to address this specific issue. SW in the BECM and PCM is configured to disable hybrid battery functionality after 9 years. The date on the TSB is April 2020, but the problem had been discussed in Ford Forums since June 2019. I visited Acton Ford and showed them the TSB (which they were not familiar with). They followed it to update the SW and did fix the issue but charged me another $120 for the effort. I find it unacceptable that Ford engineered a deliberate disabling of their product, didnt inform their dealers for over a year after the issue would be seen, and wont fix things at no cost.
Might not have all the extras the big dealerships have when it comes to a movie theater waiting rooms and espresso machines but thats not whats important. Great people, great service. Do business locally!
Acton Ford is great to work with. They don’t hassle you and chase you around the lot while you’re looking at cars. Gordon is wonderful to work with. I’ve been buying my cars through him for quite some time now and even have other family members start going to see him. Wonderful place!
We had a problem with the air conditioning unit in our Ford Escape, I called and they got me in very quickly and remedied the problem without cost to me and especially during this time, it was very quick. They even fixed a recall o the vehicle! thank you
I was satisfied with the work done on my automobile, I had my Ford Edge worked on two Saturdays in a row, but the first week, the job got extended into Monday, and I had to rent a car outta pocket, and the second week $150 was added to my bill for the removal and replacement. rusty bolts that cost $6 a piece. I love there demeanor, they are courteous, and helpful, but, both times I had to spend more money than initially agreed upon(estimated), I feel like if these two little factors didnt come into play, this wouldve been the perfect experience.

This place, Acton Ford service department absolutely sucks. I live nearby and was serviced there a few times - I leased Ford Focus Electric in 2012 from them and bought a new one in 2015 - a really nice and silent car requiring almost no maintenance.Recently I noticed some sort of noise and light vibration in my Ford Focus Electric (3 years old, 31K). Service department suggested to change all 4(!) tires (that was a first red flag to me, as 2 front tires were replaced 2 months ago). Some suspension support parts had to be changed (I can understand that) and they reassured me all rotors were totally rusted and that caused noise (while driving? I did not complaint about any brakes noise).So, stupidly I agreed to have everything serviced, but front tires.In every electric car, breaks are used 10-20% of time to slow down. So I would expect them to live at lest 100K+(if not 200K) miles or longer. Not 30K.Any attempts of mine to even look at the original rotors were rejected by a manager, as had they intentionally disposed them before I came to pick-up my car. So, I paid at least $700 extra for totally unnecessary new breaks and the service refused to even show any proof, why that needed to be done.Do not ever go to the cheaters. They would lie and lie and lie to you. Every time they can.
Came in with a paint issue I didnt know what to do about. The guys at Acton not only fixed the issue in 30 minutes, but noticed my inspection sticker was out of date and took care of that for me too. Great experience.

Vehicle in for inspection. Tried to charge me almost $200 for replacement of 4 bulbs. Told they would have to take the headlamp out which was inaccurate. Told wiper blade was split in half which was inaccurate. Service manager called to investigate the issue and offered a make-good gesture. Service team needs to do a better job in problem solving communication but there appears to be a higher level of concern that helps to overcome technical glitch.
I shopped all over New England and finally found my deal at this small dealership local to me. Really great trade value, good pricing on a new truck they had to allocate for me. Easy, laid back, low pressure buying experience. Honest and responsive. Ive not had my first service yet, but Ill post a review when I do. Up front and honest. If I like this truck, Ill keep buying from them!
Gordon Chan was very helpful in getting me all the discounts and promotions I could get and gave a blue book value trade-in without hassle to make the vehicle affordable for me. He also went through the entire operation of the vehicle with me including setting up my phone with the blue tooth connector which is not always easy. I would highly recommend him. Liz Shuman the finance manager also made the registry transfer and pay-off simple and trouble free.

The dealership closes at 5 pm. My family showed up at 4:30 pm to check out a new expedition. Because it was so late the sales rep wasnt able unlock the car and suggested we come back tomorrow. It was a nice waste of time. Perhaps close at 4:30 pm?
I had a horrible experience in the service department. The gentleman there told me it would cost $650 to fix my car, that they needed to take a bunch of other parts out to make the repair and special order a part. Thank God I spoke with my brother who recommended I check in with another trusted garage in the area. The other garage repaired my car without taking the other parts out, and additionally fixed my head light and took care of my registration sticker all for under $200. I truly believe that the service department was trying to take advantage of me!!!

While on a road trip with my 2015 F250 6.7 diesel I had a check engine light come on, followed closely by a DEF fault. The service department fit me into their schedule even though Im not a regular customer. The repair was done as soon as they could and I only lost 3 hours of travel time.
